symphonic

~i stand on a cliff looking over the newly formed world. I have been staying here for many moons and have not truly seen another soul around that may be peaceful towards me. My blood red eyes watch as smoke climbs towards the sky as another war begins in the east. To the west, they skies are darkened with rain clouds and lighting. To the north, the skies have been filled with the smoke of war since the clash of the worlds.~

I was flying high in the sky in my true form, a large bird with a fifteen foot wingspan that seemed to be on fire. I find it very nice to move in this form, it makes me happy, even the fact that things seemed to be going wrong around me. People had tried to kill her more than usual, but lucky they didn't, or their family's might have burned to death in a house fire. I love being free in the sky.

I watched the floor of the forest as I flew, hoping to find a meal, or even someone to talk to. I watched and flew, the sun gave me power, it was like being wrapped in happiness, no matter how odd that sounds. I noticed some people on the ground, a male and female, not human. Years of life have taught me that, who is human, and who is not. I figure what the heck, I flew down to them.

Near the ground, I reverted to my human like form, a girl with red hair. My form was wearing a blue top that didn't cover my stomach and white skirt that went to my knees. I might look like a freak, but when you can fly, clothing isn't that important to you.

"Hello!" I sing-sang at the male sitting near the tree, noticing that he looked liked he had been in a fight. "What brings you to these woods?" Only then did I notice the female.

~i watched the flying creature from my vantage point on the cliff. I noticed her, by the smell in the air it was a her, land in the trees. My eyes return to the skies for a few moments before i vanish heading towards a town as my hunger gets the best of me and the smell in the air much to strong for me to resist.~

I had a smile plastered on my face, the male in front of me seemed nice, even trying to flirt with her, although he was probably trying to be friendly, to which she loved. She had always loved playing with all types of creatures, save for water ones, I HATE water, it is the opposite of me.

"So," I aimed at the guy, while sitting down on the forest floor with a thump, "I guess I should start with names. My name is Clairabell Shelly Lomne, but you may call me Claire." My smile seemed to get larger, for some reason I couldn't place. "What's the story behind you two? A Vamp and something else walking around together usually means bad news for humans. Of course, I have no way of knowing if you are friendly towards humans or not." I shot a look at the girl, reading her, she seemed weary, but didn't seem like the type to charge. I lowered myself further on the ground, until my knees where in the air, and I was flat on my back. "Have either of you got any deer meat on you? I am starving."

I was smiling to myself and the boy who was called Lucho, he had said my name was pretty, and I rather liked that. If only it hadn't been ruined by him freaking out a tad when he asked what she meant by "The Story". I hit myself internally, I kept forgetting Vamps and Weres didn't use the same method of IDing as Phoenixes.

"Sorry about that." She said, her voice a tad less happy, "You are probably wondering how I guessed you out, hun? Well, let me start by saying that I am a Phoenix." She paused, hoping no violent reaction would come, her kind often were hidden due to how much they were wanted for feathers, tears, meat, and just about everything else. "We track different kinds by the energy they give off. LIke for emample, you are a Vamp: your energy has a very smooth flow to it, almost calming, while Werewolves tend to have a more frantic flow to it. You give it off practically all the time, unless one of my kind has trained you. And RUSH overthere has a flow that is hard to read, have you had any experience with Phoenixes before?" She aimed the question at RUSH, but she wanted to get back to Lucho, who seemed very nice. "Sorry for scaring ya." I chuckled a bit before raising myself and rubbing the back of my head. After Lucho confirmed they had no meat, I let out a sigh, "Darn, guess I'll have to go into a village or something."

After taking a moment to realize that no villages near by were very friendly to her kind, I gave up the search. "So, Lucho." I looked up at him with full eyes, "Do you mind if I tag along with you two? The humans are starting to get more violent than usual, and I hate staying in my human form alone. Pretty please with AB+ blood on top?" I started to give puppy eyes in hope that they would convince him.

Knowing it was getting really close to dinner time I ran up the closet tree. I sat on a branch and took off my wrist a homemade hairband made from leaves of a tree. I quickly tied up my curly light brown hair into a bun and then stood up. Waiting was the worst part of finding dinner. I wasn't like myself after everyone close died. I stop chasing squirrels, chipmunks, beavers, and other animals. I waited for them to come to me. I just had to pick the right tree. I slowly reached into my right boot and slowly took out a small but really sharp knife. My grandfathers knife... Oh how I loved my grandfather, the only one who understood me. Tears started filling my eyes, the thoughts of my childhood made me want to crawl up in a ball and cry. Being seventeen... I couldn't do that anymore. I was on my own. I had other responsibilities to do. Like bathing, catching food, traveling(not getting caught), and at least try to find someone I can talk too.

*Sees a bird nest with 3 little eggs*

*Slowly approaches it*

"Great protein... I guess" I whisper in case there would be other creatures near by.

*Starts eating the eggs whole*

That will do for the rest of the night and then I promised myself tomorrow I'll have a big breakfast...

~walks away from the village and whips my mouth before smiling happily with a full stomach. i decide to walk through the woods and find a new vantage point at witch to watch the world go to hell in a hand basket around me. My senses twitch as i walk through the woods smelling a female rather close to me and two others and a male quiet a bit away from me. Being cautious i approached the tree near by in witch a girl was eating eggs raw in~"Should you not cook those first, before you eat?"~i look at her still being cautious my hand hidden behind my back~

Not knowing someone stood right below me I sat down and started counting the birds passing by in the sky. A noise of someone which talking filled the air around her. She slowly looks down at an unfamiliar face. "Doesn't matter. It doesn't hurt me one bit if I ate them raw or cooked." I then grabbed a tree branch near by and swung down so I was standing on the ground. I took the wristband out of my hair and slid it onto my wrist. My hair hung low. I turned around so my back was facing the person. "Have a name you want me to call you?" I then turn back around and smiled. Trying to be nice.

~i smile lightly and remove my hands from behind my back~"I am called Nakita. What is the name i may call you by?"~my thigh lengthened hair blowing behind me and my red eyes showing cautiousness and curiosity ~

I nodded and whispered to myself 'Nakita'. "You may call me Karielle. You've got a pretty unique name there." I started walking the opposite way Nakita was standing. Then stop suddenly at a small skinny tree. I rubbed my hand up and down it, feeling the textures in the bark. An old memory of my brother and I appeared. It showed me wearing a long red dress and my brother wearing a tux. We were getting ready for my aunts wedding. I remembered standing by a similar tree with my brother while waiting for our mom to get dressed to take us to my Aunts wedding. I also remembered watching that tree grow to be a huge oak tree over the years. I shook my head and turned back around.

~i nod gently~"Karielle is also unique. I am a....different kind of creature... Anyway, what are you doing out here all by yourself?"~i ask tilting my head to the side curiously. I have been alone for a while in this world, but because of who and what i am~

I sat down next to the little tree. "Thanks, I guess.. And I've been this way for awhile.. Since I was born. I'm out here because..." I put my head down, pulling out the knife and looking at it. "My family died... Long time ago. 7 years to be precise... Of a wild fire.. and the attacking of wolfs.. So, yeah.. I ask you the same question." I quickly slid the knife back into my right boot and then looked back up.

(...Well than. o-o )

~i look at her saddened~"I am sorry to bring up such painful memories... I do not know my past or why i am all alone... i just know that i am not human and have been here since the worlds collided..."~i say looking around~(sorry internet went out for a bit)

(I understand) -- I listen with great attention. "Its alright. Its the past. This is now the future... Gotta move on.. and sorry.. Hmm" I got up and looked around also. Thinking of what they could do. "You have no clue.. of anything?" I look right back at you.

~i look down~"I have been watching the worlds collide and go to war since it happened.... I have surveyed the land with my eyes and fed from the humans.... I also know that there are two females and a male not far from us... They are talking and i can hear them... I know that war has started to the east, a storm grows in the west, and a war has been going on since the collision of the worlds... many have died and many more will... There are some who come here looking for friends and some that have come here seeking death and destruction the rest were just caught up in the melding of things and are trying to live peacefully... Unfortunatly they can't because of the ones seeking death and destruction...."~i speak gently and sadly~"and i know that i am a vampire..."

(Sorry for not responding in 3 days^) I look down also thinking of how horrible things were going on. I spoke softly, "..I'm also a vampire.. Its just.. I don't really feed on humans.. I'd like to... Their blood are so pure and refreshing. I feed off of animals... Like deer, birds.. etc." I looked back up and looked at you. "So.. Guessing you're by yourself?.. I am, for sure."

~i nod and look to the skies~"I tried that but i found that feeding of animals made me weaker... I could not fend off rather strong warriors and have gotten hurt... As long as you can feed from humans without killing them it should be fine and if you can glamour them into forgetting as i can... and i am alone but i am looking for company.."~i say gently with a smile~

I then noticed that ever since I started feeding off of animals it made me weaker then I was feeding off of humans. "I never actually fought a warrior and such.. What if.. we do kill the human. What would happen?" I looked up to you, worried. I then tried thinking of why you said you were looking for company with a smile. Even though I knew the answer thinking made me more content. Made me calm. "So.. I'm looking for company... And your looking for company? Pair up?" My smile was a little crooked.
