The detention center

KT was in a clear water tank, it was shaped as a cylinder. She was curled up at the bottom sleeping when she heard a shriek of pain. A young boy, well he must of been at one time covered in scales lay on the "bed" screaming in agony. The pain seemed to be coming from his arm. KT streached out and stood up. Mybe she could possibly help him. She was about to say something when she remembered. How stupid do you get she wondered. It had been a long time since she had seen anyone. Anyone who wasn't one of "them." She shivered at the thought. Pulling herself up she came out of her prison and luxery. Prison because she was changed. Luxury because she slept better, no more nightmares. She then remembered the pain. It was on her neck. "They" had just finished the last part of her transformation. "They" as in the white coated monsters. She bared her teeth at the thought. It was an instinct new to her. Walking up to him she said "Hi."

The scientists came and shoved some small girl into a cell opposite the others. She didn't say anything, but would occasionaly twitch.
