She stepped out and wrapped a towel around herself. She slid her hand across the mirror to reveal the reflection of herself. She smiled and did the rest of her essentials. After that she exited the bathroom and skipped to her closet. She was happy. She wasn't in a rush to go anywhere and she wouldn't have to talk to Chase. Although she wanted to she had to pretend she didn't. Her walk in closet contained nothing that appealed to her. She ran her fingers over the different shirts, pants, skirts, dresses, and jackets. She couldn't find anything to match her mood. She finally found something to throw on and she left her bedroom. She couldn't hear Chance in the other room, but she wasn't worried.
She combed her fingers through her hair and she was caught in a trance. The smell of breakfast was delightful. She followed the smell and saw her chefs making a giant breakfast. The people in the house were the only ones that knew the true relationship between the two superstars. She was handed a plate and just stared at the perfect waffles. She put one in her mouth and moaned in ecstasy. It was delectable. "Chance! I am about to eat all the food!" she yelled taking a seat on the kitchen counter.

He heard Samatha moving about in the next room as he was reading his book. 'The Princess of Mars' by Egdar Rice Burroughs. John Carter as it was more commonly know. He adored classic fiction. He'd finished Sherlock Homles weeks ago now he was on to others. He actively ignored her as flipped another page.
He was supposed to be madly in love with her but frankly the girl got on his very nerves. How he got dragged into this fake relationship was beyond him. Somehow his agent/manager convinced him it was a good idea. It was a difficult feat but the man could sell steak to a vegan.
"Chance! I am about to eat all the food!" She called from downstairs and Chance had a half a mind to scream 'Then just do it.' but he didn't. He wasn't heartless. Sure, she was annoying as hell but she meant well. He closed his book and rose from his chair. He walked door the stairs and made his way toward the kitchen. He found her already horking down a plate of Waffles. He didn't say a word. He just grabbed a plate and commenced to filling it with food.
Walking across the carpeted floor she opened the side screen door. She shut the screen behind her and saw down on one of the outdoor chairs. She rested her coffee cup on one the coasters. She had a book here already waiting for her to finish. It was 'To Kill a Mockingbird' by Harper Lee. This was the third time that she has read it, but she loved it. It wasn't as good as Of Mice of Men and it told Twilight to take a hike. Samantha leaned back ever so slightly so that she was comfortable in the chair. Just as she opened the book her phone rang. The ringtone pointed out that it was her agent. The last person she wanted to talk to.
Regrettably, Samantha closed the book and picked up the phone. 'Time to be the perfect girlfriend'
"Good Morning Debra," Samantha chimed.
"Hello Sam, how are you and Chance doing?" Debra asked.
'Terrible' "Great. We are eating breakfast," she answered honestly. Lying wasn't her best suite.
"That's great! Well I hope you don't mind me crashing the couple breakfast, but I need to talk to you," Debra asked. In the background she could hear Debra moving about and getting into a vehicle.
"No. It's fine. Come on over," Samantha said. They said their goodbyes and Samantha hung up. Letting out a sigh she walked back into the house. She did not want to talk to Debra. It wasn't ever really a talk. She just kept bombarding her with questions about how she felt about Chance and their relationship and what not. Only in the end does she mention Samantha's job.
She walked through the living room and past the kitchen. "Debra is coming," she said still walking towards her room. She going to fix her hair. Debra seemed to have a habit of doing it herself, but she knows how Debra likes it. Push back and up. Standing in the bathroom mirror she started adjusting her hair. She let out a sigh. "It is too early to play pretend."
"Hey Sam. Thanks for letting me come over," Debra said walking to the living. Debra knew the house inside in out. She was here all the time and it was annoying.
"No problem. What did you want to talk about?" Samantha said while sitting on the couch. Debra got comfortable on the lazy boy chair. She was searching for Chance, but he was going to avoid Debra as much as possible. It was a smart thing to do.
"It's about your next movie. They want you to be the lead and they want Chance to be the love interest," Debra said. Samantha wanted to die. There was no way that she would be able to pull that off with him.
Silence overwhelmed them for a moment. "Well?" Debra asked. Samantha didn't know what to say. She was filled with different emotions that couldn't be expressed all at once. "Have you talked to Chance's agent?" Samantha asked hoping that this wouldn't happen. Debra shook her head. "That's why I am here. I want to talk to Chance and then he would bring it up to his agent," Debra said in all honesty. Samantha gave a half smile and stood up. "I will get him."
Samantha walked to the steps and stood at the bottom. Clearing her throat she called up to him. "Sweetheart," she started. The word tasted bitter whenever she was talking about Chance. "Debra wants to talk to you," she chimed.

He didn't try to play up the whole luvvy duvvy thing. He just went naturally. "Alright." He said softly and decended the stairs the rest of the way. He gestured for her to enter the room, his hand hovering at the small of her back with a easy but small smirk on his face as they walked into the room. "Good Morning, Debra." He said, reaching down to give her an air kiss on the cheek. He took a seat and cross his ankle over his knee, resting his arm on the back of the couch, almost inviting Samantha to sit beside him. He was a natural at this, sometimes it scared him. "So, What did you want to talk to me about?"
Debra smiled as she watched the couple before her get settled. Her head was tilted toward Chance since the question was directed at him. "Well, I wanted to put you and Sam in a movie together. You would both be leads which means you will be each other's love interest," she said excited for the movie. "I don't have full details, but I wanted to know if you were interested," she said looking at the both of them for confirmation.
Samantha leaned back against the couch and liked at Chance for an answer. Knowing Debra, Samantha was going to be in theovie with or without Chance. I guess she was just trying to broadcast the relationship. Debra was truly sweet and never did the annoying things that she does on purpose, but these were one of those times. If Samantha could just tell Debra how they really felt than this would be a lot easier.

He smiled at Samantha. "What do you think, Sam?" He asked her, practically urging her to say something along the lines of no, with his eyes.
(Gah! So short ._.)
"I don't know Debra. We both have a lot on our plate already and don't have enough time to do a movie," she said letting Debra down easy. It was a clear no. Debra looked sad, but she perked right back up.
"That is alright. Guess I will see you at the studio later then?" Debra directed at Samantha. She was getting herself situated so that she could leave. Debra nodded toward Chance as a goodbye and started to walk toward the front door. Samantha got up and followed her. "Yes you will. Bye Debra," Samantha said shutting the door behind her.
When the door was shut Samantha felt relief. No couple movie.
