"Well I ought to be getting back home, it was nice meeting you all for the short time I was here, I'm Odessa by the way" Odessa said, and She left following Nathanial out of the shop
"Do you believe her story?" Odessa asked Nathanial.
"God I need a shower" Nathanial said as he sniffed himself
"Yeah you do, I can smell you from here" Odessa teased. "I'll see ya around, I gotta go home and take a cat nap" She chuckled at her own silly pun as she usually does. She started to go back toward her apartment.

Leah carefully watched his expression and knew he didn't believe her, but what's worse is, she thought she saw a flicker of recognition in his eye. 'Shit. He figured it out' she thought. She listened to his next words carefully, measuring whether to flee or respond as a damsel. "Wrong place at the wrong time" she said with a nod. "I don't know what I would've done if I hadn't run into you and your friend back there" she said, keeping up the act for the human girl who seemed to be entirely silent through all of this. Leah shot him a look that said 'Don't...say...anything. I could wind up dead, or worse'. When he said that their meeting was over she didn't believe him, and she didn't like the idea of leaving and having the possibility of him following her. 'My head has one of the biggest bounties on it. Why would any hunter let that kind of bounty slide?' she thought. 'You've got to get out of here without making a scene. Get as far away from him as you can.'
"My name's Odessa" She called out while walking away "405-576-4942" She called out after her name in hopes he caught that.
As she walked home she began to feel creeped out because the street lights were out for the next 3 blocks. She went behind a car and shifted to cat form and ran the rest of the way home. She climbed up the fire escape and climbed into her window and then shifted back.
"What a crazy night" She said to herself and she turned her TV on to watch the local news and drift to sleep.
Leah slinked out of the coffee shop and into the night. She heard Nathaniel and Odessa's departing words and stepped lively in the other direction. 'Don't get caught. Just keep walking.' she thought. When she looked back up another dark figure was in front of her. "You have GOT to be kidding me" she yelled. The figure seemed puzzled by her reaction but kept an eerie smile on it's face none the less. Before it could move or speak, Leah kicked its legs out from underneath it, pressed her foot on it's throat, pulled an enchanted dagger out of her belt loop, and struck the being in the chest. It almost instantly disintegrated, and she wiped the blade off on her shirt. Then she remembered to heal the wound on her face. Restoring it to it's natural beauty.
Leah felt eyes on her and she turned around to see the hunter watching her every move. 'Way to lay low Aaliyah' she thought. "Thanks" she bowed. "I knew you figured it out" she said softly. Her voice had a very whimsical quality and it entranced almost every man she encountered, but hunters were different. Just as she was thinking up escape strategies he told her not to run. She narrowed her eyes at his "I won't hurt you" comment. "I find that to be a very cliche statement. I've heard it WAY too many times for me to believe it. ESPECIALLY from a hunter" she said simply. She ignored the comment on her beauty. "Let's get down to it. You know who I am. You know how big the bounty is for my head. What is your motive for NOT taking me in?" she said, keeping a safe distance from him.

Upon sweeping near the window Willa noticed a man wandering across the street, gulping down the bottle that rested in his hands. She waved him off as another drunk - granted he was much better looking than most - and continued sweeping.

Leah was getting sick of the comments that were meant to belittle her. "First off, stop treating me like some woman you're ogling from across the bar. Not all women find that attractive, I especially don't. It's just making me dislike you even more" she said bluntly. The way he said "start convincing me" made her mind skim through a million things. What exactly did he want? "That didn't answer my question" she said stubbornly. "What...Is your motive...for not taking me in" she said again, much slower this time. 'For an intelligent hunter he seems to be an idiot when talking to women' "I shall do no convincing until you tell me what I want to know."

Odessa woke up startled in a cold sweat from a nightmare like she does many nights. She looked at the clock. It was 4:00 AM. Odessa got up and got out some paint things and began to paint her dream. It wasn't long until Blacks and dark blue figures covered the little canvas and her dreams had come to life. Odessa sighed. She knew there would be no more sleep tonight, so she began to paint again. She painted Nathanial's portrait almost perfectly. She smiled at her art, then threw it in a pile of used canvases. When Odessa can't sleep she paints, She would make clay things except that She doesn't own a pottery wheel. So as part of her pay check at her job her boss allows her one hour after her shift to create what she wants. Odessa got up and went to the shower and took a quick shower, thinking about the past night's events.

Leah rolled her eyes when he said he meant no offense. It also annoyed her that he spoke slowly to her. SHE wasn't the one who was understanding. It was him. "I haven't used my charm on you, there's no way that you just happened to like me. It's ESPECIALLY sketchy that if you brought me in, you could quit hunting and live the life of luxury but you choose not to. Do you see my reason to distrust you? I've done nothing but run from your kind since I was born." she huffed. "What else do you need to know? I'm a hybrid. Half angel half elf. Since there's a bounty out on my head you must also know the abilities I possess. Healing, Charm, and Empathy. None of which, as you know, I can defend myself with. Though I can charm the pants off of almost every human I meet. So what, pray tell, do you need me to convince you of?"

"No a guy can't like me if I don't use magic." she said plainly. "I'm glad my personality pleases you oh great hunter" she said sarcastically. She didn't flinch as he shot an arrow past her head. It was at that moment that she knew he wasn't a danger to her. "I will not apologize for what I said if that's what you're insinuating, but I can appreciate the fact that you're so committed to what you do." it was her turn to be angry. "Bad people huh? My mother was killed by demons, but my father? He was killed by a hunter. Why? Because of me. If hunters just hunt the 'bad people' as you say, my father wouldn't be dead right now." she yanked the arrow out of the wall with an impressive force and threw it at his feet.

Willa realized she was now staring, shaking her head and setting his espresso on the counter. "Two dollars and five cents," she said with a polite smile. "Anything else?" Just as she asked, Willa realized her broom was gone. She furrowed her eyebrows, glancing around the coffee shop, spotting it on the other side of the room. She tilted her head, glaring at the broom, then the man. No way he moved it, she thought, he looks like he's too drunk to even move himself. Willa discarded the thought, convincing herself she had set the broom on the other side of the shop before coming to the cash register. She looked back up at the man, waiting for a reply.
