The rest of the tour went by rather quickly. Daniel learned that his partner would be doing music, which was good for her. He himself played the piano when able, and loved the prospect of music. What stood out the most to him during the entire tour however, was the park area right next to the tennis courts. The cherry trees were in a dazzling full bloom, throwing a firework of colors into the normally brown and green scenery. He hoped to be able to visit the park again after class, maybe with a few new acquaintances.
"Time for the last stop right? Cafeteria, right? Time for some lunch!" Daniel caught a glimpse of one of the many clocks hanging on a wall of the school. They were right on time. Cassiopeia went for the Freshman's hand once more, and the boy could feel his partner's soft hand wrap around his own. He was beginning to get used to it at this point and continued on behind Cassiopeia as if nothing were out of the ordinary.

"I wonder what kinds of food are being served... Hmm... Daniel..." The cafeteria was bustling with activity. The whole school was waiting in lines or enjoying their meals at the tables close by. Daniel didn't mind the people though, just as long as they didn't protrude into his personal space that was. His partner's eyes scanned the enormous crowd of children, as if looking for someone in particular...
"Aeon!" Within a split second, Cassiopeia rushed towards a rather tall, almost intimidating male. "Aeon's" hair was of the most peculiar color, a sort of blueish purple hue, and it caught Daniel's eye almost instantly.
"Daniel! Over here!" His Sophomore partner waved. Daniel took this as an invitation to join the couple. Past awkward experiences of being the third wheel entered his mind, but were quickly thrown out like hot potatoes. Besides, he could use the space of being outside.

"This is my freshman partner, Daniel! And Daniel, this is Aeon! a fellow sophomore!"
"I am Belrose Aeon." The taller Sophomore gave a slight bow. He looked very sophisticated, especially for his age. In the time Daniel was able to meet some of his father's acquaintances, Aeon's type had presented itself multiple times before. They tended to be a little too serious at times and lacked some aspects in the sense of humor. How strange for such a boy to be with a girl of almost exact opposite characteristics. They seemed to get along fine from what he had seen. Daniel gave a slightly more exaggerated bow than what was received, as was the custom...at least if he had remembered that correctly.
"Trist Daniel" He had remembered a split second before it was too late to switch the last and first names. Some grammatical things were really different here, and he'd need some time to adjust. "A pleasure to meet you." The way the younger boy said it was rather unnatural, the American English accent was very noticeable, and the words seemed almost forced out in a way. "Pardon my barbaric accent, I'll do my best to improve in the future." He said in an apologetic tone.

Just then, something seemed to hit the Freshman's hand. Daniel looked around a bit, wondering what it could have been when something hit his head, shoulder, arm, and foot. Soon the light rain began to intensify.
"It has begun to rain. We should go inside."
"I think that's a good idea." Daniel followed the older male and Cassiopeia back into the cafeteria. His speech was a little bit less strange now, it must have been the awkward switch from English.
"They serve a variety of meals of different culture. I believe you will find something that would suit your taste. Shall we."
"Yes, let's!" Daniel slipped into line right with the other two and decided to try something new. The young aristocrat found himself a tray with multiple foods displayed on it and carried it to the table chosen by his acquaintances.

Though he couldn't speak Japanese very well, Daniel's understanding of the language was much better...proportional to his speaking level. He picked up things in conversations of people strolling past, or even looking straight at the group. From what he could decipher, they were talking about how Cassiopeia and Aeon were together. Tilting his head slightly, Daniel tried to listen a bit more intently, a bit surprised when he picked up the word "Argyris." He had picked up the name a couple times in national news channels and such. They were an extremely wealthy family of royalty. How strange for a member of the Argyris family to be in Japan. Well to be honest it was strange for Daniel to be here as well, but that was the doing of unfortunate circumstances.

There was no real point in asking, except for maybe the purpose of making his companions uncomfortable. The white hair and red eyes were a dead giveaway from the very beginning, Daniel was a bit dissapointed in himself for not realizing sooner. After a spoonful of an interesting tasting soup of a sort, Daniel attempted to chat a bit with the newly introduced Aeon.
"Aeon-san." Daniel tried to keep his words as natural sounding as possible. "Sometime...that is if you don't mind, I wonder if you could help me out a bit with Japanese. I'm improving every day, but I don't think I'll catch up in time for the homework. I would ask Cassiopeia, but..." He trailed off at a loss for words, literally. Daniel lacked the vocabulary to properly express what he really meant to say, so he decided it would be best to stop there to avoid misunderstandings. The underclassman shot an apologetic look in his partner's direction before redirecting his attention to Aeon.

Cassiopeia was brightly smiling because Aeon had agreed to have lunch with her. She knew that it could probably be because of their unannounced relationship, but she does hope that it was not because of that. Aeon is a man full of pride that is how she had always seen him ever since the first time they had met. That is why she knows that Aeon will not do anything that would tarnish that pride of his by forcing him to do things he doesn't like in the first place. The idea of that makes her happy as she nodded with a smile. "That's wonderful! Thank you very much Aeon!" She clapped her hands together to express her joy in his acceptance of the invitation.

She was also happy when Daniel and Aeon introduced themselves to each other. They were now acquaintances and she wouldn't mind for Aeon's friend list to get a bit bigger. She wasn't even sure if Aeon has one as he had always implied that all his relationships were purely business. That was rather sad so, she wouldn't mind Aeon interacting with people around his age and be friends, well that is what she hopes for. Daniel was having that accent of his as he spoke in Japanese. That's right, Aeon was raised in a very traditional Japanese Household that's probably the reason despite his foreign surname, Aeon appears to be a purebred even if his appearance demanded it to be not. "Daniel is also new to the Japan culture! Just like me." She added with a casual and cheerful tone. She was the same as well, even if Hotaru had taught her, her Greek accent spills through with a twist of Spanish.

That was when it began to rain. She was not uncomfortable with the weather and would love to stand underneath, just to know how it feels, but that would be troublesome and, she doesn't want to bother Aeon, especially if she makes a scene. That is why when Aeon told them to come inside. She gave a nod of agreement which Daniel also agreed to. They entered the cafeteria as she walked beside Aeon. She looked around the area and saw some of the students looking at them. She gave them a smile and they quickly turned away. She thinks nothing of it and simply continued on her way. Others were already eating while there were still some getting their meals. They would belong to that category, getting their meals.

Aeon said that the cafeteria served different kind of cuisine and that made her very excited. "That sounds wonderful!" She said with cheery tone as Aeon insisted for her to get in line first. "Thank you." She got in line and soon received her meal which was dominated by melon breads, there were a little mix of Greek and Spanish cuisine which was not surprising. Aeon waited for her and pointed to a vacant table. He wanted her to go first and so she did while giving Daniel a glance. "Let's go over there, Daniel." She then went to the table and took her seat. She waited for the boys to do the same before happily looking at her food. She looked like a delightful child who had a tray of desserts. "They look so delicious!" She said with such cheer as she closed her eyes and offered a small prayer of thanks. It was something her mother taught her and her siblings.

Following that, she took her melon bread, but then remembered what Hotaru once told her about the culture here before eating any kind of meals. "Itadakimasu!" She then took a bite of her bread and her ruby red eyes glowed with such adoration. "It's tastes so good!" It was actually a joy watching her eat as she was truly enjoying but not in the way one would say that she lacked manners. She was still poised and has a natural grace apparent of her upbringing. It was during that time when Daniel asked Aeon about helping him out with the Japanese. Daniel seemed worried that it would be misunderstood, but Cassiopeia doesn't mind at all. She did tell him before that she was not best with Japanese as she was also learning about it. "I think that's a good idea. Aeon is very well-versed in Japanese and anything else about it. I still have a lot to learn and I have Hotaru to help me out. Would you help him, Aeon?" She asked while looking at Aeon without any signs of her forcing it on him. She wanted him to decide on it freely. If he wouldn't, she would just offer her services by asking Hotaru to double up her Japanese lessons, so she could help Daniel.

Either way, Cassiopeia did not want Aeon to think that she was taking advantage of him. She also actually saw this opportunity for Aeon to have a friend outside of business relation. That was not a bad thing, isn't it?

"Here she comes."

There was no denying that Cassiopeia was happy about his agreement on having lunch together. Her reaction reminded him of his younger brother who expresses the same thing when he complies to wishes despite how degrading it may be. It is without a doubt that his relationship with Cassiopeia is purely business. They have a contract that both of them would abide to. However, he does not mind the company of the Argyris Princess at all. Her antics and innocence are indeed a refreshing thing to see and be around him. And despite him never saying anything about it, he never does anything without his own personal consent on the matter which his Father is very well-aware of.

In regards to the introduction of the blonde-haired freshman, Aeon had noticed his accent from the very beginning. "It is a pleasure as well." He had been exposed to people of different ethnicity and learned various languages to better the communication process. He also does have foreign blood circulating inside of him, specifically, French blood. So, it was not difficult for him to assess that his accent was heavily wrapped with that American descent, but there was also the slightest hint of French ancestry there. The freshman, Daniel, apologized for his accent. "It is of no consequence. I do not find it barbaric at all." His words were spoken in fluent English to make it so that there would be no problems in terms of talking to each other. One should speak in a voice that they are most comfortable with, as for him, he is rather comfortable with anything.

Cassiopeia commented that Daniel was new to Japan just like she is. A kindred soul then, that would be good for her to have a freshman who would be able to relate to her situation. Aeon gave a nod to acknowledge that fact. "Then, I would like to welcome you to Japan, Trist-san." He reverted to speaking in Japanese once more. After that, they had entered the cafeteria as the rain fall down outside. As far as he could tell, Cassiopeia was either oblivious to the looks that they were receiving more accurately, her and him being together even, if there was another person with them. The scene from earlier where Cassiopeia hugged him had rippled through the school body with such varying degrees of assumptions. However, it was something not worth paying attention to and he was thankful that Cassiopeia was the kind who does not care or rather too naive of the workings of the outside world.

They soon received their meals. Aeon noticed the heaping amount of Melon bread on Cassiopeia's tray. The girl favored the said food, but he was still amazed at her consistency. Well, everyone has a preferred meal and that is simply it. As for Daniel, he opted to take a piece of varying food cuisines. They took their seat as he sat beside Cassiopeia. The girl muttered a prayer which was a culture handed to her by her mother. He on the other hand simply muttered a composed, "Itadakimasu.", and began to eat his meal. Clearly, Cassiopeia was enjoying her meal as he was as composed as ever. His dining was also marred with high grace and elegance which makes his so-called fan club... enamored further. That was when Trist asked him of something.
ImageImageImage
His eyes of deep mauve gazed at the blonde-haired man. He then looked at Cassiopeia who seemed unperturbed about the sense of not being able to help in the language of this country. She even asked if he could help her freshman partner. In truth, he has no problems with it. The occasional tutoring was a common thing for him to do. His fellow classmates and other students would ask for his aid in some difficult problems. Aeon looked at Trist. "I have no qualms about helping you Trist-san. You can come to me if you require my help, as long as I am able to." His words were formal, polite, and unmarred with anything. It might be viewed as being distant, but he is sincere in conveying the meaning of his words. Even if Cassiopeia had not asked for his help in that matter, he would have agreed to be of aid.

After saying that, Aeon continued eating his meal. He was actually a quiet eater. Well, it was a given as he eats on his own most of the time. If a time comes he could dine with his Father, there was nothing else to discuss really. The relationship between them was vaguer than that of a stranger. At the same time, he is not a sociable person. Most of the talking he had done are purely of business, he never dabbled into small talks or anything of that sorts. The one he had earlier with Inoue was already out of his usual disposition. But as the saying goes, he would need to cater to such things once in a while. "I do hope that the tour you two had have been informative and complete." He noted after taking a bite of his meal and gazing at Trist and Cassiopeia. "If you two have any questions, do not afraid to ask me. I will answer to the best as I can."

It was not a bother for him to do another tour with them if they desired so. Cassiopeia and Trist were relatively new to the academy. Of course, it will be done during free hours as after lunch, the classes will begin. There also the matters about club activities for him and he recalled that Cassiopeia might have intentions of joining one. It was no trouble if the ones she chooses are the kinds which will not strain her health. However, he has a feeling that she was going to join a sports-related one. That would be quite a debate in more ways than one. Hotaru had entrusted him with the safety of the Argyris princess. He would do it to the best of his ability, but it must be done without restricting Cassiopeia too much. After all, she had went here to experience a sense of normalcy and he will provide her that.

Mistakes, mistakes, mistakes. How many more for today? Daniel realized he had forgotten to say "Itadakimasu" before his first bite. He really needed to acclimatize to the culture as quickly as possible to avoid offending anyone. Luckily, the cafeteria was crowded and abuzz with chatter. No one seemed to notice, not even the Freshman's accomplices.
"I think that's a good idea. Aeon is very well-versed in Japanese and anything else about it. I still have a lot to learn and I have Hotaru to help me out. Would you help him, Aeon?"
Naturally, Cassiopeia was being as helpful as she could. Daniel didn't enjoy profiling and anticipating others, but it had been drilled into him in a sense by his father and Cato. Apparently it was an invaluable skill in business and negotiations.

"I have no qualms about helping you Trist-san. You can come to me if you require my help, as long as I am able to." A yes! Daniel replied his thanks in the same formality..to an extent.
"You have my up-most thanks. Your help will be a real grade saver!" Aeon looked really staid and almost hostile at first, but he was turning out to be pretty nice. Just another example of how you can't always judge by looks.
"I do hope that the tour you two had have been informative and complete." The aristocrat replied almost hurriedly.
"Oh it was!" The enthusiasm leapt out from his words like excited rabbits. "I mean I'll admit we had a little confusion on were to begin, but everything seemed to work itself out from there." Daniel dampened his tone a bit this time. "Right?" The blonde boy turned to make eye contact with his female partner. Smiling all the while.

"If you two have any questions, do not afraid to ask me. I will answer to the best as I can."
"Thanks, I was wondering where the closest restroom was actually." It had been some time since the last time he had checked himself in the mirror, and the time span was beginning to worry the boy. Hopefully Daniel wouldn't end up meeting anyone unpleasant in the bathroom, there was always the consistency of meeting the least appealing acquaintances in the restroom. The most uncomfortable situations always occur in that enchanted space. But what could be done? Nature calls the ill and well mannered, kind and hard hearted souls alike. Not to mention some of the strangest people on the face of the earth.

This was turning out to be a good lunch. Aeon and Daniel seemed to be getting along in her eyes. It would not be bad for Aeon to have friends especially males ones. She was not completely innocent of the world that they seemed to share together, the world of the rich and elite. They are told to be mindful of those who they are seen with and to treat every relationship a potential threat or a potential tool. One must never show weakness for the sharks will come. It was not really a good thing to hear or to be raised with such a philosophy, but that is how it is. Their world is not just for comfort or glamour. It was darker and harsher. That's why it is a good thing to see that they can make relationships or friends without worrying about anything besides that they get along well.

Cassiopeia focused on the positive things and happily ate her melon bread with a bright expression. She was really happy. It was then she looked at Daniel when the tour was talked about. Daniel said that there was confusion and that was true without a doubt. She was not even sure which way is which, but they seemed to have luck on their side. They were able to find the places they needed to know basically. "Yes, it was really confusing... But we got through it together!" She said with enthusiasm and a smile as a sign of her agreement. "This place is a lot different than the castle." She said without conviction or sarcasm. It was a simple and untainted comparison. She had never been far away from her home, so this place was something new to her.

"I don't know if I was much help, but we had fun, Daniel and I, right?" She gazed at Daniel and gave a warm smile on her face. It was truly hard to imagine that an Argyris would be here or be even remotely accessible to people. It had been quite the reputation that her family was rather eccentric and distant from people. Despite their social standing, they were not fond of social gatherings so, their presence in one is highly commended and said to be rare which makes that event very popular and awaited. "How about your tour, Aeon? Did you and your freshman partner had fun?" Her question as always had been without malice. She looked at Aeon with great expectation. It would be nice to know that Aeon was getting along with his partner.

Then, Daniel asked where the restroom is. She didn't think about that. It would be helpful to know that as well. Just like that, she waited for Aeon's response. When Aeon responded, she looked at Daniel. "We'll be waiting here." She sincerely stated and then she came up with her question for Aeon. She was not sure if Aeon would be all right with it. "Aeon... Do you think I could join a club?" She asked her voice changing from its usual cheerful tone into a submissive one. Her eyes looked at Aeon with the subtle pleading. She knew that Hotaru would definitely say no, but she wanted to join the clubs. They seemed to so fun and one of the reason she is here was to experience the life of a student. That's why she was certain that Aeon would at least listen to her request. "I really want to join one..."

"Here she comes."

As it would appear, Cassiopeia and Trist had a good and informative time during the tour. The two were radiating positive energy. It was a pleasant thing to witness. Aeon was well-aware of the Argyris princess' relationship circle. It was mainly composed of her family and Hotaru. There was nothing beyond that. In regards about them, he could not describe it to be a healthy one. After all, this was a business engagement. The reason they had agreed to this was for their own selfish gain, so, he could not describe this as a bond in which was done out of untainted interest. Though, he would admit it only to himself that having Cassiopeia near him was not as revolting or annoying as he had initially thought it would be. She was tolerable and that was a lot when it comes to his preference.

In any case, Trist seemed delighted in his agreement of helping the freshman in regards to the Japanese language. It was not much of a hassle as long as he has the time. Then, there was another question from Trist. It was about the closest restroom. He does not find that odd. "You could find one just outside this area. It should be near the gymnasium where the opening ceremony was held. There should be a sign to keep you on point, Trist-san." He answered the question with his very casual tone that sounded of distant politeness. However, that is normal for him and always will be. After saying that, Cassiopeia implied that they will be waiting for him to return. In his opinion, there was no reason to do so, but if that is her wish. It will be allowed. He noted towards to Trist. "Lunch will be over soon." There was no trouble in waiting that he could see except for the next words which left her lips.
ImageImageImage
Cassiopeia wanted to join a club. He had already thought of this as a possibility especially because of her personality and reason. His eyes gazed at Cassiopeia. They were not intense or intimidating. He was simply gauging the emotion behind that request of hers. In his personal opinion, there was nothing wrong with that. He would not have a hard time considering it, but it would be a different case if Hotaru is involved. The female guardian of the Argyris princess was too passionate when it comes to the safety and health of her ward. Something he had experienced a few times with his own butler. "You have been told not to participate in one." His statement was not made as a question but as a fact. He is aware of this due to Hotaru telling him beforehand.

This was done out of consideration of her health. Club activities would have the possibility of exhausting her and with the condition of hiding her present state, it was only natural for her to be limited in physical activities. The risk of her attending school in a foreign country is already a high one. However, he could see that she truly wants to join one and from her expression, she was expecting him to do something about it. Moments like these remind him of his little brother. Perhaps, that is why he had spoken the words that came out of his lips. "I understand. I will handle the precautions and Hotaru-san." It would not be an easy discussion, but he will be able to make the female guardian agree. One of the main reasons Cassiopeia was able to study here was also due to his negotiations.

But before that, he would need to determine what kind of club she intends to join. Hopefully, it would not be an overly taxing one. There are a lot of clubs that do not have much of an activity. Those types would be a preferable choice. "What kind of club do you intend to join?"

Was she hearing things? Was she dreaming? Her eyes of ruby red widened in surprise as she comically pinched her cheeks. There was pain and she was still in the cafeteria of the school, so it must be real. Aeon agreed to her request and would take care of Hotaru. She instantly changed her expression to that of a very bright smile. "Thank you so much, Aeon!" Her action propelled by excitement and happiness made her hug Aeon who sat beside her. Her face nuzzled affectionately at the crook of his neck. She was so ecstatic, she forgot her promise to Hotaru not to make things difficult for Aeon if possible. That one action of hers made most of the occupants of the cafeteria rumble in varying reactions.

It was only when the noise became quite loud that Cassiopeia was taken a peg of what her actions implied to those around her. She caused quite a commotion. She quickly pulled away from Aeon. That's right his identity is a secret, so she could not be too reckless on how she acts around him. Her face now displayed red cheeks not because of her earlier pinching, but her own embarrassment of probably causing Aeon trouble. Her hands clasped together on her lap as she lowered her head in apology. "I'm so sorry... I didn't meant to. I was just so happy..." She looked at her hands intently and if it would possible to sink in a hole right now, she would have. She should have more self-control of herself, really. She could already hear Hotaru scolding her when her guardian hears about this. Plus, Daniel could have seen this foolish event of hers, this is really embarrassing.

Cassiopeia seemed to have a different reason for being ashamed than what the normal reason would have been like intimacy. Their surroundings quieted a bit and Cassiopeia took a deep breath and lifted her head to look at Aeon. That's right, she has yet to answer his question about what club she liked to join. It would be a good time for her to do so. It would avert her mind from her blunder. "I'd like to join the Drama Club... and maybe... just maybe..." She bit her lower lip and began to fiddle with her fingers. She might be pushing the envelope here, but it wouldn't hurt to ask, right? "Could I join a sports club?" Her eyes looked at Aeon with its glassy quality and the puppy dog expression which she has no control over.

For anyone observing the two, it could be said that the pair gets along exceptionally well. Their conversation is also a basis for many conclusions, but they can only be a guess. In the end, the nature of their relationship is a big mystery that most wanted to know about. Well, if Cassiopeia liked to be talked around the school, she effectively did that today without fail. A lot of rumors are now flying off the bat as she attached herself to someone who had been perceived as some kind of idol around the school which she has no idea about, but she really didn't meant it to at all. At the same time, she was worrying about something else entirely. It's Aeon's approval of her joining a sports club. "Please, Aeon?"

It was about time, really. Unmei finally got her meal as she glared at the server while speaking about fast and efficiency. Some of the students looked at her in surprise and oddly. Well, she knew it was probably because she was new, but most of all about her unrestricted tongue. She was used to it by now, so it didn't bother her with what people think of her most of the time. It's not like they contributed anything to her in the first place. After speaking her piece and the server apologizing for the wait, she went on her way looking for an unoccupied table, but it seemed the day for her was truly an unlucky one as far as her assessment of it. All the tables were occupied that she couldn't help but sigh. This school is known to be very expensive, they could afford to buy more tables.

While having that thought, her attention was taken by the sudden noises by the other students in the cafeteria. It was starting to be a bit loud and the source was a pair of uncommon hair colors. Well, she wasn't the only one. That's good to know. A white-haired girl (Cassiopeia) and a bluish-purple haired guy (Aeon), they seemed to display public affection without care. Her eyes narrowed at that sight and inwardly gagged. She wasn't simply a fan of it. They could do those things in private in her opinion. She rolled her eyes and didn't want to waste her time on something useless. She has to find a place to eat and then, her eyes zoned on a particular individual. It's not because of anything personal as love at first sight or someone she knew in the past. It was more logical. The person she was looking at resembled the photo attached to be her Sophomore Partner.

With a smile on her face, she carried her tray over the table where there are two occupants. "Hi there." She started while looking at the two students there, one noticeably a girl and another a boy who had a more softer edges in her opinion. "My name is Nijo Unmei. You must be Miyuu Akira." Her eyes now on Akira as she has polite and friendly smile on her face. "I'll be your freshman partner now on. I hope we get along well." She offered her a hand for a handshake while the other carried her food tray. When that was done, she spoke once more. "I hope you and your friend." She gave Himeko a polite glance and nod of the head before continuing. "Don't mind if I eat with you guys." She stated while still standing before the two. She wasn't the kind that just sit down. The nuns did teach her manners, but it would be a good thing the answer would not take long. She was never patient as presented earlier when she got her food.
