Osirette Trebuchet

Nobody can hurt me without my permission.

0 · 853 views · located in Fantasim Land

a character in “Fantasim Land”, as played by PrincessLala17

Description

Image

Osirette is a very beautiful young lady.
She is sixteen years old.
Just a year younger than her mother was when she died.
She is slender with curves in all the right places.
Her skin is neither pale nor dark, but tanned to perfection.
Her eyes are a startling lime-green in colour. She got them from her father.
Her hair is long and thick, hanging around her in loose waves.
It is light brown in colour. She got it from her mother.
Osirette doesn't typically wear makeup.

Personality

Image

Osirette is very tough and confident.
She is a strong young woman.
She doesn't need anybody to help her because she is independent.
Though she is strong, she has lots of painful memories.
She is very talented and will always try something new.
Despite all this, she is very cold.
She will never speak unless spoken to, and she tells people very little about her personal life.
She has a hard time becoming close to people.
She tends to put herself before everyone else.
If she does grow close to someone, though, she is loyal and caring.
She has no interest in romance.
She believes that romance will only lead to heartache and pain.

Equipment

Osirette is always carrying a bow.
Her bow is made of maple.
Osirette carved it herself.
She wears a quiver made of brown leather that she also crafted herself.
She spends much of her spare time making new arrows.
Her arrows are very mismatched,
with different feathers on the ends and different stones or pieces of metal as tips.
Strapped around her calf with a strip of brown leather, Osirette carries a dagger.
The handle of her dagger is made of a bone that she stole from a stall in a market.

History

Osirette's mother was seventeen years old.

Only seventeen.

And it wasn't her choice, either.

She was kidnapped.

Stolen away from her home and her family by a hideous monster.

He took the young Paulette away with him.

He took her to his home, a mansion hidden deep within the Dark Woods.

He raped the young teenager.

And despite all that, Paulette had the audacity to fall for him.

And once she had, she broke his spell.

The cruel, horrid spell cast on him long ago by an unknown force.

The spell that kept a handsome man trapped in the form of a beast.

With his beastly form gone, there was nothing to keep Paulette and Osiris from being in love.

At least, not until Paulette's pregnancy.

It was unexpected. It was unwanted. It wasn't, however, unwelcome.

They prepared eagerly to have their child.

But as Paulette lay in bed and delivered her child, neither of them knew that she was also lying on her deathbed.

Giving birth to baby Osirette killed the teenaged mother.

Osiris was heartbroken.

For a short time, he lived by himself with his baby daughter.

He loved her and cared for her.

But one day, a new woman arrived.

Osiris fell in love with this vampire newcomer.

Ivy was like Paulette, yet very unlike her at the same time.

Ivy and Osirette took to instantly disliking one another.

Ivy was coercive and manipulative.

Osiris spent much of his time with Ivy, seeing Osirette only when she was to be fed or changed.

Osirette grew up lonely and sad.

She spent all of her time alone in her room.

As a child, she would gaze out the window, wondering what lay beyond the woods.

Osiris and Ivy got married.

Osirette's new stepmother made sure that the young girl really was alone.

Her father almost never saw her anymore.

She soon learned to take care of herself.

She left her room in the night, when Osiris and Ivy were asleep.

She got herself food, and she played downstairs, and she ran herself hot bubble baths.

As she slowly neared her teenage years, she began to sneak outside.

She would play and explore in the dark woods.

She never left the woods, though.

She crafted herself a bow, and arrows.

She taught herself to shoot.

At night, she was the mistress of the dark woods.

And by day, she hid away in her room, almost forgotten by her father and his new wife.

After a second month without even seeing them, though, Osirette decided to change things.

She started sneaking into Ivy's room.

She stole Ivy's dresses, the ones that stayed shoved in the back of the closet because Ivy never wore them.

Osirette took the dresses apart.

She used the fabric to make herself new clothing.

She crafted herself a quiver and she made herself a number of arrows.

And one night, while the household slept, Osirette snuck out.

She didn't look back.

She didn't return.

Morning was rising when she left the woods for the first time.

And Osirette began her new life, away from her childhood prison.

So begins...

Cassandra smiled curiously as she listened to his words. He was wise. She loved that.

"So what you're saying," she murmured, "is that I should give them things that will distract them from the fact that I am keeping many other things from them?" It seemed brilliant to her.

- - -

Osirette passed silently through the gates. A cool wind ruffled through her thick waves of hair, and her shocking lime eyes peered around. The place was very dismal. It seemed almost deserted. Yet, there were faint signs of life everywhere. A young man, probably homeless, asleep in an alley. A cat perched in a window, staring at her as she passed. Smoke from the chimneys. Yes, this place was filled with people...but the people didn't seem to be living very good lives.

The young girl continued to walk, her leather boots thudding softly against the cobblestone streets as she strolled along them. Surely there was someone out and about who could tell her where she was. She didn't have the slightest clue.

(^_^ Glad I could help :3)

Rahael strolled along the street, cringing in pain as the twitching of his wings inside his back became worse and worse. He gritted his teeth, tugging the ribbon around his wrist harder and harder with each twitch of his feathery friends. Soon they would break out of his already so scarred back. He sighed at the thought, then reminded himself that he was lucky enough to still have them. He had at least gotten what he'd been searching for, an enchanted gemstone which now lay in his pocket. Rahael was on his way back to the inn.

He blinked and paused, tilting his head to the side when he spotted a beautiful girl with lime green eyes. A weak smile twitched on his lips as he walked up to her. "Is there anything I can help you with, miss? You seem lost..." he mentioned softly. It wasn't that he suddenly trusted woman again or anything, but he liked to help people when he could, and she did indeed look lost.

Cassandra smiled up at him. She loved his eyes.

"Sepiroth, that's brilliant," she told him softly. "I think that's exactly what I needed. It's perfect," she continued, her emerald eyes glittering thankfully. "I don't know how to thank you for that."

Just then, interrupting their heart-to-heart talk, a pair of servants walked in. Each carried a golden platter and they set them down on the table. They lifted off the lids - one was a platter of various meats, while the other platter had a large bowl of salad. The servants then set down a golden plate in front of both Sepiroth and Cassandra, and with another bow, they left.

Cassandra smiled towards Sepiroth somewhat.

"It seems food is here," she said with a soft giggle.

- - -

Osirette looked up as a man approached. Even she had to admit that he was handsome, and she gave him a kind smile.

"Actually, there is, just one thing," she said to him, "could you perhaps tell me where we are? I'm just passing through," she added quickly, not wanting him to think that she was a newcomer or anything of the sort. She might stay a few days, but it was too close to the Dark Woods where her father and stepmother were. She wanted to be far, far away from them, and staying in this Kingdom couldn't give her that.

Rahael gave her a very slight, handsome smile and nodded his head, glancing around. "You are in the town of Fantasim Land, miss," he said softly in his slight French accent. He studied her carefully and although he had no interests in a romantic relationship at all, he had to admit she wasn't just beautiful, she was stunning. And her smile was the prettiest smile he had ever witnessed. Mentally he slapped himself for even thinking like that. Woman were false and would always leave you with a broken heart, love was pain! Still, his father had pointed out not all woman were 'harpies'...

Cassandra blushed, smiling a bit. She also helped herself to some of the salad, once he was done.

"Don't worry," she told him softly. "I quite enjoy your company, too." She gave him a kind smile, and then she took a bite of the salad. She was having such a wonderful evening so far. She could only hope that her night with Sepiroth would continue to go well. Perhaps they'd go to the ballroom and dance together when they were finished eating. Or they'd go sit in the garden and talk... There were so many possibilities and Cassandra had no idea what she wanted to do next. She figured it best, though, to just sit and take things as they came. She would focus on dinner now, and talking with him and enjoying herself.

- - -

Osirette gave the man another kind, warm smile and she nodded.

"Well, thank you," she said softly, pausing. "Do you know of a place where I could stay for a few nights?"

Rahael nodded his head slightly, cringing once more as his wing thudded against the inside of his back. "Yes," he said softly, a soft gasp escaping his lips as his face twisted very slightly in pain, "I do know... would the inn of the town suffice?" he quickly pulled himself together and gave her a strained smile. His wings thudded against his back again.

Cassandra grinned over at him, and then took another bite of her salad, and then another. It was pretty good, she had to admit. And so far, all was going well. She ate in silence, sneaking glances at the handsome man dining with her every now and then between bites. He truly was a sight to behold, and she considered herself very lucky to have him there in the castle with her.

- - -

Osirette frowned a little bit as she watched him. He looked to be in slight pain.

"It would... are you alright?" she asked him softly, her shocking lime eyes gazing towards him.

Rahael grimaced and then nodded his head, forcing himself to stand up straight and to ignore the pain as good as she could. "Yes, I am fine..." he said softly, although it was a obvious lie. He cringed again and sighed, "In fact, I'm not... step back if you don't want blood to splatter all over you," Rahael said quickly, biting his lip. He didn't want them to come out when he was in public, but they didn't seem to give him any chance. "I'll take you there in a minute, miss..." he added in gasps, cringing once more and quickly pulling off his coat and shirt, so that they wouldn't be in way of his wings. A moment later Rahael fell to his feet, one of his wings broke out from his back, splattering blood all around him. He gritted his teeth to stop himself from screaming...

Cassandra peeked up at him and let out a soft giggle as they eyes met. She quickly averted her gaze, shifting it back down to face her salad as she ate it, though there was a smile on her lips. She surely had to be one of the luckiest women in the world, to have such a handsome man there at her side. All that she had left to do was to ensure that Sepiroth fell in love with her. She was almost certainly falling for him, and he seemed to reciprocate her feelings, but she had no way of knowing for sure just yet.

- - -

Osirette lifted one hand and covered her mouth in surprise as she watched the man. From his words, he seemed to know what was happening. Did he have some sort of bizarre disorder? Did this happen to him often? He'd said to give him a minute, so perhaps she'd wait and ask while he was leading her to the town inn later. She felt very uncomfortable, though, and somewhat shyly turned her head away from the sight before her.

A soft cry escaped Rahael's lips as the other one broke out. The two wings fluttered twice, shaking off the blood and then snatched into place against his back, making him wince ever so slightly. He let out a sigh of relief when it was over. Rahael was still in pain, but this was pain easier getting used to. Besides, his back would heal within minutes, leaving behind only the big scar which was already there. He glanced around, blushing slightly in embarrassment and trying to figure out what to do to get fully dressed again, without hurting his wings.

Sighing to himself he pulled out a dagger from his pocket and cut two big holes into his blue overcoat and shirt. It was sad because they were very nice ones, but still. With slight difficulty he managed to pull them back on, then smiled at her weakly. "I'm done..." he said with a soft sigh, his angelic wings fluttering very slightly.

Cassandra finished her salad shortly after Sepiroth, and she smiled up at him. She reached out and gently grasped the glass of wine, lifting it to her lips for a gentle sip. She smiled at him.

"So, now what?" she asked with a soft giggle. "Should we call them back for dessert?" Dessert sounded quite appealing, she thought, though anything sounded appealing as long as she was doing it with him.

- - -

Osirette frowned slightly, and gave him a small nod. She eyed the wings on his back suspiciously, wondering exactly what had just happened.

"Dare I even ask what just happened?" she asked him, ruffling her brown hair with one tanned hand.

Rahael shrugged his shoulders and hesitated before nodding his head slightly. "I am an half angel with troublesome wings, this happens usually when I don't it to happen at all... they come out from my back and then retreat again. I have not yet learned how to control it," he admitted as his wings stretched slightly, "I am truly sorry for this... no one should be forced to wittiness it and..." Rahael paused again, "I understand if you think me to be strange or feel uncomfortable in my company," a somewhat sad, shameful smile flashed across his lips, "but may I still take you to the inn?"

Ayala frowned from where she watched the son of Rapheal, tilting her head the the side, her pale blue eyes glinting in the darkness very slightly. "Be glad you at least still have your wings, child..." she muttered darkly, stepping out from the shadows. It was ironic, for Ayala looked four years younger than Rahael, who had the appearance of a twenty-one year old. Yet in truth she was so much older. Well, not much, but a bit, at least... it all depends on what you see as old.

Cassandra gazed towards him, surprised.

"You've never had a dessert?" she asked him softly. That just about sealed it. She lifted her hands and clapped them together gently, and the two servants came quickly scurrying in. One took their plates and the other gave Cassandra a deep bow.

"Will you be wanting dessert, my Queen?" he asked.

"Most certainly," Cassandra replied.

"What would you like for dessert, my Queen?" asked the servant.

"You know my favourite," she answered, and the servant asked nothing more, simply bowed and retreated. Cassandra grinned towards Sepiroth. "You're going to love this," she told him.

- - -

Osirette was about to answer the handsome blond man when a girl stepped out of the shadows and spoke in a low voice. Osirette looked towards the blonde girl and frowned somewhat, but then returned her gaze to the man.

"Of course you may," she told him softly.

Rahael gave her a slight smile, then glared at Ayala. He looked back at the girl. "Then come with me," he said softly, starting to walk and deciding to simply ignore Sepiroth's sister. It wasn't his fault she had caught his father in a bad mood, after all. Who knew, she may as well would have had her wings cut off by his hands instead of his fathers, had Rapheal had a bad enough day. "And you better hurry to the inn," she added coldly, "I don't know how much longer he'll stay alive..." Rahael froze at her words, narrowing his eyes and glancing back at her. "Who?" he asked slowly, although he was already pretty sure who. His voice was low and dangerous at that moment. Ayala smiled at Rahael and shook her head slightly, twirling the bloody knife between her delicate, pale, fingers. "Your father..." she said softly before vanishing.

Cassandra let out a soft laugh, shaking her head lightly. Poor Sepiroth. He'd had a difficult life, and now he was excited about dessert.

"This won't make you fat unless you eat way too much of it," she told him softly. "I eat dessert every night, but I'm clearly not fat," she added with a soft little giggle, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

- - -

Osirette frowned, a little disgusted by this girl. She seemed totally crazy. And then she was gone, and Osirette blinked in surprised.

"If you want to go," she said to him softly, "you can. I can find the inn on my own, and crazy girl there kind of looked like she was threatening your father's life..." Osirette paused. Even with the neglect she'd suffered in her childhood, she'd gladly save her father's life over and over again. Even if she wasn't going to get any recognition from doing so, too...

Rahael sighed softly and shook his head slightly. "Father is at the inn, so I can still take you there," he mentioned as he began walking, his mood having darkened slightly, "And Ayala... well, she is somewhat crazy," he agreed with a slight nod of his head, "but I guess there isn't even one half demon half angel who isn't somewhat crazy. Their personalities get all messed up..." Rahael said with a soft sigh, glad that he was an angel and human mix and not an angel and demon mix. His lips twitched into a very slight smile after a moment of silence, "she didn't use to be like that... not too long ago she was just really quiet and obedient, doing everything her older brother told her to do... then... something happed which must have stirred awake her demonic side and traits." Well, it had always been there, but it had never showed as strongly as after the Rapheal and her wings incident.

Cassandra smiled slightly. Again, she outstretched her arm and gently took his hand in hers.

"Well, it's not ever going to be like that again," she told him confidently. "You will always be happy, comfortable, and well-fed as long as you're in Fantasim Land. I can promise you that," she continued, her eyes sparkling with the honesty and truth of her words.

- - -

Osirette nodded slightly, walking along with him quietly and listening to his words. She'd never met a demon, nor had she ever met an angel, let alone meeting a half demon half angel. Perhaps that was because her life in the woods had been so sheltered, though. Ivy was a vampire, but she really didn't display any vampire traits. She had fangs, and Osirette figured she drank her father's blood, but that was about it.

"I see," she murmured as they walked along.

(Okay! Byeee! :3)

"Be glad you haven't... if anyone's messed up it's them... but they can have good traits as well, when they're not totally crazy," Rahael said softly, thinking of Sepiroth. Sepiroth- the man who had turned Rahael into a slave when the boy was only five! Yet he had also helped Rahael with his problems... so there were defiantly pros and cons with half angels half demons...

Cassandra smiled happily, gazing wordlessly into Sepiroth's eyes. He was so handsome, so elegant, so beautiful. She wasn't entirely sure what to say next. She'd kiss him, but she didn't want to seem too forward. So she simply gazed towards him, her eyes locked with his and her hand gently holding on to his.

- - -

Osirette quirked an eyebrow, curious as she walked along with him. She didn't say anything more, though, she just followed him. He was a curious man. He seemed quirky, and from what she'd heard, being around him would bring about nothing but the unpredictable.

Rahael smiled weakly as they reached the inn, trying to hide how anxious about his father he was. "Here we are, miss," he said softly, pushing the door open and holding it open for her. His mind was racing and he wondered what in the world the had could have done to Rapheal, and how that would have affected his father. Rahael wasn't happy at all! Rapheal had already been so weak when he left, and the blood on the knife did smell like Rapheal's. He bit his lip. Rahael knew about his fathers illness and didn't at all like the thought of him bleeding to death.
