Alviss Henry Vicstork's Story

Trinity clenched her jaw as the purple-haired guy spoke, and a chill went down her spine at the mention of even more people in the hotel. But what other choice did she have? This was the only way out, and she needed to get out of here and back to her car as soon as possible. She thought of her vehicle, out in the open, abandoned on the empty streets. She thought of the food, the ammo, the supplies that were left behind in the trunk, too much for her to carry along with her. If some thief were to happen by her car ... all that work she'd done over a long period of time to accumulate her supplies, all of it would be taken away just like that. And the longer she was standing here, the greater the risk that something like that could happen.
"What's there to talk about?" Trinity asked the male through clenched teeth. Being as stubborn as she was, she continued to hold her gun in front of her, but her hands were noticably trembling now. "Look, I really don't need this right now. I just need you guys to let me by, simple as that. As long as that happens, no one needs to get hurt." she kept her voice steady though her hands were shaking so violently, it was amazing she was still able to hold on to her gun.

Kayla sighed and nudged Alviss softly. "Al, stop being so rude... She obviously means no harm," she smiled softly. "Hi there, I'm Kayla, or Kay. This is Alviss, Tyler, and the others names I haven't caught yet." She tilted her head softly to the side. "You're shaking pretty bad, Hun. Are you alright?" She had always had a kind spirit and hated to see people in pain, that's why she was having such a hard time killing the dead until Alviss came along and reassured her that it would put them at rest if she killed them.

Tyler turned at the new brunette who appeared out of the shadows. He watched as Alviss spoke to her, then the blonde girl, and last Kayla. "Easy, guys. She's scared, and low on gas. By the looks of it, she couldn't shoot that pistol straight because of how bad her hands are shaking. Back off," he said, directing the last sentence to the blonde. "Alviss is right, it's five on one. Just tell us why you need the gas and I'm sure we could work out something."

Trinity's eyes darted between each of the five individuals standing in front of her as she tightened her grip on her gun, trying to hide the fact that she was shaking so much. But based off the blonde girls whole harmless and freaked out comment, she figured it was pretty obvious to all of them now. She bit down hard on her lip, resenting how weak she appeared.
"So, can I come over there and tell you something, or you gonna shoot me?" asked the younger looking blonde, as she walked towards Trinity, taking out a machete. At the sight of the weapon, Trinity's eyes went even wider than they already were. She readjusted the grip on her pistol and took a deep breath, "That might not be a good idea." she said, still managing to keep her voice surprisingly calm. Then she noticed the look that the blonde gave her, it was almost as if she was trying to communicate to Trinity that she had no intention of harming her. Before Trinity could make another move, she heard another girl speak up.
"Al, stop being so rude... She obviously means no harm," The girl speaking gave Trinity a smile that, even for just a moment, made her slightly less fearful for her life, though she still kept the girl with the machete in her line of focus with her gun still aimed in her direction. The girl introduced herself as Kayla and then introduced the male with the purple hair as Alvis, and a dark haired guy standing there as Tyler. Then the girl pointed out how badly she was shaking and asked Trinity if she was alright.
"I'm fi-" Before she could finish her response, the black haired guy, Tyler, spoke up.
"Easy, guys. She's scared, and low on gas. By the looks of it, she couldn't shoot that pistol straight because of how bad her hands are shaking. Back off,"
Again, Trinity bit down on her lip, cursing in her head for getting herself into this situation. She just hated how vulnerable she felt, and really, she was extremely vulnerable at this moment, much more than she was comfortable with.
"Alviss is right, it's five on one. Just tell us why you need the gas and I'm sure we could work out something." Tyler said. Trinit cast an anxious glance back at the blonde, and figured that she was safe now. Letting out a deep breath, she nodded and slowly lowered her gun, sliding it back into its holster, and then put her empty hands into the air beside her, to emphasize the fact that she was surrendering. After all, there was never any hope she could have taken on all of them.
Staring back at Tyler, she answered, "Isn't it obvious? I need the gas for my car, it's run completely dry." she raised an eyebrow, at his mention of working out an arrangement, "What do you have in mind?"

"Well, what I had in mind was that you take my truck. I found it nearby, and it's got plenty of gas. But you give us our gas back. If you want, you can fill up our cars, and keep your can. How does that sound to everyone else?" Tyler asked the group.

Alviss gave a grin "Oh, when did me and Kay's supplies become 'ours'?" he popped his gum. He was still smiling.
"I was thinking along the lines of, bring the cars in to the parking lot. You guys help me and Kay killing the leftover Zombies on the top two floors, and then we hand out a few things you guys might need and everyone is happy. I can even give everyone a whole pack of gum," he said then burst another bubble. "We can even have a little bread together as dinner. That sound all right to you Kay?" he asked Kayla since she had equal authority as him over their supplies. Plus Al wasn't the type of person to be cruel he did want everyone to be happy at the end of the day(including himself).

Kayla looked over to Ashley. She was beginning to get on her last nerve. "Listen, Princess," she walked over to her and stared her in the eyes. Her voice had changed a bit, it was slightly threatening and louder. "You have no right to just bitch about everyone.Especially since you just got here... I don't think you're immortal, are you? No. You aren't. The real world is gone, Dead! So, if you want to stay here and be a part of this group, cut the bitchy, mocking attitude, before I FUCKING SEND A BULLET STRAIGHT THROUGH YOUR SKULL!" She breathed heavily before widening her eyes and walking away, sitting a couple hundred feet into the parking garage, facing away from the group.

Alviss placed his hand on Kayla's shoulder. The look he gave her was soft and kind it said 'calm down' "It's not worth this," said Alviss. He whispered into her ear so softly no one else could hear.
"We all deal with what has happened to us in this world in our own way. This is probably her way of being strong," he said. He pulled away his face sad. he thought of his sister. Thinking back to that night.
"anyway," he said turning back to the others now smiling. "Do you guys agree with my proposal?" he asked.

Tyler thought about Al's idea. True, it had been selfish to suddenly call all of the supplies 'ours', but he would hate to be on his own again. He'd already had a few close calls by himself, and would prefer it if someone else was there. Regardless, Alviss had offered to give them some supplies in return for a little help. Maybe even give everyone an actual place to stay for a night. With the way the walkers would be heading for the hotel because of all the shooting, Tyler hoped he would have a place to stay.

"I'm in. Shooting zombies for supplies doesn't sound too bad. We can discuss the finer details later."

Kayla smiled softly. She slowly walked back to the group, scratching her head lightly. She looked over to Ashley, her eyes somewhat saying she was sorry.
She turned her attention to Tyler. "Like I told you before, the whole top two floors are just infested with them." She smiled softly.
She snatched the pack of gum from Al's back pocket and popped a piece into her mouth, tossing the pack back to him.

Kayla sighed and hid her eyes under hair. This is how she hid when she was younger, so one could see the guilt in her eyes... She clenched her fists softly, making a small pop with her gum. Before long she grabbed Ashley by the arm, but extremely gently. Her face still hidden. She pulled her until they were a good ways into the parking garage. "I-I'm sorry...." Her voice was distant, yet again. "I... Just didn't like.... How you just... came up to our group... and acted like you were... the boss..."

"Don't worry about it. I just pad locked the fence. I also added a new chain for good measure," said Alviss. ", but I do suggest going to the kitchen for now. We can have dinner, then talk about maybe some finer parts in our arrangements. Follow me to the kitchen, and Ashley don't freak when you hear a noise or see something move," he said slightly grinning thinking back to the hallway.

Trinity folded her arms over her chest in distaste as she glared after the blonde girl. She nearly opened her mouth to protest, but decided against it. If she ever wanted to get out of here, she needed to negotiate with this group peacefully.
She mulled over Tyler's idea in her head. It wasn't so bad, really. If she took the truck, she could just drive it back to where her own vehicle was, which would be a lot quicker than walking and help make up for the time she'd lost already. Then she could either have the option to keep with the truck and move the supplies from her car into there, or she could transfer the gas from the truck into her car and keep using her car.
Then Alviss chimed in and came up with an idea of his own. It sounded like a pretty good plan to Trinity, not only would she be able to have a safe place to stay for the night once all the undead were cleared out, but she'd get a chance to show this group she wasn't completely incompetent. But she was still hated the thought of her car, her supplies, lying out in the open road, just waiting to be snatched up by some bandito. She opened her mouth to speak, when Kayla suddenly started yelling. She was shocked as she heard Kayla give the blonde a piece of her mind. Not that she didn't believe Kayla's outburst was completely justified, because in her opinion, it was, but she didn't think Kayla seemed like the type. She gave off the impression of being so meek and soft-spoken.
She stood there quietly, waiting, impatience written all over her face. Finally, Alviss asked the group if they agreed with his proposal. Everyone seemed to agree with the idea. When Kayla pulled the blonde away from the group to talk with her privately, Trinity spoke to Alviss, "Look, this is a great idea, don't get me wrong, but in case you couldn't tell... I'm a little uneasy about my car being left out in the open, just begging to be looted. All my clothes, supplies are in there... I just need the gas to drive my car back here, where it's safer from raiders," she took a deep breath, then continued, "And I can make it up to you. I have a decent amount of ammo and food stockpiled in my trunk. Not much, but significant enough. I can give some in return for your group letting me use your gas... and for giving me a place to stay the night, once those things are cleared out anyways. Sound fair?" she looked back at him intently as she awaited a response.

Alviss was about to go to the kitchen, but Trinity got his attention. "I'll go with you to be on the safe side, not that I don't think your tough. Anyone who's survived this world over the last two years is definitely tough. We'll take the Churchill. Kay, please take good care of our guests I wouldn't want to find any one dead when I get back," said Alviss jokingly.
Alviss pulled out his keys taking off the one for the padlock, chain and Churchill. He handed the rest of the keys to kayla "I'll be back soon," he siad softly.
"Come on," he said to Trinity showing her to the Churchill. He unlocked her door then went to the driver side and got in.
It was weird how he was able to take people so easily. He thought he would have had a harder time after only speaking to Kayla for the last two years.

Kay seemed beside herself at the thought of her out burst. She had never ever done anything close to that in her life. In her Primary and Elementary years of life, she had always had Al there to protect her. And when she got to Highschool, she didn't need protection. She was top of her class, miss popular. But after the disease began to spread, she became vulnerable again.
She snapped back into reality. She smiled, looking back over to Ashley. She looked down with guilt and sighed.

"My name's Alviss, just call me Al" then he popped another bubble. He and Trinity remained silent for the rest of the ride to Trinity's car. When they arrived at the destination, Alviss cut the engine and looke around for a minute. All was still and quiet. "Let's get that gas into your car and get back to the hotel," he said.
Alviss grabbed his broom stick he had put in the back seat and stepped out of the car. He took a few steps then suddenly a Zombie came sprinting from the alley way right at him. Alviss simply stood his ground till the Zombie was in range of his broom. Al sent the pointy end right into the Zombies mouth, piercing up through its brain. Then he kicked the Zombie off his broom.
"Let's do the as quick as possible," he said pulling the gas can out of the back seat.
"Which car is yours?" he asked Trinity. There were only three where they were, but it wasn't like he was psychic.
Alviss looked all around himself worried for any more runners. They weren't the most common since most Zombies walked slowly, but one could never be too careful.
