Full Name:
Adalwulf Claus Schröder
Nationality:
German
Age:
13
Gender:
Male "I-I'm not a girl, okay, ne?"
Power(s):
"W-What, ne? I'm h-human! S-See! Don't hurt me, please! Ach mein gott!"
Appearance Description:
A small, petite boy, having a flexible physique, being able to sit in fetal position. Adalwulf is rather stout for his age, only, surprisingly, standing at 4'9, a small little thing. The German boy normally keeps his hair into two, separated long pigtail braids, the color being a ghostly blonde, nearly snow white. Why? He was curious one day and decided to bleach his hair. Unfortunately for him, it never came out, and he was stuck having a panic attack for the rest of the night.
Adalwulf is easily mistaken for the opposite gender because of his oh-so-feminine appearance; he's somehow dealing with it though. Somehow. The boy's skin is a milky pale color, and more often than not, he's seen without a smile. He rarely smiles, nor frowns, it is just a thin line between plump lips.
As for clothes, well, Adalwulf prefers to wear vests complemented with puffed-out shorts and golden knee-highs. He's odd like that, not to mention, he gets curious about women and decides to crossdress. Generally, he's used to it, though don't expect him to undress in front of you. He's too self-conscious about his body, more or less what he wears.
The German boy wears heeled boots, often wearing fashionable clothing (in his eyes) to express his individuality. Adal is a unique boy, nonetheless. On his head of bleached hair lies a beret, with an odd piece of hair that stands out like a sore thumb, considered a cowlick, or ahoge for that matter. I advise not pulling it, as it is sensitive. Wait, understatement. His whole body is sensitive, but, I suppose his cowlick is the most. A mole is adjacent to his right eye, as well.
"J-Just don't touch my ahoge, okay, n-ne?"
Sexual Orientation:
Adalwulf is believed to be bisexual, willing to love any gender as long as they love him back. He's sort of a lonely boy; though, he has more understanding and has a lot more knowledge than he should.
"W-Well, I suppose I u-understand love more than an a-actual 13 year old s-should, though, I-I'm kind of afraid of it, ne."
Mental Disorder/Disability/Syndrome:
Asperger's Syndrome and severe panic disorder. Panic attacks are triggered often, even by the slightest fear.
Why were you sent to Cata Sophia?:
Adalwulf was sent to Cata Sophia after one of his panic attacks, and it was a major one. He loves his parents dearly, but ever since that day where he almost got rammed by a car, he's become this paranoid, spaced-out wreck. Specifically, his panic disorder stems from the (almost) car accident, though his Asperger's syndromes is something that came within his DNA; he was born with it, but because of problems, it's been getting worse.
His last major panic attack was recent. It began in the middle of the night when he was having an intense nightmare, and his parents had to rush to his room to comfort him. It went on for at least 5 hours straight: stricken with fear and being a shaking mess. His parents thought that perhaps it was time to send their child to Cata Sophia Mental Home, where they could help him with his anxiety and scared demeanor.
Personality:
The German boy has a frightened demeanor, and often dislikes being touched, pulled, or manhandled. Odd boy, right? Let's go more into detail. He has an eccentric fascination for science and art, normally avoiding others to have time to think. Adal tends to ponder a lot whether science is art, or art is science, and is known to be very knowledgeable and intelligent for such an age. The boy is usually found painting, fantasizing about astronomy and sciences, or either doing something productive unless he is scared out of his wits.
To calm Adal during a panic episode, it takes awhile for being such the skiddish and shaken boy he is. It's hard to soothe him, but one way is to mention science or art and he'll start ripping your ear off with facts. Adalwulf, through and through, is socially awkward, his voice being soft, stuttery, and passionate, and barely having any social skills since he avoided so many children in school. He wouldn't let anyone touch him, no one at all, or else the German boy would try to get away while screaming bloody murder (not literally). The boy has a love for music, art, science and all else, being talented at piano and solving the hardest equations to produce a scientific experiment, your local geek.
Brief History:
Adalwulf was born to two German women, both full-blooded, so he is fluent in his native language, as well as having a heavy German accent, often pronouncing "w"s as "v"s, and replacing "this" with "zis". The two women, at first, lived in Germany with their son Adalwulf, Berlin to be exact, until they took an odd turn and suggested living in England and exploring the different countries. As for Adalwulf, Adalwulf was all for it, because land was made with science, and maps are a piece of art. Soon afterwards, Adalwulf was nearly run over by a European van, which is exhibit A of the beginning of his panic disorder. His life wasn't anything too sob-story, or too high-class: sure, he's a rich boy, but you know, he's the lonely kind. Too scared to really make friends. Too flinchy to let anyone even get close to him.
Well, now, he's here in Cata Sophia. Whoopdie do.
