Personality

Mengsk is scarred. For three years he has been asleep for three years, unconscious of the changes to is body. He has an ingrained hatred for the scientists, although he has begun to believe that he shouldn't. Before the changes he was a rather shy boy, the smart silent one who sat at the back of the class and did his work. But he also enjoyed bringing smiles to people's faces. These aspects of his personality have been brought with him and he retains them all at Westfield.
As a rule to himself he was optimistic, always pulling things apart to find even a glimmer of something good, because of this he has a love for his wings and the dream of flight they give him.

History

Mengsk ended up in Westfield by being in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong people. A group of older boys had corralled him into stealing his father's prize hunting rifle. He was caught giving it to them. His father was furious, without listening to reason he blamed the theft on his son. He was sent off to Westfield who, although they understood that his offence was negligible, gladly accepted another subject.

During his third night he was removed from his cell while he was sleeping and placed under a permanent sleep inducer. He remained like this for three years, not knowing anything outside the dreamless sleep. During this time he underwent major surgery the implantation of the hormone gland which triggered the accelerated growth of his deformity. While accelerate the process still took over three years. During which he was keep asleep and carefully monitored. Other subjects who had the same experimentation died from a multitude of reasons. So many things could go wrong. Thanks to luck or the ingenuity of the genetic scientists he survived the process, almost stronger then he went in. Its been several months since he woke, and he has begun to deal with the modification, he still can't balance with his extension but the rest of his body works perfectly.
