Hook isn't your typical everyday pirate or at least not what everyone imagines him to be. The correct words for Hook's physique isโ€ฆ eccentric yet alluring.

His skin as soft as silk is bestowed upon him with a somewhat pale complexion. His posture is perfect, but he has a careless air about him. It continues with hair that reaches below his chin, which, due to his power, often changes between many colors, his favorites being blonde and black. Standing past six feet his limbs are long, his shoulders broad, his form laden with efficient, lean muscle. But due to his soft and rather feminine features his overall appearance have tricked many who think of him as delicate. But one must not be fooled by this sneaky captain, as he possess a well toned body that could rival the best of them, and shouldn't be underestimated if it came to a show of strength.

He holds a certain kind of confidence to him, a wildness, that could be described as, if not, animal-like. Perhaps what seals the deal is his hypnotizing blue eyes that through the plays of lights within may appear as an elegant diamond. Though it is the kind of elegance considered mysterious charming rather than beautiful attractive, wherein dark shades may complement its already cursed beauty.

The peculiarity of his features combined with the fact that his stares have a downright body trembling quality to them is enough to keep most folk at his side. Everything about him screams โ€œdangerous,โ€ and heโ€™s quite fine with that.

By no means does he come off as a slob, but it certainly seems as though the man has more important things to worry about than the details of his appearance. Not that any of this does much good to hide the obvious: either way, Hook's attire consist of a plain white shirt and dark pants, at times he puts on a plaid coat in red and a blue-ish shade of gray, which has yellow rims and sleeve ends, though Hook barely uses the sleeves at all and instead lets the coat loosely hang on top of his shoulders. Additionally, he wears a pendant around his neck that he refuses anyone to touch.

At other times, he is shown making use of his ability by turning himself into a bird-like creature. His body is then completely covered in black feathers, the only space not affected being the main part of his face. Two broad wings are shown either on his back or in the place of his arms when he uses them to fly.

Four layers make up this daring Captain:

i. On the surface he comes across as friendly, presenting himself, as charmingly sweet and a natural born smooth talker. He exhibits down-to-earth principles which endears him to those around him. In that regard, he is amicable and easily befriends others although, for him it is nothing too deep or too profound. He portrays himself with the tendency to be very self-sacrificing, willing to let his body take devastating blows for the sake of others. Loyal and gallant he is the definition of a model gentleman. Oh, what a lie...

ii. You have to remember Hook is a pirate. And just not any pirate, but the pirate Captain. Under the first layer, Hook appears as a sly devil with a carefree smile. Often giving the impression of absolute deceitfulness, and while he does have an untrustworthy feel to him, he's bound by the fact that he can only tell the truth. Though, somewhere down the line, he learned that if he spoke in enough contradictions, he was able to cause confusion and treat it as if he was lying or could. While he is not the poker face kind of guy, his smiles are hard to conceive, showing how much distance he puts between him and the next person. Of course after all, betrayal is nothing new to him and thus distrusting others is a logical consequence.

iii. Dig a little deeper and you will unravel a crafty individual. He thinks things through and uses his mind games to his advantage, he's incredibly sneaky and can seem perfectly innocent to the point you think he is a complete gentleman, until you discover his true intentions. His mind works faster than anyone could even comprehend and he shows no remorse using it against others.

iv.Honestly, this persona is probably the closest to his true self, if he even has one, then all the others. This man is a pragmatist. His motive for being or doing the things he does are to ensure the recognition and preservation of his own goals. For this reason, his morality is rather ambiguous. You see Hook has done many things and has chosen many paths, and in doing so he has gained various things, but also acquired consequences that throughout the years have dulled his humanity.
