There really seemed to be a lot more people crowding around than originally. Honestly, he was feeling very uncomfortable now. His eyes focused on the side, refusing to hold eye contact with anyone. He hadn't expected someone to come up to him and offer up a map. Blue optics flashed immediate concern, taking a second to glance at her before looking away. Her golden eyes looked beautiful. Were they natural? They couldn't be... "That's very kind of you. Thank you and all, but are you absolutely sure?" She still held out the map for him to take. She looked rather serious, so Sora just took it, mumbling one last quiet "Thank you."

Hearing one of the two males in the small group speak about where the Auditorium was, he glanced in the direction behind him just to double check. It seemed he was right as well, students had already starting rushing to the meeting place. Strange, a minutes ago there were nearly no students around for him to follow. It seemed he truly had a talent for looking stupid. "Y-Yeah...Thank you." Mumbling once again, he listened to the other speak on about this it being better to wait instead of rushing with the rest of the crowd. Even though he was someone who despised huge crowds, he found it better to get going now.

After hearing him speak of this school holding different people with different abilities, Sora raised an eyebrow. He glanced around once more. Thankfully, his power wasn't anything flashy or something that gave him unwanted attention. Not to mention his ability wasn't anything that could defend him, so he needed to avoid a fight. Although he trusted the school had that under control. Snapping back into reality with the words of the other person, the young male gave a nod. "Right. Thanks again for your help." Following the nearby students, Sora rushed through the crowd, managing to squeeze in somehow and get himself a seat.

Axel woke up in his dorm room after hearing a thump outside the door. He'd gotten in last night, and the faculty had stopped giving him a key two years ago after he'd pointed out that his power basically gave him a skeleton key anywhere by pushing the springs in locks as he desired. He quickly threw on a white V-neck and dark jeans, then formed a purple running blade blow his knee where his leg was missing. As he opened the door, he felt something land on his GOOD foot and winced as he looked down. Someone, he was guessing his roommate, had left their luggage outside.
Well, he thought, bringing it into the room and placing it on the unclaimed bed, might as well make sure it isn't stolen. Once all the luggage was brought in, he threw his uniform top on and left the room. He'd been to this whole assembly thing enough times to know it was the same ol' song and dance, but it was nice to get an idea of the new blood and see what was up. As he got to the auditorium, the crowd parted before him like Moses to the Red Sea, only for him to see his favorite chair in the back blocked off by a couple of the freshmen NPCs who had gotten there earlier. Rolling his eyes, he let a strand of his aura flow to his hand, then lash out to the wall behind them, gripping into place with gripping akin to a gecko's. He then retracted the aura and flew up into the air, placing his foot and false on the wall to stop himself before twisting and dropping to land right in his seat. He turned to shrug at the gawking new blood, and said, "What? I've been doing that sort of thing since I was a kid, it's like you jumping or running. Did you expect everyone to use their powers sparingly?" His attention dropped from his sentence when he saw a flash of pink hair. Pink hair meant another main character, and he only knew one girl with hair that pink... Or rather, pink at all.
"Sakura! Over here!" Axel waved, then pointed to the open seat next to him. An old face would be better to deal with than multiple new ones.

Basara heaved a sigh as the other students walked off, he'd felt popular. However, while most pushed forward he stayed back...once more he told himself it was due to the crowd. The white haired girl didn't seem to head off like the rest so he thought he'd make small talk.

"That was nice of you, offering the tall one a map and all...especially when you just transferred yourself." He began playing with his hair before continuing, "I'd also advise you hurry if you want a seat because unless you can fly to the roof for flight access, you'll be stuck standing." Despite his own words, Basara made no attempt to move himself. To a certain extent, isolating himself had become a habit so he didn't exactly feel bad about his own words. After all, despite this girl being even closer to his size than the green hair and even having the same hair color she was still separate from himself.

"Yes, sir. It'll be alright. You'll make friends. There is a lot of kind people here. I'm sure you'll be fine." Despite the cheery air she had on her, Dale couldn't help but slump a little at that. This was one of the reasons why he found being around Miss Akiyama awkward. Dale was a cynic. He followed the philosophy of 'expect the worst' to the letter. If he saw clouds in the sky, it was going to rain. If his throat felt sore, he must have caught pneumonia. And if someone looked at him funny, they were gonna mug him. The idea of trying to anticipate something going more wrong than it actually is was just another little survival mechanism that he had picked up over the years. Which, naturally, meant that he ended up at a bit of a loss when dealing with someone as genuinely nice and optimistic as her. Never the less he hurried after her as she led him too his dorm room.

"You can just put your belongings up against the door, as I see everyone else is doing." She stated. Dale gave said door, and the other bags in the hall, a pointedly skeptical look. Yeah... he wasn't going to doubt for a second that someone was going to try to nick off with anything left out in the open. Might was well put up a sign that said 'Free stuff' while he was at it. Setting his bag down next the door way and kneeling beside it, Dale held out his tattooed hand open above it.

Reaching into himself, brushing pass a familiar presence, he pulled out a little bit of his own essence and cast it off into the astral plane to act as a lure. With a few short seconds of pulsing the energy, he managed to catch hold of something and pull it forward. A tiny little glowing ball, no wider than a dime. The spirit, called a will-o-wisp, was then silently instructed to guard his bag and not let anyone else touch it. While Dale honestly didn't own that much of value in it, he'd rather prefer to keep to old habits and not let what was effectively the majority of his worldly belongs get carried off.

Momoko seemed too distracted with checking the time to notice what he was doing, and was already moving off toward the auditorium by the time he finished. Dale, a bit panicked when he saw she had already started moving, actually had to jog a bit to catch up with her. He still didn't know his way around this place. When he did catch up, he unconsciously flinched back and fell back behind her when another teacher came into view. He kicked himself mentally for that. He was really going to have to get out of his habit of amusing someone had it out for him at first sight.

Anaru

Anaru nodded as the boy asked if she was sure. "I wouldn't of offered it if I wasn't serious." She said in reply to the boy's unsure reactions. As she was waiting for the boy to take her map, she felt someone staring at her. She glanced over to her left to find a boy with white hair and red eyes looking her way. Anaru saw how he was studying her hair, and then she made eye contact with him for a few seconds as he made his way up to her eyes. She quickly darted her eyes in front of her and straightened her posture, finding this a little uncomfortable. After the boy finally took the map from her hands, she nodded. "You're quite welcome."

After watching the small group and the boy with her map leave, she frowned slightly. Honestly, she's only spoken a few sentences to them all, but she felt like she actually had a chance to bond with the group. Anaru watched them walk inside, and then slowly made her way towards the entrance, keeping her head down as she got lost in her thoughts.

Suddenly, she heard a voice beside her.
"That was nice of you, offering the tall one a map and all...especially when you just transferred yourself."
Anaru's thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a masculine voice, causing her eyes to dart to her left. She found herself staring at the same exact boy who was staring at her a few moments ago. He spoke while messing with his hair, as if he were becoming shy. She blinked and then turned to see if he could possibly be talking to someone else. You'd be surprised by how many times she had made that mistake. After seeing they're both practically at the end of the crowd, she turned back and cleared her throat. "... Thank you, I suppose... although, I wouldn't say it was just a random act of kindness... I truly just didn't find a need for it anymore."

After the boy stated that she should move quickly to find a seat or she'll end up standing, she smirked slightly in reply. She found it quite humorous, since it certainly wasn't a problem for her kind. Nevertheless, she nodded. "I can assure you that I'll be just fine." She said as she made her way towards the Auditorium, still standing by the boy's side.

Mr. Sakagami

Image

"Ah yes, another year full of new students... how delightful it is to see them running free, isn't it Sherman?" Mr. Sakagami said as he spoke to his pet bird. He was currently behind the curtains, feeding his Border Canary his daily meal. "I suppose I should get a move on, don't want to keep my children waiting, now do I?" He said as he fixed his tie to make himself appear more presentable. Mr. Sakagami honestly didn't expect his bird to reply to him or anything like that, it was only a matter of a Master and pet bond. He picked up his bird's cage and placed it in the stage's wings.

"Alright... let's make a good impression..." He mumbled to himself as the curtains opened, reveling only himself, a microphone, and it's stand. He smiled as he heard his students clap in his presence. Mr. Sakagami approached the microphone and tapped on it, making sure it was on. After doing so, he looked up at the audience full of children with special powers and took in a deep breath.

"Welcome everyone to BlossomCrest Private Academy!" He started off as he spread his arms out. "As some of you know already, I am the founder of this here school, and you should know that I made this school not only for you children to roam freely for your stay, but for you to know that's it's fine to be a 'freak' as the humans may call it. Look around! Some of you must be surprised to see so many students with amazing abilities, hm? All that I hope is that you'll take advantage of this chance to be around other special children like yourselves."

"However... now we need to cover all the boring things." He said with a sigh. Those who had been able to spend time with Mr. Sakagami know that he's just as full of a child's spirit as the students themselves. "The rules of this school is strict and there is no reason whatsoever you should break them. One of these rules would be no bullying. If you are seen picking on another student, then you shall be restricted by certain rights, or expelled from the school. Another one of our rules is no drugs, alcohol, or any of those harmful chemicals will step foot in my school. Indeed, some of you are at a legal age, but as long as you're here, there will be none of that in this school. Following that, is your time restrictions. Students may not roam the halls of the school past 12:00 AM. If you are caught, same consequences apply. However, there are acceptations if you're a werewolf. But there were only 3 werewolves who were registered in this school year, don't you dare try making up an excuse like that when you're not such a creature."

"Moving on to your dress code and class rules. As you may have noticed, you haven't received your uniforms yet. Never fear, they're all cleaned and folded on the top of your beds. At the end of orientation when you receive your room keys and get settled in your dorms, you will now have to wear your uniform at all school hours. I know they may not be the most stylish of outfits, however, it is required during first period, second, third, lunch, electives, and so on. The only time you may dress freely is either on special occasions or in your own dorms. As for your class' rules, your teachers will gladly lecture you on that." He said as he winked in the direction of the teacher's against the wall.

"And now my dear children, I'll have to leave you with that. Most of you should have the common sense to know what to do and not in a school, especially in one that's such a important part of your lives. Although, before I let you go, please know that I am free to talk to any of my students. I love making bonds with each and everyone one of you, seeing how talented and individual you all is one of my favorite advantages of this job. Just stop by my office or catch me in the hallways if you need anything." With that, he took took a bow and turned to leave the stage.

Suddenly, the intercom came on.

"All students are required to receive their dorm keys and get settled in. Your keys will be waiting for you at the table provided at the front of the Auditorium. Early tomorrow will be when you start your classes. Your schedule is located inside your uniform's pocket. In the mean time, get familiar with the school and have a great day!"

The sudden start of clapping jolted Dale and caught hold of his attention. "Oh crap! It's starting" He quickly bolted into a jog through the open doors of the auditorium. "I'll talk to you later Mo- Miss Akiyama." He called back as he hurried to take a spot in the crowd. He settled in to catch the intro of the dean. "As some of you know already, I am the founder of this here school, and you should know that I made this school not only for you children to roam freely for your stay, but for you to know that's it's fine to be a 'freak' as the humans may call it.

'Humans'? echoed an elderly yet familiar voice. That's an interesting term of word for the man too use. Dale blinked at the voice. He had almost forgotten about the voice in the back of his head. He pulled up the the edge of his sleeve to get a better look at his tattoos. The 'snakes' were wriggling slightly as the voice spoke. For a school that is supposedly founded on the idea of educate people on how to responsibly use their powers, would it not be counter productive to differentiate the students for the rest of of the world?

Dale checked around him to see if anyone was in hearing distance before whispering back to the spirit dwelling in his arm. "You've been awfully quite today." Oh I just didn't want to interrupt your conversation with cow tits. That got a very pointed glare from Dale. "I thought I told you not to call her that." One of the more annoying aspects of his 'tenant's' personality Dale had learned was Crom's rather perverse sense of humor. The constant sarcasm and innuendo could become quite grating at times, and the mischievous old spirit seemed to take a particular joy out of pushing Dale's buttons.

And I thought I would never see the day you started following an older woman around like a lost puppy. But I digress. Crom metaphorically waved off the ire he was invoking. I still must say I find this school to be a bit odd. While I can understand the wisdom giving youngsters a safe place to experiment with their abilities, I can't help but wonder how this Sakagami lad managed too organize a facility like this. "It just seems like a normal high school to me. For the most part." And that's the problem... "What do you..."

...school past 12:00 AM. If you are caught, same consequences apply. However, there are acceptations if you're a werewolf. But there were only 3 werewolves who were registered in this school year, don't you dare try making up an excuse like that when you're not such a creature. Dale perked his head right back up in surprise. Werewolves!? That... didn't bode well in Dale's mind. He had past experiences with those before, and they hadn't been pretty. That's what I mean. Crom confirmed. We are talking about a building filled with unique abilities stemming from different backgrounds. You know well that not everything gets along well in the supernatural world. I'm surprised that the place hasn't already exploded into a riot in it's history. Dale couldn't argue with that. And now that he actually thought about it, he suddenly felt a little less sure of his decision to enroll here.

But he would have to put that sort of concern aside. The dean had finished his speech, Dale only paying half attention to it, and an announcement had come over the intercom about dorm key's being handed out. Being on of the few people already standing near the entrance when the dean had finished, Dale naturally took this opportunity to grab his key before the giant throng of people could start crowding the table. After that he just headed back to his dorm. Entering the room he barely gave the place a glance before unceremoniously tossing his bag onto one of the beds, nonchalantly declaring it his by the act. Then he tried to determine if the place had a bathroom in it and, more importantly, see if the dorm came equipped with a shower. He wanted to try and at least clean up a little before going off to explore the campus.

Unfortunately, Dale had forgotten to dismiss the Wisp he had ordered to guard his belongings earlier and that he was sharing this room with another person.

Yuji Yakano

As Yuji walked into the auditorium after speaking to the small group. They all seemed to walk their own ways. Yuji sighed, he was thankful that he had a break, he was running out of what he knew to do. Yuji looking around decided that the seats were to crowded try and fit in. He walked to a corner where there was no one there and set down his bag of stuff not trusting to leave it outside were it could be taken. "Those people were interesting" he muttered to himself. thinking about the group. Girl with white hair seemed nice, Miiko was very friendly (even though he ran into her), The guy with black hair was so quite he could not get a read on him, Basara looked like a kid but that did not seem to hurt his confidence. Over all they seemed like a nice group, although they were in different year's.

Yuji looked at the crowd there were a lot of different kinds of people here as he would expect. The Amount of different kind of students were as varied as their powers. There were punks messing with each other, really excited and high spirited, moody and more. There seemed to be a lot more first years then the others from what he could tell. There were even people using their powers openly and very showy such as one student who jumped around to land in his seat. After a bit more the Lights dimmed and a man walked out onto the stage. This must be the principal.

The man Begin to give his speech, explaining the rules and about himself. For some reason Yuji got a bad feeling in his gut. "I don’t trust that man... Yuji thought to himself. Yuji was a man who was suspicious of most people and followed his gut and right now his gut was telling him something was not right. This school was very suspicious but that was something for another day. The speech ended and Yuji picked up his key. "Roommate hun?"

Yuji walked down the halls using the map he had saw the white haired girl give the black haired boy. It took him around five minutes to find his room. Room 283. Yuji unlocked the door and walked in. There were several bag's on the bed in front of the door. Yuji walked over and sat down on the bed that was to the left. "Roommate ...this will be interesting .......hope he is not a jerk"

The young male listened as the headmaster spoke on about rules, carefully making a mental note of each so that he wouldn't happen to be break them. He doubted he would get any fights. Hearing there was such a thing as werewolves in this school was unexpected and shocked him to some extent. Part of his liked to believe he was just kidding, trying to lighten the mood or something people liked to do nowadays. Sora watched as students were dismissed, everyone once again crowding around to try and leave all at once. This time, however, he waited for people to go first as there wasn't a risk of arriving late.

Once he had gotten out, the animal lover searched for his dorm key. He still remembered his dorm number, 296. There wasn't many keys left after most of everyone else had taken theirs. Taking his key, her walked off. Now that he had a map thanks to that kind girl, finding his dorm again wasn't hard. It seemed his roommate wasn't here yet, since it was still only his luggage outside the door. Grabbing his bags, Sora managed to get his dorm door open and took a peek inside before stepping in. "Wow..." It was impressive. He really didn't expect it to be as neat as this. As expected, there were two beds. Sora has first pick, it seemed, so he chose the bed farthest away from the door.

However, before that, he looked around the dorm like a curious child would. There was a TV, a balcony, and two study desks. Sora checked the AC and the heating to see weither or not they actually worked, to his amazement they did. It seemed that there was only one bathroom though. He could already foresee future problems with his roommate. Speaking of which, he hoped his roommate wasn't rude. Hopefully not those types of roommates he would often see in dramas, where they were rude, loud and messy. What were the chances of that though? Although he was very satisfied with his room, he couldn't help but feel as though a bit bland. Hey, If he had time maybe he could redecorate some things. However, for now, he would leave it be.

As the headmaster had stated, his uniform was already neatly folded on his bed. Glancing at it, it also wasn't as bad as he imagined it to be, nor as bad as the headmaster had put it. Checking the pockets, he soon found the schedule. A frown soon placed itself upon his face. Wonderful. It seemed as though he had physical education every single day. Well, his gym teacher was going to hate him, he could just feel it. Still, other classes didn't seem so bad. He was the rare few that liked taking notes and going to learn, maybe because in class was the only time he didn't look as lonely. Putting his schedule back where he had found it, Sora re-folded the uniform and went to unpack his belongings. It didn't take very long, so he was done within 20 minutes. Making sure everything was organized, he took his dorm key back and went back outside, pocketing it.

Alright. Now to go and find something to do for the entire day...

Momo had continued walking swiftly down the shiny hallway, hearing Dale not too far behind her. The school was really...clean. She knew that a bunch of people probably came before the new school year began to clean up from lasts years messes... but that would take such a long time with a lot of hard work. All the shoe racks clean, only to be dirtied again by peoples muddy shoes. The floors and walls of the school all polished clean, only to be damaged. And last but not least, the most luxurious part in Momo's opinion, the dorm rooms. Damn, if she were to wake up everyday with her room as spotless as the dorm rooms are at the beginning of the year, she wouldn't touch a thing and would make sure everything stayed the same. She sure as hell hoped all the students were thankful for what they got.

As herself and Dale neared the auditorium, she could already hear the loud noises of many people inside. She was okay with being in crowds, but not large and noisy ones. "Oh boy."
she mumbled underneath her breath as they both came close to the auditorium. She didn't know why she was so nervous....and annoyed. This happens at the beginning of the year, every year. It's just so the students know what they're doing and where to go so they weren't running around like lost puppies. Even so, she hated being stuck in a gym full of kids and hearing the same lecture she hears every year about the rules and what not. But she had to remember, it was for the students.

As the inched closer to the auditorium, it turned out Mr. Takiyama was there as well, looking like he's trying to decide whether to go or ditch. It might be something new for the students, but it was the same old thing for all the teachers...and Momo could somehow relate to what Mr. Takiyama was feeling right now.

"Oh! Morning! Good morning." Mr. Takiyama finally managed to say after stuttering a bit. Maybe he was nervous, too. Overall, Momo returned with a smile. "Good morning, Mr. Takiyama." Momo said, bowing her head slightly in greeting. Suddenly, a clapping sound roared from the auditorium making Momo flinch slightly, seeing as she didn't expect it. 'Looks like it's starting...' Momo thought, giving out a sigh. Before she knew it, Dale rushed past her, seeming eager to get in and join.

"I'll talk to you later Mo- Miss Akiyama." Dale said as he rushed past herself and Mr. Takiyama. She chuckled quietly, giving out a small wave to the boy. "Talk to you later." She called back, watching him run into the auditorium. She could hear Mr. Sakagami beginning to give a speech. She looked up at Mr. Takiyama, realizing he was still keeping the door open for her. "Oh, thank you. Let's catch up sometime....okay?" She smiled again as she walked through the entrance, now focusing on Mr. Sakagami up on the stage.

Momo walked over to the back of the row of chairs and stood...seeing as all the chairs were already taken. Mr. Sakagami was beginning the speech about rules and expectations, what to do and what not to do. She knows what it's all about. She knows that she has to explain the class rules to the kids once it gets to her time to....

Once she thought she was about to fall asleep standing up, Mr. Sakagami finally concluded his talk. She looked around at all the students, trying to see what students looked like they'd be in her class based on their age....

The intercom suddenly came on, saying exactly that. All the sudden, all the students got up and went to receive their dorm keys. Geez, it was so loud. Momo stayed back behind, waiting for all the students to exit before doing so.

Miiko was so excited she could hardly contain herself to the small space of a chair. When the speech was finally over, she jumped up with the rest of the masses and began heading for the doors. She found the table that the man had talked about and got her key, then headed to her room. Who was she sharing a room with? She wondered. Was he/she neat? What if they had bad habits or smelled bad? She began to over think this whole roommate thing and felt her heart rate incline with the amount of panic.

"Calm down," Miiko whispered to herself, clutching the key to her chest as she made her way back to the room where she had left her bag. In front of the door was a weird floating thing and someone else's bag. She knelt down in front of the glowing ball with awe, wondering what it could possibly be. Should she touch it? No, it could sting her. Miiko picked up her bag and unlocked the door, trying to figure out a way around the glowing orb without touching it.

Maybe she should wait for her roommate? Miiko closed the door and placed her bag back on the floor. She decided it would be best to wait as she had no idea what the little floating orb was capable of. Sometimes the smallest things had the greatest power.

Kazuki entered the auditorium a minute or two late. Thankfully, not many people seemed to notice as he took his spot. With a smile he though "At least I didn't miss it," however, his smile faded a tad as the school rules were listed. Kazuki himself didn't have a problem with the rules. His shadow, however, tended to cause trouble for him. His shadow could cause misunderstandings in either the bullying or roaming around past twelve departments, but Kazuki really hoped that didn't happen. He decided not to think about that right now, and instead tried to listen to the rest of what Mr. Sakagami was saying.

He was kind of excited about having a roommate, and wondered what kind of personality and ability the guy would have. Grabbing his room key, he headed back to the dorms. Once he settled in, he'd be able to meet up with a lot of new people. He smiled, excited at the thought of all the people he would meet and the diversity he'd seen on the faces of all the other students.

After opening the door to his room, he was a little disappointed to see that his roommate hadn't yet made it back to the room. "Well~ He'll show up sooner or later." Kazuki began to unpack all of his things, choosing the bed at the far side of the room away from the door. Then, he actually noticed the room. How he'd missed it, he had no idea. His mouth kindly dropped open as he gazed around. It was much larger than he'd expected a dorm room to be. Much more grand, and it crossed his mind that if he hadn't had his ability and intelligence, there was no way he'd be able to attend such an apparently rich school.

He gave a laugh, hopping back onto his bed. He decided to greet his roommate before anything else and sat thinking of different ways he could greet and introduce himself. He was so absorbed in thoughts that he didn't realize his shadow had taken physical form beside him as Kazuki babbled to himself about it, practicing different ways introducing himself.

Kazuki heard a bored and somewhat annoyed voice say, "Are you stupid? Why the hell do we need a roommate? There's already two of us. It'll just be troublesome and annoying if anyone else appears, just like it was at that loud and crowded house."

"Of course we need a roommate, and it wasn't that bad at home. It was usually fun, and-" With a shock, Kazuki turned a little too quickly, causing him to fall off of the bed with a none to pleasant landing.

"Looks like you really are stupid."

Looking at what was a mirror image of himself, Kazuki said, "You! Why- How- Stop materializing without telling me!"

"I've materialized. There. You've been told."

Kazuki face-palmed thinking that there was no way something good could happen if his shadow came out. "Well, dematerialize before anyone sees you."

His mirror image looked back at him with a bored expression that turned into a sneer, "Are you an idiot?"

This other half of himself was about the only person Kazuki highly disliked. "Please disappear. It's the first day."

He smiled at Kazuki with an unsettling expression, "That's what makes it fun."

"....Disappear."

"No."

"Disappear!"

"Make me," a smirk crawled onto his face and Kazuki clenched his jaw before sighing in defeat. Problem was, he didn't know how to make his shadow do much of anything. "Like that's possible..." he mumbled, a childish sulk in his voice.

His shadow came off of the bed and ruffled his hair, still wearing his smirk, where as Kazuki immediately pushed his hand away. Suddenly, the idea of meeting new people wasn't so appealing, which made him a little depressed. This was going to be a long first day.

Basara couldn't help but smile at the girl's reaction to his statement, at the very least she was friendly. That and he appreciated having another individual nearby, made traversing the crowd easier...and something of a cue should he bump into someone. However he couldn't pay attention to the principal's long speech even if his life depended on it. Basara couldn't keep himself from fidgeting, he'd finally been awake long enough to actually feel awake and wanted to run around and have fun. When the speech was over, he leaped to his feet.

"I swear that geezer just likes to hear himself talk," he stretched while voicing his complaint. He also didn't feel like playing patient this time around. That said he turned to the girl he'd metaphorically clung to during entrance. "Guess you'll have girly stuff you wanna do when you get your dorms so I'll just part here. If you wanna play or something later just ask around for Basara... or the the white haired kid." He grimaced when he said the word but there was no point in denying his reputation. From there he talk off to retrieve his key, from there Basara dashed towards the room in question. After all, the sooner he put his stuff away the sooner he could burn off some excess energy.

Basara experienced little trouble getting to the dorms, the crowds preferred to clump up around now and chat before handling their dorms. This left his trip quick and easy, the harder part was properly picking up his stuff. Since the bags were meant for a large body, he staggered a bit before he managed to half-open half-fall through the door. The other occupant being one of the new kids from before.

"Hey it's new guy." The words came out of Basara's mouth before his brain could process further information. He heaved his stuff towards the unclaimed right end of the room before throwing himself on the remaining bed. "Guess I'm not bunking with a girl this year, that's cool...they hog the bathroom." Casual commentary flowed out of Basara's mouth without any real thought.

"I'm bored, wanna go check out other rooms?"Hyperactive energy brought Basara bouncing back to his feet again before his head tilted. "What's your name again? Sorry if you've already said it before...I think I missed it." He fully intended to get out and about regardless of the other guy's willingness to cooperate. But at the very least Basara felt he should at least know the guy's name before satisfying his energetic impulses.

Sitting in the auditorium surrounded by all those people had made Nami a bit claustrophobic. She didn't like crowds much and trying to stay focused to the headmaster's rules well sitting in a crowd of rowdy kids was starting to get on her nerves. When Nami heard that she'd be sharing a dorm with another student she couldn't help but flinch inwardly. It wasn't so much that she disliked people, it was just that she didn't enjoy socializing in general. She was never much of a talker and people didn't seem to like her very much. Plus, sharing a room with someone also meant there was an even greater chance that she could blow up and hurt someone. No need to be so negative, Nami. She thought to herself. You're going to be fine, just watch. Everything is going to be alright.

Nami waited in her seat as the crowd of people bustled out of the auditorium so that she was the last person inside. Taking a deep breath Nami looked around at the auditorium she'd be seeing for the next year. This place held so many new possibilities yet Nami knew she was to scared to try anything. Sighing Nami stood from her seat and slowly walked out of the auditorium, dragging her feet all the way. Picking up her dorm key Nami looked to see what dorm she was in, worry clenched her stomach as she pressed the small metal key into her palm, what if her roommate ended up being a jerk? What if they hate me? Nami thought as she slowly walked down the hallway. What if they're super messy or way to loud? Checking the dorm numbers as she passed by, Nami slowly stopped outside of her new room. What if- No. Just stop thinking Nami. Turning her key in the lock she sighed. Just shut up and stop thinking.

Opening the door Nami stepped inside and looked around. She couldn't help but smile a bit at the sight of the room, it was pretty cool. Looking around Nami noticed that the bed on the other side of the room seemed to already be taken. Frowning a bit she turned to the bed closest to the door and dropped her bags next to it. "Well, looks like it's just you and me." She mumbled to her self as she threw herself face first down onto the bed, knocking over her bag in the process and causing it to burst open, scattering clothes all over. Groaning Nami looked over at the clothes and sighed. "I'll pick that up later." And with that Nami's eyelids slowly closed, she hadn't even realized how tired she was until she'd laid down. I'll just rest my eyes form a minute... she thought drowsily as she fell asleep fully clothed.

Anaru

As Anaru sat down in the seat next to Basara during the principle's speech, she couldn't help but notice he was fidgeting. Her attention went from listening to the principle's speech to watching Basara twitch in the corner of her eye. Maybe it was just a nervous reaction? Maybe his powers or speeches has something to do with being a shaky chihuahua? She frowned to herself as that thought crossed her mind. "Of course he's not a chihuahua, why would I even think that?!" She shook her head slowly and sighed quietly to herself.

The orientation seemed to last for years to Anaru as she slouched into her chair. She twirled a strand of her hair with her index finger as Mr. Sakagami went on and on with his speech. After watching Basara twitch for the 10th time, her eyes darted back in front of her as she heard the loud sound of clapping echo off the walls. Anaru immediately plugged her ears as the clapping went on for about 10 seconds, then replaced with the sound of chatter. She honestly felt like she was going to pass out.

As she stood up with a uncomfortable expression on her face, she heard Basara speak up once again. Anaru's expression softened as she heard his complaint about the principle's nonstop talking and nodded. "He seems nice enough... the last part was a little creepy, but he's not so bad." She said with a soft smile. Hearing him complain like that made her think he was acting like a 9 year old, meaning he hasn't fully matured to his age just yet, both physically and emotionally.

"Guess you'll have girly stuff you wanna do when you get your dorms so I'll just part here. If you wanna play or something later just ask around for Basara... or the the white haired kid."

Anaru's small smirk had only grew as she listened to Basara. At this moment of time, she was positive that this kid hasn't matured to his age. She casually flipped her hair back and chuckled. "Oh yes, because that's what I do in my free time. Careful boy, it might rub off on you." She said in a teasing tone. Anaru thought for a moment or two about Basara's offer to play with him later. She then shrugged."Sure... let's play sometime. I'd like that." With that, she waved goodbye to the small boy and made her way towards the front to receive her key. "Room 208... got it." Anaru thought to herself as she walked out the exit. As she was making her way towards the dorms, she still had that small smile on her face. She was glad she was able to make a friend, despite the fact they've only spoken 10 sentences towards each other. Nevertheless, her smile didn't fade and she even had a little hop in her walk as she made her way towards the dorms.

As she returned to the front door of her dorm, she noticed that her luggage was gone. Her expression slowly faded at the realization as she scanned the hallways for her suitcase. Nothing. "W...What?" Anaru pulled the key out of her pocket and quickly unlocked her dorm's door, twisting the doorknob and opening the door with more force than needed. She blinked as she scanned her dorm. It seemed like someone had already been here for a while. As she scanned her surroundings, she noticed that her suitcase was placed on the other bed. Anaru sighed in relief and rushed over to her suitcase, unzipping it and looking through her bag to make sure nothing was stolen.

Axel had already gotten back to the room and was on his bed reading and listening to music at the same time when his new roommate burst in and looked around. He pointed towards her suitcases and whether she saw him or not, she ran over to it. Once she started digging through it, he took off his headphones to speak, placing his book down as he did so.
"Don't worry, I didn't dig through it or anything, I just didn't want it getting taken by someone else." he said as he rolled up to a sitting position, then stood up, stumbling a bit before forming a leg and extending a hand to shake. "Name's Axel, Axel Lerate. I'm a third year here. And, I might mention, probably the least likely to steal anything from you." As he awaited her response, he looked her over once. She seemed to be a bit of a loli, unsurprisingly, considering her white hair and golden eyes denoted innocence. She was going to be a pretty interesting roommate, though, he knew that for sure.

As Anaru was rummaging through her suitcase, she heard a male voice behind her. It obviously wasn't Basara, or anyone she knew for that matter, causing her to tense up. She closed her suitcase and looked over her shoulder to identify the voice. She was now staring blankly at what seemed like a junior with slightly shaggy dark hair. Yep, no one she's ever seen before. As he stood up to introduce himself, Anaru turned all the way around and took a step back. She was almost intimidated by him, then again, she's intimidated by anything taller than herself.

"My roommate's a male... my roommate's a male...!!" She thought to herself as she gulped. After Axel had introduced himself, Anaru reached out her hand and shook Axel's. ... I'm Anaru Furukawa... 10th grade..." Her voice came out quiet and frail as she looked up at Axel.

Yuji Yakano

Yuji turned around when he heard the door open behind him. To his surprise it was Basara the boy he had spoken with briefly before. Yuji was glad to see it was someone who seemed nice. He had shown himself to be somewhat kind before hand when he helped him and Miiko. Yuji got up from the work he was doing. Already he had used his power to make some light modifications to the part of the room near his bed. He had made a hidden safe that was perfectly blended into the wall. he had put his journal into there for safe keeping. Yuji had also unpacked his bags for the most part. The few different outfits’ he had were put into the closet and the other other thing he brought with him, his laptop was put onto a nearby desk. Yuji was not afraid of this being stolen for he had used his power to make the laptop and it could be tracked for several miles. There was also advanced programs for keeping people from logging in unless it was him such as retina scanner finger scanner and more.

He also made some hidden security cameras; they only covered his side of the room and the door. These cameras were linked up to Yuji's laptop; it was a safety measure that he had been living with for some time. When people know you can have anything and everything, theft was a common thing. Yuji made sure that they would not violate his roommate-to-be privacy.

When Basara entered the room he commented on him being a new guy and that he was happy he did not need to share a room with a girl."Odd they let boy’s and girl's share rooms?" Yuji thought as Basara sat down on the other bed. Basara talked for a bit saying that he had forgotten Yuji's name and if he wanted to check out some of the room's and see who was nearby. It was clear that he was hipped up and was ready to go. He may be 16 but he seems to be a kid in both appearance and mentality. Surprisingly Yuji was fine with that, for he had always wanted a younger brother.

"My name is Yuji, Basara-san, I am looking forward to living with you." Yuji said in his most friendly tone. "And sure I would love to check out the other rooms with you in just a bit but there is something that we should do first. Seeing as we are to live together we should set some ground rules. No messing with each other’s stuff without permission, no using our powers on each other and we respect each other. Those are some of the rules I would like to set, if you have any rules let me know." Yuji fished and stood up and held out his hand to shake.

"Cool but there's no need to be so polite Yuji, after all we'll be sharing the same room," Basara hesitated when Yuji held out his hand.

"Um, regarding powers...mine works on contact so shaking hands would kinda break that rule. Unless of course you don't mind your body being set back to the best its been in the past fifteen minutes, the fact I can't turn if off is why I'm stuck like this." Basara put his hands in his pockets and began rocking on his toes.

"Beyond that: don't touch my toothbrush, there's nothing you can break that I can't fix. While it's embarrassing to admit I have two younger siblings I may get calls from and potentially require you to pretend to be me since they don't know about my ability. There's also a rather harmless yet humiliating family secret that I'll elaborate on if it ever comes up...I just expect you to keep those secret too." Basara screwed his face a bit in thought to see if there was anything else.

"Beyond that I can't think of anything, but I'd prefer if you did the knocking and know that if I forget my key: lock the door anyways, it won't slow me down." Having said everything he thought necessary, Basara opened the door again before walking out of the room.

"Any door you wanna visit in particular...or we doing this at random?"

Upon hearing Basara's powers Yuji pulled back his hand. Yuji was a little stumped at the odd request of pretending to be him for his younger siblings. Yuji was confidant he could act well but he had never been asked to pretend he was part of someones family. It's was odd but i think i can pull it off.

After listening to the rest of Basara's rules Yuji followed him out of the room. "Personally seeing how this is my first year here I would ask you to lead us around. I am bad at getting around new places but after i have gone though it once I am fine. If we need some sort of goal now.....how about we try to find some of the people that we were talking with before hand, Miiko or the wight haired girl. we could also go around the school exploring" Yuji spoke with the general curiosity. There was plenty Yuji wanted to see and he wanted to get the lay out of the school. The other guy who they had spoken with seemed to be a loner so he thought he should leave him out of the search.

"If we can though I personally am not good with crowd's at least for now I am not, so if we can i would like it if we could avoid anything with too many people." Yuji put he's last request in at the last second.

Basara could only tilt his head again from Yuji's strange request. Well to him it was strange to no want to be around as many people as possible. But he had to accept some people had their own preferences.

"Well unless you can turn into a dog, I don't think we'll be finding either any time soon. We COULD just go door-to-door and hope any Miiko on the slide plate is the right one, but that's not exactly fast either..." Basara scratched his head in irritation, "beyond that it's either we do something stupid enough to catch the entire dorm or do something rowdy." He didn't state the obvious fact that both would draw a huge crowd which is exactly what Yuji had just stated he didn't want.

"If you want to look around, we can explore most of the campus. But I think the club rooms are locked, but that shouldn't be too much and issue I don't think. If you care about teachers: Yama-sensei might be willing to share ice cream, Mr. Norling may be willing to play, and Yam-chan as a whole is just fun." Basara knew his speech was very rude concerning the teachers...but it was his honest opinion in regards to the bunch. In fact, he actually ignored most of the staff in regards to his summary and only named the three he found the most interesting.

Axel smiled warmly, and responded, "Pleasure to meet you, Anaru."Axel paused for a few moments, then said matter-of-factly, "You're confused as to why a guy is your roommate, you were taken off-guard by my size, and something happened to you personally from an early age that left you shy about change, parental divorce, or your powers making you unlike everyone else, perhaps? Sorry if that last one was too personal, but I've never been one for learning the hard way about someone's past. As for the roommate deal, I assume the faculty put it into place to help break down barriers between genders, it's been like this forever." He leaned back and stretched a bit, his T-shirt riding up just enough to show a bit of skin and the waistband of his briefs. "Anyways, if you have any questions about anything, feel free to ask. Just so you're not left in the dark, my power is psychic manipulation via spiritual output. Or aura manipulation, if you prefer the non-sciencey version. Yours?"

Anaru frowned slightly and released Axel's hand as he went on about how she's taken off guard because of his size, why she's afraid of change, and some parts of her past. "You say it like it's no big deal... then again, I suppose it isn't something to fuss over so much... She mumbled in a lost tone as she sat down on her bed, staring down at her shoes. She cleared her throat before continuing. "Well, I don't really have a choice but to believe you when you say it's been like this forever, I suppose."

Anaru only nodded as he explained his powers. She didn't exactly know what Psychic Manipulation was, but not wanting to bother Axel with a explanation, she assumed it was things like reading people's minds, their pasts, etc, only because that's what he just did now. Anaru looked up at Axel as he asked what her powers were. "I can sprout angelic wings, fly, and heal anything with the touch of my hand. Plants, people, animals... all of that." She said with a slightly proud tone.

#, as written by Wake
There were some things in life that people took for granted. Just little things in life that one wouldn't think about as being a luxury. Limitless access to running hot water being one of them in Dale's mind. So when he found that his dorm bathroom did come equipped with a shower he was naturally feeling rather relieved and he immediately slipped into it.

He spent the next few minutes in much needed stress relief. He had more than a few doubts about the school that had grown over the short time today, and now that he could quell the anxiety a little he could think on things with a clear head. "Okay." He started. "So lets go over what we know so far..."

The school Dean seems to differentiate the student body from the outside population. Whether that be a slip of the tongue or just paranoia on our part is up for debate at the moment. Dale nodded to that. "And from what he said there are some no human students in the school, so he may have been referring to them when he spoke. 'Course that brings up a few concerns as well." Yes, but judging by his rules against harassment I think you won't have to worry too much about getting mauled again. Dale cringed at that and let on of his hand brush up against his side where an elongated bite mark was. There was a reason why he had flinched when he heard that werewolves were attending.

Well, at any rate its too early to say if this place is a bait 'n switch or not. I'd say you give it a few weeks 'fore you decide whether to jump the ship or not. Dale agreed with that assessment and didn't say anymore on the matter. After that point was filled mostly with silence, with nothing but the running of water to fill the void. This gave Dale a little bit of time to think more on what he was going to do for the day. A few questions floating around in his head over if he should join a club or not, and what places he should check out once he got out wandering the halls. But inevitably the silence was broken again when Crom interjected once more.

By the way, I'm picking a up a message from the Wisp. I think you're room mate just walked in. Dale felt a wave of annoyance hit him and he let out a sigh. He had forgotten about that. This was one thing he wasn't looking forward too. Dale distrusted people on principle so having a roommate was going to be... interesting. But like it or not it was something he was going to have to deal with the other boy eventually.

Then he remembered the other thing that Crom mentioned. The Willow-o-wisp. It was still guarding Dale's bag on the bed. It's probably wouldn't be a good idea to leave that floating in a 'territorial' stance in the unlikely event that his roommate got a bit too close too his bed. Reaching out with his conscious, Dale touched the Wisp spirit and dismissed it from his service, allowing it to wander off if it so pleased. He then continued washing himself, wanting to take a few more minutes too finish up. Well more like to delay things as long as possible if he was honest.

Obediently heading it's summoners commands, the Wisp hovered silently above the bed and kept surveillance for potential thieves. When the-child-of-grass-hair entered the room it sunk lower over the bag in preparation of any intrusion. Silently it tracked her movements as she moved about the room, and sent a signal to the summoner that she was nearby. It kept it's vision focused on the child for the preceding moments, ready for if she came close.

Then, seconds later, it received instruction that it no longer needed to protect the vessel-of-items, and given permission to leave. Confused as to why it would be dismissed after reporting a possible thief it none the less decided to float toward the child-of-grass-hair now that it had freedom of movement again. Curious, it came close to her face, scanning her with it's vision before backing away slight and beginning a slow orbit around her.

Miiko

Miiko had been sitting on the floor when the glowing thing approached her. She watched in awe as it started to circle around her and had the urge to touch it. "No, it might hurt you." The green haired girl reminded herself and slowly stood up, walking over to her belongings that were on the bed she had claimed. Miiko unzipped her well worn black suitcase and took inventory of her belongings to make sure that no one outside had gone through her thing.

Miiko hadn't brought much since she knew that they would be given uniforms, but that was okay since she didn't own much anyways. She had brought two pairs of pajamas, a few shirts pants, skirts, and her only dress. As well as plenty of undergarments and her favorite flower clip that matched her hair. Naturally, Miiko's hair was white but because she was missing a vital pigment that colored one's hair; she didn't like the thought of missing something and so Miiko had dyed her hair green.

"Should I unpack?" She wondered aloud and turned around to take in the whole room. Miiko hoped her roommate wouldn't mind that she took the bed furthest from the door. She looked down at the bed across from hers and realized that the uniform belonged to one of a male. "I'm sharing a room with a boy?" Was there some sort of mistake? She wondered as she zipped her suitcase up and sat back down on the floor next to the dresser.

She shivered as a thought slithered into her mind. The thought of actually belonging somewhere, that she actually had a chance to succeed here; scared her slightly. Miiko had been told she was worthless by so many people; she had grown up knowing that no one loved her and that's why she had no parents and why no foster parent had ever adopted her.
