Ink-bending is just as useful in battle as it is in scribework...
Ink is that of a writer; perfectly happy in either solitude or company, and is optimistic, always looking at the "plot of life" and "the happy ending". He is full of wise words and cautious warnings, but is also a great man of humor and avid storyteller and caster of tall tales. His sunny disposition radiates from every pore of his body, making him a favorite among children and elders.
A rucksack which carries basic supplies and his calligraphy kit. He additionally has a straight wooden rod that is too short to be a staff but too long to be a cane that he uses as a walking aid and writing utensil in the earth.
Ink is one of the last of his kind of Benders--the Minor Benders, or Benders of items or themes that are not of the four basic elements. At one point in history, there were many Minor Benders, but they all were either killed or died, killing their art with them. Ink is one of the lucky ones to have the honor to learn this art of Ink-bending, taught by a great man who sent Ink away upon his death. This is all he knows. He does not know where he came from or what his family was like, nor does this bother him.
