Appearance;
This strong, young lass reaches the height of around 5 feet and 6 inches, average for a girl of her age and she probably will not get any taller. Her physique is slender and strong, muscles real and only very slightly visible under those fleshy thighs and long limbs, her body still giving off a curvaceous form as she held a medium sized bust and slightly rounded hips, but all in all giving a more slender figure then anything that is equipped with strength. Her skin is the color of a bleached peach, pale but still thriving with a very light taint of pink to symbolize health, as her face is dotted with faint freckles as well as they are on her shoulders and a few on her back. Her eyes gleam a bright green blue, the color of a shallow ocean pool near the beach as they are quite stunning when stared directly into, equipped with dark eyelashes that curl naturally on both lower and top lids of her eyes. Her hair is a jungle of thick, natural red colored curls that fall in silky tangles around her head and reach down to her middle back around her lats and also set on her shoulders more towards the side where her ears are. Her eyebrows are a dark red color to match her hair, and are shaped nicely to match over her eyes as she keeps them waxed weekly to keep those sparse hairs away. Another lovely feature about Merida is her dashing smile, which comes with a pair of straight, white teeth as they come together to make an optimistic and sweet grin that can leave anyone in pieces. She was also gifted with a round jaw and high cheek bones, her face chiseled lightly to be quite lovely to look at as her lips are a normal peachy pink.
When it comes to makeup, Merida is known to wear eyeliner and mascara, but lightly, not a lot. Her eyeliner goes on the top lid usually as her mascara really puts the curl of her eyelashes in place, and at times she uses pale greens and other pale colors for eyeshadow if she's getting really dressed up. She loves to douse her lips in red lipstick at times, or just a pale gloss to make them shine as sometimes a little blush as well though she blushes quite easily so it's often not needed. Her style consists of cute skirts and dressy tops, as well as some more baggy clothes with t-shirts and jeans that come with jackets. She's not all that on stylish, but her favorite colors to wear are gray, green, and blue though she will indulge in white as well and often is getting into patterned tights and leggings to go with some lovely sweaters when the weather gets cold out.
Personality;
Fiery, brave, outgoing, and above all adventurous. You can't keep this lass from exploring new things and being interested in the world, or having a fun time outside doing whatever it is that she finds amusing. With a brave heart, she takes challenges head on with an harsh angle and usually cracks right through them in no time at all while showing people how sassy she is with a rebellious attitude and an independent mind, stating her opinion confidently without fear of judgment. Her outgoing and optimistic view on life keeps her chin up and out of the depressing hole most people fall into, but she keeps herself quite happy even with Leon following her around and getting more tense with her constant rejections. Her parents constant pressing on her to go into a medical degree and marry a "handsome" and "rich" young man like Leon constantly annoys the shit out of her, and she usually relieves her stress with outdoor activities at her job. But, even though she has mostly ups instead of downs, Merida does have a bit of a temper and can act childish to situations too big for her to handle. Her maturity level is quite high, but we all lose touch with our adult levels at times and go back into the stage of the inner kid. But even so, Merida's sweet and kind nature to people who respect her and treat her well is more then a gift; it's a lovely way for a human to be around other humans, and she socializes quite well among people even though she often prefers to be in more isolated areas then harsh crowds at school. Luckily, she's turning into an adult and doesn't have to worry about it as much, and often fantasizes about leaving town once she can raise enough money to support herself since her parents don't even want her leaving, so the support for moving out and whatnot isn't exactly available to her at this moment. But Merida is a lovely friend to have, and will defend you as long as she thinks you deserve her support and defense.
Likes;
♡ Archery- Agh, her favorite thing to do. With a bow and an arrow, teaching kids how to use old weaponry like the arrow is fun for her.
♡ Movies- You'll find Merida watching many movies when she isn't allowed to go out. She prefers the darker time movies, about knights and war.
♡ Nature- Oh, what a lovely thing. Nature, so full of life and it always makes Merida feel refreshed to go on a long walk through the forest.
♡ Candy- She has quite the sweet tooth. You'll find Merida munching on many things, including a variety of pastries and sour gummies.
♡ Curly Hair- She's got a soft side for lads with curly hair. To match her own, it only makes her feel even more fuzzy to find someone like that.
Dislikes;
✗ Arrogance- Oh, stop trying to impress her. She doesn't care for bloody wankers who think they are all that. Go show off to someone else.
✗ Reptiles- She's never been too fond of those ugly beasts, except turtles, which she does make an exception for. Turtles are cute.
✗ Chores- She'd rather be out having fun, whether it's shooting arrows at the camp or swimming the nearby lake. Work is for smucks!
✗ Orders- Merida has never been a fan for being ordered around by her strict mother, who often is trying to get her to go out with a cocky rich boy.
✗ Spicy Foods- Disgusting! They burn her tongue and make her entire mouth feel like it's on fire. Screw that! No spicy food for her.
Hobbies;
♔ Archery- Of course, it's a hobby. She works down at a campsite by the lake, and teaches archery there. She does it out in her own back yard too.
♔ Culture- She makes it a habit of studying her own culture all the time and looking up new ways to celebrate it. Celtic is the culture she goes by.
♔ Reading- She doesn't mind sitting down and reading a good book and then comparing it to the movie. In fact, she finds it quite amusing.
♔ Baking- Agh, never leave Merida out of making some delicious cookies or a cake! She adores baking in the kitchen, and then chowing down.
♔ Walking- Taking long walks around the woods and by the lake, or even through the camp's grounds is something she's always enjoyed.
