BasicsImage
Age: 8
Gender: Female
Race: Spirit Vampire
Family: Father (deceased), Mother (deceased)

Personal
Personality: Eve is a very quiet and timid child, often keeping in the background. She isn't very noisy and often goes by unnoticed by her surroundings. However, when people do approach her, she does appear rather adult for her age; which probably has to do with her manner of speech and lack of emotion. However, always carrying a stuffed animal around, she still has an air of innocence and childishness about her. Although she does not often show her emotions when people are around, there are moments when she randomly does which can confuse people. These outburst can be anything from crying to being mad. Though, as she never raises her voice the latter often goes bye rather unnoticeable. Well, unless she starts throwing things at you. To sum it all up; you can never know where you quite have her or how she is going to react to what you say or do. Usually she is calm and calculated about everything, which makes the few times she acts different quite confusing to people. Her childhood does have to do with her personality, a lot. Added to that, Eve doesn't trust easily. However, once she does, she will always remain loyal to that person. Though she doesn't show it, she loves to be praised and that she did something good... as she views herself as a monster. Perishable that is what she is, or at least so she has been treated for as long as she can remember.
Sexual Orientation: At this age it is still irrelevant.
Likes: Animals, stuffed animals and toys, strawberries, kind people, music, books, cake, art and spiders.
Dislikes: Rude and mean people, confection, vegetables, pain, boredom and loneliness.
Biographic History: The first three years of Eve's life were good and she was happy. However, as the result of an accident involving her mothers death, Eve was locked into a basement room to spend the rest of her life there. It was dark and dank and empty of all life but her. She never got to see daylight and never got to feel human contact. She was never told why she couldn't go out anymore and why she had to remain in there, she was never told why she didn't even get to attend her own mothers funeral. Though only having a very few memories of her mother and exactly how she died remained a mystery, Eve could never help but feel it was somehow her fault. All she could remember from her mothers death was pain and blood; but if it was her own or her mothers she couldn't make out. Anyhow; the years passed and although her father would come visit her regularly and speak to her through a window in the wall, Eve was always very lonely. She missed the feeling of touching people and of hearing voices beside her fathers. She missed being able to play and learn. She missed her freedom. Her father used to call her a monster, and in that way tried to explain why she was locked away. But Eve still never understood. Her father was a cruel man, and it showed especially when he spoke to her. He was cold and unfeeling and it was clear he felt nothing but hatred for his own daughter. Yet he was all she had, and she clung to the belief that he loved her and that he would one day let her go out if she just was a good girl. She needed this in order to survive. All she wanted was to make her father proud and happy. All she needed was to be praised by him, just once. She needed to hear it just once and then she would be able to endue anything. Needless to say, Eve was insanely loyal to him.

ImageThe day when he would finally let her go outside came, but not without pain. Her father finally, without trying to evade the subject, explained to her why she usually had to be locked in that room. She was a spirit wielder, and a dangerous one to that; with the power of killing people by just looking at them. However, as a consequence to that she would not only kill her bonded, but also a part of herself; meaning she could only use this power for so long, until she finally was destroyed too. She was the one who had accidentally murdered her own mother, and that was the reason as to why her father despised her so much- he more feared her than hated her, but the fear translated to hatred. Pretending not to do either anymore, though, he father brought her up into the house and let her live with them for a while. She was treated fearfully by everyone in the household, and though she could still not fully comprehend why, she was happy. Finally she could be with people again, and finally she was allowed to see the sun and flowers and the whole world outside, which was so beautiful.

Eventually, Eve befriended the son of a bonded human working as a servant in the manor. She would go and visit him every day and they had many found and memorable moments together. He was also one of the few who didn't fear her. Without knowing it, she formed a bond with him. Yes, Eve couldn't have been happier. Everything she had ever wanted had come true and she was living happily with her father. Or well, not happily. He would still scold her and treat her with hatred and fear, not to mention continuing to call her a monster. Eve didn't mind, though. She loved her father for letting her go outside, she loved him as much as she loved the world and all the beauty it contained.

Exactly two months after she had been let out from the basement, her father approached her and asked her to do something for her. He told the little girl that if she killed a specific woman he would be very proud of her. He told her that if she did that for him, she could have all the books and toys and strawberries in the world, and he would love her like she loved him. Unfortunately though expectantly, Eve believed him. So, she secretly traveled with him to the castle of the blood vampires and hid in the room where she was told. Despite fear and knowing that she would later feel regret for this, Eve executed her task. However, shocked by the situation and what she had done when she saw the queens body, she lost control over her powers and killed her own father in the process... just after he had praised her. Afraid of what would happen next, Eve started running; running as fast as she could. She fled the castle and into the night of
December, where a snow storm was raging. She doesn't remember for how long she ran; only pain from the cold, pain from the loss of her father and what she had done, and pain from something else. She didn't know what it was, until suddenly the psychic string which kept the servant boy and her connected- was severed.

ImageSomewhere in the middle of the forest; the same moment the boy died, Eve fell unconscious and into the snow. When she woke up a whole three days later, she was in a small cottage. An old woman had found her and taken her in. With her, was a black cat; the same black cat which had belonged to the queen. Although the feline creature first showed aggression towards Eve, they both soon realized they were the same. Both their masters had died/been murdered. It didn't matter who did it. The two of them had always just been following orders by the people they loved. And now the two of them were hurting. By looking past their differences the two befriended each other, or at least became allies. Although they cannot speak to each other like familiars and masters do, they both work hard to keep one another safe and company. However, they know that they one day will have to part ways. After all, daemons are the creatures of blood vampires and she is a spirit vampire. When that day comes, they will no longer be friends or allies, but will be forced to face each other as enemies. However, that day has yet to come and will not be for quite a while. So for now, the two of them will just travel together and keep each other safe; as what they decided requires.

Appearance
Hair Color: Silver
Eye Color: Turquoise Blue
Brief Appearance Description: Eve is as expected of most children; rather short in hight. Added to that she is underweight as a result of the lack of food she had during the years in the cellar (she wasn't given much food and when she started living in the manor; she never ate too much). Her skin if fair, like her fathers and although she is his biological child, she doesn't possess much more features from him. Actually, she is the spitting image of her mother; with her soft features, slender body built and long, silver hair. Only her eyes differ and skin tone differ. Usually, she can be seen wearing rags and carrying around a stuffed animal. One of her eyes is covered with an eye patch, for reasons yet to be discovered.

So begins...

Eve bravely fought her way through the deep snow of the forest as she made her way towards the town. Her cheeks were red and her eyes water, not to mention that her lips were ever so slightly blue from the cold. She was shivering to the bone, and was sure that if she didn't find any shelter soon, her silver hair would freeze and become like solid ice. Truly, that probably wouldn't happen, but it was something her imagination liked to fantasize up.

Beside the child, a little black cat was fighting even harder to get forwards. After a while, Eve stopped walking and carefully picked the cat up, holding him in her arms in order to keep both of them warm, and make the stride easier for the daemon. "Y-you poor little thing," she stammered out as she shivered, holding the creature very carefully, "you must be as c-cold as I am..." The cat mewed once loudly to confirm the girls guess, and then rubbed his head against her shoulder, purring softly. The child couldn't help but let out a soft giggle as a result of the daemons actions.

Eve suddenly stopped in her trail when she noticed the forest was no longer surrounding her, and ahead was the town spreading out between the hills. Biting her lip, she considered turning around and running back into the forest. But she was cold and hungry, and knowing that if she didn't find shelter and food soon, things wouldn't look good for her. So taking a deep breath, Eve started making her way down the hill and towards the town, clutching the daemon in a tight grip, though not so tightly that it would hurt. She just hoped no one would find her or recognize her. Most likely no one would. Not even one person had seen her when she entered of exited the room. However, there was still a chance someone knew.

As memories of what had happened a few days ago flashed through Eve's mind, she could feel tears starting to spring to her eye. She was still horrified by what she had done, not just to him but to the queen too. She was horrified by the whole killing process in general... and she was afraid for her friend whom she had not felt in a long time. Actually, with each day that passed Eve became weaker and weaker. She didn't understand why, and wished she had the answer... but knew not what it could be. No one had ever explained the needs of a spirit vampire to her. Everything was just so confusing... all she wanted was to return home and for everything to return to normal. Even if it would have meant going back to the dungeon, it was better than being out there and not understanding the world. It terrified her.

Once she reached the town, she glanced around with her one eye, still shivering with cold. She was wearing nothing but rags and her feet were bare. Wandering around like this for several hours had chilled her to the bone, and it felt like her legs wouldn't carry her anymore. Feeling the great urge to rest, Eve leaned against a house wall and slowly sunk into the snow, still cuddling the daemon. Before she knew it, she passed out.

Daedelus was minding her own business reading a book when she looked outside. The weather seemed to have gotten worse. She decided to go and take her a nice warm shower. It was after all night time. As she bathed she reflected on her past. Her once bright blue eyes were now a dull honey color. A sign of her sadness.

Her past was a long rough one. One she hoped she would never have to remember. Shivering slightly she got dressed in her silken black and pink PJ's when her pup, Elvis started barking at the door.

On her guard, Dae carefully walked down the stairs, her Honey eyes darker and much more dangerous than before. "What is it Elvis?" She whispered when she reached the base of the stairs. He started pawing at the door almost whining. He turned and looked at her then back at the door. Thinking that he had to go out, she opened the door only to see him bolt out and sniff her neighbors house. "Elvis!" She called out feeling the chill of winter.

She ran trying to see what the mutt was pawing at only to see it was a little silver haired girl passed out in the snow only wearing rags. Without thinking she spoke in her native tounge, Italian, "Oh mio! Una bambina!" (oh my! A little Girl!) She noticed the black feline in her arms and sighed. "Elvis see if you can get the kitten in there, don't eat it!" She warned as she picked the little girl up in her arms and carried her into the house.

She'd set the girl down on the couch and covered her with blankets with a warm bowl of soup placed on the table with a cup of hot tea. For the little kitten she made sure it had a bowl of warm milk. Elvis huffed and seemed to lay on the floor next to Dae who had sat down in front of her fireplace her eyes on the little girl, and the kitten. "Elvis, that kitten will get your bed tonight. You sleep with me." Elvis seemed to whine at that statement but nothing more.

"Come on little one.. wake up." Daedelus would whisper.

Gray walked swiftly along the snow covered streets of the town surrounded in the darkness of the night. The lamp posts being the only source of light. They gleamed with rays of light that showed the snow flakes falling down and landing daintily on the ground. He didn't have any problem walking through the snow. His eyes glowing a bright crimson red as he scanned the streets for victims. Strangely enough, nobody ever notice his crimson eyes. He kept casually looking around and found a girl by the bus stop looking a little lost. He realized that she went to high school with him. Perfect he thought to himself smirking a little. He approached.

"My, my. I haven't see you since high school, Jessica" he said getting a bit too close for comfort to her and started his seducing act. She blushed a little and told him she was lost because she took the wrong bus. "Well, I can show you the way to the right bus stop" he said very charmingly and tipped her chin up ever so slightly so her eyes met his. She blushed and agreed to let him lead her to the "bus stop". He walked her with her to the other side of town and the farther they got, the darker it was becoming. She questioned him a few times about where they were going, "Don't you worry a thing, everything... is... perfectly... fine" he said in an irresistible tone getting closer to her face with every word and their noses almost touched. But he had a devilish smile on his face. They got to the other side of town that was nearly pitch black. He smirked and his crimson eyes glowed in the darkness. "You know, Jessica, something about you is so... appetizing" he said with an evil grin on his face. She tried running but he grabbed her and took her into a pitch black secluded alley way. The only thing you could see were his fiery eyes.

He smashed her onto a wall and held her hand over her head so she couldn't do anything. He leaned in very close to her face and spoke very seductively, almost sounding hypnotic. "You are going to be very delicious" he said and moved his head to your neck. He opened his mouth revealing his sharp fangs and pierced her neck deep and started drinking her blood. She was screaming very loudly so he took his pale hand and covered her mouth. He kept drinking and drinking the smooth sweet blood out of her neck and into his mouth. He hit a veins causing the blood to flow faster and it overflowing down the sides of his mouth. After a while she stopped screaming and passed out. He continued drinking until she was drained and dead. He then took his teeth out of her neck and smiled sadistically with the blood dripping down his mouth. He ran back to the Morlock mansion to get washed up

Eve groaned softly and shivered slightly in her sleep before her qua eye suddenly snapped open and she glanced around in fear and confusion. Although she was shaking like an aspen leaf and still feeling cold, she did notice that where she was now- was warmer. She glanced down at the daemon in her arms, who stared at something with his big, blue eyes and didn't look very happy. When he hissed, she frowned and followed his gaze, pausing when she saw a dog. She tilted his head and found herself starting to smile slightly, weakly. He was so cute... Then her attention drew away from the dog and to the other person sitting in the room. A woman. She cringed and the smile faltered, an expression of fear flashing across the young child's face.

"W-where...a-a-am I-I?" Little Eve stuttered out, noticing the bowl of food and warm milk. Her stomach growled, but she didn't dare touch anything. At least not without the consent of the woman, or the daemon. Reluctantly, she let go of the black cat slightly so he could take a closer at her soup. He sniffed it once, flicking his tail slightly, before he relaxed and jumped down from her lap. Eve took that as a good sign. Watching the cat happily starting to leap up the milk, made her even hungrier. Pausing, Eve glanced back at the woman, blushing slightly. "M-may... I eat that?" she asked quietly in a small voice, gesturing to the soup. It was standing in front of her, but she wasn't sure. She just hoped she wasn't sounding rude.

Dae smiled softly when the little girl seemed to have awaken. She held her hand out as in gesturing to the girl that she could eat. "The food is all yours...I figured you and your feline friend would like something to warm your bones." Her voice was light and kind, as her eyes had gone back to a light blue.

"Stay as long as you like, it's been a while since I've had company..." She'd stop and stand, walking around her chair. "Indeed, there is a bathroom if you want to take a warm bubble bath, and clothing in the closet." She'd bring one finger up to her mouth as in a sort of chuckle. She seemed to have forgotten that this was just a little girl. Though she nodded and started up the stairs and clapped for Elvis to follow her.

"The dog's bed is for your kitten tonight, as the couch is yours.. my name.. is Dae."

She'd point upstairs, the smile still on her face. "When you're ready, enter the first room on the right... that's where you'll find me."

Gray...that was it. Like the color. Gray Morlock. Yet he wore black...the irony put a small smile back on Al's face as he walked, which helped make the older blood vampire seem less intimidating. Albert wouldn't say he had been scared. Nervous, yes. Intimidated, definitely. Worried, certainly. But not scared. Although some might mistake his nervousness to be a look of fearfulness, vampires were not something he was scared of. Not other vampires, anyways.

Come to think of it, as Al returned to the inn, he remembered an incident with the Morlock family not too long ago. One of them...was it Gray's father? No, no the uncle. The two did look very similar, but anyways. It was the uncle, who had been murdered, supposedly by a Spirit Vampire. That had caused quite a riot.

Briefly, he wondered if the Morlock's were going to try and lay claim to the crown as well. His mother wouldn't hear of it, he knew. 'Buying their way to the throne' she would call it. No respect for tradition and all that. Bloodlines. He supposed he'd find out soon enough. Pulling the door open, he nodded politely to the innkeepers before stepping nimbly up the stairs to the upper levels, where he and his mother were roomed.

His mother was less than amused with the arrangements, but didn't complain. Albert didn't mind at all. It was charming. Much more humble than the majestic, refurbished (and abandoned) Gothic cathedral they lived in back home. The expansive catacombs had been redone to not only be more hospitable, but to be more grand, with a dark air to it. Al preferred to romp around on the upper levels of the cathedral, staring at the stained glass windows and bidding the pigeons in the bell-tower good morning. The thing Al missed most, though, had to be the large organ. It had only been a few days since he played, but a few days too many.

He knocked on his mother's door, but upon hearing no answer, figured she was either out or sleeping already (a bit early for her, with the sun barely coming out). Resigned, he returned to his own room, covering the windows with one layer of curtains before pulling off his many layers and returning to the book he had brought with him, a dark sense of foreboding pitting in his stomach as he thought of the Morlocks, his mother and her cousin, and the poor King and Queen. Al knew he wasn't supposed to feel sympathy for the King of the Spirit Vampires, but dead was dead all the same, and deserved his sympathy. He had seen the King but once (not even met, but glanced briefly) when he was very young.

Come to think of it, wasn't there a daughter? He remembered when he was around 8, there was a big commotion when she was born. Three years later he had heard that the mother had been killed, and the daughter severely traumatized. He wasn't sure what had happened to her after that. His mother never brought her up again and Al didn't ask. She was a spirit vampire, after all, and whether she was alive to claim the throne next or dead to let the spirit's fight it out was of less concern than who was up next for the bloods.

Shrugging the thoughts from his mind, Al returned to his book, grateful for a distraction that spoke to him of simpler, gentler times.

Eve smiled at the spirit vampire woman weakly, something edging towards great fullness flashing through her aqua eye, before she turned her attention back to the bowl with soup and gingerly started eating it. Usually, she would have touched about half of the bowl. However, now she was so starved that about everything went down within minutes. Yet, despite being hungry and devouring the soup quickly, she made sure to mind her manners and not to make it seem like she was eating as fast as she actually was. Not only her father would have scolded her for that, but the cook of the family was well... and that mean old maid who would chase her through the house- she too. Now and then, Eve glanced down at the cat who was happily leaping up the milk. The shadow of a smile spread over the girls emotionless futures and for a moment lit up her usually depressed aura... before everything returned to normal again.

The little girl listened in silence as the woman spoke, a look of pure confusion crossing her face. A-a bath? What is that? She thought to herself, yet dared not ask the spirit vampiress. Instead she just nodded her head, avoiding direct eye contact as she spoke. "O-okay... thank y-you, miss..." little Eve stuttered out shyly, her voice soft and quiet, as if it had never been made for ever being raised above the tone she had just used. She glanced up at the vampiress briefly, before tilting her head, "I-I...am...Eve..." she introduced herself timidly, before watching the woman and dog walk away. She had the feeling the daemon would sleep with her this night.... like it had every night ever since they met. The little girl did wonder, though, how the spirit vampire would react... if she found out about the daemon's true identity.

Dae's eyes stayed warm as she listened to the young girl. "Tis no problem, a younger girl should never be out in the cold." She'd turn to continue up her stairs, Elvis at her feet when the girl mentioned her name. "Nice to me you Eve." She'd give a polite bow before finishing her acent. The younger girl seemed to spark a curiousity in Dae.

It had been a while since she had done anything fun, and the younger girl didn't appear to be one of the people around her town. Then again, Dae kept to herself. She didn't seem to care for the people around anyway. Getting on her beautiful gothic style bed, she patted the side, as Elvis jumped up placing himself on her other side.

"She's a young one...think we could keep her around and NOT scare her adorable kitten."

She looked at Elvis wiggling her finger, he just wagged his spotted tail and licked her cheek.

Dae laughed and laied down, placing her fingers together. She closed her eyes, letting her breathing slow.

Eve smiled weakly and then gingerly finished her meal, standing up and glancing down at the daemon who was now laying curled up on the floor, by his bowl- which now was empty. Carefully she picked him up, and he opened his eyes but didn't seem to mind. Then, she started up the staircase and towards the room where the vampiress had said she would be able to find her. Since Eve wasn't entirely sure what taking a bath meant, she didn't want to do anything wrong and therefor decided not to do anything at all... everything was just so scary.

She hesitated and then carefully knocked on the door she could sense the vampire in, holding her breath and expecting to get yelled at. Her father would always yell at her, and she had never been allowed to go even close to his bedroom. She nervously chewed her bottom lip as she glanced about, making sure she had somewhere to hide in case the woman would be angry. Her heart was pounding quickly in her chest- she didn't find anywhere she could run. What if this vampire found out about her secret? Or what if they found her? What if this kind woman would be hurt because of her? She didn't know what to do at all...

Viktor strolled down the path, his hands stuffed in his pockets and his chestnut hair gently getting ruffled by the wind. He was wearing dark clothes, and would have shamelessly melted into the night... if not his skin had been so pale, it almost seemed to glow. His expression was calm and emotionless, although a certain degree of hunger was gleaming in his pale red eyes. The vampire glanced around, pausing and coming to a halt when he suddenly caught the scent of a human. Increasing his pace, you would have thought he would be noisier as he moved through the crunchy snow- but that was not the case. His movements were swift and graceful, not making even the slightest of sounds. A small smile started to tug the corner of his lips, and he was chuckling inwardly. Viktor could somehow tell that she would be a beautiful one... even if he hadn't seen her yet.

As he saw her laying up in the tree, his suspicions had been confirmed. However, just as he spotted her up in the tree, he also saw another vampire. A blood vampire- he could sense it... but there was something off about him. Viktor tilted his head as he watched them, a small smile of amusement flashing across his lips. So, had this whimpy looking little guy already claimed her as dinner? Viktor wondered, and thought it to be shame. He would have loved devouring this pretty little human- just a little and slowly- day by day. His family did need a new feeder anyways... the last one had died so pitifully in Raphael's care.

Sighing at the thought of his brother and racking his hand through his hair before stuffing it into his pocket, Viktor leaned against a tree trunk, still smiling in amusement. The sun had already started to rise by then. Damn the short nights, he thought, if they could just last forever... "Of course the murder rates have gone up, girl..." he said calmly, gazing at her with his sparkling but deadly eyes, "the number of vampires have increased... it's only natural," his smile widened and he glinted his fangs, a dark chuckle escaping his lips.

Dae opened her eyes at the sound of the knocking. "You can come in little one." She said sitting up slightly, a smile on her face as Elvis seemed to snore away. Dae wasn't sure what to make of the younger girl, but sometimes everyone needed a friend or at least someone to talk to.

In this case it seemed as if the younger girl just needed a bit of both. "Whenever your ready or comfortable you may speak to me... do not feel pressured to do anything." Dae added on slightly before pulling the blankets up to cover her shoulders. She was a tad bit cold, but the fire in her room kept it warm enough for the woman.

Eve hugged the familiar and watched the woman wearily as she pulled up the blankets about her. The little girl nodded her head slightly, smiling weakly. "O-okay," she murmured softly, still hesitating slightly before speaking. "I-I'm tired... if it's not too much to ask for... is... is there anywhere I could go to sleep? It doesn't have to be anything comfortable or nice or anything... j-just somewhere safe..." she said in a small voice, her soft voice barely audible.

The daemon watched the dog with narrowed eyes, his ears and tail twitching nervously. Eve could imagine that the cat most likely had had bad experience with dogs in the past, but still didn't understand why the daemon was so... unfriendly towards Elvis. He was cute and didn't seem to be bad at all. Besides, if it would so be that the dog actually attacked... well... he wouldn't stand a chance against a daemon... unless he was one himself, of course. Eve didn't think that was the case, however. "H-hey..." she mumbled to the cat, "Draco... please calm down, okay? B-be nice..." she urged him, and though her voice was soft and quiet, there was a slight tone of authority in it. The way she said it... didn't fit a child at all. The cat hesitated, looking up at her strangely for a moment... before relaxing in her arms.

Dae listened to the younger girl and smiled. "The couch is all yours, then again there is also a spare bedroom across the hall. The house is yours to roam as much as you like..." She'd pause before she continued. "Except the basement... that is one place you do not need to go." She'd nod and lay back down.

"That is an adorable kitten you know..." Then she heard the name Draco and she had furrowed her brows. Though Dae thought nothing of it since it was just a kitten. "you have a good night." She would say before closing her eyes once more, drifiting off into the form of sleep she always did. This of course was a Cue to the younger girl that Dae was done for the night.

Victor didn't give even a squeak ad she was punched to the ground after having been lifted by his shirt collar. He just stared at Gray and listened to him silently. When he stopped speaking, Victor said softly, still sitting in the snow. "Are we quite finished yet, Mr. Morlock?" he asked, gazing up at him with an emotionless expression, before he started standing up. This was nothing compared to the beatings he would suffer daily from his father- or what he sometimes had to take from Raphael when his brother totally lost control of himself. It did hurt, but the pain was bearable.

"Forgive me for insulting you, Morlock," he repeated the words he had used for Albert's mother. "I do not seem to be quite myself, today... I know part of the fight is my fault, I shouldn't have acted the fool... once again, forgive me. If there is anything I could do for you to make up for my mistakes, please tell me..." he said smoothly, though with a tinge of shame in his voice and expression. If that now were his true feelings or not... was most likely very hard to tell. Hell, I don't even know.

***

Eve nodded her head and turned around, starting to walk out, though sopping right before she was all the way outside. "Thank you, miss... goodnight, miss," she said quietly before shutting the door again behind her, and then starting down the staircase. It didn't take her long to reach the couch, and about the same time as her head hit the soft fabric beneath her, Eve fell asleep. And, for the first time in ages, she wasn't actually having any nightmares. The familiar curled up by the little girls side, a soft purring sound coming from him and he snuggled up against Eve and then started falling asleep too... although one of his eyes always remained open. It was in order to keep some kind of control of his surroundings... even if he was sleeping. Because... who knew what all could happen if he let down his guard? Maybe Eve trusted this woman and her beast- but Draco did not.

Gray stayed at home for a bit trying to figure out the whole case on that girl. I know she's in town but how can I prove her guilty? Also I have limited time to kill her, with Viktor having the same intentions as me he thought to himself holding a champagne glass full of blood. He sighed and starred at the blood in the glass. "Mr. Morlock, a letter has come in for you" said one of the maids running into the living room with an envelope in her hands. She came up to him and handed him the letter, he took the letter and dismissed the maid. When she left he starred at the letter, it was very official and it came from Romania. He gently opened the letter to find a formal looking letter adressed to all Blood families with noble ties. What is this, he thought and started reading the letter.

It was addressed to anyone in these families that wanted to throne should come to Romania for a council meeting. Hmm, if I can capture this child and bring her to Romania I'll have to evidence for this case. That means I'll have to the best chance for the blood throne, he thought as his eyes lit up. He continued reading and it said the train left tomorrow morning. He stood up and threw on a black hoodie then called for the maid. "Andria, pack my bags. I'm leaving on a train to Romania tomorrow morning, also include a large back, big enough to perhaps hold a child" he said a little devilishly and headed out into the night.

Once he got outside he pulled his hood over his head. He started walking through the snow and was heading to way he had been the other night, when he sensed the child's aura. He walked for a little bit and sensed her aura and the aura of another a spirit vampire. So, I was right. She was staying at another vampire's house., he thought to himself and a slightly evil smirk danced across his face. As he walked along the aura got stronger and he found himself at a little quaint home. "How interesting" he muttered to himself and walked to the door giving a knock. The scent of the spirit vampires sickened him. He realized that the door was open.

He opened the door carefully and stepped in. "Hello, I am a family friend of the child that is staying with you, I have been looking for her and I have been sent to pick her up, I greatly thank you for taking care of her." he said hiding his devilish grin.

(Amori, that was Godmoddimg again, just so you know... it's hard to reply to, especially for Nami. I think it would be easier if you kept it at the 'I am family' part so she has a chance to react. ^_^ I would be very thankful if you could change it... o.O Once you do, I will edit in my reply here. :3)

Viktor let the maid lead him into the sitting room, following her briskly and silently. The storm going on in his mind was barely noticeable, but if you looked at him closely you would soon notice a slight glint of it evident in his crimson eyes. What you would notice too would be annoyance and fatigue; he truly did not think he had any time for this. Rather, he would like to get ready for the arrival if his father and the journey to Romania. Once the maid had I traduced his guest, he dismissed her and focused souly on the spirit vampire... and the children. He couldn't help but feeling slightly further annoyed, not seeing any way how this could be made his problem.

"You are Viktor Ivanov, I presume?"

"Indeed," Viktor agreed to her statement, remaining standing where he was, his posture stiff and even somewhat hostile. He hated the presence of spirit vampires, he hated the mare thought of them. They were the reason as to why his family had been broken, and his mother had been killed. The Lady Beatrice Ivanov had been gruesomely murdered by an intruding spirit vampire, and Viktor as a child had been present at the scene, seeing it all. He would never forgive them for what the vampire did, even if precisely that individual had been quiet insane. It diet matter. They were all scum in his opinion. However, he would listen to her... it was the least he could do, even if he hated every moment of it.

"I have come to seek the aid of the Ivanov brothers. In my own opinion, we are all vampires, and specific races do not matter. I do not wish to gain any throne of any sort; I look only for safety at this moment in time. My fiance was killed, hunted down and slaughtered by a group of vampire hunters, and therefore left me to care for our two young children alone. I may be but of a child myself in age, but I am far older in maturity. I am unsure of whether or not you have heard of my family, but I suppose that I shall explain myself to you nevertheless."

Viktor did not reply, just pulled out a chair and sat down, gesturing for her to do the same. "Take a seat," he said, his voice not unfriendly but... diplomatically formal. He listened to her and had to agree that it was indeed a sad story she was telling, but he could still not manage making himself feel empathy for a spirit vampire, no matter how much he tried. He just couldn't, for when he looked at them... all he could see was the murderer of his mother; the images had been etched into his mind so strongly, he could have painted perfect paintings of them... if he'd had any skills in art, that is. Which in Viktor's case meant not at all. He was the worst artist the family had ever seen; right after his father, that was. Instead he was skilled in the art of fencing, but that would bring him nowhere in this case.

"I ask you naught for shelter for myself, but at the very least for my children. They ... They are not troublesome."

He watched her lower herself beside them and interact with the infants, but remained silent and seated. All children were troublesome, in one way or another. But of course most parents of the children would not realize it... his own mother had not; she has loved him and Andrei too much to see their flaws. But their father had seen them and treated their punishments accordingly... even if Viktor had to admit his father was sometimes too harsh, especially on the younger children.

"I understand if you are hesitant to help me ... Taking two spiritual vampire babies could be difficult. But at the same time ... You have so many servants here, would it be so hard to assign two of which to them?" "

I know it is a lot for a stranger to ask, especially a spiritual vampire, but I am begging you take do this. I would even be wiling to stay and become a maid here, if you were to wish it. I would care for them, as I have been, seeing as they are my children, but I would also serve you and your brothers. I-I have money."

He could see a whole lot of troubles this request would cause; if not for the brothers then for the twins. Viktor did wonder why she had come to Ivanov's of all people, a family known for being cruel and ruthless; a family known for having sent at least one of their members to an asylum in each branch. They were insane, they were feared and they had many enemies... so why would she come to them? Why would she come to them out of all the people who were out there, and ask for their aid? It made no sense to Viktor.

"My family comes from great money, and I can pay you for your help."

Viktor watched her scramble around on the floor to pick up the coins she had dropped, knowing full and well that his family did not need the money. It was nothing to the wealth his family possessed... but the young mother was so pitiful, even in Viktors eyes. He wasn't sure if he should pity her or be disgusted by how low she would sink; coming here to ask for help... or maybe he should admire her, for it did show strength and a love for her children Viktor never had received, at least not for very long. He could feel his heart sting as the memories of his mother flashed through his mind, but it did not change his mind about the spirit vampires.

"B-But I can offer you a personal healer for your family. I-I am connected to the Spirit Element, and can heal anyone that I wish to. I would need to find a human to bond with, but ... I can offer you the abilities of a powerful healer in the process."

"Oh, what's the use ... It was foolish of me to come to you for help ... A person would have to be crazy to agree to help me in such a manner."

"If you would at least be willing to give my children and myself shelter for tonight, I would be eternally in your debt, Sir Ivanov."

Viktor drew a deep sigh and stood up, stuffing his hands in his pockets and looking thoughtful for a while before he spoke. "It was indeed foolish of you to come here, seeking aid of us, especially in such a manner. If you had known anything about the Ivanov family you should know this is not a place for a child to be raised. Not one who lived in this mansion has not suffered during their childhood. If you'd known what was best for your children, you should have asked for help elsewhere. Frankly, you would not want your children to be raised here. I will not have time to look out for them all the time, to shield them from my brothers... and quite frankly, I would not care to. The maids, no matter whom I'd ask would not have the strength to defy their masters. Do you really wish to put your children at the mercy of my brothers?" He asked, arching an eyebrow. Viktor kept his voice as calm as before, but now there was an almost angry undertone in it.

"It would be irresponsible of you as their mother to leave them in our care," he finished and remained silent for a while before saying anything more.

"Besides, you should also know our view on your kind... especially mine. To be blunt, I despise you... but..." he trailed off and sighed, leaning against one if the walls and stuffing his hands in his pockets, "since you seem to be I desperate need of it... you may stay until the morning. Tomorrow I will however be off to Romania... then you will have to leave."

Eve's eyes fluttered open as she heard the door slam and someone enter. She sat up in the couch, the familiar in her lap narrowing his eyes and hissing at the stranger in a hostile manner. His black ears were flattened against his head and his blue eyes flickered to ember in a threatening manner, just as he showed his fangs. Instantly, Eve let out a small, frightened scream, quickly climbing down from the couch before starting to shuffle away from him, the daemon jumping down onto the floor as well, keeping on his guard. Obviously, this man was a blood vampire. Only an idiot would fall for his claim. Blood vampires and spirit vampires hated one another, even Eve knew that much. There was no chance in hell he would have been entrusted with taking care of a spirit vampire child, especially not the kings... even if Eve's true identity was not clear to Dae.

"N-no..." Eve stuttered out, voice and expression filled with fear as she shook her head, staring at the vampire in bewilderment. "N-no... you're...a...liar..." she whispered, feeling her back bump against the wall. Glancing around, she noticed she had pushed herself into a corner... which hadn't been very intelligent at the time, but Eve hadn't really thought before she acted. Her heart as well as mind were racing and she was breathing quickly in panic, trying to get a grip of the situation.

Andrei yawned and stretched out on the bed, opening his eyes as he noticed Avalon wasn't there anymore. For a moment, he was struck by confusion. That moment was over quickly, however, and soon a flush of embarrassment settled on his cheek as he noticed there was another man in the room. Automatically, he pulled his blanket over himself and hid beneath it, silently listening to the end of their conversation and then waiting for him to leave. He couldn't hear all of what they were saying, but by the sound of it Avalon was crying... which Andrei wasn't entire sure how to react to. Should he feel sorry for her? Well, yes... he did... but what do you do when you feel sorry for people? He wasn't really sure at all.

Sighing, once he heard the door close, he peeked out from under the covers and glanced down at Avalon on the floor, hesitating before crawling over towards her direction, though remaining on the bed. Andrei glanced down at her for a while, still not entire sure what he could do about her sadness, before reaching out his hand and placing it on her shoulder- carefully.

"Hey, little doll..." he said softly, a look of gentleness and affection flashing through his pale red eyes, "I'm sure your little sister will be fine, alright? I mean, Raphael is out there so he will probably find her and bring her home safely," Andrei did realize that this probably didn't comfort her, but even if Raphael was a moronic and sadistic idiot, he wouldn't touch Ethella. Andrei was sure of that. Honestly, he believed in his words about Raphael bringing the girl home safely.

Andrei sighed softly, gently playing with her strange hair and shutting his eyes, stifling another yawn. "Just you calm down, okay? Freaking out like this won't help you heal, and it won't do you any good in general..." he stated, opening his eyes again and leaning down, carefully kissing her cheek. Even like this, he found aroma of her blood tempting. However, he was content with the amount of blood he had gotten before and would not need feeding for today... or tomorrow, for that matter. Besides, Andrei DID worry about her health. He truthfully and honestly did. Was... her health all he cared about, though?

'Damn it, Andrei! Don't think like that, don't even consider it! Falling in love with a human can never end well... never... ever. What if all vampires suddenly went falling in love with humans? Their race would die out... and... they would eventually vanish. It is a terrible, terrible thought... and a terrible, terrible deed of a blood vampire especially. No! I cannot effort to start caring about a mare human... not even if she saved me from the 'fire devils' that one time'. He smiled weakly at his own idiocy both back then and now and shook his head.

"Just calm down..." he murmured soothingly.

Raphael watched the two girls suspiciously as he walked through the forest, rain whipping against his face and soaking his clothes as it started becoming worse. This was real spring weather. Sighing, he racked his hand through his wet, white hair and paused as the brunette spoke, turning around and arching an eyebrow, placing his hand on the hilt of his sword again.

"N....no, I refuse to go, nobody is my master, if you let me go I'll pretend I saw nothing okay." She asked timidly.

Raphael's expression went dead as he locked his pale, long fingers around the hilt, a look of discontentment flashing through his crimson eyes. "Do I have to repeat myself for you too, puny human? You may be pretty and your blood may smell good enough... but like I told the blond girl, I would only find pleasure in disposing of you," his lips curled into a small, cruel smile, "no one would ever find out, puny human... and you would just become another one of my 'dolls'. A pretty one, added to that... but still. Is that truly what you wish for?" he asked slowly, tilting his head to the side and chuckling darkly before walking over to her, grasping hold of her chin tightly and tilting her head up, leaning his face close to hers.

Just as it seemed as though he was about to kiss her, he pulled back again and shook his head, starting to walk once more and letting go of her chin. "I would suggest you come along, if you care about your life... that is," he said, still smiling like that as he made his way through the forest, sniffing the air regularly and glancing around.

After a while, they arrived when Ethella had collapsed. He sighed and leaned down, carefully picking her up before throwing her over his shoulder and glancing at the other three, Yuri keeping silently in the background, clutching his arm as tears rolled down his cheeks. At least he wasn't making any sound. With his injured hand, he was trembling to keep his grip of teddy, who now was as drenched as everyone else with rain. In fact, the purple haired young vampire was shivering, which came as no surprise to Raphael. After all, Yuri had never been outside the house before... weather was something entirely new to him, as was this kind of chilly air and the forest surrounding him. If Raphael was allowed to guess, he didn't think Yuri would go out in a very long time anymore.

"Get moving..." he said grumpily to the three of them, starting back towards the mansion."

He walked closer to the girl, the kid smarter than she looks, just need to lie , he thought to himself and knelt down to the girl's level giving her a warm smile. "You probably don't remember me because I haven't see you since you were very little. But I remember you. My family and I think the feud between blood vampires and spirit vampires is ridiculous. We're both vampires after all" he said kindly and held out his hand to the little girl. "Come, I'll take you somewhere safe. It's not safe in this town, there are lots of vampires looking for you and wanting to kill you, I don't want that to happen to you, Eve" he said keeping his hand out and waiting for her to take it.

"I'm sorry if I scared you, people are quite terrified of my but I'm not scary at all" he said and slowly removed the hood off of his head revealing his jet black hair and snow white skin along with his crimson eyes. "See? They're nothing to be afraid of" he said with a cheerful smile. He looked at her in a nice way, "As long as you're with me you're safe" he said and kept looking at her. "So, what do you say?" he asked.

Raphael's eyes narrowed as he quickly evaded the incredibly stupid girls attempt to punch him- only by a few inches, but still. Most likely, she would hit the tree. However, if she was fast enough which Raphael didn't think she was... there was a possibility she would be able to avoid the broken wrist. However, almost hitting him was as bad as actually hitting him, and suddenly, all Raphael could see was... red. Pure, flamboyantly, scarlet red. At least, that was how his eyes were glowing as she stared at her in the most dangerous kind of rage; the silent, brooding type. For a moment, he just stood there- frozen to the spot and staring at her.

Suddenly, however... a loud roar that could have awakened the death escaped his lips and he charged at her with his sword, first looking as though he was going to impale her with the sword... although he suddenly stopped in his mid tracks, remembering he was actually still carrying a girl over his shoulder. What remained him, was a yelp of concern coming from Yuri, who still just stood as far away as possible and cowered. Yes, that was indeed what he was, a coward. However, he would have been a moron to challenge Raphael in this situation... as there was no way he would have been able to beat him. Not even for the human. With a sigh, Raphael carefully placed her down in the snow- finding it curious how she had not yet awakened.

"You can have her, worthless brat..."

Raphael's expression went deathly, psychotically calm and he smiled at the human girls, a small and handsome, amazingly calm smile- judging his behavior just moment's ago. He swept a tiny bow and said in a slightly raspy voice from the screaming, but still calmly; "Forgive me for all the troubles I have caused you... my ladies. You better get out of this forest before any harm comes to you," and with that said, he turned around and started to march off towards the mansion, images off all the terrible things he would do to one of the servants. What a joy he would have in shredding a young maidens skin of her body; one piece after another. What a beautiful music their voices would make as their screams echoed through the dungeon, and what a pleasure it would be to see the blood run and stain... stain everything so wonderfully red. Torturing was like art, in Raphael's opinion. And he knew that one day this fine art he had worked so hard on perfecting... would come to use; when he disposed of one of his brothers after the other. Slowly ending their life's in the most painful ways.

His snake like smile widened as the insane look in his simultaneously increased and he suppressed the chuckle threatening to escape his lips. Okay, it was more than a chuckle. It was that kind of insane laugh you would expect from a mad scientist in a horror movie- or any other kind of mentally unstable villain, to be correct.

Suddenly, Raphael stopped in his tracks, glancing at the two girls and narrowing his eyes when he noticed Yuri was no longer with them. His lips became a flat line and all emotion from just moments before escaped his features, making him completely unreadable.

"You two?" he asked flatly, "what are you still doing here? And where did that idiotic brat go off to..." Raphael muttered the last part to himself, a slight hint of annoyance slipping into his voice as he shook his head, resuming his walk again. "Oh right... I do not give a damn. The human girl may die, if he so wishes... " he yawned and sheathed his sword once more, admitting wordlessly to himself that he shouldn't be so quick about drawing it all the time. Actually he would have to get a better control of his temper... Avalon did have a point earlier that day.

With his excellent hearing capabilities, Yuri could make out the sound of footsteps behind him very quickly. Because of his injury, however, he had no time to move. His eyes widened as a hand was placed tightly over his mouth and he was dragged into the forest. Honestly, he did actually try to bite the spirit vampire, but didn't exactly succeed. In fact, he failed miserably. Glaring up at the spirit vampire, he stopped his fist attempted of struggles.

Shivering as the stranger pushed him down onto the ground and averting his gaze, Yuri tried to let out a yelp of repulsion as his wound was licked by the stranger's... creature? Either way Yuri hated cat's, in whatever form they could appear. There was a very good reason as to why Yuri thought so badly of them. Raphael's familiar was a cat- an albino Siamese to that, and it was far from the loving and kind version of a cat you'd usually encounter. Especially Yuri and Set were not very good friends... not even in the slightest. However, it was not actually his wound the panther licked, but his thick leather coat. It was weird and wrong in every damn way Yuri could think of. He didn't understand what could it would do either, since nothing actually happened. The stranger sitting on top of him didn't really make the situation better either- he hated to be dominated. Actually, none of the brothers appreciated it much but Yuri was the one who hated it the most. Not only made it feel him uncomfortable, but since Yuri was such a skinny and small boy... he had trouble breathing with the weight of that person on top of him, and his hand over his mouth. What? Did he have the intension's of killing the poor little vampire boy?

"Forgive me, it was the only way I thought you'd come. Now if I let go of you, you wont scream will you? Wait never mind of course you will, some weird guy just let his cat lick on you."

Yuri simply squeezed his eyes shut, wanting get over with this situation as soon as possible and get to his Ethy, who was the main goal of his mission to go outside. If she ran away again, however... Yurie decided he would NOT go looking for her. The world outside was scary and cold and wet with awkward strangers sitting on poor little boys. Yuri didn't like that at all. Well, at least he still had his teddy, which he clutched tightly in this free arm.

Once he felt the weight from him being lifted, Yuri carefully stood up, not answering the vampire and simply glaring at the ground. He winced in pain the wound caused him, but ignored it; including the fact that he was still losing blood. Actually, some of it was trickling down his chin and now and then he let out small, raspy coughs, blood splattering from his mouth and onto the snowy ground. Once, he even lost his balance and fell onto his knees, coughing up blood violently.

However, eventually even Yuri managed to make it back to the human girls and Ethella. He wiped the blood from his lips and crouched down by her side, glad that Raphael finally was gone. At least he wouldn't have to deal with his most hated brother until he came back home... which he would do soon but it didn't matter.

Carefully, Yuri placed down his teddy on Ethella's chest so he would be safe from the snow, and then gently shook her by her arm with his uninjured hand, looking at her in tearful concern.

"E-ethy..." he rasped out weakly, trying to ignore the pain in his shoulder as she continued shaking her carefully, "w-wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" his voice and tears became more and more desperate each time he called to her, hoping she would somehow hear him and wake up. It would make Yuri very sad to lose his only friend... when the world was filled with almost only clowns like the human girls, or the impudent, moronic panther-spirit vampire. Yuri had already decided... that he hated all of them. "P-please..."

(Okay, guys! Remember to RP with each other, NOT ONLY me. Captio? :3 XD)

Eve flinched as he closed in on her, repeatedly shaking her head over and over. "L-liar..." she whispered weakly, "liar, liar, liar..." the familiar continued hissing at him, and Eve knew that if he didn't move away soon, he would attack. She knew he was a blood vampire, and she could remember how her father had always talked about how much he despised them... so why would he have made friends with a blood vampire family? It made no sense. Actually, it made no sense to Eve at all. What was curious however... was that he knew her name. How in the world did he do that? She hadn't ever told it to him- heck, he was a total stranger. Neither did she think her father had, since he had wanted to keep Eve a secret. Only a very few actually knew about her existence. That much was obvious to Eve so then... how?

Although his smile was indeed kind, she could sense something false about it. Why would he suddenly change attitude? Probably it was because he wanted her to let down her guard... so much Eve had figured out. Despite this and how kind he looked, however... there was another thing which made it impossible for her to trust him. It was his eyes. No, actually it was everything about him: his fair, almost corpse like complexion, that coal black hair glistering like a nights sky... and yes, those incredibly crimson eyes; filled with malice and blood lust. Those were eyes all blood vampires possessed.

"Liar..." she repeated in a small, tearful whisper, pressing herself even further into the corner, "m-my papa...w-would n-n-never..." she croaked between sobs of fear, continuing to shake her head, locks of silver hair wisping around her with her movements. She was shaking with fear, her heart beating far too quickly in her little chest; very much like a bird trapped in a cage. She was shaking with fear, just hoping he would go away and leave her alone. "P-please...go..." she whispered weakly, "away..."

Gray looked at her for a momment then sighed. "You keep saying liar, but do you really know what you're talking about?" he said in a patient but slightly annoyed tone. Geez, this kid is stubborn. I may need to take her out by force. It would be easier
anyways
, he thought to himself hearing her fast heartbeat. He slowly put his hand on her frail little shoulder,it was so delicate
that if he put any more weight on it, it would collapse. disgusting, I'm touching a spirit vampire, he thought to himself and looked at her wispy silver hair. "I'm not lying that there are other vampires out there looking for you, so they can kill you" he said trying his hardest not to let out a smirk. He wanted to just kill the girl so badly right now but he couldn't, he needed the evidence alive... for now. He then heard her weak little words and sighed again, "I hope you know that I'm taking you with
me now matter what" he said calmly but now getting slightly impatient. He could still hear her fast heartbeat and sighed again, "calm down, you'll be safe with me" he said with a kind smile that disgusted him on the inside. He soon decided that he wasn't going anywhere with this so he decided to take her out by force.

"I really didn't want to have to result to this, but you've left me no choice, Evangelina Glaskov" he said, his kind smile turning dark and emotionless. He crimson eyes glowed brightly and he slowly inched closer into her neck. He put his hand over her mouth so she wouldn't be able to scream or make any other sort of sound. He then quickly bit down on her neck, sinking his fangs in her skin. The blood of a spirit vampire, it's sickening, he thought to himself as the little girl's blood seeped
into his mouth. The taste was horrid to him, the same type of being that killed his uncle, the same person who killed the blood queen. He took off his hoodie and wrapped her in it so she wouldn't be seen when he carried her, he knew that she would pass out soon, Since she had such a weak body. He picked her up and ran out of the house making sure the hoodie was covering he comepletely. He quickly arrived home and ran up to his room to see his bags packed by the maid and big empty bag
beside it, just the right size to fit a child.

(hey guys, just so you know, Gladis gave me permission to make my character do this.)
