Personality: Janie is a loud Scotswoman. She’s very proud, but doesn’t have quite as much to back that up as she might think. Take her heritage for example. She’s insanely proud of the Scottish side of her ancestry, but has little clue just how far back the Arabic side of her heritage goes. She’s surprisingly rambunctious for an assassin, being quick to be loud when she doesn’t need to be discreet for whatever reason. She’s a bit of a drinker, but is rarely actually drunk, because of her high tolerance for alcohol, and can drink most anyone under the table. Her accent is spectacularly heavy, and it’s sometimes hard to understand her because of it. Janie is spectacularly dedicated to the assassin’s cause, and even more so to the creed.
History: Janie was taken away from her drunkard father one day when she was 6, and he’d decided, drunkenly, to take her to the pub with him. She had been spotted by a neighbor of the pub, who knew the man leading her by the hand was a notorious drunk. It came to pass that social services named her father unfit to care for her, but before she could be put into care, she vanished from the radar. The neighbour who’d looked after a drunkard’s daughter had been an assassin, and had evidently noticed promise in her. Janie was taken to an assassin “farm” deep in the highlands, and trained up a bit. She volunteered willingly for the project, ready to do most anything for the cause.

Assassination outfits: Akilah wears the ever present hood, but has shorter boots than most, just coming past her ankles, and wears her sleeves in such a way as to hide her hidden blade. She has a quiver which fastens in an unusual manner so that it rests at her hip, on the other side than her sword, and often wears her bow across her back.
Favored High Profile Weapon: a broadsword (She’s not very good with it).
Favored Low Profile Weapon: Arrows used in creative ways.
Favored Ranged Weapon: A bow and arrows.
Personality: Akilah is pretty much Janie’s opposite. She’s quiet at all times, and very serious. While she may not have as much skill in close quarters, she more than makes up for that in long range, namely archery. She is an observer by nature, and this finds it’s way into her assassination style. She kills the way most people play chess, making her move, and reacting to the repercussions thereof with speed and efficiency. She has made a point of learning the creed and tenets off by heart, and exactly where the loopholes are. She hasn’t told anyone of this knowledge, nor why she has it. Akilah is a diligent worker, especially at learning a skill, and has a strong sense of duty. Akilah is simply not adept at high profile kills, purely because she cannot take her mind off of staring eyes and focus on her target.
History: Akilah was found in a manner strikingly similar to Janie, a known drunk father taking her along, and an assassin noticing this, and promise in the little girl. Except instead of just vanishing the child, ha bought her from her father, and brought her to Masyaf, and to the assassin stronghold. Akilah learned, and worked hard, but stopped when she got to rank four, apparently satisfied with that.
