Class Descriptions
Latin
Latin is the only language that can open the portal to the afterlife allowing the soul to cross over. Thus, students are required to take Latin all four years of their training at ASPR.

Reaper Ethics
Reapers are bound to come across those who beg for more time or don’t wish to crossover. There’s also the more evil offers of bribery to take the soul of someone who is not the assigned target. This class is to teach students how and why to avoid doing those things and the difference between right and wrong when it comes to reaping.

Reaping Techniques
This class teaches you everything you need to know about removing a soul and protecting it until the soul is a) ready to cross and b) you have opened the afterlife portal. To offer a hands on aspect, students are required to practice on lab animals. Don’t worry though. The souls can be placed back into these animals by the teacher.

Alchemy
Potions and Chemicals are a huge part in the reaper world. They are the number one defense against Soul Suckers, aside from physical combat. Students are expected to know how to make certain potions and use them effectively in protecting souls.

Scrying, Sensing, and Victim Location
Once a student hits level four they are given supervised assignments regarding souls to take. Locating the correct victim is absolutely critical and that’s what this class is all about. It teaches students how to locate the general area of the victim using crystal scrying and then sensing the victim once in the same vicinity.

Field Experience
This class is only offered to level fours. The students are given a supervised assignment and must successfully reap the soul. They are graded many different aspects, such as soul extraction, care, protection, and guidance.
