~Despair~
Despair suddenly woke up from a massive flux in aural energy.
"Oh. It seems something interesting is happening. Better go check it out" he said as all in one motion he snapped his fingered and opened a portal in which he stepped through. He cloaked his energy and appeared on a Hugh branch of a tree over the developing situation.
"Huh, so the puppy and the wannabe are gonna go at it, huh? And all over a single girl. Pathetic. But I guess watching dad's puppy won't be to boring." despair said inaudibly to himself as he focused even further onto the new battle field below him.

~Keru~
Keru looked up from the girl to see a rage-stricken Kale, and Riki running back with water. Riki started to yell at kale, but ran to deliver the water to Appare instead.
"Thank you Riki. He got here sober than I expected. I used a lot if my entry with tue tracking spell, and using my aura to teleport here just sank my energy levels more. Shit. Now I have to fight... Guess it can't be helped though." Keru lifted up his hand from the side of Appare's face and looked a them as they were lit in a light blue flame. He brushed them over his lips and started bending down towards Appare's face.
"Good thing I draw in three different types of energy. This should piss Kale off." Keru said as he returned his hand to Appare's face and kissed her on the lips. Blue light traveled from his lips to hers, and her heart began to beat a faster rhythm. He then handed the still dozing Appare to Riki.
"I gave her an energy kiss. She should regain consciousness in a matter of seconds." He turned to kale. "Now, there's a score to settle."Keru's body began to glow an orange that quickly increased to a brilliant red. His aura matching Kales in shape and size.
"Let's get this over with, shall we?"

Kale's aura was pulsating the whispers around him telling him to strike and kill with no mercy, a feat he knew he could accomplish. A low laugh escaped his mouth as he moved with unnatural speed running at Keru. Feigning a punch Kale dropped to his knees for a brief second to pick up Appare and rising back to his feet jumping back, away from Keru. Holding her limp form Kale began to laugh. "Sorry kiddo," He said mockingly, "I already took her first." Walking away from the area Kale walked back to the car guided by the music as is pulsated the air around him. Adjusting Appare over his shoulder Kale continued to walk nodding his head to the beat. His aura was barely noticeable but still present just in case Keru tried anything.

Appare was wrapping in chains, sinking deeper and deper into the inky blackness. It filled her mouth, nose, eyes; everything. She couldn't speak or hear, and was dying to know what was going on. But as time passed, it just didn't seem to matter anymore. How long had it been? Seconds ago? Minutes? A year? That didn't seem to matter either. Suddenly there was the strangest tingling in Appare's lips that seemed to spread throughout her entire being, causing the ringlets of iron to dissolve into nothing. While no longer sinking, the neko seemed to be drifting. Could she move now? Then something pulled her out of the dark, lifting Appare up and carrying the girl away.

Her tail twitched.

Appare was in her bedroom at home, with sunlight streaming through the window and the room at a perfect temperature. A dream? Had the blackness been just a dream? She shrugged, and snuggled into her pillow. Whatever.

The neko squirmed in Kale's grasp, finding a way to wrap her arms around his neck and burying her face into his hair and shoulder.

But what was that smell? it wasn't her own familair scent, but.... Like the smell that whooshed past whenever you walked past the boy's locker room. Except less sweaty, and more sophisticated. Much more sophisticated. It was a pretty nice smell....

Appare gave a sigh of utter contentment, then mumbled something incoherently.

Wait.

She stiffened, knowing something was wrong, but refusing to open her eyes. Appare knew the darkness was real, and only caused by her shut eyelids. Awareness started to leak through her dilusions.

Why was her pillow shaggy? And. Why. Did. It. Smell. Like. Men's. Shampoo!?

Appare's eyes flew open, only to see a mass of silvery white hair. She slowly became aware of her situation. She had been knocked out and now...? Kale was carrying her somewhere. And she was snuggling.

Appare jumped out of Kale's grasp, effectively kneeing him in the gut at the same time. The neko scrambled away wildly, trying to get a safe distance away. She stopped at the base of a tree, taking in deep chunks of air.

~Despair~
A booming voice became audable above Kale and Appare.
"What a naughty little cheater, Kale. You should be ashamed at yousf for running. Is itthat you are scared of the hound of Hades? You act tough, but your soul says otherwise. You soul eaters have such tainted souls. It's almost erotic how unclan it is." Despair appeared in between Appare and Kale. "I cant let you run away from the puppy, there's no fun in watching that." and despair bit his thumb. As blood started dripping out he marked a circle on Appare's forehead. "I'll make a deal with you though. If you can defeat the Cerberus, I'll ensure you get the girl. Well be going now. Good luck"
Despair snapped his fingers and he and Apare vanished in a shroud of black.

~Keru~
"Kale you fucking cheater!" Keru Raged at the soul eater. His aura boiled and bubbled and erupted in flames.
"I-I can't move! Whats wrong with me?! Riki! I need your help! Preform a sealing spell! Please! If you don't, I- GAHHHH!!"
Keru fell forward, cringing in pain. Riki ran forward to help, but Keru quickly turned his head to her and yelled, "Don't cone any closer! I can't control...GAAAAHHHHH!!" Keru"s back suddenly erupted in aura that turned to a pitch black. The aura quickly manifested into two black and red wings. A symbol had also appeared on his forehead, and the black long sleeved shirt he had once worn was now in tatters around him, revealing two chain tattoos around his arms. They slowly startedfading, link by link.
"KALE FUCKIG COUSLAND!! IVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU SHIT!!" Kerus new wings beat once and he was off after the soul eater.

Kale turned his head in anger once his prize was lost. "You little bitch." He said facing Keru. "You think you can touch me, ME?" Kale's aura began to swarm around him and tendrils of darkness began to free themselves from him as shadow beings appeared next to him. "You may have had enough but I have enough strength to keep you away from me." A slow laugh escaped Kale as he turned his back on the boy as his body began to rip itself apart to free his power. As his screams of pain turn silent Kale rises his power covering his body like armor (see update in char sheet.) Turning to watch as the boy Keru fights against his barrier Kale mocks his knowing the more enraged he gets the better chances he'll have of winning. "C'mon little mutt do you really think you can beat me? I am a soul eater my own father fears me! As if you could harm me at your best." He says mocking the boy. Charging his barrier he readies himself just in case Keru tries anything.

~Keru~
Kerns voice suddenly changed. "You call me mutt, but I assure you I am pure bred. And you say your father fears you? Your father grovels at my lineage!!" Keru let loose an amazing amount of dark energy. His form became completely consumed by the energy, and the size increase tenfold. It blew off and a large black dog with red highlights (Husky esque) appeared in his stead, real chains appearing in the tattoos place. "and now it's time for you to follow in your fathers footsteps."

"I cant let you run away from the puppy, there's no fun in watching that." No fun!? Appare's eyes widened as he bit his thumb. What was this nutbar doing!? What was he saying!? The neko fliched, hair raising at the back of her neck. "Uhm....?" Why was he putting his blood on her forehead...? "I'll make a deal with you though. If you can defeat the Cerberus, I'll ensure you get the girl. Well be going now. Good luck" "Now hey just wait a minute here-" But then the forest disappeared, again.

By now, Appare was thoroughly pissed. She had been sexually assualted, dragged to a forest, been knocked out, and now kidnapped! Hell no! This was not happening! And everybody was treating her like some piece of meat! "I'll ensure you get the girl." Nuh uh! That creepy guy couldn't ensure worth shit, where Appare was conserned.

Riki ran forward to help Keru but it was already to late when Keru said stay back so she stood her ground waiting to see when she could help. Keru went after Kale and Appare so Riki did the same but, of course at this point she was very slow compared to Keru. "If everyone else breaks the rules, heck why can't I?" Riki said to herself with delight. Plants started swarming in around her while she closed her eyes gathering most of her energy so she could stop all this madness. Riki opened her eyes and put on a evil grin and ran to catch up with Keru to see if she could help him calm down.

Kale cracked his knuckle feeling as his power coursed over his body. His aura was intense even for him but Keru was no slacker either. Kale laughed at Keru's comment about his father. "Of course he would bow," He says casually, "He is a human after all." Kale's power began to charge all over his body in preparation for retaliation if needed. "I am the son of a demon and human, nothing special outside of my heritage." He said turning away from Keru again. Walking away he drops his barrier his desire to fight gone. As he's walking away Kale calls out. "I really don't like underclassmen. They sicken me to the core." He says walking further away from Keru. Stopping suddenly he turns back and faces the approaching Riki. He looks at Keru his armor beginning to intensify in power. "You really are stupid," He says laughing, "That one seems to like you yet you can't take a hint. I pity you." He says turning around and heading back to the car.

~Keru~
Keru in dog form Pounced inches away from Kale and barked a shockwave that disoriented Kale, if only for a moment. "This battle is not over, pathetic and puny Soul Eater." As the demon dog spoke a circle of black and blue flames formed around the clearing in the forest. They quickly formed into a dome, leaving no visibility to the outside world. "Hellfire Dome. This place is now in a realm between realms. No one will disturb us here." two more links in Keru's chains had vanished, and more demonic aura surrounded him. His size increased, his eyes glew even more towards a blood red, his wings Grew more defined, and now two snake tails appeared.
But suddenly his eyes changed to a blue.
"Kale, this is NOT me. I can't control my own power. Someone is manipulating the energies. I can't stop taking them in- ah!" The blue eyed Keru choked out.
"Shut up. I am you. You just have no grasp over the power your pathetic mother sealed inside you. I am that raw dark power!" The red Eyed Keru returned. He ran to Kale and tried to grasp him in his jaws, bringing the snake tails around to attempt to constrict him.

~Despair~
"Appare, you realize why I couldn't let you be there, right? It wasn't out of spite, and believe me, I won't make you do anything against your will, besides being here with me during this battle." Despair talked to the Neko, her in his arms and them levitating above the ensuing battle.
"They won't be able to see or sense us. I've cloaked us, so to speak. Your energy was really hard to hide, I do have to say though." He directed their attention below them. "Your men are fighting over you. One for an experiment, as far as I've gathered, the other for your benefit. It's rather stupefying to watch their human desires run rampant." The girl started stirring in his arms. "I wouldn't struggle too much if I were you. You may fall to an untimely death. Besides, look down now." He directed her attention below once more to see the dome of blue fire surround the two fighting below.
"Hmph. The puppy is making it awfully hard to enjoy the battle. Luckily, your angelic sight should be able to see past the fires of hell, and I can see past it with little effort. Oh, you may enjoy hearing this:" Despair hinted to the part where the blue eyed Keru spoke to Kale, telling of his predicament.
"This makes me tingle with excitement, the Cerberus may rise once more, and the only one who has any possibility of resealing him within 6 dimensions is restrained by yours truly." Despair mumbled to no one in particular. "The cursed one may rise yet rise again" Despair sounded an octave lower than a giddy school girl.

"Appare, you realize why I couldn't let you be there, right? It wasn't out of spite, and believe me, I won't make you do anything against your will, besides being here with me during this battle." What? How did he know her name!? Appare fought against that darkness that shrouded her mind, not unlike the one from before. Suddenly she was awake, and instinctively hissed at how high up she was. She looked up, discovering that the guy was carrying her, floating above what seemed to be a fight between Kale and some kind of dog. Dog!? Keru! But....? "Your men are fighting over you. One for an experiment, as far as I've gathered, the other for your benefit. It's rather stupefying to watch their human desires run rampant."

Appare snarled. "My men!? They're just guys! And I don't own them!" She squirmed, trying to find a way out of his grasp. "I wouldn't struggle too much if I were you. You may fall to an untimely death. Besides, look down now." The neko followed his direction and looked down, where a fiery blue dome covered the fight, obscuring it from view. "What? I can't see...-" "Hmph. The puppy is making it awfully hard to enjoy the battle. Luckily, your angelic sight should be able to see past the fires of hell, and I can see past it with little effort. Oh, you may enjoy hearing this:"

What? I can't see.... But Appare could certainly hear, and her cat ears pricked foreward. "Kale, this is NOT me. I can't control my own power. Someone is manipulating the energies. I can't stop taking them in- ah!"

"Keru!" Appare glared up at the weirdo. "What are you doing to him!? Stop it!" "Shut up. I am you. You just have no grasp over the power your pathetic mother sealed inside you. I am that raw dark power!" The neko's eyes widened. What...? Anger spiked ever higher. "I know your not talking to me," the angel screamed down. "But YOU need shut up! Your not Kale, so don't lie! Kale! Kale, can you hear me!? That thing isn't you so, don't let it control you! I know you're stronger than that!"

"This makes me tingle with excitement, the Cerberus may rise once more, and the only one who has any possibility of resealing him within 6 dimensions is restrained by yours truly." Appare was practically spitting with rage, her hair fluffed up and everything. "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!? You; you're part angel too, right!? You're like me, right!? But all you've been doing so far is spewing nonsense! We gotta go down there and help them! NOW! Let go whoever it is and help them! PLEASE!"

Now all of this was more than what Appare had bargained for. She didn't agree to get caught up in all this mess, and this was just the first day of school! The neko was fairly certain the weirdo was going to drop her for screaming at him, so she was probably going to die soon. The thing is, despite her heritage, the only things that separated Appare from a normal human are her ears and tail. Sure she is flexible and fast, but there were humans out there who are more so. She was never strong, never did have the ability to sense auras, nor did she have claws or sharp teeth. So yes, she was going to die soon. Better to go out in style though.

"LISTEN! Please please please stop them and save Keru! PLEASE! I'm begging you! You can drop me or whatever, just save the people down there!" Why am I always the one who's in trouble!? Why me!? Why am I so useless!? Appare tightened her grip on her captor's jacket, shaking with emotion. "Please..." The neko added desperately. If this was all she could do, then so be it.

~Despair~
"Why would I stop it? This is what I want. Its even more convenient that you have little angelic power. As for me being an angel, I'd say not. I am a fallen angel, at most. That is a whole 'nother story." Despair rambled to the girl.
"However, I'll cut you a deal. I'll absorb your power for the time being and let you into the Hellfire Dome. If you can stop the Dog and the demon as you intend, I'll give you your powers back. hell, I'll even throw in an enhancement. Even if you could stop them, theirs no way you'd be able to do it in time. " Despair bartered with the girl.
"You see, as well as manipulating all the energy I can handle into Keru, I am also going to direct all the aura inside the dome to the Cursed Being."
Despair was one cocky SoB, and with reason. The only possible hitch in the plan would be if Kale decided to Help Keru, which at this point, and in the current situation, even with the blue eyed Keru's outburst, would not happen. Whether Keru defeated Kale, or the other way around, the energy would still go to where he wanted.

The bark confused Kale for a few seconds but when he regained his senses he found the Keru charging at his his jaws wide. "Silly little pup." Kale said laughing allowing Keru to bite him. The backlash of his power was released as soon as Keru's teeth touched him. The energy shot out of his armor and coursed through Keru's body. As the shock reverberated back to Kale his armor recharging slightly Keru dropped him. Kale stood brushing himself off as he watched the dog back away in confusion from the pain. "Now you have to die." Kale said coldly his armor beginning to glow brightly. Rushing at Keru taking advantage of his confusion Kale popped out a set of claws on his armor and delivered a savage slash across Keru's muzzle, following up with a kick to the jaw. "Death comes to those that dare defy the Cousland name." Kale said Crouching low.

"However, I'll cut you a deal. I'll absorb your power for the time being and let you into the Hellfire Dome. If you can stop the Dog and the demon as you intend, I'll give you your powers back. hell, I'll even throw in an enhancement. Even if you could stop them, theirs no way you'd be able to do it in time." Appare took in a deep, trembling breath. So what? It wasn't like she had much power in the first place. The neko would have to get the duo to stop fighting with her words.

Appare dimly remembered the almost fight between Kale and Keru earlier that day. They had completely ignored her.... She shook her head. No. She would have to believe that, since they knew her better, they would listen. They had to. Appare gritted her teeth. "Fine. Just let me go down there, okay?"

~Keru~
Kale reflected his jaws and powered himself. Keru looked back up for a kick to the jaw. he preformed a back flip, his tails shooting sphere's of black fire at the Soul eater, and when his head came back to look at Kale he launched a bigger ball of fire, this one white. Kale attempted to repel/absorb the balls of fire energy. He did so with the first two easily, but the last one hit him head on, damaging him. "Hah, the first two were just a diversion. You forget I make use of more than one type of energy. I have the powers of demons, Astral Beings, and Sacred power, to name just three. He backed up his statement by cloaking himself in red, blue, and green energy, all tinged in black. They all enclosed on him and compressed his form. He winked out of existence temporarily, appearing behind Kale the next milisecond. He whipped around his tails in an attempt to knock the soul eater back. "You're just lucky I have my limits with these chains on." He slammed his tails into Kale.

~Despair~
"Hmph. Whatever. The final chain links will be off soon, and even if you do coax him back to human form, it may be to late." Despair placed his hand over the blood mark on her forehead and a white light passed into his hand. "I'll be seeing you later then.. or not." He teleported her into the dome of fire below. "Third times the charm. Hopefully she doesnt pass out, or her now human body will dissintegrate." Despair spoke to himself. "I wonder how long it will take her to realize her tail and ears are gone as well..." he spoke as he watched on.

Appare gasped as she felt something come out of her forehead. All of a sudden, the scents and sounds that normally flowed through her nervous system were stifled. However, her eyes were bedazzled with extra brightness in color. Then, just as suddenly, Appare found herself in the dome of fire. Surprised, the ex-neko fell to the ground clumsily. Strange, normally she had such balance.... Appare caught sight of where her tail was supposed to be, and stifled the kind of scream that you can only find in horror movies. She clapped her hands to her head, and found no ears. Wait... she eased her hands downward, and instead there was a pair of ugly human ears. "Omigawd...Omigawd...." The girl rocked back and forth, trembling but trying to keep it together. It's not permanant, just go and save you friends Appare.... The now human whimpered, and squeaazed her eyes shut.. I can't... I just can't do it! This is all too much! Her eyes flew open when she heard something hit Kale. Appare's gaze locked on his injured form. "KALE!," she screamed involuntarily.

Her body working by itself, Appare half crawled, half stumbled the space between herself and Kale. "A-are you okay!?" But Keru got to him before she did, whapping Kale with his tail. "Keru! How could you do that to Kale!? Stop it! STOP IT!" Now, the giant dog was very close to Appare now, thanks to her attempt to help Kale. "Kale, stop fighting him! Can't you see; that's not Keru!"

~Keru~
'What is she doing here? Why can't I control myself... this has never happened, I can't... I... Wait, why am I going towards her now? NO! DONT DO IT KERU!!!!!' the true Keru found himself in a black room, almost watching a screen of what he was doing, but had no control over any of it. 'Why.. DON'T DO IT KERU!!!! PLEASE!' He shouted at the screen.
'Why not. She is obviously human. You should want to kill all humans. They abandoned you, left you out on your own to die. She is our new target. It may enrage kale to the point of aural combustion anyway.' The instinctual Keru appeared.
'No! you are wrong! She is my friend! I don't care if she is human, angel, or cat! She is my friend!'
'You have hardly even known her. One day does not qualify.'
'If you are truly me, then you should feel how I fell about her! I feel somehow attracted to her, somehow... I feel like it's my job to prtect her...'
'You are a fool. Falling for a being like her. Especially with your being. It's pathetic.'
'Pathetic as it may be, it is my obligation.'
'humph. You are pathetic.' The other keru disapeared.
'WAIT!! GAH!' Keru yelled in despair.

~Despair~
"This is becoming so boring. Why can't the real keru just give up."

~Keru~
"GAH!" Blue eyes shown through the dogs once more. He was running towards the now human Appare. "Appare! Look out!" He jumped over herand landed awkwardly, falling over. Kale took advantage of the dogs being out of sorts and ran over to the demon dog. All that Keru could hear was cries of anguish, triumph, and his own head throbbing, his eyes flashing back and forth between red and blue.

Riki ripped through the ground coming in sight of the fight between Keru and Kale then looked at Appare. "She looks different somehow hmmm." Then something floating in air caught her sight "who is that guy?" Riki mumbled. "Hey who are you!" Riki yelled so he could hear from the distance. She could'nt jump up there because that would be leave the ground. "Come down here!" she yelled. Then she went to go help Apppare, but when she ran over there she saw their was something blocking her. " Keru nock out of it!" she yelled. Looking at the guy floating "what happened, did you do this?" She yelled with anger riseing up.

"Appare! Look out!" Appare, remembering the time some people were playing football who had said the same thing, ducked with her arms wrapped over her head and the back of her kneck. It was a good move, because suddenly ____________lbs of dog was flying over her. Appare stifled a shriek, instead making a nervous "MMMMMM!" The girl realized that by now, Kale would probably be rip roaring mad. And that would mean someone was gonna get hurt. Gritting her teeth, Appare full on tackled Kale. "Don't hurt him!" The knobbly armor dug into her, but she ignored it anyways.

The blows all seemed unreal to Kale as his senses began to snap into focus. Finding himself on the ground he stood and observed as Keru was on his side clearly having some sort of schizophrenic issue. Running to Keru Kale used him as a vault to get to Appare. Grabbing her roughly he slung her over his shoulder. "Silly girl", he muttered as he threw her away from the fighting. Turning on the now standing Keru, Kale Looked at him his mind full of possibilities of what he could still do to the dog. Sighing loudly Kale raised up his arms and black ribbons shot out of armor and lifted Keru several feet into the air. Looking at the dome Kale smiled. "This is quite pointless", He said casually, "I've already missed the second half of the second period. Which just so happens to be art. I love art". Still holding Keru in the air Kale looked up at the thrashing dog. "If this in any way interferes with me graduating I will kill you". He said watching as the ribbons bound him tighter.

~Keru~
The soul eater was lifting him off the ground. He was being gradually strangled, no doubt in an attempt to release the barrier of fire. But then Keru felt something odd. The ribbons were gradually strangling him, but that wasn't the pain he felt. He felt his energies leaving him, and the chains reappeared on his arms. His form was also changing back slowly.
"Kale, let go of me!" wait... Keru could speak on his own again! "Kale! Stop it or your energy-" But it was too late. A black coil went down the ribbons and surrounded the other demon. Suddenly vines shot out at the ribbons, cutting them and sending Keru into the ground unexpectedly, however being caught by plushy moss. "Thanks Riki. But Kale-" He looked over to Kale and saw that his aura too was trailing off towards the school as his had. But Riki's vines were to close to Kale now. The black coil traced itself back to Riki and did the same to her, her vines and fauna all wilting and withering. What the hell was happening? Then he looked over to the now on the ground Appare - the pain of the energy drain must've been startling, even to Kale. Keru tried to move over to them, but had not even the power to do that. "shit"

~Despair~
"Hah, stupid girl. You can see through the Hell flames? You think your vines could affect me anyway?" A menacing sound came from the school. "It seems HE is sensing the power. Sounds like he wants it. Perfect," the demon smiled and cackled. The energies here should be enough to power him enough for the regeneration to take place." Then something not even he expected happened. a black coil shot over from the school.
