Introduction

Gallagher Academy for Girls isn’t an ordinary school. It’s a school for teenage spies. The spies learn everything from tailing a person to pre-calculus. But will it be enough to ready them for invasion of boys?! (Okay not a literal invasion)

The rival school, Blackthorne Academy for Boys, has decided to an exchange with Gallagher Academy. The point is to see girl spies can successfully work with boy spies. A handful of boys have agreed to go to the academy and arrived at Gallagher without a second thought.

Now the challenge begins.

Alex stood on the roof, she's tagged Max and the boys with a tracking device, then stared at the screen of the monitor on her ipod. "Tour is going pretty well. Though their was supposed to be another boy, wonder if he declined." She sighed. "Since the tour is done I might as well find them and tell them there's going to be a special activity for today." She opened a hatch which led to the attic and ran downstairs. The attic was Max's room anyways. Then she found Max and the boys where the dorm rooms were. "I see you pretty much finished the tour." She said bored, her hand in her pocket to hide the tracking device. "Just to let you know there's going to be an activity with the boys today. Oh and wasn't there another boy supposed to be coming with you someone named Zachary Goode?"

"Oh yes, Alex, here." Maxine put her fist out towards her. She squeezed and there was a large crunching sound. When her hand opened peices of metal fell lifelessly to the gound. "Please don't track me. I'm sure the boys knew you were doing it as well." She turned on her heal and began down the hallway towards the combat rooms. "I'll be training if you need me." She waved at them over her shoulder, the fur on her jacket brushing up against it quietly. Her dirty-blonde hair faded from view as she turned the corner.

Marcus peeked into the rooms. "I guess there a bit better then ours." He said with a grin. "You were tracking us?" He tries to find the device and found it attached to the back of his jacket. "Okay found it. So what's the challenge for us." He studied the device a bit and crushed it. "This challenge doesn't happen to be testing us does it?"

Charles pulled off his tracker and tossed it at the car. No sense wasting a bug. He glanced up at the ceiling, wondering who had shot the bugs. "There's sure to be something, we all know what sort of school this is," he said with a look at Maxine's knife, "hopefully they'll let us relax for the first night in." He opened a door and, seeing no luggage inside, dropped his own bag next to the bed. He unpacked a couple magnetic alarms and stuck them to the windows, then placed a motion sensor near the door. He activated the locks on both his bags, and set out to explore the area.

Adrian dropped the tracking device on the floor and stepped on it. He pulled off one of the earphones and looked over at Alexius, then at Maxine. He didnt mind having a tracking device on him, which was why he didnt really do anything about it. But it was their first day, and sneaking on a tracking device wasnt something he was looking forward to. Though, he didnt say anything about it. After all they were like a "guest" to these girls. He didnt want to seem rude. Adrian was able to get a quick peek at the dorms as Markus opened one of the doors to get a peek himself. He had to admit, these dorms looked rather better than the dorms back at Blacktorn.

Charles turned another corner in the hall and found himself back at the combat rooms. He noticed Maxine training and opened the door quietly. She didn't notice him for a while, focused on her training as she was. Charles found himself admiring every aspect of her fighting style, from the undoubted effectiveness to the curious grace she brought to such deadly maneuvers. He leaned back against the wall and wondered when she would notice him.

Maxine had been aware of Charles for a couple of minutes. When his gaze left her she threw something silently to the ceiling and was suddenly gone from her spot. Really, though, she was slinking along on a wire that connected from above the door to the back of the room. "You should have brought a map," she said as she swung to hang upside down just inside the glass door. Her voice was easily heard through it. "I warned you it was confusing."

Adrian tossed his bag on the bed. Any room would do fine for now. Without bothering to unpack, he decided to take a look around the building. After a long tour by himself, He went up to the roof of the building and took a seat. Being in a high place was fun, and it was one of his odd little habits. His earphones were once again blasting some music as he looked around. Adrian stuck a lollipop in his mouth as he tapped his feet silently to the music. He was a sucker for sweets.

Seeing as everyone was busy Alex pulled out a knife anlong with a pencil and paper. She wrote the place to meet for the activity and the time, which was the Combat Room at 4:00pm. "They have an hour to find this and report there." She said and stuck it to the wall, with her knife, where the boys were staying in the dorms.

Alex then walked to the combat rooms, running into a few people on the way. When she finally reached the room she walked in. "Max I need a good fight. I don't think I've fought you before!" She called out to Max.

The headmistress had specificly said not to mess with her daughter; that was another reason she was in the attic, for constant annoyance to the girl. "When the teachers learn to trust me to fight another student I'll make sure you get wooped." She winked, a grin in her eyes.

"Besides if any of the teachers caught you or my mom I'll tell them it was my idea. If they say that doesn't matter we can always give them amnesia." Alex said. "Just whack them with a pan and voila. So you still agree?" She was letting some of her troublemaking side show.

"Not only are you thinking that you could beat me but you are also trying to be more of a rebel than I." Maxine narrowed her eyes at Alex. She was pondering what to do, weither to accept the challenge or not. It did happen that only a few days before she had been in a training accedent with one of the teachers and was slower than usual. With a sigh she rubbed her eyes, the fur on her jacket brushing against her neck in the process. "Fine, whatever, but don't brag if you win. I am injured you know. Whoever wins doesn't matter; no spreading it around the school 'cause you know who'll be the one in trouble."

Charles felt that familiar coldness on the back of his neck, the feeling that there was trouble close by. Things have gotten interesting already. He turned back down the hall, heading toward the most likely source of trouble, Maxine. He turned down into the combat hallway and smelled burnt electronics. He crouched down, dropping below window height, and started listening to the conversation. "Fine, whatever, but don't brag if you win. I am injured you know." Ah. A fight. Charles wondered if he should use his cellphone's camera, but decided against it. He'd just have to find another way to watch, maybe not even hide. He'd just have to stay out of the middle, after all he did stand by chivalry. No, he'd just see how things turned out for now.

"Charles, what are you doing?" Maxine called without looking up. "I know you're out there." She turned away from Alex, face curious. "Seriously, you don't have to hide. If you want to come watch them go ahead." She crossed her arms, crystal blue eyes on the spot she knew he had to be. With a sigh she looked at the younger girl over her shoulder. "You really didn't have to bust the cameras, just by the way. I could have disabled them."

Charles stood up and made a mental note to check himself for another bug, Maxine always seemed to know where he was. "All right, I just didn't want to interrupt anything." He gave each of the girls a quick evaluation and came to the conclusion that this was still a school, even if they were learning how to spy. It was a classic pairing, top student against rebel. He could identify with Alex's situation, having been top student last year at Blackthorne, but sided with Maxine in this fight. Jealousy could be a deadly flaw when on assignment. "Looks like you two have something of a past. Care to fill me in, or would you prefer to beat each other senseless first?"

When Adrian was done spending time on the roof, he jumped into the building through a window. He kicked it open, though made sure he didnt break anything while doing that. When he was inside, he closed the window. Adrian had already memorized most of the places, and if he was right the dorm should be down where the combat room was. Or was it the other way? Either way, he decided to head down with his hands being his head. He passed by the combat room, but walked back to see what was going on. He looked through the door seeing Maxine, Alexius, and Charles. Adrian raised an eyebrow when it looked like the two girls were going to fight. Judging by the broken cameras these type of actions werent allowed here.
