Name: Áine Byrne
Alias: Hawk
Meaning of Name: radiance
Age: 20 in appearance. Is really 30 because she was in the sector that was frozen for 10 years.
Gender: female
Blood Type: O positive
Zodiac Sign: Capicorn
Birthplace: Lower, sector six
Current Residence: Lower, sector ten
Occupation: Training to be a fighter/black market runner
Talents: Making impromptu weapons
Appearance: Stands at five foot seven inches tall and barely weighs a hundred and twenty pounds soaking wet. Has medium length light blonde hair with blue gray eyes. Her eyes always seem to give her away, but they also show the things she’s seen in life. She wears her hair either down or in a high ponytail. She doesn’t mind changing the style so long as the hair is kept out of her face. She has pale skin that never seems to tan, which annoys her greatly because she feels like she's a beacon in the dark.
Noticeable Features: Áine has a scar about an inch wide and goes across her right shoulder blade to her left side at the bottom of her ribs. After getting “killed”, she has a scar at the center of her chest right under her breasts in the middle and of course an equal one on the back. She also has one on her left ankle all the way around.
Clothing: Wears a white tank top and brown pants. Never seen in anything else. Has brown hiking boots that her pants are tucked into. Has a black pouch on each leg at the thigh. There she keeps all of her weapons since she doesn’t carry a gun, considering most every fighter doesn’t.
Weapons: Typically uses daggers or knives. Has a great talent of using just about any type of metal wire and making it into a weapon of some kind. So Áine keeps a pair of scissors in her pouch along with a small amount of wire for emergency purposes.
Biggest Vulnerability: Getting attached to people. She’s afraid to make connections because she doesn’t want them taken away from her like so many before hand.
Family: Father died when she was five, and her mother left home on day, at age ten, and never came back. She learned later she had died trying to get sector ten unfroze.
Animal: Crow
Personality: Áine has a lot of patience when it comes to things. If she’s got a plan she’ll take all the time she needs to make sure everything goes according to plan perfectly. She has a hard time knowing when to stop, meaning that is typically all work for her, no play. She’s more interested in bringing her parents’ murderers to justice than in living her life. She’s not afraid to take risk to get the job done. What Áine wants most is for things to settle down so that she can feel safe again like back when she had both of her parents.
Most important childhood memory: The day her mother brought home the three fighters and told them how thing really went on and showed them around. Her mother promised her that they would change things by knowing. She used to believe then, now she doesn’t.
BIO: Áine was born when her mother was fifteen years old. As bad as her world was her parents both tried to give her everything they could. Unlike most people they had a home with two bedrooms. They never tried to shield her from the world as they taught her how to survive in it. At the age of five her father was murdered by a fighter. Known for his ability with technology he was a threat to the government due to him “slum” birthing. Her mother vowed vengeance and so the intense training for both of them began. Áine was to be trained so that she could be a fighter and get out of the common slums. Two years later her mother returned with three other fighters. Two of them she knew would help the rebellion, but they wouldn’t be a force with it. The other one who stood alone, something about him caught the seven year old attention. When nothing happened for years, Áine began to lose faith. The day her mother disappeared set it all in stone. No one was to be trusted. Shortly after the freeze came and luckily/unluckily for her, she was one of the ones who was frozen for ten years. After the freeze was over she learned her mother had died and that while she was still ten years old she was actually twenty. Devoting herself entirely to her training, she finally gained access to the upper class. Áine quickly put herself into the arena. Which she was sure she would have completed had it not been for the son of the fighter she knew would change things. But first she has to recover from being dead.
