Description: He is 5' 11'' , he is 196 lbs. some of his weight is from muscles. He has blue eyes, and fair skinned. He has short brown hair, and is pretty good looking. He wears the tee-shirt and shorts, but he wears his red hoodie over the shirt.
Personality: Miles is a very caring and sweet guy. He has a little sister at home, and wants to get back and see her, one last time. He is smart and is very kind to others. He will defend others with his life, even to the point of death, he will defend you. He likes to joke around, but he knows exactly when to stop joking and be serious. He always offers to help others, he doesn't like to ignore or reject others. He will always make sure everyone is accounted for, and will wait for everyone to be present. He doesn't like fighting, he will always break up a fight, if someone is starting a fight.
He also isn't a big fan on bullying. He will stop someone from being physically or emotionally hurt. If someone is feeling down and sad, he will be the shoulder to cry on. He gets very emotional very quickly, if someone is crying, he will tear up. He is also a very good leader, if he doesn't get to be the leader, he will be fine and just keep his mouth shut.
Skills: Miles is very good with mazes and Math questions. He is also very good at re-wiring and over riding electrical objects. He is pretty strong, so he can do almost any physical challenge as well.
History:
Miles doesn't like to talk about his past. So, I'll just give you a quick bio of his past. His father left his mother and him when he was ten, his mother had just given birth to their daughter a week before the divorce. It was hard on Miles, he and his father got along very well, and when he left, Miles felt that it was his fault he left. From then on, Miles was the man of the house, seriously. He took care of his mom, little sister and himself. When he was twelve his mom got into a car accident and died on impact. He and his little sister went to go and live with their aunt and uncle. He didn't really like it there. He was always home alone taking care of his sister, since both of his aunt and uncle worked full time jobs.
At the age of sixteen, Mile's and Anna's ( his little sister) aunt and uncle died in a car accident as well. He didn't want to go and live in an orphanage, so he took his little sister and they ran away. He brought her to a little house he had found and they lived there for a while. One of Mile's older cousins came over and stayed with them. Then when Miles didn't come back one day, his cousin John, filled a missing person's poster and a search was called for. They searched for a week, they never found him, or his body. They called it off and went back to normal.
They had a funeral for him and everything. But, three days after Mile's funeral, more and more missing person files were popping up. The police had and still don't know what's going on with kids and teens disappearing. The town and everyone wants to know what is going on, is it a kidnapping, murders, or is it something far worse?!
Miles knows what's going on, he and some others are stuck in a huge mansion and have no way to escape unless they complete some strange tests . Can they get out and find a way to warn others about this strange plot done by a man named ''The Puzzle Master'' ? Or will they perish? NO one knows, we just have to wait and find out!

So begins...
Miles's Story

Miles opened his eyes, slowly and looked around. He slowly lifted his head and blinked a couple of times. He looked around the room and sat up. Miles then though to himself, '' Where.....where am I? '' He stood up and saw some clothes in a neat pile on the floor at the end of the bed. He knelt down, and picked them up, it was a black short sleeve shirt, and tan shorts. Miles just shrugged and took off his hoodie and tee-shirt that he had on and switched his shirt. He quickly put the black shirt on, and put his red hoodie back on. He then quickly stripped off his, dark jeans and switched them for tan shorts. He also put his belt on the shorts and looked in the mirror that was hanging on the wall.
He smiled as he saw what he looked like, he then said to himself, '' Awesome Miles, you can even rock these.'' He picked up his, Converse and slipped them on. He took his backpack that had some medical supplies in it. Ever since he ran away, he always carried medical supplies with him. He looked through it and saw that he had, twenty band aids, a full tube of dis-infectent gel, some gauze, some stitch string and some brand new needles, a couple of cotton balls, and a couple of pain relief pills. He shrugged and said, '' I wonder how long that will last in a place like this.'' He stood up and walked out of the room and into the Grand Hall. Since his room door was leading into and out of it.
He smiled as he saw what he looked like, he then said to himself, '' Awesome Miles, you can even rock these.'' He picked up his, Converse and slipped them on. The setting changes from Grand Hall to Garden/Courtyard
Miles stepped out into the Grand Hall and said to himself, '' Wow, I've never seen something like this before.'' He then took a tour around the mansion. He stopped when he heard voices coming from the Garden/ Courtyard. He walked over to the fancy glass door, that was leading out to the Garden. He peered into it and saw a boy and a girl talking. He walked into it, and said, '' Hey, are you guys lost and confused just like me? Or is this a trap?!'' He said that as he got into a fighting pose with his fists ready.
Madeline looks at the newest boy, who had just struck a fighting pose, and lost all control of her mask. She lets out a laugh, a real laugh. "No we're all stuck here. I'm Madeline, but you can call me Maddy, since you seem nice." She answers with a smile. her mask was off for some reason, and if she put it on now she would seem weird. Going from kind and laughing, to upset and snobbish would reveal it very quickly. "I wonder who else there is, I haven't seen anyone else so far." She wonders aloud for the two boys to hear. She would have to be careful, and she can't get attached to anyone. After all one team isn't going to get free, right? The girls will win. She won't let them lose. She doesn't particularly want to be the reason for a team to be destroyed or lost or however it works, but she has to get free. She has to get home. No, she doesn't have to, or need to, she will get home. Or she will die trying, that's all there is. She doesn't care about her old friends, so why should she care about these people just because they are in the same situation. That is how she usually thinks, and thinking that way will get her mask back on, right?
Miles looked at the girl and returned to his normal stance. He looked at her and smiled, he then said, '' My name is Miles. It is a pleasure to meet you Madeline- I mean Maddy.'' He recovered quickly and did a small bow with his head, his sign for respect. He looked around at the garden and said, '' So, where do you think we are exactly? I never heard of or saw a mansion where I used to live.'' Miles said that as he sat down on the bench next to Maddy. '' Do you think we might be in a different state or something?'' He then took notice of the boy again. He looked at him, then quickly looked away. Miles didn't like the feeling he got from this boy, he might start trouble. And Miles will be there to make sure nothing happens, it's just the way Miles is.
Madeline frowned as she thought of his question, where were they? She hadn't thought about it, they could even be from different states themselves. There wasn't a mansion anywhere near where she had lived, not even in the city. She thought hard on this and finally came up with nothing. Zip. "Probably" She replied. This place was really strange, she hadn't even seen half of these plants before, and her mom forced her to read plant books with the hope that she would one day take over her mothers business. No way she would, she just didn't want to be a professional gardener for the rest of her life. "If this PuzzleMaster person was able to kidnap us all and move us to a mansion in a different state, then could we even be from different states too? I'm from Montana. Where are you from Miles?" She asked, ignoring the blue-haired boy for the simple fact that he had yet to speak.

Miles looked at Maddy and said, '' We are from different states. I'm from Washington D.C.'' Miles looked at the blue haired boy and said, '' And.....you are?'' He tried to be nice, but he could tell that this kid, meant trouble.

"Madeline, and yours?"
Nori repeated this name in his head several times and while doing so, remained silent. She gave away her name so soon. That could have meant she wasn't the one to bring him here, because if she was, she wouldn't have given her name away so easily...
''Hey, are you guys lost and confused just like me? Or is this a trap?!''
Of course. Not long before someone comes to ruin his fun. Nori turned his head slightly to the strange looking boy and looked him over. He seemed pretty normal enough, but Nori let the the girl Madeline do the talking.
"No, we're all stuck here. I'm Madeline, but you can call me Maddy, since you seem nice."
Nori immediately stood up a little straighter and crossed his arms, his now furious gaze on the other boy. Nori took a large amount of offense from the younger girl, even though she had every right to say that. Nori just didn't realize it yet.
" My name is Miles. It is a pleasure to meet you Madeline- I mean Maddy.''
Nori was done with these people. Without a warning or goodbye, Nori began walking away to go find something else to do. There had to be other people he could meet, right? Someone to give him the respect he deserves? Obviously. All he had to do was give them something in return, a five star hotel room perhaps.. Well, he couldn't promise it right away because.. Nevermind. Nori continued to walk back towards the mansion, his arms still crossed and his glare pointed down at the pavement. Nori heard someone ask 'what's your name' from afar, but Nori was too far away to give them an answer. Oh f-ing well, he thought to himself.

Madeline watches the boy leave, now noticing his angry demeanor. Something one of them had done had obviously upset him. Wait, why did she care? This boy had been nothing but rude, well he said one thing rudely. She guesses that that shouldn't automatically identify him as an asshole did it? No, no it did not. Madeline frowns inwardly, before reminding herself that he is her enemy anyway. She can't become friends with these people, either them or she will escape. Not one, not the other. At least according to the note. She is at a loss for what to do now. Her mask is on, and she now has an odd air of snobbishness, though its not strong. "I think his abrupt departure may be my fault." She did notice that his mood seemed to darken after Miles arrived. What was that about? She wanders about it silently, then tells herself that she shouldn't linger on it. This repeats in her head. Finally she reaches the irritating conclusion of having no idea what to do or think.
The setting changes from A mansion that seemingly has no escape. to Garden/Courtyard
Miles just looked as the blue haired boy left. He just shrugged and looked back at Maddy, '' Do you mind if I go and take a look around here, Maddy? You can come, even though we are supposed to be enemies, we all have to get out. I think the best way, would be to help one another.'' He looked at her and smiled. He then stood up and went to go leave. '' My offer still stands, even to a douche like that.'' He said that as he looked in the direction of where the blue haired boy went.
She can't believe this. Her competitiveness starts to kick in, and she almost can't stand the idea of being helped by an enemy. But was he an enemy, really? They were in the same situation, they just got pinned up against each other. "I'll go along with your antic of helping each other. I'm not trying to be rude, but if push comes to tug then I'm going to fight my hardest. I have someone I need to get home to, what kind of person would I be if I abandoned him? I'll come with you." She replies, trying to make that sound snobbish but feels that she failed miserably, getting off the bench. "Where do you wanna go first? This mansion is huge."
Miles looked at her and said, '' Then we have more in common than I thought. I also have to get back and see someone. I can't abandon her, just like our father did. '' He looked around and said, '' I don't know exactly. This place is pretty huge. I guess we could start by going to the Grand Hall. That is, if you want to start there.'' He said that as he looked at her and smiled, she reminded him of a friend back home. He stepped aside, and said, '' Ladies first, right? ''
When he said that he was in the same situation, she almost let her mask go, almost. She didn't feel likelying anymore for some reason,
but whats the point in just stopping now. She just met this boy yet she was already letting go of the mask she even puts up for her parents, what is wrong with her? She nods at his remark, holding her head high and in a snobbish manner. 'Poor execution!' She thought, scolding herself on her mask. Maybe she should just leave him, then she wouldn't have to worry about the mask. No, she couldn't do that. While she had her snobbish behavior she isn't that rude. Madeline walks into the grand hall. She takes in all of its grandeur and then tries to figure out how to get where. "Ugh! This mansion is so confusing!" She yells into the air. She just couldn't understand it, and there wasn't a map. It took her a moment before she realized that the other her, as she has started calling her mask, would never do that. She slipped again, she never slipped before she came here and now she is slipping on her first day. God this just sucks. Why her, why did they choose her? Why did this person choose anyone actually. They were obviously here to entertain this 'puzzlemaster', yet who has such a sick mind as this? More importantly, Where In the world are we! Her mind swirls with thoughts and she quickly gains a headache.
Miles walked behind her, as they walked in her eyes widened. Miles smiled at her, then when Miles hear what she said, he looked at her and said, '' I know. That was my reaction when I came out of my room. Well, the room that I woke up in anyway. This place is pretty big, maybe we should split up and then meet up later. Maybe we can have a special signal to communicate if we get lost and need to find our way back here. What do you think Maddy?'' He said that as he looked around and touched some of the vases that were on a nice little, oak desk.
When Miles mentioned the signals an image of the characters in Alick's (her little brother) cartoon show making bird sounds when exploring a temple, one of them had gotten into trouble. She held back a laugh as she pictured it. "Umm, I don't really know what kind of signal could be heard through this gigantic house. But splitting up does sound like a good idea. I'm sure if we look at every painting we could find our way back, actually that sounds like a bad idea. If we get really lost we might see almost every painting and then we'd just get more confused." She replies. They would really have to just chance it huh?
Miles looked at her and said, '' How about the Mocking Jay? That has a special sound. And it can travel a great distance. The sound can anyway. I used to do it with Anna all the time.'' He smiled when her said that name. He also felt sad, since he knew if he didn't win, he would never see her again.
"Oh! I think I've heard those before, they used to visit Mom's gardens all the time. I would sit there and listen for hours, and occasionally Alick would come out and I would play with him." She smiles as she looks back at the memories. That's where she would always talk to Alick and be herself. It was the only time she didn't have to be perfect. And that made them the best memories of her life. She didn't know why she said so much, or even why she said what she did enthusiastically. For some reason she just couldn't keep her freaking mask on for this boy. "Ok. So I'll go that way," She points toward a door on the top of the stairs on the left side. Her face gets solemn again before she continues. "Just so you know, Alick is my 8 year old brother. He is who I need to get back to, and I will do anything to get back. Anything. Bye, I won't forget the call." She says. Running up the stairs and through the door. What she sees is a library, a really large one.
Miles looked at Maddy and said, '' Yeah I have to get back and see Anna. She's my little seven year old sister. I have to let her and everyone know what's going on. So no one else has to go through this crap.'' He looked at her and nodded as she told him about her little brother. He then said, '' I'll go this way.'' He pointed to the right, and went in that direction.

Miles walked around and found a door, He walked into it and saw that is was the kitchen, as he walked in, he walked in and got knocked to the floor by someone running into him. He fell with a thud and shook his head. He perked his head up and said, '' Look where you're going!'' He looked up and saw that it was the blue haired kid, he stood up to his feet quickly and said, '' Dude, you should put that sword away before you kill someone with that.'' He said that as he walked over to the counter and sat down on one of the stools.

The moment he bumped into the other boy, Nori dropped his Gipponese Sword and tumbled onto the ground with him. At first he was fairly startled, nearly breaking his arm from impact. But as soon as he realized what had just happened, he began to feel very apologetic.
"Look where you're going!"
Nori furrowed his eyebrows for a moment and began looking for his sword. Seeing it laying halfway across the room, he was a little relieved that he hadn't broken it.
'' Dude, you should put that sword away before you kill someone with that.''
"I-I know, I know.. I'm sorry.."Nori stuttered, gingerly standing up and going to retrieve his sword. "I don't normally practice with people around.. Are you alright?" He asked, sheathing his sword and walking over to the counter.
"Look where you're going!"
Nori furrowed his eyebrows for a moment and began looking for his sword. Seeing it laying halfway across the room, he was a little relieved that he hadn't broken it.
