Cassandra Lightearth

Queen of Fantasim Land

0 · 1,388 views · located in The Castle

a character in “Fantasim Land”, as played by PrincessLala17

Description

Image
Cassandra is a slender, young female with pale skin as white as snow.
She is approximately five feet, six inches tall and she weighs around 130lbs.
Her vibrant, scarlet-red hair is thick and curly, and it hangs down around her chin.
She has big, sparkling eyes that are a luminous emerald-green in colour, which is signature of most Lightearth women.
From her back sprout two large green and black monarchy butterfly wings, symbolising that she is an Earth fairy.
She very rarely smiles, but when she does, people are sure that her smile would be the most radiant, beautiful smile in all the Kingdom.
Cassandra's bow lips are a dark ruby red..

Personality

Cassandra's personality is very undetermined at the moment, perhaps because very few people come to see her.
Those who have seen her say that she is very quiet and not vocal at all, and that she never smiles.
The people of the Kingdom are hoping that she becomes a good, kind Queen, but it is doubtful that such a miracle will come to pass...

History

The beginnings...

Queen Ophelia was an evil queen, a wicked queen, a dark queen, a twisted queen.

Queen Kiara was an evil queen, a wicked queen, a dark queen, a twisted queen. She learned from her mother.

But Queen Cassandra? Is Cassandra evil? Is Cassandra wicked? Is Cassandra dark? Is Cassandra twisted?

From the moment that Princess Cassandra Lightearth was born, her mother and her grandmother have been teaching her their ways. She is taught to avoid friendship and kindness, to make her people fear her, for only out of fear can respect be born.

Cassandra watched as her mother and her grandmother lay waste to the city. She watched people die, she watched as people were executed, she watched her people suffer.

She was only a child, though.

Cassandra was always a quiet child. Her mother and grandmother never knew what she was thinking, but they trusted that her thoughts were dark. Proper, as Ophelia put it.

Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, everyone has a time. Ophelia's came when Cassandra was ten years old. The entire kingdom was made to mourn, though many rejoiced secretly, hoping that Kiara would be a good queen.

She wasn't.

Kiara was, perhaps, even worse than her mother. For another eight years, Cassandra watched her mother destroy Fantasim Land. What was once a lush, green, thriving world became barren and lifeless. A populace who once rejoiced, celebrated, and loved their lives were now miserable and suffering. A world that was once beautiful was now dark and painful.

The Queen...

Kiara was assassinated. It didn't come as a surprise to anyone, though. Rumours had been spreading throughout town of a rebel force preparing to bring down the wicked queen. It was very controversial even among the people. If Kiara was killed, what would happen? Would the rebels bring a new queen to power? Or would the Princess become the new Queen?

It didn't take them long to learn what would happen. The royal army tracked down every last rebel and executed them all. They made them suffer. And then, the eighteen-year-old princess, barely an adult, was made Queen.

So begins...

Cassandra smiled happily, gazing wordlessly into Sepiroth's eyes. He was so handsome, so elegant, so beautiful. She wasn't entirely sure what to say next. She'd kiss him, but she didn't want to seem too forward. So she simply gazed towards him, her eyes locked with his and her hand gently holding on to his.

- - -

Osirette quirked an eyebrow, curious as she walked along with him. She didn't say anything more, though, she just followed him. He was a curious man. He seemed quirky, and from what she'd heard, being around him would bring about nothing but the unpredictable.

Cassandra's green eyes went wide with surprise as Sepiroth leaned in and kissed her. It had been soft and short, but still enough to stir up a shy fluttering in her chest. Her breaths faltered momentarily, and then she leaned forward. She brought her lips gently to meet his, retuning the favour, this time staying to kiss him longer.

- - -

Osirette smiled at the man and nodded.

"Thank you very much, sir. Is there anything I could do to repay you for your kindness?" Kindness was a virtue that Osirette valued in people, so to encourage it, she always offered money or help or something whenever people showed her kindness. It meant morw to her than some may have realised.

Cassandra shut her own green eyes and kissed him softly, thrilled by the sensation of their lips together. This, she figured, this was perfection. She was kissing Sepiroth. It was everything she'd wanted since meeting him. It was more. She lifted her hand, the one that wasn't gently clasping his, and laid it softly on his cheek to steady herself against him, kissing him adoringly.

- - -

Osirette smiled a bit, shaking her head. He really was a very attractive man.

"I like that you see things that way," she told him softly. "It's such a shame that more people don't, though."

Cassandra shivered with delight as she felt him gently stroking her bright red hair. Everything was perfect. Her heart was pounding so hard she could feel it in her ears, but she didn't even care. She just cared that she was right there, kissing him, touching him, just being with him.

- - -

Osirette smiled up at him. She could feel her cheeks heating up somewhat at his words, but she had to be sure not to give him any heed. He was just another man. Another man who found her attractive, yes, but men were all the same.

"My name is Osirette," she replied, smiling up at him. "It's nice to meet you, Rahael."

Tentatively, Cassandra pulled back from the kiss. She gazed adoringly into his eyes, smiling shyly and excitedly all at once. She surely had to be the luckiest girl in the world, that was for certain.

"Sepiroth," she whispered, though she wasn't sure what else to say.

Cassandra blushed furiously at hearing him say her name, and she just smiled adoringly towards him. She didn't really know what to say. She opened her mouth to speak, but no sound came out, and she closed it back up again. She smiled nervously. Her dazzling emerald eyes were sparkling brightly, perhaps moreso than they ever had before.

"I'm really happy to have you here," she told him finally, grinning. "It's just an absolute pleasure... and I don't really want you to leave," she added with a slight giggle.

Cassandra grinned brightly at him when she heard his words.

"Then stay here with me," she whispered, hope in her voice, clasping his hand in hers. It was all she wanted.

Cassandra grinned at him, her heart fluttering just as her wings were. In that moment, she was so totally happy. Nothing could bring her down.

The timing seemed perfect as the servants walked in, each carrying another golden platter, these ones smaller than the ones on which dinner had been served. One servant set his platter down in front of Cassandra, and the other set his down in front of Sepiroth. They lifted off the lids to reveal on each platter a slice of rich chocolate cake, and with that, they left. Cassandra grinned at Sepiroth.

- - -

Osirette took her room key from the innkeeper and thanked him. She headed upstairs and unlocked the door of the room that he had indicated, slipping inside. It was a cosy, modest little room, and Osirette smiled to herself. It would do. All she wanted it for was sleeping, anyways. She'd spent her entire life in a bedroom, she had no interest in spending much more time in this one.

Cassandra didn't start to eat her cake yet. Instead, she sat and watched quietly as Sepiroth started carefully on his. She wanted to see his reaction, and she certainly wasn't disappointed. She smiled as she saw the way his face lit up. It was so sweet to watch him.

"I take it you're enjoying your cake?" she asked him in a playful tone, a delighted glint in her green eyes. She lifted her own fork and cut off a small mouthful of the cake, bringing it to her own lips and taking a bite. She was glad that Sepiroth was enjoying the cake. That had, after all, been the entire point of getting the cake in the first place. She'd wanted him to enjoy it, and now he was.

Cassandra grinned over at him adoringly. She was so glad that he liked it.

"It's better than nice, silly," she teased him in a gentle voice, taking another bite.

Rahael watched his father silently, sadly until he was fully still. He gave Rapheal's cold hand one last squeeze and his wings drooped, before he let it fall to his fathers side and then turned around, his pupils glowing bright red. "Sleep well," he murmured softly before walking over to the door and opening it. Rahael stepped out, his black boots making a slight noise against the wooden floor. Then he narrowed his eyes and sniffed twice. Ayala was there, good. A slight, twisted smirk flashed across his lips before he walked over to the door where the scent came from and stepped inside.

She was laying on the floor, barely breathing and looking totally gone. Rahael frowned and paused, tilting his head. What was she doing? Blood was leaking from a wound on her wrist and one of the candles had almost burnt out. Rahael wondered what would happen if it did so. He walked over to her and reached out his hand towards her, attempting to take hold of her hair. Quickly he withdrew his hand for he could suddenly feel a burning pain in it. Whatever she had done the pentagon was somehow shielding her. He glanced at one of the candles before he kicked it to the side. Then he tried to reach for her again. It worked. He took hold of her hair and lifted her up by it. She didn't even react. This surprised Rahael. It really was like she was totally gone. More gently he lifted her up and threw her over his shoulder. Then he used his enhanced speed to leave the inn unnoticed.

Last he had seen Sepiroth in the castle, so there was a chance he was there now as well. It hadn't looked like he was going to leave, after all. For that reason Rahael went to look there first. As soon as he'd entered he was proved right. He could feel Sepiroth's scent not too far away. With swift steps he walked through the castle, his black boots making a rather loud, clicking noise against the floor.

Rahael threw the doors to the dining room open, not caring if he interrupted anything. In he walked, noticing Sepiroth and the queen eating cake. "Sepiroth!" Rahael said, a hint of rage in his voice, although he kept his expression void of it. His eyes were still glowing bright red, though. "Your dear little sister here is responsible for my fathers death," he lifted unconscious Ayala down from his shoulder and placed her on the floor. It wasn't all true, as Rapheal had been dying anyways, but she'd hurried the process up! Ayala still didn't react. Her eyes were open but empty. It was like she was dead, weren't it for the fact that she was still breathing. Weakly, but breathing. It was like she was in some kind of trance.

"Either you will make sure she gets punished for her misdeeds yourself, or I will drag her down in the nearest torture chamber and I promise you, she won't get out alive," there was cooldness in his voice and his pupils glowed slightly brighter. Rahael was serious and he meant what he said. He wouldn't let her go around unpunished for what she did. He suspected by the way he had found his father she had done much more than necessary...

(Sometimes I regret playing her as a teenager... it always ends like this! <.< *sniffles*)

Rahael paused as he listened to him speak, my expression softening slightly. "I shall take her away but not harm her... like you said, revenge is a shameful act, a selfish excuse... and I shall not sink to her level," he carefully picked her up, then frowned slightly as he noticed her breathing stop, "although..." he continued, hesitating before saying anything more, "I maybe shouldn't have... " Rahel was interrupted by her suddenly breaking into a coughing fit, her eyes snapping open and life returning to them. She glanced around in confusion, her heart plunging right into her shoes when she saw Sepiroth. Quickly she looked away, tears filling her eyes once more. Ayala glanced up at Rahael and cringed slightly as she noticed he was holding her. He sighed and placed her down, turning his gaze away from the murderer of my father. "Although he was already dying when I left him... which I regret deeply." Rahael finished and looked down at his hands, "he would have died anyways, I'm sure... it was fate... but still..." his voice grew fainter and his wings drooped.

"He should have..." Rahael agreed softly, sadly. Ayala blinked and looked at them, her pale blue eyes widening in pure shock. "Wait?" she said slowly, her voice faint, "wait... he's dead?" her voice turned into something barely more than a whisper as she glanced between Rahael and her brother. She could defiantly not meet Sepiroth's gaze, so she refrained from doing so. Rahael's mouth tightened as he heard Ayala and he glanced at her, "you mean you didn't know your actions would kill him?" he asked wryly, making Ayala wince slightly. Rahael could seem rather intimidating when he wanted to... and Ayala wasn't the bravest person either. Ayala's mouth twitched slightly as she heard his voice and still looked shocked. Quickly she glanced down at her hands, shaking her head slowly, "No... that can't be right," she whispered weakly, "I didn't mean to kill him, I didn't even mean to harm him at first..." her voice was barely audible as she gazed down at her pale hands, "I-I... I'm not even a hundred percent s-sure what happened anymore..." she bit her lip hard enough to draw blood and did her best to stop spilling tears.

Ayala wiped her tears and started at the ground, still looking shocked. She couldn't speak, she couldn't do anything right then. She was too stunned to even think. I have just... killed somebody?! I have killed a person! A alive person! Why did I do that?! It makes no sense, no sense at all... He stomach knotted itself as she thought it and she felt sick. She looked up at Sepiroth and paused when she noticed him nod. It surly wasn't to her or Rahael. "Sepiroth..."

(*Grumbles and pulls Sephy's hair* It's not your fault, you idiot! *Glares at Noctis because he died and Ayala because of what she did* XD I actually kinda regret torturing Rapheal now... because of this, and because... he died anyways. *sniffles sadly*)

Ayala frowned as she watched him. She waited for a moment before repeating his name, this time with a somewhat harsher voice. "Sepiroth!"

(Well, I do still want to carry it out! :3 It just all has to happen sometime not too far into the future as then too much time will pass between the Rapheal incident and the others... :) )

Ayala first relaxed but then winced at the tone of his voice. At least he was looking at her. She bit her lip hard enough to draw blood before she looked up at him, taking a deep breath. "I-I'm sorry..." she said softly, sadly.

"That wasn't what I said I was sorry for..." Ayala muttered quietly, turning around and starting towards the door with her head lowered. She stopped in her tracks and turned her head slightly, gently rubbing her thin arm, "I know you hate me now and I know you will never forgive me... how could you? Not if I cannot even forgive myself..." she said quietly, looking down, "and aren't enough words to describe how incredibly much I regret what I did. I know there is no excuse for it, I know I disappointed you, I know I am a failure and should never have lived..." Ayala said softly, meaning ever word she spoke. She shut her eyes for a moment and twirled one of her golden locks between her fingers, "I don't know what came over me. Suddenly everything was a haze and I felt the so very strong urge to do certain thins. Right then that felt like it was what I had to do, like it was right... although I somewhere deep down must've known it was not," she paused, her hand beginning to shake slightly, "It isn't your fault I turned out this way, nothing is your fault, Sepíroth... you have to remember that," her voice was going quieter and weaker, "and no matter what, and no matter how much you hate me... and no matter how much you cannot forgive me and how much I regret what I did and how much I hate myself for it... and how much I am ashamed of myself and I can understand you don't want to see me anymore... I will always love you and to me you will always be my big brother, the one I looked up to and cared about so much... I will always be forever grateful to you," with that said she pushed open the door and slowly began walking away.

Cassandra sat in absolute silence, watching what happened before her. She felt a little awkward, and quite unsure what to say. She quietly lowered her head, awkwardly picking at her cake with her fork. She didn't feel she had a place in this conversation, so she would instead wait for it to finish. She simply listened to this girl and Sepiroth speak. From what she was getting, this blonde was Sepiroth's sister... and she had killed a friend of his. The father of the blond man who had come in with her. Cassandra's ruby lips angled downwards in a slight frown. Finally, the blonde girl left. Cassandra lifted her head again and peeked at Sepiroth through a few loose red curls that had fallen in her face.

"Sepiroth?" she asked him in a soft voice.

Cassandra gently outstretched her hand and took his again, tilting her head to the side rather quizzically. She wanted to ask if he was okay, but she was afraid that it would come across as a dumb question and that he'd be upset by it. So instead, she just offered him a reassuring smile and held his hand gently.
