Description

Lee Jung-Sook

Image

Image Role: Troublemaker 2

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Crush: Does someone so perfect even exist?

Hidden Talent: Although he is already a known talent around the school for other things, his true talents lay with playing the piano, violin, and guitar. As far as instruments go, he’s a natural virtuoso.

Physical Description: He’s exactly 6 ft. tall and weighs around 150 lb. Both of his ears are pierced.

Personality: On the outside, Jung-Sook is the picture of perfection. He's a quiet guy, who has the looks and has the talent to make it big. He's a wonderful student and is often seen reading books. He has a radiant smile, a mesmerizing laugh, fluid, motions always made with intent. Beneath it all, he's a monster. Like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, his only close friend once described him. He loves to be in control of things and most of all, he loves to win. He loves to win mind games.

He'll get close to you, find your weaknesses, then use them against you. He likes to intimidate, it'll start with a sneer, a glare with the eyes, a whisper made to you in a dark hallway, like he knows all of your secrets. And he'll keep on pushing you and pushing you until you feel like you've been haunted. Until the sight of him makes your face turn pale, like you've just seen a ghost. Then, when you're completely paranoid, and you've become afraid of yourself, of your own insecurities, of your flaws he's brainwashed you into seeing, only then will he be satisfied that he's won. And then it's onto the next one...

History: Jung-Sook's noona was the most beautiful, perfect person who ever existed. She was always the complete opposite of Jung-Sook. He was a chubby child when he was younger. During elementary school, he was always teased because of his weight. He was teased for being stupid. He was teased because his family wasn't well off. His sister was always tiny and fragile. She was smart, she was talented, she was always shining brightly. When he'd come home, he'd often lock himself in his room to cry. There his sister found him. She took him with her to her friend's house, where she had been receiving piano lessons.

There he fell in love with the calming sound, as he watched his sister and her friend play and laugh in the music room, the sunlight behind them shining through the window, everything like slow motion in a movie, and his tears dried.

Then, in middle-school, Jung-Sook's world shattered, when his sister was found in their bathtub, her wrists streaked red, the water a pool of crimson. Teacher's at school said even she couldn't escape the hurtful words of her classmates...

As Jung-Sook grew older, his figure slimmed, he became more handsome. He began adamantly playing music, his parent's invested all that they had into his lessons and everyone soon learned that he was a natural. In school he shined brightly, he studied diligently. He was offered a small job as a teen model and accepted it, though he was still able to attend school at the time. On the outside, he became everything he was teased for not being. But on the inside, his heart was hard. He learned the only way to stay on top, the only way to keep yourself from breaking, was to beat everyone at their own game... Life is just a game...

Quirks/Extra: Partner in crime is Bang HyunRi.

So begins...

Lee Jung-Sook

Steady footsteps strode into the algebra classroom. Perhaps a little late, not completely unusual, he reached into his back pocket and pulled out a paper, but before he could even show it to the teacher, she waved a hand at him, telling him it was fine and to sit down. He nodded silently and continued walking, passing a row of students chatting idly.

Then he heard someone say...

"Jinsu, do you think that he's strange and if so, do you still like him?"

Pausing for a moment, a smirk crept across his face. Always worried about being accepted, he realized. You'll never last Luhan. He laughed under his breath and continued to his seat, in the middle of the row next to the window. Jung-Sook slid into his chair and sat his book bag beside him. He hadn't had time to go to his locker that morning. He then pulled out the paper that was in his pocket. Blank, as usual, yet again, the teacher never asked to see it, so what was the point in getting a legitimate pass, especially when you couldn't? He sighed, everyone was just so gullible, so naive. It was almost boring... almost.

Finally lifting his head up, JiEun blinked away the sleep. Not that he could get any with all the chatting going around anyways, rolling his shoulders back with a slight 'pop' he fixed his bangs seeing the seat in front of him empty. Blinking a few times curious to where his cousin went, he moved around in his seat seeing the familiar blonde mop of hair. Jinsu was currently talking to Hyo and Luhan, who he was sure Jinsu had a crush on. Luhan was cute, in a childish way. It was a bit odd on who Jinsu liked though, to him it seemed to be random. Then again he could never figure out girl's, and how they choose their crushes.

Taking out his Iphone, he played with the black bunny cover. Even bunny ears coming from the top. It had been a gift from a friend before they moved. Coming from his daze, JiEun made sure that his schedule was still in the bag only to find a few of his pencils missing. Not surprising though, he even managed to forget what class he has to go to. Making sure he still had his schedule, he started to play temple run. The sound of the clock clicking by was almost enough to drive him insane, when was the teacher going to do his job and, teach? Letting out a small yawn, JiEun heard footsteps only to see a tall male enter a little late. He seemed familiar, but JiEun couldn't place his finger on it. He was a lot better with faces than with names. He couldn't help but think how the man seemed so.....aloof. It was almost enough for JiEun to admire. He just seemed....untouchable in a way? Still though, an uneasy feeling came over him the more he seemed to stare, choosing to focus on the game instead.

LuHan

She smiled and shooke her head before saying,"Sorry but I can't find mine. But,LuHan always comes prepared." She said nudging LuHan's seat lightly with her foot.
Luhan jumped slightly before somewhat choking on his candy.
"Aish you scared me! Of course you can have one!" He smiled pulling out his bag full of his cute erasers. There was a giraffe, pandabear, cow, pig, horse and an elephant. He smiled and handed JinSu the piggy one.
"Here you go! You can keep it if you want!" He smiled cutely. He liked Jinsu she was a very sweet girl and very pretty. But Luhan being to totalt innocent and clueless one hadnt noticed her feelings. It made alot of people upset, when he was in middle school in america he lost two friends because of this. Both a girl and a guy liked him, but he didnt notice and eneded up hurting theri feelings. That was only on reason he allowed very few people close to him.

Next thing he new a pice of paper flew and hit him in the head, looking up from his backpack confused he saw a girl named YuRi smiling at him.
"Oh! Sorry Luhan-ah i was messing around with MiYun. Are you okay?" Luhans eyes went wide as he nodded quickly not wanting to be in contact reach of the girl. The two gigrls giggled and ruffled his hair, "You are so cute! Here is our numbers if you need anything." With that the two hurried back to their seats giggling. There was a a soft sigh of relife as he looked over his friends. He stuffed the girls' number in his back pack and yawned. He felt bad for having girls like him, they were all so brave taking chance to come talk to him when they know he wont speak back. They all were cute to luhan but non really made the true effort to talk to him, and get to know the real him. Luhan blushed at the thought of everyone getting to know hima dn him becoming popular. With a giggle he looked at JiEun who was playing on his phone.

"OMO!" he giggled softly before blushing even more red.
"JiEun-sshi, yo-..youre...phone case is cute.." he bowed slightly in his chair before averting all eye contact as he looked stright forward in his chair. He still felt a bit awkward talking to the boy. But he was trying so the two could be friends like they were.

Luhan looked up at the boy who entered. Of course the girls in the room had their hearts melted by the famouse Jung-Sook. Luhan winced at the sound of the boys name in his own head. he heard alot about the boy and how he treated some poeple. He was cruel....Though on the outside he was like a Roman god, absolutely gorguse! Luhan seen him use his good looks to get his way, and it made luhans blood boil. But of course, Luhan would never actually pay attintion because everyone knew luhan stayed away from people outside his group. Sighing he tore his eyes off the boy--finally relizing he was staring at the boy who sat down by the window. he looked at yeon with a huge smiled and handed Jisu and JiEun both lolipops and smiled brightly, completly happy with the peace.

Hyoyeon Sangre Lee

As Luhan choked on his candy, she was about to get out of her seat to give him the heimlich. But,she saw that he was ok she calmed down. She sat all the way back in her seat before almost getting hit in the head with a piece of paper but it went right past her and hit Luhan. Two girls walked up to him and started to flirt, like always Yeon just smirked and rolled her eyes as the girls spoke,"You are so cute! Here is our numbers if you need anything." The second they giggled and walked away,Yeon chuckled a little. God,girls could be really.....annoying when it came to cute guys. She rolled her eye again before starting on her new drawing. She kept to herself as she started to tap he foot on the ground in a fast beat.

A few moments later she could hear few girls start to sigh just as the one and only,Jung-Sook walked in to the room as if he was all high and mighty. She never was on good terms with him,not since he started to mess with Luhan. She scoffed, rolled her eyes and just watched as he sat in his seat. Gah! And I here I thought,I get a day off from this moron. Please, please don't let Bang here! She exaled and looked away, don't get me wrong. Just like almost every other girl in school she did have her feelings for him,but e was a jerk and she didn't go for jerks....no matter how cute they are. She finshed the last of her lollipop before getting up and throwing the plastic stick in the trash can. She returned her seat wit her two inch heels hitting the hard floor. She heard her phone go off with a mass text about some talent show. She didn't give it much thought before exiting out of it. She didn't want to be famous, she didn't need to be or at least that what she kept telling herself.

Lee Sang-Min

Sang-Min was taken aback when Sun Hi had linked their arms together. He rarely linked arms with anyone besides his cousin- usually when she would lead him to and ice cream shop or a pet store. Thinking that linking arms with her wasn't much of a big deal, he brushed it off and continued walking down the hall with her. He listened carefully to her story about her feelings towards his cousin and why they were rivals. After she finished explaining, he nodded his head as if he had experienced it as well (which he didn't). "Well, maybe if you're tired of the whole feud you two have, you could confront her and ask to be friends again. It breaks my heart seeing Mi Cha despise anyone." He didn't really like the fact that his dear cousin didn't like a certain someone 'cause he thought that everyone should just get along with each other.

After a few more minutes of walking, they had arrived at their first period class. He entered the room and grinned as he saw LuHan, Hyo, JiEun, and Jinsu. He waved excitedly at them with a bright smile. "Hey guys! I didn't you also had algebra with me. Now this school year is a lot less worse as I thought it'd be." He was there right on time to see that LuHan had gotten a few digits from the ladies. He jokingly wiggled his eyebrows at him before letting out a small chuckle. Sang-Min then realized that his arm was still linked to Sun Hi's and awkwardly unlinked them. "It was nice walking with you." He gave her a kind smile. He didn't want to seem rude. He just didn't want others to get the wrong idea and think that he betrayed his own cousin by being with a relationship with her arch nemesis. People these days make rumors up without even knowing their facts and he didn't want to be involved in any of those.
He looked around his circle of friends and noticed another guy that he hadn't seen earlier this morning. To be honest, Sang-Min thought that this guy was pretty handsome and was quite relieved that he was a few inches taller than him. He seemed familiar but Sang-Min wasn't sure if he's ever talked to him before. With a heart-warming smile, Sang-Min introduced himself once again. "Annyeong. Have we met before? I'm Sang-Min." Before Sang-Min could here the boy's reply, he saw the teacher looking at him expectedly from the corner of his eyes. He knew what he had to do. Sang-Min turned to her and greeted her with a small bow. He then turned back around and took his seat in the second row by the window. He often got in trouble in elementary school with teachers for never taking his seat in the beginning of class.

Thirsty, Sang-Min took a water bottle from his bag and chugged it all down. This probably wasn't the best idea because a few minutes after, he found himself needing to go to the restroom. He raised his hand and asked the teacher's permission to go to the men's bathroom and rushed out the door. After coming out of the boy's comfort room, he gave out a sigh of relief and took his sweet time heading to class. He was thinking about his plans after school and what they'd do at Jinsu's house. Thinking about their group of friends, he remembered that Mi Cha had a different class from him for first period. He wanted to know which classes they had together and decided to check where she was right now. After peeking inside four classrooms, he decided to check the gymnasium to see if she had P.E. or not.
He looked in the door's window and scanned the room for his cousin. Three seconds or so later, he finally spotted Mi Cha and waved at her through the door. He didn't even notice that there was another girl with her. Thinking that she didn't see him, he slightly opened one of the doors and stuck his upper body inside the room. "Mi Cha!"
"Yah!" Sang-Min heard a strict voice and turned to see the gym teacher pointing at him and coming his way. If he remembered, the teacher was still Coach Goo. Not wanting to get in trouble, he immediately closed the door and practically ran back to homeroom. Of course, with a few tachers telling him not that there was no running in the hallways.
Once he got back to the most dreadful subject of all time, he started panting and leaned on the door frame. Ready to go back in, he entered the class once again and nodded at the teacher as he slowly walked up to his chair. Exhausted, his head fell on the desk and he closed his eyes to catch his breath and relax for a while. The room suddenly got darker and a shadow loomed over his head. This didn't go unnoticed by the shaggy haired boy and looked up to see his teacher with her arms crossed.
"What took you so long?" She asked skeptically with an eyebrow raised. Sang-Min straightened himself and cleared his throat. "Umm.. I couldn't find the flush button." He was good at lying- which he's not very fond of- but was bad with excuses. The teacher gave him a little glare showing that she didn't believe him one bit, "You're off the hook this time. If I catch you fooling around in the hall you're going down to the office. I know you're not new to this school so I expect you to follow every single rule just like everybody else." With that, she turned around and strutted back to her desk. Sang-Min let out another sigh and lazily propped his head on his right hand on the desk, looking out the window. "I should've just said that I had to take a dump," he muttered lowly to himself.

Hyoyeon Sangre Lee

Before Jinsu walked away, she could tell something was wrong but she couldn't put her finger on it. ut,once she smiled at her and not Luhan, she knew. Awwww, someone's jelly. She smiled at her own thought as she smiled back and waved as she headed back to her seat. She felt kind of bad for the poor girl,I mean if the guy you liked was being flirted on by tw other girls how would you feel? She shook her head, knowing it wasn't her bussness anyway. As the class went on Yeon did her best to keep drawing and take good notes, seeing that her parents always check for good note from her. She wroter three pages of problems and how to get the answers to them. She really just wished that he day would hurry up,so that she could just go and relax. Once the bell rung, she sighed and looked up at the ceiling before saying,"Thank you." She looked at Luhan, with a smile.

She squated down and picked up her bag, slinging it over her shoulder. She grabbed her closed notebook and pencil and stuffed them both in her backpack before zipping up the top. She gigled, she always like the sound of a zipper zipping for some strange unknown reason. She looked at Jung-Sook,knowing he would probably have something smart to say to either her or Luhan or maybe even both of them."Maybe if he was nicer to people,he might actually have a girlfriend and more friends....not that I care or anything" Se could feel her cheeks turning pink as she looked back at her short friend.

She grabbed Luhan's hand and started to pull him to the door. "Come on Lu. We should get going." As they got in the hallway she let go of his hand and stopped at her locker just as something fell out on to the floor. She raised an eyebrow at Luhan before picking the mysterious paper up. She started to unfold until it was fully revealed. Her mouth dropped open as she looked at Luhan with her evil kind of smirk showing off her teeth. She showed him the paper as she started to think. "Look,a talent showcase and not just any talent show but, were you can win a deal with ICE entertainment. Come on, we have to. I mean you're a shoo in but me...this maybe just what I need to show my parents what I can do with out their help." She stopped for a minute to clear her throat and looked at him with her pleading green eyes.

"Please, not for your friend Yeon but for your sister,Yeon. Please, beside what do we have to lose?" She knew she was making good points and she knew exactly how to get Luhan to say yes. But,she never had to play mind tricks,he was such a good friend that he just did it anyway. She leaned on the lockers and just thought about the auditons, would the judges like the way she danced or would she look pathetic?

There was only thing she could do to find out,and that was to try.

Lee Jung-Sook

Jung-Sook’s face remained emotionless and he cleared his throat, not letting anyone in his class know that their glances in his direction and their whispers were making him uncomfortable. Sure, he normally liked attention, but that’s only when he knew what said attention was for. Ever since he was small, he hated it when others would keep things to themselves, it only left room for gossip, rumors, and trouble. People were vicious that way, that’s how Jung-Sook learned from the best, when it came to ruining others.

The rest of the class went off without a hitch. Jung-Sook answered all of the questions asked of him without pausing a beat, he had studied the other day, while sitting in the lobby of one of his jobs, until he had fallen asleep against the coffee table and had to be awoken by a secretary there.

When class was over, all of the students began to pile out. As he was grabbing his things, he noticed Hyoyeon looking at him and then saw her quickly turn her head away. He didn’t look away though. Why would he? It was a sign of weakness and fear. He picked his bookbag up and slung it over his right shoulder and headed out the door. Outside he overheard the same girl and Luhan speaking to each other. He quietly walked up behind Hyoyeon and looked over her shoulder at what she was holding.

“Talent showcase,” he read, quiet but loud enough for both of them to hear. He smiled, “Doesn’t that require talent?” Implying that the two of them had none.

Without saying anything else, he turned around and headed to his locker. He opened it up and began unpacking things out of his bag and grabbed his gym bag for his next class. When he shut his locker back, a boy was standing behind the door. His face was pale and he held a wad of cash in one hand. Jung-Sook looked back at him, unfazed. The money in his hand was held together by a rubber band, there was a note stuck to it that read, “Heard you might need this Dae-Young. Don’t waste my generosity.”

“What is this?” The boy asked him, he was obviously upset. Dae-Young, he spent all his time surrounded by a group of wannabe hipsters. He was always the loudest and most obnoxious, he was also, once, the richest of the group, and the only reason others stayed around him was because of said money.

Jung-Sook shrugged his shoulders and smiled, he laughed lightly. “Why that look Dae-Young? I don’t know what you’re talking about.” His eyes trailed back down to the money. “Wouldn’t you say whoever left you that was doing you a favor?”

“But no one is supposed to know!” His voice grew louder.

Jung-Sook blinked. “Know about what?”

The boy opened his mouth to say something else but closed it again.

Jung-Sook rolled his eyes. Enough of this. He leaned in closer to him, next to his face. “I’ll keep your secret Dae-Young, and all you have to do is play this little game with me.”

The boy stuttered. “Why? I’ve never done anything to you.”

Jung-Sook shrugged his shoulders again, “I’m just bored is all.” He then turned his back to the boy, "Don't expect that everyday though," he said, referring to the money, and continued on his way, his face content and happy.

Truth be told, Dae-Young was quickly pulling ahead of him in his class ranking. A little distraction and stress on his side would do Jung-Sook a lot of good, and Dae-Young squandering his family’s money on gambling and running them into debt gave him the perfect opportunity, but saying it was because he was bored wasn’t really a lie either. Speaking of bored, a thought crossed his mind and he pulled out his cell-phone. “Talent showcase?” He texted HyunRi, wondering if she had heard about it and if she was interested.

Bang HyunRi

HyunRi went through the gym class, sizing up decent effort for a passing grade and a "good job" from the ugly coach. As he praised her for her good free throws, HyunRi grinned and bowed saying thank you with a girly wink. Turning around though, she rolled her eyes, giving a nasty look to anyone who caught her. She managed to keep Mi Cha from seeing that side of her. The girl said she was new and HyunRi had no evidence to deny it. If she was new, the girl had no idea what she was capable of doing, especially in the aspect of getting into her business and staying there until her job was done. Mi Cha seemed innocent. The type of innocence her predator mind set just loved to play with. She also looked vulnerable, something she knew her partner would agree was fun to feed off of.

Slipping into the girls' locker room after the class, she moved like a slug changing her clothes. Her next period class was Algebra. Boring and uneventful she never really looked forward to it, though she was doing quite well in the class. Just as she was slipping on her blouse, her phone beeped a low tone, her message ringtone for her partner in all things disastrous, Jung Sook. Her blouse was still unbuttoned so she walked out of the changing stall and into the small pathway where her bag was stationed. A larger female with a small face, but wide hips was picking up her school bag to leave. Her body froze at the sight of HyunRi. Looking up to find the girl, HyunRi gave her a glare, not bothering to button her shirt that revealed her white bra underneath along with her flat belly. The larger female named Seosan kept her distance as if afraid the bully would bite her. HyunRi gave her a "What the hell are you looking at?" look with steely eyes. Seosan shuffled past HyunRi with her head bowed down. The girl whispered a rushed apology as the door shut behind her. HyunRi couldn't help but laugh. "You wish you were this gorgeous," she giggled to herself, opening up her text messages.

"Talent Showcase?" she asked herself. She quickly replied with, "I'll see. Cafe later? You owe me a milkshake, asshole." They had a love-hate relationship. She often attacked him to no avail and him to her. They were too different in the same to be underneath each other. HyunRi wasn't exactly sure how he felt about her, but she felt like he was her partner. He was one of the only people she trusted, even though he could turn it all around on her in a split second. She sent the message and shut her phone. Finishing up changing, she walked out of the gym as another set of students piled in for the next gym class which she knew Jung Sook was in. This class was a bit bigger than hers. She strolled past them and into the hallway. Seeing Jung Sook a little ways off making his way to the gym, she turned and gave him the middle finger, making sure he was looking dead at her, with a smug grin and a flirty wink. She knew a lot of girls had crushes on him and she often showed intimate affection towards him to make the girls squeal. It gave her pleasure. Walking in the opposite direction, she went into class, murderously staring down students as she went with a smile.

LuHan

Luhans mouth fell open as Jinsu walked away completely ignoring him. He stared at he dumbfounds totally confused. 'why is she mad at me?What did i do?' the boy narrowed his eyes at a random object and pouted. great, only barely into the day and he made a lot of people upset with him. Sighing he began to doodle new fashion ideas before getting bored and moving on to just drawing something random. Luhan felt no need to pay attention because he had Eidetic memory, seeing things once was enough for him. His skills made him a very smart student and teachers loved his skills. He ran a hand throughout his hair with a loud annoyed sigh, and jumped surprised when the bell rang.
"thank you" Luhan barely smiled at his friend before standing up shoving his things into his backpack and grabbing a piece of candy and shoved it in his mouth. Most would think he had lots of cavities due to all the candy he eats, but he had only had one his whole life. he makes sure to brush after every meal, and every nap.

Luhans eyes narrowed angerly as Yeon read the paper, just by that smirk he could tell what she was thinking of. He understood it would give her a chance to show her parents her amazing talent, but as the boys hands started to shake he looked at her biting his lip.
“Talent showcase, Doesn’t that require talent?” Luhan sucked in a deep breath as he head to all to familiar and cocky voice. Why did he have to be such an idiot?!
"Its not like you would now talent if in smacked you in the face, Noona has amazing talents." He mumbled madly, usually Luhan would just ignore it and fake a smile- but not when his friends were involved with mean harsh comments. Just because pretty faced boy, Jung-Sook, had great looks that made everyone stare dose not give him the right to hurt his friends. Shaking his head with a sigh he looked at Yeon with a worried look.
" I cant Noona~ I cant get up in front of people and i have no talent!" He lied nervously, allowing Jung-Sook's words to effect him. "You of all people know that, ask Jinsu-noona, Sang-Min Hyung or someone!" He pouted leaning on his locker rubbing his head. "You would be able to make it, you could show your parents your skills. You don't need me holding you back."

Hyoyeon Sangre Lee

As she looked at the paper and still daydreaming, she feels someone a little taller than her come behind her walk behind her. Sh thought maybe she has offically gone nuts until she heard the one voice that made her always scoff after they said something,Jung-Sook. “Talent showcase, Doesn’t that require talent?” Her mouth dropped open as she let out a shallow laugh. She just about to say something right as he walks away, she exhales deeply and rolls her eyes before looking back Luhan. "H-He's just an idiot and crazy." Gah,he gets under my skin sometimes!! Doesn't he have something beter to do!!! Her eye widen as Luhan spoke under his breath,"Its not like you would now talent if in smacked you in the face, Noona has amazing talents." She nudged him before speaking,"Keep it down,I want to surprise him, seeing he thinks he's so amazing and god like. Why not show him how two 'talentless' friends can beat him." She knew the could win,she was sure of it all they had to do is practice and focus. She looked up at the ceiling as her friend spoke again,You of all people know that, ask Jinsu-noona, Sang-Min Hyung or someone!,"You would be able to make it, you could show your parents your skills. You don't need me holding you back." She looked at him with sadden eyes, wishing he could be more confident in himself.

She put her hands on his shoulder and shook him alittle. "Look at me,you are amaing, why don't you see that? And if you're worried abut being in frnt of people, just go up there, close your eyes, and act like it's just you and the one person you like as if you're just rapping to her and no one else.Like,....I don't know....Jinsu.
She smirked,he was like her younger brother and she did pick on him but she did it out of love. She closed her locker and grabbed his arm, knowing they would have been late to their classes. Besides, you don't hold me back....gravity does. Nerd joke, look but seriously I gotta get to class, but if you don't sign up then neither do I." It was up to him,she was truly not going to do it with out him. She gave him a small smile before turning down the hall to her gym class.

As she walked in the locker room, she grabbed her bag that she have left from last class and slipped on her gym uniform. She ties the shoelaces on her favorite pair of sneakers she owned. She smiled at the awesome Micky Mouse on the side before heading into the gym,one minute before the bell rung. Grabbing her ipod before leaving she slipped one earbud in hr ears and slid her old red ipod touch in her short's pocket. She looked and saw they were playing basketball,as rolled her eyes as people asked her to be on her team. She rolled her eyes and just grabbed a basketball. She walked to the half way point and shot it in the basket. She smiled, she's always been good at sports it just, she wasn't obessed like the rest of her family who had begged her for years to play basketball. She always said,"Look, stop trying to change me into Kai!(Her older brother) It's no going to happen and if you want a daughter to play sports, adopt one and leave me alone!" Right before she stomped to her room and just cried either on the phone or to herself.

She sighed and just watched everyone else, she was thinking what she was going to do for the showcase. "Maybe I should try a hi hop number...no maybe I should do a ballet dance since that's my easiest type. No,I want a challenge." She said it quietly and t herself as she groaned quietly. This is impossible to chose! And this has to be perfect if i'm going to show my two judgemental, egotisic parents! But,all I have to do is focus and NO DISTRACTIONS! She nodded to herself just asshe almost got hit in the face with a bouncing basketball, good thinkshe has fast reflexes and caught it. A group of freshmen girls came up to her,"We are so sorry,we didn't mean to. Um,to make it up to you do you want to play with us?" She just smiled at the girls before shaking her head,"It's fine, and no thanks I don't really like to play any type of sport." She smiled at them sweetly before they walked away, talking quietly to each other, all she heard was,Who does she think she is?! She didn't mean to be rude but all she did was look at her phone and just started to listen to music, letting her mind go somewhere else as if she was completely alone. Just how she liked it.

Lee Jung-Sook

On the way to gym, Jung-Sook passed by none other than HyunRi, his partner in crime. She shot him the bird over her shoulder. He stuck his tongue out her, then winked back, playing along. Average day in the life of the dynamic duo.

Jung-Sook pulled his shirt down over his head and crammed his school clothes into his gym bag and jammed it into a locker. Before closing the door, he heard the beeping of his cell-phone, which was late at receiving texts, as usual. He pulled it out of the front pocket of the bag and crinkled his nose as he read the message. Milkshake
Why the hell do I owe her a milkshake?! He thought to himself. She always acted like he owed her something. He shook his head and he ran his hand through his hair. Then again, there was something entertaining about that. He chuckled. He decided to just stuff his phone into his pant's pocket and exited the changing room into the gym.

Though there were a lot of familiar faces there, there weren’t many that he normally associated with. He teamed up to play a game of two on two for half of the class with some guys he knew from homeroom, last year, but he didn’t say much of anything to them as they laughed and joked about old times.

When they finished their match, Jung-Sook walked over to the side of the gym where he sat his water bottle to take a break. He took a drink and lowered the bottle as he did, his eyes scanning over the others to see just how they were doing.

His eyes were drawn to a tall figure who stuck out among the others like a sore thumb. She stared absently off into somewhere, probably thinking about something (which he assumed might have been quite a difficult task). He noticed a basketball coming her way and was about to shout out, Hey stupid, you’re in the middle of the basketball court, remember, when she snapped to her senses and caught it.

Though he couldn’t listen to quite what they were saying, when they were done, by the expressions on the group of the freshman girls who were walking by him, he assumed they weren’t too happy. Even if they weren’t the ones who had a reason to be angry.

Who does she think she is?! He heard one of them fume.

Jung-Sook rolled his eyes. Something about it made him annoyed. It reminded him about how others used to talk behind his back before high school. Like everyone believed that if you didn’t see eye to eye with them on everything, you were less of a person.

Waiting for the girl to turn away from him, and for when Hyoyeon wasn’t looking, he tossed the basketball into the girl’s back, making her jump and arch at the impact. She turned around, rubbing her back as she did so, and hissed through her teeth. Jung-Sook held a hand up innocently to his mouth and moved it away, grimacing. “I’m so sorry,” he waved as he apologized, “my bad.” Instead of continuing being upset as Jung-Sook had hoped, the girl smiled and tossed the ball back to him, apparently happy to have his attention.

“It’s okay!” The girl shouted, then turned back around, continuing to giggle and talk with her friends.

He caught the ball and tucked it underneath his arm. Too bad, he would have been happier if she was upset about it. He was prepared to be scolded, and he would have felt more satisfied with what he had done. Now the girl would probably think he was just flirting with her or something. He then faced the goal and cleanly shot the basketball into the net.

Later in the day, after all of his classes were over, Jung-Sook waited in the Café, two milkshakes already sitting on the table in front of him. He absently played a game on his phone and every once in a while a scowl or a grin would momentarily slip onto his face as he typed away at the keys.

Bang HyunRi

HyunRi finished up her classes, serving minimal destruction on the students. None had any type of good story that made for a good set up and finish so she just let the day slip in front of her, waiting until it was over. Picking up her phone, she messaged Jung Sook that she would be late to the Cafe, but before sending it, she deleted it. "Let him wait," she giggled to herself and decided to slow down. She left her textbooks in her locker and picked up her mirror and make-up. She touched up her face, making sure that everything was still pretty. There was no use in beauty if one didn't plan to show it off. She made her way out of the school, having a little bounce in her step. Today wasn't that bad of a day. Her mother hadn't complained to her in the morning and she hadn't received any angry text messages for not feeding the birds or doing the dishes the night before. And nothing had upset her in school so much that it affected her mood. It was better than a usual day, plus she was going to get milkshakes.

Smiling, she made her way to the Cafe after taking the bus to the small shop where they always went. She saw Jung Sook through the window playing with his phone. HyunRi went inside and sat in the seat opposite of his. She sipped her drink, letting the cold liquid sit on her tongue, feeling the tingling chill, before drinking it entirely. She fished a Talent Showcase flyer from her bag, crossing her legs, and let it fall on the table between them. "What do you think?" she whispered sweetly. The only times she ever was sweet was around him. The day and the milkshakes were also contributing to her increasingly happy mood. "Are you joining?" She leaned back in her seat, letting her hair fall behind her, showing the fullness of her doll-like face.

Lee Jung-Sook

The Cafe was quiet with chatter, but Jung-Sook didn't pay much attention to it as he played his game. He hissed through his teeth as he died... again, and then leaned back in his chair annoyed. He finally looked at the time on his phone, then shoved it back into his pocket. Er, she was late. What was new? Perhaps any other friend would be worried about the hold up, but Jung-Sook knew HyunRi, and knew she could take care of herself. He looked out the window, waiting for the familiar face to pass by. Without him knowing it, the small girl had already slipped into the seat in front of him and was beginning to drink her milkshake. He didn't notice her presence until he heard her exhale after the first sip.

He crossed his arms over his chest and looked at her, waiting for her to speak but knowing it would be a little while because... Like always she drank it daintily at first, then inch by inch the liquid in the clear plastic cup began to go down as she drained it. Jung-Sook raised a brow. How could someone so tiny drink so much? She never acted like this around others at school, perhaps not wanting others to know that "the Bang HyunRi" loved anything. Including milkshakes. When she was done, she fished in her bag for something and slid it across the table...

"What do you think?"

She leaned back in her seat, mirroring him, letting her hair fall behind her revealing her baby-face. He smirked. He didn't know why she didn't let others see her as cute though. He found it kind of... well, cute. He picked up the flyer and turned it around in his hands.

"Are you joining?"

He sat the flyer back down. "I think I have a shot at this," he said confidently. And that was the truth. Not just because he was planning to rely on his looks or anything. He thought about it and he wanted to use his talent, his real talent. Something that was personal to him. Should he be nervous in front of others? No. Not when he was good and he knew it. But... "But, I don't know if my agency (his modeling agency) would be all gung-ho for it."

He looked back at HyunRi, the look he usually gave her when he was about to jump into something and he needed his friend by his side. If he was going to risk throwing away his "career" for this, he didn't want to go in alone.

Bang HyunRi

HyunRi raised an eyebrow at his concern. She looked up at the ceiling, letting her empty milkshake sit on the table unsteadily as if it were going to fall over. She made a small noise as it tilted to once side nearly falling all the way over to the floor. Her face perked in a silly smile as she made it stand straight. Her eyes landed back in his, holding a sort of walled affection. "I think I have a shot at this." She heard him say, her face keeping the same level of calm and lightness. She didn't doubt his words for a moment. People have called him mean or whatnot, but he was truly talented in music and no one could turn a blind eye on it.

"But, I don't know if my agency (his modeling agency) would be all gung-ho for it."

Her smile shrunk a little and her cheeks puffed out a bit. She pulled her chair closer to the table and leaned forward a bit making sure her hair didn't fall all the way down from behind her ear. "You do have a shot. And your agency shouldn't be holding you back." Her long hair dipped into her face and she used her forefinger to slide it behind her ear again. Twisting her waist, she hung her school bag, brightly pink, on the back of her chair. Then she leaned in again, frowning at her empty container. She really needed to work on savoring the taste because she normally just drank it in large sips making it disappear. She almost never got brain freezes. Jung-Sook's eyes melted away his tough steel gaze for a moment and revealed a familiar look that shimmered in his stare. Her small white hands reached over for his milkshake. Personally, she loved all things having to relate with ice cream, milkshakes, or smoothies. They represented the other side of her that many lived without seeing. "Besides, they would be even luckier to get a hot guy with a superstar reputation then just a hot guy." She shrugged.

Lifting the shake's straw to her lips, she looked to Jung Sook with a innocence that totally was not innocent knowing her reputation. "I'm in," she winked, taking the cold drink in sips once again. "I'm not sure which song to do though," her eyebrows furrowed. She slid the drink at the center of the table, signaling that she no longer wanted anymore. She did this often. HyunRi finished her drink quickly, took one sip of his, and gave it back. "I'm still going to be in, but I don't know what to audition for. I can't sing the best or dance either. I mean I would if they accepted composers. That's really my only skill," her eyes saddened. She wasn't lying completely. Her voice wasn't beautiful nor were her dancing skills top class, but she could write lyrics and create beats that the general public would find an attractive sound.
