"alright, it's the first day of the new term, so you should all know what to expect. The time has come to welcome the freshmeat...er, men. Freshmen. Now you should remember from you first year that we make a buddy system, for the freshmen to shadow an upperclassman and get a feel for the school. However, this year we must change a few things." A man in a cloak that was far too long for him addressed the students, with the exception of the freshmen, who waited in the freshmen hall. "Now, only those with any competence or brain function will be able to have a freshman shadow them. This is because o the incident last year with the hazing of three frehmen students who were forceful climb on top o the building and endure the demon crows. Incidents like this will not be forgiven, thus any students foun participation in freshman harassmement will be punished and or suspended. Now, those who receive my psychic letter in just a few moments will proceed to find their assigned freshman and proceed to gettheir schedule, daily planner, student identification, and find their room. Then proceed to your own classes as normal." the man finished. The beacon of his psychic wave penetrated the minds of those he spoke of, and off they went.

Kale listens to the man with little interrest. "yeah becauser I'm gonna help some pathetic freshman" He says under his breath. Kale stands up and levaes the room when the man is done talking. kale heads towards his locker not paying attention to his message whatsoever. A few kids were lingering in the hall blocking him. Without a moments hesitation Kale pushed them out of his way and continued to walk to his locker. "there is no way I'm going to help some freshman." He says arrtiving at his locker. He tries the combination four times before he gets it right. He pulls out his binder and a pen and heads to his first class.

"huh. A freshman. Guess I should help out. . Ashley Montgomery, eh? I wonder what kinda demon she is." Keru thought aloud as he wandered into the hall to find his freshman. It turned out to be harder than it seemed, considering that he only saw her picture for a few seconds. He wandered around a lot thinking he saw her but didn't or gettin distracted by the loud noises. This was not a place for a hell HOUND. "Its not really that I'm easily distracted... But, Why would they not send a picture of us to our freshman? Jeez, it doesn't take a genius to figure that out." Keru said with a shrug.

Appare poured the hot, steaming tea into the waiting mugs without spilling a drop. She smiled, happy to know her mother's teaching had actually come in handy. The neko looked at her new friends. "So, uh, I do this and I'll be protected from bullying?" One of them kept his eyes on the tea while the other answers after blowing the liquid a bit. "Yup, totally. Just do this and we'll make sure they don't pick on you or anything." Appare's smile widened, then faltered. "But... why are we doing this in the hallways?" The trio were huddled next to the end locker, effectively avoiding the tides of people. the one who was drinking his tea finally spoke up. "Well this way the staff won't notice-" His friend elbowed him. "We aren't supposed to be drinking tea... the staff is scared that the hotness will burn somebody, or sumthin." Appare gasped. "That's stupid! I drink tea all the time! I guess I'll just have to smuggle it in or something...."

Kale arrives at his class before he gets both feet in the door his teacher looks at him sternly. "What?" "You clearly didn't get your freshman so I expect you to go get them.". She says angrily. Kale looks at her angrily, "How the hell would you know I didn't get my..." Kale looks at the empty desks in the middle of the room. "Oh that's how..." He says sighing. Kale turns around and starts to walk through the halls. Pushing kids out of his way Kale notices some kids by the end of the hallway about to drink something. "Good a new girl, time for a welcome." He thinks to himself a dark smile forming on his face. Kale goes forward pushing more kids out of his way he pushes one of the kids into an open locker shutting it quickly. Kale turns towards the other boy and raises his eyebrow as he watches him back away. Kale looks at the girl. "You're going to answer the following questions quickly understood? What is your name? What grade are you in? And what is that awful stench?"

The swiveling of Appare's ears was the only warning she got before one of her friends got thrown voilently into a locker. She swirled around, wondeing who the heck could've done it. The angel-neko was momentarily fazed by the sight of the bully. He too, had white hair and yellow eyes. Appare opened her mouth to give him a piece of her mind when he scared away her other friend. In his haste to leave, the guy knocked over the teapot; spilling it's boiling-hot contents all over the floor. Appare telped in alarm when some of it splashed onto her leg. About to unleash a string of profanities Appare was stopped by the guy's random questions. "You're going to answer the following questions quickly understood? What is your name? What grade are you in? And what is that awful stench?"

Demons had often commented on her scent before. She furrowed her brow and replied as such. "My name is none of your business, my grade is none of your business, and the smell is you." Appare angerly threw open the locker door that held her friend captive. The guy crawled out patheticly, shaking and mumbling apologies before running off without looking back. "Great." Appare turned back to the bully. "What about you, huh? What's your name? Where do you live? What kind of shampoo do you use?" Then Appare whirled around to start waling to her first class, which she had no idea where it was, a raging aura surrounding her.

The girl furrowed her brow. "My name is none of your business, my grade is none of your business, and the smell is you." she said angrily. Kale turns around and looks at the crowd staring at them. He cracks the knuckles of his right hand and they start to walk again. "Yeah this girl is definitely new here." He thinks to himself. Very few people in the entire school had the nerve to talk back to him considering what he could do. Kale heard he start to to talk again so he turned back to face her. "What about you, huh? What's your name? Where do you live? What kind of shampoo do you use?" With that she began to storm off. Kale hated when people spoke to him rudely regardless of status or gender so before she got too far he walked up to her quickly and grabbed her wrist spinning her around forcefully. "I swear if your name is anything other than Appare Yokoshima I'm going to end your life." He said very coldly his grip on her wrist tightening.

How the heck did he know her name!? Her fear of stalkers forced her to act, yanking her wrist away. "How dare you touch me! And how do you know my name!?"

And how did he manage to scare off the crowd? She had been relying on all the people for her get away. "And what's with the attitude?! I've never done anything to you; you're the one who came and started throwing random people in lockers! Seriously, people like you make me sick. You have no right to judge me because of what species I am!" That could be the only explanation for his random attack, Appare was sure of it.

"Also; tip for the future. If you wanna ask somebody questions you should ask nicely next time. Suprisingly, 'please' works wonders on people!" Appare rolled her eyes atossed her hair for good measure. There. The jerk should get the picture now!

"The hell? The freshman will have to wait." Keru said as his fine tuned hearing picked up a struggle. He quickly disappeared into an aura of black and red.

"Also; tip for the future. If you wanna ask somebody questions you should ask nicely next time. Surprisingly, 'please' works wonders on people!" keru appeared as a girl flipped her hair at Kale. Kale was one of the most ruthless bullies in the school, but Keru knew him, at least by reputation, pretty well. That being said, he knew that Kale would not hold back against a new person to the school.
Keru put himself between the two. "That's quite enough!" Keru snarled. "That is no way to treat a girl, or an underclassmen," He uttered as his eyes grew to a deeper red.
Suddenly all the onlookers that were scared away by Kale's previous actions came back to the scene.

The girl pulled her hand free of Kale's grip. "How dare you touch me! And how do you know my name!?" I suppose that means she is Appare, she would be a perfect bitch though"" Kale thinks his temper rising. He returns his hand to his side. "And what's with the attitude?! I've never done anything to you; you're the one who came and started throwing random people in lockers! Seriously, people like you make me sick. You have no right to judge me because of what species I am!" "Wait she thinks I'm prejudiced against her race? That's rich that's just rich" He thinks a smile forming on his face. "Maybe if I just get her on the roof I won't have to worry about her." He thinks recalling when he put some other freshman on the roof last year for the crows. Kale opens his mouth to speak but is cut off by some male voice. "That's quite enough! Kale looks over to see the new face that would dare challenge his power. "That is no way to treat a girl, or an underclassmen," The boy said angrily. The thing Kale noticed about him the most was the way his eyes got darker.

Kale looks towards the girl a mock smile on his face. "I know your name because, how shall we put this? You are my shadow. You are to follow me and I am to show you the 'ropes'." The smile fades as he turns to the boy. "Now seeing how you appear to have been here for a while you know that you can't stop me." As he's saying this his eyes become solid black and with every breath mist comes out of his mouth. "So why don't you just walk away little boy... Or I'll eat your soul and leave you a empty shell." He takes a step toward the boy and a black aura seems to begin to emit from his body. "Just a fair warning I'll render your legs useless first then your arms," A cold smile crosses his face. "Then I'll stomp your head in and drain the rest."

"That's quite enough! That is no way to treat a girl, or an underclassmen," A boy pushed himself in between Appare and the jerk. Appare's eyes widened when she saw his eye's turn red. Not because she was scared, but the angelic neko really hated fights. And also, there was something about him... that smelled like dog. Appare instinctively hissed, her hair standing on end. She blinked, and immediately stopped. Yikes! That was close!

"I know your name because, how shall we put this? You are my shadow. You are to follow me and I am to show you the 'ropes'." The smile fades as he turns to the boy. "Now seeing how you appear to have been here for a while you know that you can't stop me." Now Appare's eyes narrowed. What a jerk! But also that was bad, becaused that same jerk was the only one who knew were her classes were. Appare mentally beat down her pride. She might as well get along with him. And who knows? Maybe even bullies have a nice side. She took a deep breath in when she saw his eyes turn completely black. No! There really was going to be a fight!

Appare stepped between the two. She knew how guys could get when their macho-ness was at stake. "Guys! Guys! Break it up! We aren't little kids on the playground! We are mature! Mah-tuuuure!"

"...and drain out the rest" Keru's face immediately darkened.
"And you have been here long enough to know that I won't back down, nor will I allow myself to be beaten by a soul-eating jerk-off" at this point his eyes were a deep purple and about to fade to black.
A voice came from Keru's mouth that was only remotely similar to his own. "I am the hell hound Cerberus. The gatekeeper to the gates of hell, and I will not permit your existence to continue for any longer! This is the day that your soul goes through the gates!"

"Seal.... This has gone on long enough." A female voice uttered as a blue light surrounded the boys. "you two of all people should know that fighting is not allowed without permission and inside the building."

Kale saw the boy's mouth moving but the echoing of the aura made it hard to hear. All he could really pick up was something about Cerberus and his soul, neither of which mattered to him. Once he was ready to unleash his favorite technique 'Black Leech' his powers seemed to fade and his aura diminished into into its regular point of energy. "you two of all people should know that fighting is not allowed without permission and inside the building." A feminine voice says disapprovingly. Kale's eyes return to normal as he continues to stare at the boy. "Just wait," He says bitterly, "I'll crush you and when I do your soul will receive no rest once I digest it." His eyes return to normal as he looks at the speaker. "My most humble apologies ma'am." He says his voice full of contempt. Kale looks at Appare "C'mon I'd hate to waste our precious (Whatever she is I need to know this) time." He begins to walk away not checking to see if she's following or not.

Appare recoiled, disturbed by the boy's show-off of demonic power. But most importantly, they had completely ignored her! Appare turned around when she noticed the lady. "Seal.... This has gone on long enough." A female voice uttered as a blue light surrounded the boys. "you two of all people should know that fighting is not allowed without permission and inside the building." Appare's face brightened. Finally someone was putting a stop to all this nonsense! Appare sucked in a breath when she heard the bully's threats on the red-haired boy. Jeez, she had to learn people's names.

"My most humble apologies ma'am." He says his voice full of contempt. She rolled her eyes. That's a joke. I bet he would die before saying sorry and meaning it. Then he looks at Appare "C'mon I'd hate to waste our precious time." "EH!?" The neko looks around in disbelief. He was just leaving!? "UH.... Thank you! Thank you!" She bowed to the other boy then the lady. "Erm, I'd like to doubly apologize on behalf of my... err... sponsor?"

Appare turned back and raced after her 'sponsor'. Yikes. I just met him and I'm already apologizing for his actions... great. Though Appare had to admit, the bully was really good at parting crowds. She felt the whispers and the stares of the other students directed at her. Although she only caught a couple, Appare got the general message.

"Oh jeez, who would hang out with him? He's so mean!"

"Wow, I feel really sorry for her..."

"Ha! Let's see what Kale does to this one!"

Kale.. so that's his name? But Appare didn't like the sound of 'let's see what he does to this one'. In an attempt to be friendly, Appare turned back to Kale. "So, uhm... Kale, right? Do you know what my class schedule is?"

Kale walked away from the scene his stomach whining at him for not feeding off the boy. After he had gone some ways from the large crowd only a few students remained in the halls ushered into classes by teachers. An extra set of footsteps confirms that the girl is following him. "So, uhm... Kale, right? Do you know what my class schedule is?" Kale whirls around and pushes Appare into a wall. He stares into her eyes for a few moments before he speaks. "Listen, like I said before you are going to answer my questions. Not the other way around." He sniffs the air a few times before stepping away from the girl. "Listen to me, I do not discriminate against races only age. My Name is Kale Cousland, you would do well to remember that. Should you anger me I will make you suffer the same fate that my last shadow suffered." Kale notices a spark of terror in her eyes. "Oh don't worry he's still alive... Sort of." With this Kale starts walking towards the main office. "If you want your schedule it's over in the office." He calls over his shoulder.

"kale... This will not be the last you hear of me. And you know that" the Cerberus thought to himself.
"I can hear your thoughts." the teacher that had just broken up the fight said aloud. "look, I'm glad that you're so chivalrous, but you know the policy on fights. I mean, it was your ancestor who set the rules up." the teacher guilted Keru.
"I know... But sometimes I wonder if his rules are necessary..." Keru said as he walked back to the hall.

"hey, sorry I'm late. There was a situation and..." Keru trailed off ad he noticed who was sitting in the corner. His aura flared slightly as he choked back a groan of disgust. The main problem was that the only vacant desk was right next to the soul eater and his shadow. Leave it to fate to have these three in the same class, and even putting Keru's shadow in another class.
"well, take a seat. There is only one spot, so it shouldn't be hard to find. And for taizzan fukuun's sake, this is a class on aura manipulation, please try to keep your aura to a minimum." /note, taizzan fukuun is an old name for the god of the underworld in japan/ the teacher scolded Keru monotonedly. Keru quickly went to his seat, making extra care to hit kale in the should with his messenger bag. He pulled out a notebook and scrapped something down on the first page he came to. He silently ripped it out and passed it to kales' shadow.

"I sensed your distaste with my breed of demon before, but don't worry, I dont bite, or chase cats. I was raised by Demons of light, or angel depending on who you talk to. I am not in on the customs of hating cats. Anyway, I'm sorry once again, and I hope that we can be friends. You don't have to write back. Just wanted to maybe make you feel more comfortable with me so close to you. ~Keru Berosu"

Appare stumbled back into a wall. What the heck!? She was trying to be nice, and he just pushes her into a wall!? Although highly unnerved by Kale's stare, Appare glared defiantly back. "Listen to me, I do not discriminate against races only age. My Name is Kale Cousland, you would do well to remember that. Should you anger me I will make you suffer the same fate that my last shadow suffered." Well that was new. Only ages, huh? Appare would believe it when she saw it. And as his last shadow suffered!? Appare recoiled. So he wasn't angry now!? He must have notice, because the bully added a "Don't worry he's still alive... sort of."

And then he turned around with orders to follow him to the office. Appare resisted the urge to smack him, only succeding because she knew violence wouldn't work against him. But her tail twitched menacingly, giving her away. Gritting her teeth, Appare followed him to the office where she got her schedual after a short wait. She noticed that even though others had been there longer, the secretary attended to Appare first. The neko gave credit to Kale, eyeing him appreciatively. Adding that to his list of usefullness....

Finally the duo, followed by stares and whispers, arrived at their first class. Something about aura? But soon after they sat down, the guy from before came in. And of course the only empty seat was next to them, thanks to Kale. appare looked down at suprise at the paper offered to her. She didn't normally pass notes, but what the heck? Why not. She slipped it into her book and read it there.

Appare's eyes widened in surprise. She had been expecting a threatening note, not a friendly one. Still not trusing it, Appare scribbled on the other side.

"Well then, Keru. I'm sorry for acting up, but that was just an instinctive responce. I'd be happy to be friends with you!
~Appare Yokoshima"

I guess there are some decent people out there. Appare shot an accusing look at Kale while she passed the note back to Keru.

After taking Appare to the office to get her stuff Kale lead her to her first class. "Of course the bastard that made the schedules would put me in the same class as her. He thinks bitterly pushing Appare into the seat next to him. Very few people in the class didn't make it obvious that they knew what he could do, at one point he even saw a glimmer of fear in his teacher's eyes. As he sat in class he looks out the window isolated from the world. He lets out light sigh and allows his mind to wander. feeling something hit him he turns his head and sees the boy from the hall walk by him. Not being able to resist himself he releases a small bit of his aura and tastes the boy's aura. A sly smile crosses his face as he returns his attention to the teacher. "I would love to devour that boy." He thinks as the teacher says something about restraint. His thoughts drift back to the moment in the hall with Appare when he pushed her against the wall. "That was way too easy. But what could you expect I am like one of the best looking guys in the school. I can take care of my own. looking up he notices the teacher is staring at him. "Yeah?" Kale asks yawning. "If you find my class so boring maybe you should leave. Kale shrugs and gathers his books standing up. "Sure." Walking towards the door he turns back towards the class. "C'mon shadow, do what you do stay at my heels." He says mockingly. Invoking a few snickers from students.

What!? He's actually leaving!? Appare stared up at him with disbelief as Kale picked up his books. When a teacher asks you to leave, your not supposed to actually do it! With a heavy heart, the neko had to admit she still depended on the jerk to get her from point A to point B. Appare sent a pleading look at the teacher, who carefully avoided her gaze. "C'mon shadow, do what you do stay at my heels." He says mockingly. Appare hissed in frustration, throwing her books violently into her bag, and kicking the chair under the table. The neko shot a death glare at the bully. Oh if looks could kill....

As soon as the duo left the room, Appare rounded on Kale, purposely getting up in his face. "What was that?! Just because you think education is boring, Kale Cousland, doesn't mean you can screw it up for me! And what are we gonna do now, hm!? Just sit around and talk for the rest of the period!? Because if you think I want to spend fifty minutes alone with you; you're kidding yourself!" Her tail thrashed voilently, and Appare's hair stood on end. "Ya, I realize that your some big hot shot bully around here, but I don't care! I honestly don't! And please realize that I'm not scared of you, Kale, not one bit! So don't even think about trying to get rid of me! Because I'm gonna 'do what I do to stay at your heels'!" To prove her point, Appare firmly hooked her arm around his. She guessed that, as a bully, Kale wasn't used to being touched by other students, unless it was a punch. "So lead on, oh great and mighty bully!"

As the two walked out, the teacher started raging. "Keru Berotsu! Go get them! Right now!!"
Keru blinked in disbelief, "Uhm... I'm not sure that ME retrieving them is such a good idea... We're not really onthe best-"
"ISAIDGOGETTHEM!!" The teacher yelled as her aura burst into visibility as a consuming blue flame.
"uh, right I'll go get them..." Keru thought about using magic to get out of the room, for the point of getting out of there as soon as he could, but he also didn't want the teacher's aura to literally start a fire.
Keru walked-almost ran- to the door, all the while hearing comments like, 'I though this was a class on aura control" referingto the teacher's previous remarks at Keru.

"kale, mrs. Watsman wants you back in her room asap. You as well, appare." As it turned out, he was mostly talking to Appare, as kale took little interest. "And appare, you don't literally have to follow him everywhere. If you disagree with something he's doing, then simply don't do it." Keru suddenly was very timid and started holding his hands behind his back.

(this should go in OOC, but my iPod doesn't like that page. Sorry I didn't post yesterday, I was at renaissance festival, and my family surprised me by staying at a hotel that didn't have free wifi. Oh, and the "prey, from that post was meant to be a "sorry". Stupid auto-correct.
The evil will be making it's influence soon, probably within the next few days, so those who want their character involved before it starts showing up, then I'd do so soon. a good link would be that kale and Keru and appare were taking too long, so the teacher sent so-and-so out. Or another teacher felt the aura, and they sent one of their students to check it out. Not saying you have to do this, just providing options. Again, sorry fo the wait, and that this isn't in the OoC.)

Riki watched as the teacher exploded in Keru's face with spit flying everywhere. She was glad she was not Keru or the people in the front of the class room. The teacher looked impatient and angry like she was holding all her anger in and waiting for someone to open the class room door so she can explode in there face Talk about anger issues Riki thought. Right then Riki saw the teachers eyes directly staring into hers "Ms. Mikon , GO BRING THEM BACK NOW!!!!! The girl froze for a second but then a rammed myself out the small door running down the hall in the direction she saw Keru go then in the middle of the hallway they where standing there looking to see what was coming. Riki stopped with a screech in front of them spilling out "You guys need to go back or the teacher going to bite all of your heads off!"

Keru turned to the girl who had nearly slammed into him, "She gets like this. Best thing is to let her rant and rave while we're gone. But thank you" Keru stared deep into Riki's eyes, and turned the flirtatious heart throb persona on, as he often did without him even knowing. His eyes faded to a light brown with burgundy tinge. "Is there anything else you need?" Keru asked in a soft voice, still with structure.
He felt Kale's eyes like daggers, as Keru was hated by most guys for this so called puppy personality. Let's just say that Keru never really understood why, but he did know that he didn't try to be such a flirt. It just kinda happened that way.

As soon as they left the classroom Appare turned on him. "What was that?! Just because you think education is boring, Kale Cousland, doesn't mean you can screw it up for me! Kale looked at her his eyes scanning her body. "Bully." he says softly. "Trust me, there are people out there much worse than me." He says. gradually pushing her against the wall. "I just know how to use my strength." Now against the wall he pushed himself against her. "Trust me. I'm one of the good guys." He says softly his mouth next to her ear. He looks down moving his mouth to hers he hears a door open. Turning his head sharply he sees the dog boy come out of the classroom. Kale didn't care what he wanted. Paying him no attention he returned his gaze on Appare. Breathing softly in her ear he took a step away releasing her arm from him. "50 minutes huh?" he asks a small grin on his face. "I know a place where no one would bother us and we could do that talking thing you mentioned." He says turning he walks away headed towards a staircase leading to the roof.

Hearing someone behind him he spit on the wall and continued walking. Stopping at his locker, the only used one in that row he unlocked it and took out an eight pack of 'Red Bull' as he slammed his locker shut he continued walking to the stairs.

Riki didn't know what was going on in her mind right now. Kale was leaveing when he was supposed to go back to the class room ,"Is there anything else you need?" What, Keru I think is he flirting with me?! Riki's face grew reder and reder as she stared into Keru's eyes till it was the color of scarlet. What do I do what do I do this will most likely end up everyone blameing me! "Hey you with the face!" She screamed at Kale, "Your not going anywhere but the classroom Okay!" What was I saying oh I'm so going to die! "Please." She said softey so she won't get as hurt.

Kale looked at her his eyes scanning her body. "Bully." he says softly. Softly!? He can say things softly!? This was new to Appare. So far she's only ever heard him make threats, taunts, and jibes. And also, Appare very much did not like the way he was looking at her.... Kale's goal of backing her into the wall was helped by her already backing away from him. "Trust me, there are people out there much worse than me." He says. Appare rolled her eyes. Yeah sure. Then suddenly there was no place left to back away. Her eyes widened. Her heart hammered out 'danger, danger'! And then Kale pressed himself against her.

Okaaaaay. Appare was scared now.

"Trust me. I'm one of the good guys." Sure he was. And that was why he was backing her into a wall like some kind of pervert. Appare mentally updated her list of things Kale does best.

You've sure got yourself some achievements there Kale.... Appare thought wryly. The neko saw Keru come out of the classroom. She suddenly realized what this probably looked like, and turned as red as the girl who followed him. Appare struggled to get away but the dang guy was to strong! He probably didn't even notice! Her struggles were stopped by the bully breathing in her ear like some kind of serial killer. Like from When a Stranger Calls and the killer always breaths creepily before talking into the phone.

Killer: "*Breaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaath* Have you checked... *Breaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaath* ...the childr-*Breaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaath* en....?"

Grinning to herself, Appare leaned into his ear until her lips were a centimeter away, breathing loudly. "Get away from me." Unfortunately, his lips were her at her ear and and her's were at his, so it kinda resulted in there cheeks getting mashed next to each other.

But it worked anyway, because he let her go. "50 minutes huh?" he asks a small grin on his face. Hm. So he went from someone who breathed enough to fill a blimp, to someone who could actually sound friendly. "I know a place where no one would bother us and we could do that talking thing you mentioned." He says turning he walks away headed towards a staircase leading to the roof.

What!? Appare just said she didn't want to hang out with him! But then again, she also told him to lead on. And Appare still relied on Kale to get her from place to place. She also had gotten used to his ability to clear crowds too, so he was needed. But wait. Kale was going up to the roof. Where the demon crows were. Appare could suddenly see the whole evil plot, and she was just about to step into it. The neko's face reddened with shame. She was actually starting to think Kale was friendly too! But the whole time.... She listened as the other girl called after him. For a second, Appare thought someone was actually standing up to the bully and that he might actually listen to her. But then she said please, and Appare knew there was little chance of either of the two happening. So Appare had to do something herself.



"YOU GET BACK HERE KALE COUSLAND!!!!!" Appare once again used his full name. Knowing that still wasn't going to happen, the neko marched right up to him. The neko turned to the girl. "Don't waste your breath. As soon as you say please, it's not gonna happen."

Thankfully Kale was already close to the wall, or she probably wouldn't be able to go through with her plan. Appare rushed right up to Kale, pinning him against the wall, and putting her palms flat on the wall on either side his face. She knew Kale could push her away easily, so it was his choice if he wanted to put up with her.

But first things first. Appare required revenge.

She stood on tiptoe and breathed very loudly in his ear, then backed away crossing her arms. "Okay Kale, that wasn't nice for you was that? You can't just run up and pin people to walls. It's creepy." Appare's hard look softened. "I am not following you to the roof. I know there are demon crows up there, and by the way I can probably handle them. I'm half cat half bird. Either way, peaceful or voilent, I can deal with crows."

In a last effort to be friendly, Appare once again hooked her arm around his. "I've never had a Redbull before, if you can believe that. So where do you want to go? Besides places that might kill me."
