"Do you honestly want to go outside? What would you do once your out? How do you know whats it like? What if your shot, killed; what if your chased down by the damned government and put back here in this place? Do you honestly think that they would just let you waltz out of here?" She growled quietly, her voice had a faint English accent in it that made it seem like she was from England or something. "Do you honestly think that the outside world would just give you your things on a silver platter?" Her voice was meant to be in vain, trying to hide the fear of going outside in her anger at everyone about talking about escaping. She didn't like the idea of going outside and being hunted like animals for the rest of her life; she really wanted to have a family, but she rather be stuck in here for the rest of her life than to be running for her life. "Do you ever think about the punishments we would receive when we escape? All we could do is entertain ourselves with doing stuff that would get on their nerves." She said, spinning back around as if she hadn't talked to them at all, and in all honesty, she wished she hadn't; but she needed to do something about the pent up anger and her voice which was screaming to get out even if its just for an instant.

He stood up slowly, then fell to his knee, his leg throbing with pain. "You... thanks for untying me. But let me give you a warning." His voice became a whisper, only audible to himself. "Don't you ever come near me when I'm like that. Next time you might not have guards to distract me from you..."
But this Matt's ears twitched. Someone was talking... but he had never heard that voice before. Who- !? He flipped his head around, looking behind him.
... Ah, Elspeth. ... Angry, angry Elspeth. Matt smiled softly. He felt a little sorry for her, really. No one should be that angry all the time. He got up shakily and managed to walk over to the table.
"The question is... is it worth it." He said softly. He was talking to all three, but his eyes were on the blonde girl. "Is it worth the risk to run? To try? Is death better than here? That's hard for me to answer. But I know this. It's bad here. And while the outside might be rough, it might not be so bad. I've read enough books to know the rough comings and goings. I think I can made it, honestly."
He sat down next to her, folding his hands. "I'm going to try. I'm going to run. And if I die, well I'm gonna go out swinging. If you want to stay here, fine. Whatever makes you happy. But I'm breaking out. And from what I've heard... you two are as well." Matt looked at the boys, then back to Elspeth. "If you want to stay here, okay. But I'm leaving. And honestly? I think you should come too." He smiled at her one last time, before walked back over to the table with the food, and sat down.
He sighed. How am I going to do this? Reap seemed up to something... but he's unconscious at the moment. Matt looked around the room, wondering. But eventually his eyes fell on Kaylee, as they usually did. He usualy looked away when she looked at him though.

So what other way than to test it, right? Matt blinked, but when he did, his eyes shifted to red again, switching into his darker half. Adrenaline flowed through his veins freely now, willed into action my Matt's own mind. Years of practice. He could switch between personalities at pure will at this point, much like switching with an animal. So with his combat high activated, Matt couldn't help but glance around the room for a reason to fight. But finding none, he looked back at the food, took an apple, and bit out a huge chunk.
He felt drowsy almost instantly. He was sure that if the adrenaline in his body hadn't been on it's rampage, diluting the anesthenic, then he would have dropped in an second. This was powerfull stuff!
So He took another bite, then another. And soon the whole apple was gone. He had difficulty keeping his eyes open the whole time. After the apple was finished, he kept his eyes closed, waiting. After a minute or so, he felt the poison wearing off, and after another minute, he let his eyes change back to their normal dark brown. Drowsy, but awake.
"If you're that hungry, then you better scarf down as much as you can fast. This stuff is fast acting." he said softly, holding his head. The stuff was still wearing off, but with his combat high gone, it was still affecting him. He turned to the dog still looking at the food and smiled. "Might as well. They'll probabl come get us in two minutes, taking us back. Sorry for ruining your couple hours of freedom." He looked down. "I didn't mean that to happen. I just couldn't let you get hurt again."
He took a cup from the table, and let his red eyes return. "Hehee... but they should know better than one hurt my friends." Matt smirked, his darker half speaking. But with no enemies around, it wasn't a big change. He took a sip from his coke, smiling at the taste of his favorite drink. "I think I'm gonna head out for a while. Get some shuteye." He smirked again, downing the whole cup. "I'll see you tomorrow." He scratched behind her ears one last time before petting her down her back once and standing up. The guards chose that moment to burst in, telling the people to leave.
Matt simply walked passed them. One grabbed his shoulder as he did. "Hey, you can't-!" Matt's head kerked at him, and his wide, still red eyes nearly sent the man into tears with just a sight. Matt then walked down the hall, unhindered, and into his room. he shut the door, the clicking of the lock telling him he was safe, then sat in his bed. With one final check to see if there was anything else needed to be done, he let the red fade again. He fell on his pillow instantly and with a soft thud. Out like a light.

There was food! She perked up immediately and went to the table sniffing each individual scrap. With her nose she could tell this stuff wasn't right for eating and as if it had been a sign she glanced up and saw Reap out like a light. She stepped away from the table slowly, but she was surprised when three gaurds tied her paws and began dragging her down the hall and away from the others. She was making quite the rucus, snarling and snapping, attempting to bite anything, but they quickly muzzled her before throwing her into her cell. She morphed back to human, the pieces around er shrinking down to her small size and she immediately began working at getting the stuff off of her before going to bed and passing out.
. . .
"Well, I mean, yeah, of course it was a joke." He made a half smile and returned his gaze to Elspeth. She hadn't even looked at the drawing and he was beginning to wonder if she had purposefully made herself anti-social. He couldn't help but be curious, though. He pinched the paper and unfolded it to show her, his head tilted a bit. "Hope you...erm..like it." He gave another half smile and nodded to the gaurds as they motioned for him to leave, but he hesitated in the room to watch Elspeth take in her drawing.

Marcello sat as he listened to Elspeth’s concern’s about escaping. “ I know… I have the same concerns..” Marcello said still a bit shocked to hear her speaking. He looked around the room, watching others eat the food put out and pass out soon after. Why did they continue to eat the food why it was obviously drugged? Marcello shook his head a little with a smile and a bit of a sigh.
“Those reasons are why I have never… went on with anything like that but I don’t know anymore. I don’t think its right what we go through. I think, we should do research and make a plan. I don’t think this is anything to go fool hardy about” Marcello said, disguising his words by the way he moved his mouth. He looked over to see the guard motioning him out.
“See you at twelve for out door time Elspeth and Axel, it was nice talking to you.” Marcello said as he flash a shinny smile that contrasted on his tan skin. “Bye everybody! See ya tomorrow!” Marcello said as he waved his arm. With smooth and casual steps he left the room with the lovely guard named Joy.
Marcello walked back into his room spinning around to watch Joy leave. “No good bye kiss baby?!?” Marcello joked as he stared at her from behind. She simply ignored him and locked the iron clad door.
Heroku Hiroshima
Heroku looked after Reap as he left, then watched as he ate his food, soon passing out. She felt that he was telling her something beyond just his words. She itched wildly in book lust, she suspected it was a novel about some test subjects in a government laboratory. They were taken at a young age and this was the story of their escape..
Heroku smiled wildly, suspecting this was invitation. This was an invitation to escape. How beautiful would escaping be… She could travel forever, meet new people and try whatever she wanted. That would be true freedom, she ultimate desire. As she thought of it a tinge of fear traveled up her spine. “No!” she said allowed, not thinking that others might find this strange. Fear would not beat her, not today.
With great cheerfulness Heroku followed the guards out, humming and in a bit of a skip. “Good bye my dearest dollies!” She called behind her adding “See ya at twelve for a bit of time out doors!” When Heroku got to her room she read for hours until she fell asleep in her colorless white, uniform bed.

"See you soon." she whispered as she walked outwards; the guards leading her to her room. When she had gotten into the room, the guard that lead her there looked at her. "Go to sleep." He demanded and she nodded as she walked to her bed, sitting down onto the bed, she shuffled herself under the covers before looking up and her eyes slowly drifted into a slight sleeping motive and before she knew it, her herself was asleep.

"Please, hes got enough trank in him to knock out a bull. Jack is just pissed off because this one broke his nose again." Reap listened to all this, his body seemingly unmoving. The snake DNA within him had enhanced his immune system to types of poison and venom, making them where off faster than normal. Hence the reason he had ate so much of the food, he knew they wouldn't worry about frisking him if he was knocked out, so the taser would be safe. Now they reached his room and tossed him in, rather crudely. They then shut the door, and its electronic lock kicked in. Reap sat up, and took his notebook out. He placed it on his bed and looked at the camera in the corner of his room, grinning he casually slipped under it and used the taser on it, to anyone watching they would just think the camera was glitchy and likely leave it be. After all wheres he gonna go? through the bombproof bulkhead? no. The idiots only thought one way, Reap however thought four different ways at once. His mind worked every angle it could when he planned something. So Reap waited, sitting on his bed doing nothing for what seemed to be hours, Having no clock in his room he couldn't be sure. So he waited as long as he thought he should, Letting his guards get bored and vulnerable before striking. Now he thought, moving to his notebook he drew out his keycard. He slid it through the lock on the door, causing the door to slide open. The guard on the left turned towards the sound in surprise, the other one was asleep in a chair not far away. The awake guard was about to yell for the alarm when Reap's fist slammed into his throat, right in the windpipe. Causing the guard to fall to to the ground in pain, Reap then slammed his foot into the side of the guards skull knocking him out. Moving to the guard asleep in the chair he wrapped his arms around his neck and twisted violently, snapping it. With both guards down Reap frisked them both, grabbing both of there trank pistols. These he slid into his pockets along with the card, and taser. Reap then dragged the body's into his cell and locked the door closed so that anyone who came looking couldn't find them. Now, to find the three others. He began moving down the hallways, mentally reviewing his blueprints. He nimbly dodged the few guards he came across till he reached the room he thought belonged to Heroku. He would get her, than move for Matt the fighter who would be valuable if things went the wrong way. He waited a few seconds, watching the guards and silently hoped that she had caught on to what he said and would be ready to go. Moving forward he sprinted towards the first guard, tackling him and using the taser right where his heart was. That one down he pulled the trank gun and fired a needle into the second guard's neck before he can reach the alarm. Reap slid the keycard through the door only to find the lock unresponsive,Shit! He moved towards one of the guards body's to frisk him but found nothing. "I think your looking for this" A deep, arrogant voice said behind Reap. Reap sighed deeply and turned around, seeing five guards aiming tranks at him. the talker of course was Jack, the bane of Reaps existence or rather one of them. "Jack, ahead of me for once...I guess I'll need to step up my game. Hows the nose?" Jack's hand went to the bandaged nose, instinctively. This was when Reap struck, he drew his own trank and put darts in four of the guards before the gun ran out of ammo. Before Reap had a chance to move Jack had attacked him, slamming his knee into Reap's gut then tossing him to the floor. "Bad luck boy, just chose the wrong time!" Jack said as he kicked Reap in the ribs. Reap swore he felt one break and began putting his arms up in an attempt to block the blows raining down on his gut and face. Eventually Reap felt a shock, and just barely registered that Jack had taserd him before blacking out, his body a bruised and bloodied mess. His body was once again dragged to his room, and this time Reap didn't wake up. And wouldn't till the next day happened to come around. This time, there were no dreams.

Kerrik looked at the clock, and asked the time. An electronic voice told him it was just after midnight. He stood, twisted his back, and sat cross-legged. He did this every night he couldn't sleep. The meditation calmed his nerves, allowed him time to think, and eventually put him to sleep. That night, he dreamt more about his younger years.
"Kerrik, Kerrik, time to get up." A female voice roused him from his sleep. "Kerrik, It's past 10."
"5 more minutes, Kerrik took hold of his blanket and covered his head to tell the guard who was waking him up he didn't want to get up.
Teri sighed. Kids. "No, now. don't make me raise my voice young man." Kerrik leaned up, his hair all over the place. Crawling out of bed, he felt his way along the wall to the restroom. Finished, he came out, combing his hair with a pick and drinking.
"Ok Teri. Let's go." He Took her hand, and together, they left the room. It didn't take long to get through the morning tests, however, the day seemed to go slower than usual. Once it was lunch time, Kerrik was very tired. He wanted to do something. After his lunch of a turkey club that Teri got for him, He was bored.
That was when the alarm buzzed and Kerrik woke up. Hmm, That dream again... Never the less, Kerrik got up, did his morning stuff and waited for the scientists to come get him.

He had been awake for a few hours now, meditating upon his new goal. Leaving.
It seemed to be midday, as it had been a few hours since he had been brought food for breakfast (Apparently he had slept until the next day). Time for... what was it called? Outside time? How unoriginal. But none the less, he stood up and walked out the door when it was opened. (With the usual confrontation, ending in Matt walking freely, with guns pointed at his back.) With the guards instructions (all of them slowly being memorized. They could come in handy) he found himself above ground within a good ten minutes. The elevator stopped abruptly, shaking the people inside for a moment, before the doors opened and Matt Ciardha was greeted with green grass underneath a large glass dome. A few trees. A small lake. Paradise. ... even hif it was only temporary. Matt's smile grew to almost cover his face, the evil side that had been murmering to him suppresed under the peace.
He ran outinto his new play world, and even found a table with food (He tried a bit. Seemed okay) on it! This was awesome. He stood in the middle of the large dome and looked around. He wondered if... could they have...?
Matt whistled. A loud, high whistle. And three animals came out form the different places in the dome. A gray wolf with a cresent moon on his ear in white fur, a yellow cougar (although the was quite tame for a cougar) and a small black/red raven, which perched on his shoulder.
This... this was paradise... truly... but it wasn't enough to make him forget what was underneath them. A endless sea of torture. He still had to leave. He wondered his he could take his pets with him when he left.
So Matt sat down where he was, licked and cuddled by his animals, the ones he had known since he had been brought here. Why would they let the experiments have all this? Rehabilitation? Possibly. But right now, he didn't care. He petted his animals, but glanced at then evelator every now and again. Guards were around it. More experiments would arrive shortly. Good. He didn't want to leave this paradise so early, so he would break for it when they took him back. His fist escape attempt. They'd never see it coming. But even he couldn't get out alone. He needed help. And he had a feeling would it would be too.
Come to me... we have work to do, friends. Matt's eyes flashed red. This would be a fun day.

The scientists and doctors around her wrote down notes as they brung in an old race horse that had to end her career early because of pregnancy. Elspeth hated the way these animals where treated, but showed nothing on the outside; "Alright, go ahead and shift into her body, Elspeth." She didn't do anything, though, a sudden pain hit her in the right arm and her transfer shifted quickly. The people around looked shocked as her body collasped and the lights shook off and on until they managed to keep them on to reveal that the horse had also collasped and Elspeth was knocked out cold. The grabbed her and took her to her room after a few tests.
When she had awoken, it was around noon and guards had come to collect the others for 'outside' time, though, she didn't know if it was the white room or not; she could not see the own color of her skin. She became a bit confused just as the guards came in to put her outside. As she walked out, everything was all black and white and she could only see the primary colors, red, blue and yellow. As they walked towards the elevator, she stayed silent but worry was all in her mind until she reached the glass dome that was suppose to be their 'outside.' As she walked out, she looked around and only saw Matt petting some animals as a small sized male wolf to seem in its yearling age greeted her, though, she didn't touch it and kept walking to sit somewhere were she could be at peace. The young wolf trotted behind her steps before she plopped under the tree; the wolf sitting besides her.
She looked around, only seeing black and white and the primary colors and she felt as if she was about to cry but held it back. Am I color blind now? She thought, holding her knees up to her chest and with out realizing it, she held the young wolf's neck gently as it rested its head in her arms. No matter, I guess... She thought, closing her eyes.

"Reap, I don't speak reptile..." Matt said simply (more to himself than the experiment slithering away). He sighed, then got up, walking over to Reap's unconsious body. One looked had a grimace on Matt's face.
"You look like shit, man..." He said. Even though he wasn't sure if Reap could hear him. Silently, Matt walked over to the small lake, and and scooped up a bit of water. He slowly wiped away the blood around Reap's face, and patted it dry with his shirt. He thought for a moment, then sighed again, having no idea what Reap wanted from him.
So with his mission temporarily completed, he turned his attention back to the blonde. He walked over to her, and sat down a foot or so away from her. He similed at her once, then looked at the ground. He didn't plan on saying anything. Just offering the companionship. That was just how he was.
Matt's wolf walked over to him, settling in between to the two experiments. The cougar simply walked away, content with his own things to do. And the raven flew over to Reap, probably to bug the poor guy. Playful little thing he is... Matt smiled again, staying silent.

"One, two..." she paused. "Three!" Kaylee and the dogs took off, easily matching each other in speed to reach the other side of the dome.

She gave a small sigh before looking at him again, I had already spoke, so what was the point of not speaking anymore, its not like as if I can say silent forever. she thought, before giving a silent sigh. "Hi..." She whispered, not really caring if he heard or not, though, her eyes quickly moved back to the small wolf who was resting its intire body onto her, almost as if a cat.

You can come back in a little bit. But right now, please? The wolf blinked once, then got up slowly and walked off. He turned back to the girl, wondering if this time would be any different than the times he had tried to warm up to her before. But she had never seemed to aknowledge Matt's existence before.
"Hi..."
Matt's thoughts froze. As did his entire body. Was that... Did Eslpeth just... Matt slowly turned his head towards the girl, and he smiled, hiding his shock easily. "Hey." He said simply, tilting his head slightly again. Honestly, he had never expected this. Elspeth had actually said something to him. ... And he had no idea what to say back.
C'mon... you didn't read all those psychology books for nothing! Matt cursed himself. Lets see... what do I know about Elspeth? She's cold. Blunt. Unkind to everybody. ... Except the wolf. Maybe her nature is caring after all, hidden under the pain of torture? Possibly... Or maybe she feels a need to comfort him because they share DNA... What's her color? ... I don't know. Number? ... Another blank. Maybe his profiling skills weren't all that great after all.
Whatever. Skip. Next area... She sighed lightly a few moments ago. Possibly sadness. Maybe anger... but her eys didn't show anger. Maybe... acceptance? No... no... that was stupid. Sadness or dissapointment. Definatly. Her eyes were slightly wide. She seemed to be looking around at things. Even me at one point. But not really AT me... just at somthing. It was weird. Does she have a vision problem? Possibly. Or maybe it's just bright out here. But then her eyes wouldn't be wide... All of this and more went through his head in less than a second. Reading all that material payed off. So with all of that in mind... what to say to her?
"Um... forgive me if I'm being blunt." He said slowly, seconds after his initial 'Hey'. "But... you seem a little troubled. Is something wrong?" He looked at hr eyes in particular.

"Hey." Her eyes slid to him, she didn't really expect him to talk to her but as soon as she dropped her eyes to the young wolf, she had realized that the wolf was now facing its stomach upwards and begging her for a belly rub; that she wouldn't do. No way. She gently tapped the wolf's butt and it got up and licked her face, she pushed away the overly affectionate wolf as it got off of her and sat near her, panting and obviously bored. "Um... forgive me if I'm being blunt." She looked at him, now dragging the wolf over towards her with her hand, the small wolf following her hand and plopping down onto her lap again.
"But... you seem a little troubled. Is something wrong?" She looked at him before shrugging. "Nothing really." She said bluntly and quietly. Well, at least I am good at lying. Like hell I would tell him now. She thought her stubborn little thoughts as the wolf got up and looked at Matt as if he was about to pounce on him but instead, the small wolf took off after a squirrel running by him; jumping on top of both Elspeth and Matt on his way out. Her eyes looked at him and before she knew it, she spoke again. "Do you know if there is any side affects to the testing they give us?" Once she realized she had spoke again, she sunk low and grew almost dead silent again.

Matt nearly slapped himself. There he was, profiling again. He had to stop doing that on this personality. But this quiet one was the one most likely to not make Elspeth turn back to her silence. Thankfully, she spoke again. Maybe this wouldn't turn out so bad after all.
Dementia. Multiple personality disorder. A growing tolerance for pain. Sadism. Mosochism. OCD. Withdrawl. Those are the symptoms tht sprang to mind. Those and a desperate fear of lonelyness. Ah, but maybe that was just Matt himself... Although he hid it, he HATED the thought of being alone. That's why he was always trying to make friends. But something was telling him not to say all that. Elspeth probably knew all this. So she meant somthing out of the ordinary... Matt looked down, thinking for a moment.
"I think it's common for the us to gain physical characteristics of the animals we share DNA with." Matt said very quietly, glancing at her. "My teeth are a bit more jagged than usual. My nails are though enough to make claws. I'm stronger than the average adult. My eyes change to red every now and again. My vision goes slightly red too." He paused, seeing if she would respond to that.

I wonder if this is all permanent. I have been here for almost...no, I don't even remember how long I have been here and it has never happened to me; I have always been average and has never obtain anything out of the ordinary.Though, it was the first time that they had put needles in my arm during the transfer... but I wouldn't really guess that they had done something. Her mind wondered one as the small wolf trampled its way towards Elspeth, scarfing down the chipmunk it ate. Her head started to pound as it thought over the things before she looked at him before leaning all the way back.
The wolf started to munch on the animal before rolling into a ball by Elspeth and quickly falling asleep.

"I suppose no ones DNA is the same is someone else's... maybe different people gain - or lose - things at different times. My vision turned red for about four days. After that it faded away. It still come back at times though." Matt snapped his fingers. "Some things could fade in a day or two. Other things might be permanent. Depends on what it is." Matt paused, wondering what else to say. "It would also depend on how the abnormality came. If it developed over time, then it's going to be hard to get rid off. If it came suddenly, like..." He paused again. "... An electric shock. Then it could be your body reacting to the pain or energy. Could heal on it's own."
He looked down, wondering. After a few seconds, he glanced back at the girl next to him, tilting his head slightly.
