[Basic Information]

Age: 24

Gender: Female

Build: Artemis has a slender build but is very athletic and fit for her size. Her biceps are a little larger than that of most women, though she isn't quite as muscular as were some of the more tribal women up in the North.

Appearance: Her skin is fair of color, but not pale. Her hair is auburn and is usually in a loose bun. Her eyes are green with little speckles of gold flecks.

Personality: She has a hopeful personality and her eyes always seem to smile. She is usually a gentle soul unless she or her origin is disgraced. She has a iron will beneath the leafy canopy of her courtesy. It could be said that there are two sides to her: A stoic, quiet, and peaceful Artemis and then there is the stubborn, bull-headed, and stern Artemis. Her friends sometimes call her moss heart because of her kind and gentle nature. But as her friends have all gone, she only shows her iron will. She fears little, being half-raised by wolves. She isn't used to talking the local language of the desert, causing her to stumble in her speech and her words seem to roll out of her mouth poorly at times.

Combat Style: Her weapon of choice is a bow of dragon bone. It is a several hundreds of years old and averages six feet tall. She is one of the few people that are able to properly draw the bow.

Bio: Artemis is a druid, a person who is one with the forest. The druids are usually shape-shifters and or tamers. Artemis is both, spending more time in nature than with others. On her way to a new home and away from the corrupted forest lands she used to call home, she was stopped in her tracks by soldiers ordered to kill any leaving refugees. All but her sister had perished, and even then she had been fatally poisoned. Knowing she didn't have much longer to live, Artemis used ancient magic to convert the poison from her sister to herself. Her sister was still too weak to live and soon died. Artemis, stricken with grief, roamed into the desert and eventually passed out. Artemis woke up in Gaudis, but she was still alive and miserable. Some of the townspeople that had taken her for dead dedicated a small sandstone shrine to her on the outskirts of the city. Realizing that Artemis would die, a curious DMD officer stopped by and picked up a possible lead for a new recruit.

"Look," he grinned, "You're probably going underground in a day, maybe two or three, but what if I told you that there's life after death? That you can have your revenge on the ones that hurt you and put you into this miserable place?"
"I'd ask you where might I sign up, sir," Artemis responded.

So begins...
