The Legend/Plot
Over a thousand years ago, the land of Ethinal was ruled by an Evil Queen, named Hida. Hida was a powerful and ruthless tyrant, who gave very little and killed all who opposed her. Nobody could touch her, because she was protected by the power of an enchanted medallion, that granted her the power of darkness. Only one thing can stop her, The Sword of Light, a powerful weapon forged by the same people who made The Queen's Medallion. It was foretold that a chosen one will arise from the people wielding The Sword of Light and vanquish the Evil Queen. The chosen one came, a young boy named Acurid, charged into the battle against the Evil Queen, wielding The Sword of Light. Acurid destroyed The Queen's Medallion, breaking it into six pieces, and killed the evil Queen Hida. But, before she died, Hida foretold another prophecy. A new chosen one will arise, this one will bring together the pieces of The Queen's Medallion and unleash evil onto the land once again. With the Queen died, Acurid was made King. The new King took the pieces of The Queen's Medallion and gave them to his most trusted lords, so that no evil will ever get their hands on them. He promised that evil shall never rule this land ever again.

But little did The King realize, that one of the six shards was missing and laid in the field the great battle once took place. Thousands of years later, a young child shall be born and find the missing shard. This child will grow in the powers of hatred and rage. The Heir of Hida has risen! The Princess of Darkness is here! Now to go on an adventure to obtain The Queen's Medallion.

The World
Ethinal is small world. It's has medieval technology, so no guns and whatnot. Magic is present in this world, however. The world is ruled by the Good, and most people are decent hard-working people. Criminals are rare, but are around. There are many creatures in this world, some mystic (like dragons and unicorns), others are animals (like elephants and pigs).

The Fellowship of Darkness
Queen Hida - A shadow spirit that guides the Princess of Darkness and her followers. (NPC)
Princess of Darkness - Main Character, no fighting abilities until The Queen's Medallion is complete. (Taken by Wild_Bunny)
Worrier - A well-rounded character. Mainly uses a sword and spears. (taken by Lufia)
Barbarian - A powerful character. Mainly uses axes and hammers.
Warlock/Witch - A magic based character. (taken by GreenGentleman)
Rogue - A stealth character. Mainly uses knives and throwing weapons. (reserved for Castiel_Told_Me_To)
Druid - A ranged character. Mainly uses bows and is connected to nature.(taken by GreenGentleman)

The Lords and Ladys of the Light
The King - Ruler of the kingdom. He is an old man who is expected to die soon. (NPC)
The Prince/Princess - Arch-nemesis of the Princess of Darkness. A champion of the land, and current wielder of The Sword of Light. (taken by TheShyGirl)
Paladin - Rival to the Worrier. Mainly uses a sword and spears. Possess a shard of the Queen's Medallion. (taken by Byte)
Berserker - Rival to the Barbarian. Mainly uses axes and hammers. Possess a shard of the Queen's Medallion.
Sorcerer/Sorceress - Rival to the Warlock/Witch. Magic based. Possess a shard of the Queen's Medallion. (taken by peachyme123)

Rules

- Just something to note while making a character: If you are going to make a Darkness character, don't be all epic and powerful. In fact, Darkness character are suppose to be rather weak in this, and grow in strength as they go on their journey. If you want to be all epic, be a Light character, they are suppose to be super strong because they are the obstacles that need to be overcome.
