Introduction
Long, long ago, thirteen deities came into existence. No one knows how they came into being, just that they always had existed, and that they were: Tonare, the God of Chaos; Uminous, the Goddess of Order; Samsara, the God of Rebirth; Kadea, the Goddess of Wisdom and Princess of the Gods, Phumahn, God of Ignorance, Photos and Zophos, the Twin Goddesses of Good and Evil; Infinale and Eternale, the Twin Gods of Space and Time; Simpatha, the Goddess of Emotion; Alexia, the Goddess of Power and Queen of the Gods; Terrabello, the God of The Beginning; and finally, Muertenero, the God of The End, and King of the Gods.
Since the beginning of time, some deities have competed for power and influence, while others have remained on their own, merely controlling their areas. After helping to create the world, Terrabello vanished from humanity, alongside Infinale, Eternale, and Alexia. Simpatha remained in close proximity to humanity, playing their hearts and emotions at a whim while Kadea and Phumahn played a silent game of fiddling with the knowledge people could achieve.
Tonare and Uminous competed and vied with one another for the world to shift in their favor: Tonare wanting nothing more than power for himself and utter chaos; while Uminous combated him to preserve order and peace. All the while, Samsara sat on the sidelines of this epic, never-ending clash, plotting and waiting for his time to step in.
Samsara was not an evil god, nor was he a malevolent one; but was immersed in his own desire: to destroy the world and create it anew to his liking. This was the one thing that he focused on, twisting his mind on how to easily eliminate them, so that his path might be unobstructed.
Photos and Zophos, the Goddesses of Good and Evil, held a terrible, dual-sided power --but it was an eternally conflicting power, being the total opposite of each other-- and the pair was sealed away after the world fell into chaos and ruin at their hands. As a result the world was split into three realms; the original world, surrounded by the opposing realms of light and dark; and the twins were sealed between those realms, in a cage formed by the world's ever-flowing mana. This cage was held together by links between the realms; located in identical places in each realm; but the people of each realm never knew this.
Muertenero, the God of The End, had only shown himself once, when Photos and Zophos were sealed away. Being the God of The End Muertebello does not show himself unless the fate of the worlds hangs by but a thread, it being his decision when the final day shall come.
Time went on: Simpatha, Kadea, and Phumahn played with humanity, while Tonare and Uminous continued their eternal, never-shifting struggle for power. Samsara sat and watched idly, with Photos and Zophos remained sealed, while Terrabello, Infinale, Eternale, Alexia, and Muertenero remained as non-existent as a shadow of the sun.
...That is... Until one day.
Suddenly, in a simultaneous moment, Tonare and Uminous realized why neither of them could win: there were immortal and equal in power --their struggle would never end-- but if they could imbue their power upon something or someone of the mortal world, they could become the dominant power among mortals, instead of silently fighting the other.
Both Tonare and Uminous imbued their powers upon warriors that they'd deemed the most powerful, and with a mindset that fit their goals. These warriors were among the greatest in power, with the brightest souls and strongest mind.
Tonare, in his chaotic ways and with the twisting, running will of the Wind, blessed with all of his strength and his power to a warrior named "Sky", who with the gleaming edge of his large sword was unmatched in strength and resolve
.
Uminous, with her gentle, flowing mind and a will that took the shape of any situation presented before her, blessed with the loving embrace of her power the one named "Kiehl", who with his sharp mind, quick feet and agile body was unmatched in skill or speed.
Unknown to Tonare or Uminous, Samsara waited, watching and examining them as they made their choices
"How pathetic," he thought "They chose beings so weak."
And so, with his flaming rage, and his eternal spirit, cast the fiery grip of his power upon a warrior named "Caelyn", who with her quick wit was able to think on her feet and remain calm in the face of any obstacle.
Having chosen their champions, Tonare, Uminous, and Samsara gave --in secret-- the relics that contained their power:
Tonare blessed the ambitious and relentless Sky with his own godly weapon, a sword with his typhoon-raising power; with each swing generating fierce winds and swirling funnels of wind; making it The Sword of Storms.
Uminous blessed the lithe and dexterous Kiehl with her protective robes, the deep sapphire fabtic granting the wearer with the untouchable form of water; The Robe of the Flowing River.
Samsara blessed bold and innovative Caelyn with his great, flaming gauntlets, their infernal steel transforming their wielder's arms into flaming pillars of power and might: The Hellfire Fists.
With their three champions having been chosen and their equipment being conferred upon them; each of the deities sent their chosen warrior to the Sacred Lands of Alta-Zerim.
This land was known as the center-land of the world; dense with mana, and overflowing with the power of all things living. It was a fitting place for the final battle between Tonare and Uminous.
However, Caelyn, Samsara's chosen warrior, was already there waiting for them; eyes illuminated with the crimson of Samsara's desire.
"It's time for both of you to bow before my power as I claim my rightful place... My rightful place above all others!" This was all that Samsara's host had said, before the trio of champions began a fierce and grueling battle.
Haven been offended, Tonare, Uminous and their champions fought together as a team against the awesome might of Samsara and his champion; but with his ambition, Tonare was an underhanded foe, and after he and Uminous fended of Samsara, he instantly turned and with Sky as his body, landed a devastating blow upon Uminous, with Kiehl as her host.
Uminous was left unconscious for a deal of time as gale and flame ravaged the world. Eventually, the trail of destruction raged into the bowels of a grand, ominous, pure white temple that sat upon the flat plains of the center plateau of the world. Uminous awoke, and followed the destruction into those dark depths of that immaculate shrine.
The destruction and ravaging powers churned and spiraled about in a center chamber, low in the darkest depths of the temple; the three champions and their deities destroying all that they walked over: Sky tearing the dark stone walls with shrieking storm winds, Kiehl dodging and striking back with his impossible speed --made even faster by the power of the Goddess that he sided with-- his gleaming sword cutting at both Tonare and Samsara; Caelyn burning all in sight, and illuminating the blackest shadows of the deep.
Caelyn managed to knock Kiehl to the floor, and with one mighty blow, slammed a clenched fist into the ground, but Kiehl rolled out of the way, and with the power of the robes, and his speed, evaded the flames that erupted from the ground. The strike split the very foundation of the temple itself, and magma spewed forth, swirling about Caelyn's form as the temple began to crumble...
With a loud, thundering pulse, the images of the temple's depths faded away before Sky, Kiehl and Caelyn, as a swirl of white and black... A tremor shook the bodies of the champions, as two-pair of eyes opened to look at them; one pair red, the other pair blue.
The cage around Photos and Zophos was broken: the shock of the energy released thrust the trio of gods from their respective hosts, and knocked the champions into a state of unconsciousness...
"...Finally," Photos murmured.
"Freedom..." Zophos finished.
They spoke in unison, a hands reaching from the darkness: two pale white hands, and one hand of a darker complexion, grabbing the wrists of the unconscious champions.
"For your deed, we will spare you, for it is not your time. But pawns of the Gods you were, and we do not accept their wrongs," Suddenly, with a bright flash, the three champions were spread across the world, which was born anew, fused once more as Photos and Zophos were once more released into the world of mortals.
Once more, the worlds were unified, and the twins of Light and Darkness wandered the world again: A pitch black sword and an immaculate white sword being the only signs that they existed; the two blades crossed and planted in the ground where the temple of their sealing stood.
And so, this tale begins...

The setting changes from The planet Arccus in a closed universe to Castle Royale
"So what do you think?" Skye asked him quietly, the only sound besides them in the cave being the soft lapping of the flames around the castle itself, "Mother made this to replicate Castle Royale in the Hell she was born in, which of course no longer exists due to Majin," she explained.
"It's...beautiful in its own sense. Though, not something I fancy myself. I'm sure your mother, and you, adore it. I can't even see my father enjoying it though. It's too...dark." He states with a smirk.
Turning to face her, he nods, and shrugs. "Oh, well, I see. I guess this Majin is quite a terrible creature.." He finishes.
"Is the Black Rose Gardens. They only could live in Hell, and the only reason they're alive here is because of how mother has mimicked the environment of Hell here," She squeezed his hand, then slowly started to walk towards the castle before them.
"I see. I pity her, I suppose. Hell would not be a place for me. It's also why I pity my father. The man has been there on multiple occasions." He states, before glancing off to the side to see the Rose Gardens. "And these...these...they simply scream death to me. I cannot appreciate them. It is why I chose not to accept my fathers invitation to live here the first time. I expected a setting much like this. Your mother...she's easy to decipher." He states with a snicker; though he felt her clasp upon his hand tighten. So he, as well, chose to slightly tighten his grip upon her hand; following her inside.
Most prominent was first the very painting that once was within the original Castle Royale. Above the hallway was a painting of Gullwing Vegeta and Kadea Liz Royale sitting on their thrones with their four children: Vegetra Alexia Royale, Kadeo Matthew Royale, Annie Royale, and True Vegetra Royale. In the hallway was portraits of them all, and also of Lucifer, Lucifera, Hades, Hellecia, Kadeta, True Kadeta, of Sky, and of Alexia, Vegeshin, and Alexia's five children. Littered between various portraits were doors, all of which maintained the round medieval door design of the front doors except for the last door on the right, which was an obnoxious rectangular modern door. Above the door to the throne room was a picture much like the first, but it held within it Alexia and Vegeshin on their thrones, with Vexion, and Alexia's five kids around them.
"Mother is probably inside here wrapping up her daily duties as Queen of the Deities," Skye said, glancing at her watch before pointing to the rectangular door beside them, "But your father is most definitely within his wing of the castle, which you can find through that door.
"I see. So...what else is there to do? I see this place is rather large. Am I to pester my father? Or...are you to speak with your mother? What exactly am I here for again...I suppose a visit is a visit, but...if they are busy..." He begins, before falling silent as he casts his eyes upon her.
He...felt beyond out of place. This castle, this realm, this...arccus...was not for him. He did not enjoy it. He was...beyond uncomfortable.
"Your...room?" He inquires, arching a brow in slight amusement. "Really, Skye? Such a silly girl you are..." He states, shaking his head with a laugh.
"As long as they do not take forever and a day. I think I can wait..." He states, and then seems to stop, shaking his head. Suddenly, a look of interest perks into his eyes.
"This creature Majin. Are there any remnants of him? I'm curious. He seemed to be a very powerful warrior, from what you've told me. If so, I want to see. I want to judge with my own eyes. You know how powerful my eyes are. They see everything. Perhaps I can find something out that others cannot. I mean, I realize your mother must know everything. But I want to know on the scale my eyes can grant. Perhaps I, myself, can learn something." He then suddenly states.
...Like a puppet with its strings being pulled...
"But... Why the sudden change of interest?" Skye asked, her eyes lightening a little, "I suppose I can let you look, but... We have to be careful not to be caught, and you can't touch it because if so much as one piece of it gets out of the energy field he can come back." Skye was speaking too much, but she didn't think twice about whether she was or not. Something seemed... Off, but she could explain it off. She just wanted to know if he could...
Leaning forward, though, he pulls her closer; his lips close to hers. "Please Skye; I promise we won't be caught. I won't do a thing; just study it with my eyes.." He states; those pale eyes of his suddenly manifesting into his 'Demon Eyes'. "See; this is all..." he says.
"A-Alright... I'll take you to him..." She whispered, trying with all she was not to stutter.
As they made there way through the long, shaded, passageway, he snickers at her words. "But of course. All would assume a being so powerful, to be sealed beneath. Not above. Above seems to be the easiest place to get to. But, I suppose, from what I see now, it is not the case." He states.
And once they found they're way into the chamber. Vexion's pale violet eyes locked upon the containment field. Slowly striding up to it, his Demon Eyes activate. If Vexion could utter anything; it would be a gasp of absolute shock. He saw everything that composed this creature from this remnant. The dark energy. The terrible power. The conglomeration of genetics. Even his lineage and where he began. He could see it all. Even the screaming weakness.
Forbidden had plans though.
"Skye...I thank you." He simply states, reaching forth to plunge his hand in. Securing the piece, he turns about, staring at her. His eyes flash a pale crimson for a second before a crooked sneer appears on his lips.
"And now, I must take my leave..." He states, walking forward. A free hand pulls forth Necrossaiga II, and with a lash of it to the side; he opens a dimensional rift. One that would close as soon as he'd entered.
"I suggest you remain here. It should be now obvious to you that Vexion is not controlling this body. One false move, and I can end his existence here before you...simply by being within his mind." The voice of Vexion carries forth.
And with that, the boy turns and enters the rift, it closing directly behind him. Remnant of Majin and all.
"Vexion, what are you doing!! You're endangering us all!!" she screamed, before she heard his words. It was clear to her now, she felt so stupid for not realizing it sooner: Vexion had been possessed. She went to take a step forward, but she was too afraid and was only able to watch him vanish into the rift. She fell to her knees, letting out a cry before she spun and ran as fast as she could towards the exit, running into the walls again and again, scraping and bruising her entire body as she did so. She hit the door with a sickening thud, busting open her forehead in the collision. She opened the door and fell into the floor, right into Alexia and Vegeshin's sight.
"Skye, what on earth were you doing in there? Answer me. And what happened to you?" He asks sternly, though pulling her into a warm embrace. The poor fool had grown so attached to his family already. He almost wanted to curse Vegeta, as he felt he was too similar to the bastard. But, well...a family was a family.
"Where is Vexion. I felt his presence here. He can suppress his power all he likes, but...since he and I both possess copies of Necrossaiga...I can sense him anywhere; especially if he uses the blade to travel." He finishes.
"...He, he tricked me," Skye began, "I didn't realize it until it was too late, you can look in my memories if you have to he didn't seem that different at all other than the initial red flag that went up, but Vexion was possessed by someone with crimson eyes, someone who tricked me into taking them to Majin. He grabbed Majin before opening the rift, saying to stay there because he could kill Vexion from within his mind... After he left I didn't even bother to make myself a light and just ran here as fast as I could. I was running into walls, falling down stairs... But I was just trying to get here faster. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I didn't know..." It was now she began to silently cry, unable to bottle her emotions anymore.
"Hn. Something is not right, obviously. Where could he be? What is going on..." He mutters to himself, releasing Skye to her mother. He himself immediately took off down the hall, before leaving the castle altogether.
Leaving completely, he sought out Vexion, though he'd find him to no avail...
