Her pale eyes stared boldly passed the sun as she waited upon the arrival of the new Deviant. The natural beauty's cantaloupe colored hair glisten against the top of the building she was resting on as she was guard of the hideout for today. She despised the duty as it didn't give her anything to do besides think. And currently, all she could think about was her homeworld... ah how she missed it. The very thought of seeing it again would make her sigh, but alas this planet needed her. She cared about it deeply, and would not allow anything to harm it. Even if it meant her own death, she stayed loyal to what the Red Deviants stood for.

As the day drew on, by and by, she sees a man... a quite tall and with a slim face. She didn't see him as too much of a threat. Then again, not many things were a threat to her. She's trained well enough that any situation should be dealt with as if it were threatening as long as your life could be in danger. She sat steadily before sliding off of the balcony of the apartment building, spear in hand and holding it to her side. "Hello... may I help you?"

Squinting her eyes she kept quiet for a few moments. Nobody gets to this side of town easy, even she knew that. There were bound to be people he met along the way, scoundrels wishing to get their last crimes in before their destined death, but he didn't have a scratch on him. His clean, bright, white robes gave off a bit of a glow to her as it was odd. He looked of near godly, except for that fact that his form didn't suit him so. She looked up at his eyes and around his body. Circling around him, staring him down, she stops standing so erect and tilts her head, putting a hand on her hip and swaying side to side. She breathed in a puff of air and asked, "You don't look like some bum off the street... What's your name?"

Even more curious, she looked at his hips taking a step back and wondering if he had a sort of weapon on him. But, sure enough, she couldn't see one. Perhaps it was hidden beneath that plain garb of his. She waited for an answer, patiently, although she seemed to be distracted through her examination of the man.

She gave off a small smirk hearing the question. As his complexion was completely and utterly relaxed, she saw great restraint from this man. She didn't know what was to come from him... but she didn't mind a challenge. Taking her spear, she flourishes it a bit, holding it firmly in both hands, finally answering the question. "My name is Pearl, and as a Crystal Gem and a Red Deviant, I challenge you to a duel." With perfect timing, a man walks from the side of the building, bearing a red section of ruby on his chest rather than a glossy cream that was shown on Pearl's face. He added to the conversation, "You need not to worry about destroying Pearl's physical form, she will be fine if you 'kill' her. And as far as her harming you... well if she wanted to she would have done it already."
