Stopping in fron of the doors she faced him, head slightly bowed and eyes at her hands.
Making it that her voice be heard she told the guy, "By the way I'm Alice, a freshman. I...I hope I see you again"
She gave a genuine smile and hurried out of the cafeteria in no real direction.

"Anyway..." she murmured to herself before turning back to Violet. "So what kind of things are you interested in?" she asked, sticking her hands into the pockets of the leather jacket. "By the way, if I happen to be annoying you, you only need to say so." Eva would not have been offended even if Violet told her that Eva was the most annoying person she had ever met; Eva had a way of just not caring about the bad things people could say.

Kiya nearly leaped in each step to the cafeteria. Mark came up beside her bounding like a race horse as she was. They exchanged glances and needed to more. They were starving.
The two got to the lunch room and got huge tray full’s of food. Kiya was popular but she very cared what others thought either. She reasoned “I’m beautiful, I can do what I want” and generally, she did get away with it. The two sat with the popular senior when Mark got full and decided on flining a clump of mash potatoes onto some kid Kiya latter found out name was Surma. “Mark!” Kiya yelled at her best friend angrily.

Slowly, Surma shifted his hand beneeth the table and made a few movements, closing his eyes and concentrating. It wasn't long before Marks laughter stopped, and darkness slowly crept over his eyes. "I.. I'm blind!" he shouted loudly and stood up, knocking over trays and hitting random people in a desperate frenzy. Surma snickered and watched as the commotion grew larger.

Alice couldn't believe her ears just going to the library she needed to prove that she went to the school, 'Maybe he's an Outsider? The letter did say staff and students were possibly one of "them". No not the librarian, of all places she'd need to get closer to the students not cooped up in this room with limited access'
Shaking her head and thinking twice about the librarian Alice rummaged through her bookbag looking for some information.
'I'm going paranoid suspecting her, better leave while I'm still sane.'
"I'll come back next time and with ID" Alice calmly walked out the door and uncounsciously back into the cafeteria. This time she sat in the middle of the hall ignoring the disapproving looks from the group on the table.
