It’s obvious the Gryphon is full of himself, he’s one of those annoying assholes who you can’t help but adore. Maybe adore isn’t the right word, more so lust for. He’s equipped with a certain type of wit, easily able to turn anything around on you. Playing words like a piano, making lies sound like the truth and the truth sound like lies. Always playing devil's advocate. Ryker possesses a threateningly stern and elegant tone of voice. He can send shivers down your spine and he’s the one that decides if those shivers are good or not. He’s a “no nonsense” type person, comes with the job of leading a pride and working for a Lady, he has that alpha persona: the sort of disciplinarian personality that effortlessly demands respect.

Dedication turned ruthless, Ryker learned to not only roll with the punches but also deliver his own. There seems to be a switch within the Gryphon that when it’s flipped, you’re in trouble. Obtaining honest answers and dirty details is something he’s made for - he doesn’t stop at anything. He’ll physically and mentally drain you. There isn’t many he doesn’t find disposable. The power has gotten to his head many times, he’ll easily rear back when someone tries to lead him unless it is Lady Kerrigan. He’s the one in control and if not, he’s not listening. He won’t bend for anyone’s whim, except Sophia's. He’s protective of his family and pride - he’d brave anything and laugh in the face of danger if it threatened his family.

When he’s around his pride or family, you see a different side of Ryker. Nothing clique like a completely different person, he’s still very much the Gryphon full of himself, but he’s a little looser. His mother taught him manners, how he should treat a lady mostly - so even the hardass leader will watch his foul mouth in the presence of a lady. Meanwhile his brother was the reason he “grew up” so to speak…He’s brave, tactical, and smart - unusual things to have learned for raising a brother - but those were the things he acquired from continuously having to save his brother, also the fact he rolls his eyes more. Leaving him big headed and he’s not below holding something like that over someone’s head to exert his dominance.

Ryker isn’t as well off as he leads many to think. He’s damaged, a little too broken to be mended. Maybe that’s why he can cut someone off so easily, but the few he doesn’t are held incredibly close. He’s not above jealousy either, and it’s actually rather obvious how jealous the Gryphon is - whether it’s his mother paying more attention to his younger brother or some woman he’s decided to pursue for the night eyes merely scan over another man, his feathers get ruffled. He makes it very obvious if something was his - hell, if he could he’d probably hike his leg up like a dog.

Behind the pride leader though is a very vengeful adolescents. Ryker is vindictive to the core. He’s driven by the desire for revenge; revenge for his pride, revenge for his brother, and revenge for his father. He’s dedicated to the cause.
