Name: Evanne Luna Remmington
Role: Female 1
Age: Twenty Three
Occupation: Nurse
Likes: Nursing- She likes making people feel better. Evelyn- Her daughter who she named after her grandmother who passed away when Evanne was only six. New Comers- They helped her when she ran away from town. Now she wants to help them join. Noah Ripley- She's never afraid to be blunt with him but that sometimes leads to arguments. She has never hated him. She respects his opinion and his rule of the town. Friends- She gets a long with just about everyone but has no qualms about speaking her mind.
Dislikes: Rules- She hates to be told what to do, even if it comes from a friend. Male 2- She may have had a relationship with him at one point but that didn't mean she had to like him. She regrets being with him and being around him but she puts up with him. Rumors- She hates the lies that are told about her. It's no one's business but her own who she has or hasn't been with. It's no one's business who her child's father is. Dust- The town is too strict but she knows that the only way Evelyn will be able to survive is if she has the help of the town.
Fears: She's afraid that the father of her child will find out he is Evelyn's father and try to steal her away. She is terrified that one day she'll come back to the child center, for working parents, and her child will be gone.
Dreams: Evanne dreams of peace. She knows it's unlikely to happen but she wants everyone to get along. She had been shown such kindness when she was outside of Dust that she knows they should open their doors to the new comers. She dreams that one day Dust will welcome good people.
Personality: Evanne used to be such a quiet girl. She was more of an observer as she grew up but during her teens she started to speak out. Her parents were prominent in the town. She watched her father stand up for what was right and she mimicked him. She was always the girl who would stand up to the bullies. She didn't care if she got in fights with other kids or boys. She didn't mind getting hurt if it meant someone else was safe. Her mother was outraged by that. She thought she had raised a proper little girl. Evanne hated disappointing her mother but she knew she was going right by what her father taught.
As she grew older, Evanne grew more and more estranged from her mother. Her father started to lose his mind when she was only seventeen. She helped her mother with him but as a rule, Dust wanted to help children not elders. Her father was only forty five and yet still considered elder. He ran the general and even though she was focusing on being a nurse, she did her best to help her mother out at the store. She always felt like the motherly type- unlike how her mother was to her. There were always kids living with them so she got to know everyone very well. She liked taking care of others but she never dreamt of being a mother. She worries that she'll be just like her estranged mother. When she ran away from Dust, her mother disowned her. Now that she is back she can only go and see her father when her mother is at the General Store. The only way her mother will actually serve her when she's at the General Store is when she had her daughter in tow. Yes, she had to manipulate her mother to get the things she needed, even if she was paying for it, and was probably going to hell for it, but she would do anything for her daughter. Even make pleasantries with someone Evanne wants to choke on her own spit.
Background: Secrets. That's exactly what she was raised around so that's exactly what she knows how to keep. Evanne was always a daddy's girl. Her father doted on her while her mother kept her at arms length. Her father was one of the more wealthy people in town and very well respected. Growing up, her home was always full of people, whether it was one or two kids staying with them or someone important from the town. Evanne got a lot of privileges other kids didn't get but when a new orphan came to live with them for those weeks they were there, they got them as well. Her father's generosity was the building blocks of her morals. She could always get along with just about everyone except people who hurt others. She has a like hate relationship with Male 2. He can be so mean to people and then turn around and be so sweet to her. She got in a lot of fights with him growing up. She was always friends with his older brother, Noah Ripley. He was one person she could count on.
As she got older, Evanne wanted to do more with her life. Instead of working at the store full time, she studied nursing and finally became one. She was one of the youngest nurses working in town. She started dating Aaron Sullivan. He had stayed in her house a few times when they were younger. It was weird dating someone younger than her but they seemed to have such a connection that she didn't put too much thought in it. Still, there was Male 2 always making things complicated. But she completely stopped having a relationship with him after it was found that he was also with Female 4. She wasn't heart broken but she did find herself spending more time with Noah.
He treated her the way, others didn't. She was definitely her best friend. With her time divide between Aaron, Noah, and her two different jobs. With the declining mental state of her father, Evanne pushed her loved ones away. One day she couldn't take anymore and she packed a bag and left Dust. She didn't know if anyone would actually miss her. Most of the time her father didn't even remember who she was.
It wasn't long until she realized that she was pregnant. She met Ginny, her husband, and Rob shortly after leaving Dust. They helped her when she doubted anyone would. She came to think of them as friends. After having Evelyn, she realized it would be impossible to raise her without the help of the town. She told them about the town where she lived and then left to go back.
The rumors started the moment she arrived back. She kept her distance away from her friends. No matter how many times she is asked about Evelyn's father, Evanne evaded the subject. She doesn't want anyone to know the father. She works for everything she needs and doesn't like accepting handouts. She is proving she can raise her daughter on her own. The father of her child is not welcome in her daughter's life unless it's to be with Evanne. That's the only way he'll find out he's the true father.
