Introduction
Scientists have found the gene that allows people to bypass the limitations of the mind, unlocking true 100% potential, thus making human beings Gods in a literal sense. This gene known as the God Gene is believed to be the cause for the rise of a sub-race of super humans once thought extinct.
The theory goes is that the gene has always been dormant within humanity up from the time that the earliest civilizations started to spring about, it's believed that early homo sapiens didn't need to access more of their minds abilities as they had come to rely on each other, the trade off for civilization was their psychic powers, this would mean that early human beings were in fact Gods! to confirm this scientists set out to find archaeological evidence to support this view and in doing so they found the bones of a cro-magnon man, the remains of this man discovered in what we refer to presently as the country of Greece, when studying this mans bio craniopath structure, it was found that this man could command electricity, it is worth noting that the recorded name of the man was Zaseus, a more literal translation of this name would be Zeus!
So now that it's been found that humans have the potential to ascend to the ranks of Gods & Goddesses written about in lore, what will it mean for the world? There have been some interesting developments since this remarkable discovery. The term Psychicher has been used to refer to individuals who are capable of accessing mental feats beyond the 10% mental threshold.
Governments throughout the world have been in a race to discover as many Psychichers and enlist them in intelligence and defense. China leads the world with the most known psychichers at 187, America follows up with 152 known, Russia and Japan both each have 143 psychichers of their own and Israel has 130 psychichers, although that number is believed to be somewhat inflated. It's been theorized that the next war will be waged on a psychological front, although the use of psi-warfare as it has been called has been expressly forbidden by much of the international community, comparing it to the use of nuclear weapons.
There have been numerous schools to train "Gifted" students since the discovery of the psychichers, the largest exists in london. Tenjuin Academy, named after its founder Elmore Tenjuin who is thought to be the foremost authority of the psychicher community and one of its most proficient masters. She explained that she created Tenjuin Academy for the purpose of bringing all humanity together and so that Psychichers can exercise their gifts for the betterment of the world. Tenjuin Academy serves an important role as buffer to the individual nations, brokering the breakdown of power as it relates to choosing which psychichers from which country it will accept. Without Tenjuin, it's possible that we could enter a third world war.

PSI is the ability to manipulate yourself, your surroundings, or others using the power of the mind. As Matsuri(notable psychicher) explains, it works by using the brain's full capacity instead of only a part of it. Since this can potentially cause serious damage, comparable with overheating, humanity evolved a blocker in order to limit the brain's maximum used capacity.
PSI users are able to momentarily focus their five senses, or in other words their physical abilities, to incredible degrees. PSI itself is divided into three general forms: Burst, Trance and Rise & one newly revealed form, Nova. With each form they are based on the basic rule that before using any PSI you have to make a mental picture first.
Burst
Burst, in summation, is the ability to manipulate the world around you. In essence, you channel and manipulate energy or matter in the surrounding environment. Burst has a number of forms it takes, ranging from the ability to move objects with only your mind, the power to command fire or lightning, or even the ability to manifest solid objects. Powerful Burst users are capable of unleashing absolute devastation, destroying or altering the world around them to their will. As if to counteract this, Burst puts a tremendous strain on the user, proportional to the power of their ability. In addition, breaking or even damaging the Burst can lead to a breakdown of the mind or body.
Trance
Trance, at its most basic, is the ability to manipulate the minds of others. So far, it has been used to read minds, "dive" into memories, and force the target to see illusions. However, the possibilities for Trance go far beyond just what has been displayed so far; for instance, it is theoretically possible to completely control a target. However, there are less dangerous uses of Trance, such as being able to locate the enhanced minds of others using PSI or communicating between two PSI users however unlike Burst waves, Trance thought waves are directly affected by the outside atmosphere and can be blocked by any defense in battles.
Rise
Rise is used to manipulate the user. Rise powers can be subdivided into three types: "sense", "strength," and "healing".
Sense-type Rise increases the 5 senses of the user (sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch) to extraordinary levels and also increases the user's reflexes.
Strength-type Rise focuses on the user's physical body, increasing the body's physical strength, speed, and endurance. It can simply be referred to as Super Human Strength.
Healing-type Rise ties into Strength-type but focuses more towards the body's endurance. When trained properly, the user can reduce the amount of damage being taken and how long it will take for their body to recover from damage such as a large cut or bruise. There are types of people that can "share their rise to another person and heal their body instead of their own."
Nova
Nova is a PSI limiter removal type of form where the user and their PSI energy merge. Since the users body is more energy than matter, they are known as an existence instead of a person. The down side to this great power is it's terrible aftereffects. After one reaches their limit the power disappears almost as quickly as it came leaving the users completely drained and bleeding from the eyes and nose (most likely from the immense stress put on the brain). For people who are learning it, if they don't have full control over Nova than they become engulfed by it and cease to exist(think Kaoiken)
Nova is the last potential of PSI, as limitless as a human brain's and the universe itself. It is the combination of all aspects of Psi: Burst, Rise, and Trace. Nova energy can be transferred onto other people through touch, but the pain is excruciating because every cell in the area is affected.
As to be expected, there are different titles used to categorize the proficiency of a psi-user depending on his/her level of mastery of the psi elements. They are as follows:
Vegetable-Someone who has yet to bypass the 10% mental limiter
Novice-This is someone who can bypass the 10% limiter, but is more than likely untrained in the utilization of Psi. Common Psi proficiency range between 15%-30%.
Psi-Adept-Someone who can regularly use Psi with some proficiency, has an understanding of the principles of Psi, their abilities would be equivalent to someone who graduates the academy but is by no means a master. Their Psi ranges between 30-50%
Psi-Master- An elite Psi user who can be described as "genius" or "expert", Psi-Masters are commonly found working in government agencies or teaching classes at Tenjuin Academy, psi proficiency ranges between 50-70%.
Psi-God- A title awarded to someone who can break past the 75% mental limiter, it's believed that most Nova users are this. There are no known Psi-God's in existence.

-A rather thick morning haze occupied the streets of the British capital, London. Although mists were a fairly common occurrence for that part of Britain during that particular time, this particular haze permeated much of the city's landscape with such denseness and spaciousness that it almost seemed fictional in nature , adding with it a bit of supernatural atmosphere. Although morning mists were fairly common for London. One might suggest that such a haze were symbolic, even serving as a sort of metaphor to foreshadow the tone of that evening, after all this day would bear special significance as the day that Tenjuin Academy would open its doors to bring forth a new year for prospect students hailing from nearly every nation . A sort of multi-cultural microcosm of the world, each student serving as a sort of representative for their countries whether they wanted to or not. A new year, a new promise. With that, the mist that had gripped London waned instantaenously.
From the looks of it, a crowd had assembled outside. It always was easy to tell who had belonged to which group. Tenjuin students usually wore tan blazer jackets with the schools emblem stitched in intricate hand-detail, black slacks, a type of skirt for girls, the choice of tye was always left optional to the individual student to exercise a bit of personal expression. The symbol of the school was of a coat of arms shield with the greek symbol for Psi on the top right and bottom left spaces, parallel to that were "T and J" in a handwritten classical font. Incomming students usually dressed discordantly and wore a befuddled look on their faces , and of course the media were easy to spot because flickers and flashes usually accompanied them, announcing their intention. It seemed like the group which consisted of entirely fresh recruits had waited outside the gates for what what felt like a 10 minute interval until off in the distance, way high in stratosphere , a figure in flight approached the group. It was definitely neither plane or bird.

The new students all looked so confused and scared and Noa's heart, like always, went out to them.
Why am I here?
I don't understand why they made me leave.
There's nothing wrong with me! I'm not a monster! There's nothing wrong with me!
Noa stopped seeing their thoughts and frowned for a moment. She knew all to well those same feelings. She could still feel them from time to time, when she was desperately alone and unable to sleep. Anymore, Noa did her absolute best to keep her students well-being at the forefront of her mind.
In the distance, a figure began to descend from the sky and Noa giggled a little. So dramatic. With a little shake of her head and her heart-warming smile returned, Noa Zahavy made her way from her classroom and down to the front doors of the Tenjuin Academy.

Kennith stood amongst the large crowd in slight disbelief. Wow, I didn’t know that there would be this many people. He thought to himself as he looked around at the large vitiates in nationality. He had never seen such a large and varied group of people. The crowd was large, but he tried to make sure and keep out of the other student’s personal space. A few flashes caught his eyes open and he blinked a few times, seeing bright blotches as they impaired his sight. Geez, there’s a ton of media here too… He rubbed his eyes, moving his glasses up on his head. He looked up, readjusting his glasses and saw a video camera pointing in his direction. I wonder if mom and dad can see me? He thought as he stared much like a deer in headlights before the black lens.
After a few seconds, Kennith turned back around and looked at the academy. Why are they taking such a long time? He wondered as he brought his hands up to his mouth and blew warm air on them. It’s pretty cold out here, I hope they hurry. He wasn’t used to this cold and wet London weather. The uniform helped, but not as much as he would have liked. Suddenly, he heard a gasp as someone pointed up into the sky. Following the finger, he looked up to see what the commotion was about. Kennith squinted, it looked like an object was descending from a great height. What’s that? He asked himself out of disbelief and impulse.
It was too small to be a plane, to big to be a bird. Kennith heard a few exclamations behind him from the media, then he heard a roar of camera clicks and flashes. He began to recognize the object as more a figure, somebody rather than something. Could it be an advanced psychicher? I knew there were some strange powers, but flying? Could I fly? He wondered. The concept seemed rather romantic to him, he briefly visualized soaring through the clouds like superman. He continued to watch intently as the figure descended.

“What a great day! Don'tcha think?”
Slender arms stretched outwards, accompanied by a loud, obnoxious yawn. Within one of his outstretched hands was a plastic bag, dangling from a cheap-looking black handle by the end of his hooked thumb. The uniform was meticulously folded inside, looking as if it hadn't ever been touched or unwrapped from it's starched slumber; let alone actually worn. The academy had high standards for proper etiquette and outwards appearances, but Ramune was always excused. Religion and political beliefs were important, so if anyone felt strongly towards wearing crosses, pendants, or certain cultural clothing—they certainly could, within reason. Either that, or they'd just given up pestering him. They'd finally settled for modifying his current ensemble. His Turkish punjabi pants were dyed the academy's colours; a bland tan with black accents to embody the students black slacks and matte blazers. The school's emblem had been stitched into the black sash tied around his waist and the matching scarf billowing from his neck. Without the intricate details, his entire ensemble would be as boring as the uniforms the students' were forced to endure.
He stood plaintively next to the multicultural signs, only a few paces from the larger Netherlands banner flapping in the chilling breeze. Honestly, Ramune wondered why they were outdoors when the weather was so nippy. He swiftly saluted the oncoming students, shivering and doe-eyed from the London's peculiar atmosphere, and held his flattened palm against his forehead. The thick haze made it hard to see anything, or anyone for that matter, and squinting wasn't helping matters. Camera flashes peppered through the thick fog, announcing the media's unwelcome presence. Ramune's fingers dropped from his face. They were probably harassing the new students, near-blinding them with all those flashes. So, so rude. Always sticking their noses in things that didn't involve them directly. He pinched the bridge of his nose, flipping the poster-board around so that the words: Holland, blinked and flashed away, only to reappear again.
Ramune caught sight of one of the teachers—otherwise called Noa (or Nona, as he adored calling her), looking onto the bewildered faces with soft smiles and kind eyes. He nearly dropped his board trying to flail his hands in the air; a sordid attempt of greeting without shouting her name across the yard. He'd only been here for a year, but even then, even then, he could remember coming here clear as day. As if it'd only been yesterday. She was there, too. Looking on the new students as she did every year; kindness sloughing off her in comforting waves. She was a mother, a sister, a mentor, and a friend, to any who needed one. Several pointing fingers snapped his attention back to the restless crowd. It was only natural for Ramune to whip his head towards the sky, following the lingering gazes until a glinting object descended from the bunched clouds. He leaned precariously backwards, craning his head up until his arms wheeled in a tight circle, balancing himself once more. A low whistle of appreciation later and Ramune abandoned his board, hopping down the stone steps like a child.
Elbowing his way through the roaring crowd, Ramune pushed a camera shutter away from his face and crooned softly, dancing away when the man extorted several choice words. His eyes darted from each confounded face until they landed on one in particular: a young man with glasses. Like the others, he seemed wholly engrossed on the figure plummeting through the skies. So, Ramune took his chance to clap the boy amiably across the back, offered him a wolfish grin and winked towards the clouds. At least there was someone who'd listen to him; for however long. “Howdy, there! I'm Ramune.” He lightly tapped his bare chest. “Holland. So, whaddya' think, so far? Mister, uh...”

Maybe it’s one of the instructors, or a .. Kennith suddenly felt a strong slap on the back and he caught his breath in surprise as his shoulders shot upward instinctually. He quickly became aware of the guy that was grinning next to him. Who... Kennith noticed his piercing and flamboyant haircut, and was taken aback for a moment as the character introduced himself. Ramune, he called himself, had quite a strange outfit and wasn’t wearing a shirt. Kennith simply stood staring at Ramune in confusion and shock as the spoke a few words to him then trailed off. Kennith stared at Ramune for a moment, mouth slightly agape. He was still stuck in the guy’s unique appearance. He had seen his share of people that dressed against the norm, but the sudden appearance of Ramune had left him momentarily stunned.
Kennith blinked, then his mind caught up with him and he overcame the shock. The guy had implied he was from Holland, asked Kennith what he thought of the event and trailed off. Apparently seeking his name. “Oh, I’m Kennith, Kennith Phillips and I’m from the United States of America.” He gave a small smile to Ramune, trying to make up for the earlier surprise. “It’s nice to meet you Ramune, from Holland.” Kennith repeated his nationality, trying to solidify the man’s identity in his mind. He must be a student or something. He seems to be comfortable with what is going on. Kennith continued. “The school seems to be quite popular, it’s a great opportunity to be a part of it. Are you a returning….” Before he could ask Ramune if he was returning student he remembered that there was something slowly descending out of the sky. “Do you know what is going on?” he asked instead, glancing back up at the descending figure.

Padmore started to hum a slight tune. It wasn't any particuluar song, just a bunch of random notes thrown together to make a seemingly unending symphoney. He was bored and he wasn't ashamed to admit that to anyone. Though that was only if the person asked. Glenn was the type of guy who didn't say things that didn't matter unless people asked him. The probleum was that people always avoided Glenn.
It's a normal thing though. Ever since Glenn, later renamed 'Beast', first came to the academy people that learned about him learned to avoid him and tell others to avoid him too. So really being alone for him was nothing new. He looked around him at all the new kids and sighed, looking down at his own uniform.
Really tasteless... he thought. Not like he was a lover of fashion but really when you wear the same boring uniform for a year or so you try to find excuses and loopholes to make it less boring, to make you stand out so you didn't sink into the pool of tan and white.
For Glenn this meant slight tears in the arms of his shirt and maybe later in the year on his trousers as well. It was normal for him and honestly people had gotten used to him being messy all the time. Suddenly the stream of people started to move as the gate opened. To this the media, who had been in standby before, reved up to full and started taking pictures here, there and everywhere. Glenn managed to miss being caught though, for the most part.
That was when he saw the flying figure, no more levitating than flying. He sighed and for the first time in a while he spoke. His voice low and slightly growly.

Re: [OOC] God-like
Dearest Bunz, it truly has! A reunion is a perfect idea, and I am always a promoter of handholding while skipping through fields of flowers. We should sing while we play flutes and other musical instruments. However we need a brigade of glitter and flower petal tossing elves to follow us around.
My character is done^-^! Ohhhh PS dearest homie Gs I will be at Disney land this weekend so I won’t be able to post (assuming we have started and it’s my turn).
Re: [OOC] God-like
Yeah, yeah. I guess I am stalking you. Shucks. And there we have it, Ramune is born. Pseudo-brother to Fanta, because I love Japanese drinks and it suits him. Lookin' forward to all of the character interaction. And I hope you were wearing a pair of those Depends like we talked about. They're reliable.
ASHBUUUUUUUUUG.
It's been ages. Let's have a reunion, missus! In the form of hand-holding and skipping, through flower fields.
This place makes me giddy.
