Outside

Obana sighed, looking up at the sky to check the position of the sun for the fifth time since he had been there that morning. He dropped his head down with a sigh, his hand moving to his neck of its own accord and fingering the necklace that hung there. His adoptive father, Marco had given this to him before... He gulped down breath of air as he remembered that night... the blood... the fire.... the evil cackle of the knight. He had said he swore revenge on the Dark God... but tha wasn't it... he had sworn revenge on the knight. His cat ears pricked up as footsteps approached.

Rixator yawned blatantly as he stretched out his arms, rubbing his wrists for a moment as he returned to the rendevouz point for his employer and whoever else will be joining them. He was happy to have work, and this job was bigger than any other he had before. As an added plus, he'd be able to seek out information about his clan, and how and why they disappeared. A sickle style blade hung from his right hip, a unique blade made specially for him hanging on the left. It was a dark colored sort of sabre, seeming to be the brainchild of a shortsword and a survival knife: the blade was very linear, the front side having a razor sharp edge, the back of the blade being quadrilateral style serrations. If it didn't cut his target normally, it tore them apart upon impalement. Adjusting his hood to ensure his face remained enshrouded in the darkness, he glanced forward.

Standing where he once stood was some sort of cat boy. He'd heard of that tribe of beast people; wiped out, from what he heard. Apparently, there was a survivor, given the looks of this boy. It stopped Rixator for a moment. But only a moment. Someone else who knew his pain, huh? He'd discuss that later. For now, he simply sat ontop of a close-by barrel, flexing his fingers as he spoke out. "So, they send a lad to work with me, huh? What can you do?" He inquired, leaning forward a bit.

Mitei slowly walked into the town with her armor on (relatively recent from history) walking next to her sister upset by what she had done. Her sister, Reiko looked over at her depressed eyes, "Its okay,you weren't in control" Reiko said sympathetically,

"Yes, but I don't think our parents forgive me..." Mitei replied sorrowfully, "I can't forgive myself..."

"At least I forgive you, you couldn't control your own body and were in a trance" Reiko said

"I still can't-" Mitei said interrupted by a man stopping her because of her armor,

"Miss may I ask where you got that..." the man asked

"Its none of your concern..." Mitei answered the man as she kept moving

"It looks like a Military armor, am I right?" the man questioned

"Please, leave me alone..." Mitei answered in irritation of the man's nosiness

"Why? Am I not allowed to ask where you got that armor?" the man asked

"Please leave us alone..." Reiko spoke up to keep her sister from killing the man

"fine fine" the man responded as he buggered off.

Reiko had turned around and Mitei was gone, she had ran off through being upset at herself and found an alleyway and leaned against the wall being upset and started to stare into the sky in search of something to get her ming off things. Within a few minutes she was interrupted by her sister just finding her and pulled her over to an inn Mitei had no money and neither did Reiko as far as she knew but soon she was in another alleyway where Rekio slapped her, "Stop brooding! Just because you committed murder on our parents you can't just keep living like this!" Reiko screamed as people passing by stopped to watch, "You had no control over yourself and couldn't do anything to stop it. Now the only relative you have left has forgiven you and I'm sure our parents have forgiven you! Grow up!"

Mitei stood there looking at Reiko and responded, "i'm... Sorry..." she spoke silently looking at Reiko, "I am sorry to have put you through that..." as Mitei said that Reiko released and looked out the alley where the people whom were just watching had walked off now that the screaming was done, Mitei walked forward next to Reiko, "Lets go..." she said in her calm self. They both went walking out to the city towards the castle.

Theda had no problem slipping on her dark blue cloak over her form fitting dark brown outfit. While most might have thought it unseemly or coldhearted that she did not wear the black garb of one in morning Theda knew the truth. Marec wasn't gone. He was just waiting, waiting for Theda to find him and bring him back. At first she had doubted whether or not he would ever return, ever smile at her again, ever kiss her forehead and tell her to lighten up a little...

But now she knew he wasn't gone. So she didn't morn, and she certainly didn't cry. Even before the doubt had lost it's hold she hadn't cried, it simply wasn't in her nature. So as she moved silently through the street, making no more sound than a surefooted tomcat, Theda wore no mourners garb. She had even added extra berry juices to make sure that her hair was a turquoise-green color, and none of it's usual black was left within it.

Theda approached the castle silently. While she could have avoided the guards and slipped in through one of the many unguarded entrances she'd already discovered she chose not to. She wasn't in the mood to make an entrance and merely stated her name and business to the guard before moving through the gate. Theda padded her way to the take off area, as sure of where she was going as if she had studied the castle blueprints, which in truth were not to hard to reach.

When she reached the take off area two other people, presumably other members of the group were already present. She made no move to introduce herself and merely stood in the shadows with her hood drawn over her face. Theda didn't bother introducing herself and merely watched the two of them interact, wondering how things would pan out.

The king, queen, Bella, and Gabe, finally reached the take-off area. The take-off area was a large place, beside the sea. Next to the take-off area is the parking area where dozens of Avory's castle's airship and waterships are parked.

From far away, they could see two people waiting. One was Obana Crow, the sole survivor of the cat-people and an apprentice of a well known assassin. The second one was Rixator, a famous, mysterious, hired mercenary.

They walked to the two. When they was near, The king looked around to see if there were anyone else and saw another in the shadows, not very far away. It was Theda Siouxsie, the volunteer. The king waved to Theda, calling her to join them.

"Is everyone ready?" The king asked everyone

Garen was walking through the city of Clearwood when he accidently tripped and fell flat on his face. As people stood there and laughed he muttered to himself, “How do humans get by without tails.” Getting up and dusting himself off he looked around to figure out where he was at. He was told to travel to Clearwood and to wait for something. He didn’t know what he was waiting for or what he should do know that he was here but if it was for the one who gifted him with a higher level of intelligence then he was willing to do almost anything. As he kept walking he paid attention to his walking in order to get a little better at it. Because he was too focused on walking he didn’t notice the until it was to late the person he ran into. "Owww," he said as the landed on his ass, "sorry about that, I was not paying attention to where I was going." Looking up he realized that it was a women dressed in military armor. Standing next to her was another women who must have been her twin sister.

Mitei stumbled back a little from the person running into her and almost fell from the root behind her, "Its not just your fault, I had not payed any attention..." Mitei responded calmly as she helped the boy up, "You okay?" she asked as she looked at Reiko whom nodded and closed her eyes checking the others vital signs via her magic, "You seem okay.." Reiko responded, "But please be careful." she smiled as she got close to Mitei, "We're still going to Avroy right?" she asked.

"Yes Reiko..." Mitei mumbled sounding annoyed.

Rixator arched a brow under the shrouding hood he wore. Was this really the party for this job? Hell, half of them were practically kids! Damnit, I'm a mercernary, not some royal babysitter!! But...A job is a job... He though to himself, opening his hand as a small funnel of dark pigmented sands swirled. "Bit of a ragtag group here, don't you think, oh captain my captain?" Rixator asked, turning his head toward the king. By all means, he meant no offense, but his people were usually a bit more open with each other; at least, his clan was. "But, who am I to judge? I'm a bit of a ragtag fellow myself. However..." Rixator got up, clenching his hand into a fist as the sand dispersed. "With the children of Venash out there, and the possibility of going to Afukira, we need what we have." He stated plainly. He so deeply desired to make a deal with the king to get access to any information on his tribe that the castle's archives had, but he held his tongue. He didn't know open these royals were to...Deals.

Inside Pruwas, there is a building. The building's walls are made of concrete and are grey in color. There seems to be no windows in the building. The front door is open and at the main hall is a counter with 2 personals. A few levels below, only people with a special key card may enter, There are some glass cylinder tank filled with floating creatures with mask and hoses in clear water. One of the tank contain a freakish looking mixed creature. Another contains a long straight white hair young girl with a hand replaced with a cyborg arm. Another contains a man with no below parts. Many more creature besides them.

In that level, inside a dark room which is only illuminated by a holographic monitor from a terminal, there is a person with goggles and mask, sawing something off a sea-kind creature on a steel table, giggling. Blood gushed out of the creature's limb and splattered on the person's face. He stopped and stood still. His breathing and heart seemed to stop and there was silence for a moment. He started with a grin, the a small laugh. Suddenly he started to screamed loudly and screamed. He stopped screaming and looked at the creature with a smile. He took out a wire and tied the limb tightly so that blood stop coming out of it.

A beep from the terminal made the person turn around to look at it. He walked to the terminal and pressed a button which made a person, brown skin with horns like a mountain goat on the side of his head, appear on the screen.

"yes?" he said to the terminal, asking

"Prince Gen, we have bad news" a voice came out of the terminal

"well what is it?" Gen said sounding a little pissed

"Somehow Mitei, one of the experiments, regained control of herself and have escaped"

Gen smiled and took of his goggles "well..." he wiped his hands and his face on the white coat he was wearing "find and capture her" Gen said calmly

Gen waved his hand multiple times which made the person on the terminal disappeared and change into a first person view of someone or something in a place that looked like a battlefield. It was the first person view of his father's demon conjuration. The place that it was guarding is under attack by a small but powerful party.

"Release experiment 9" He said to the terminal

On the battlefield, the ground started to shake, making it hard for everyone to hold their balance. Suddenly a giant glass cylinder tank rose from the ground, revealing a chimera. A mixed creature of Lion, Goat, dragon and snake. The tank glass dispersed into gas and was gone. The chimera jumped a person, biting, spilling his guts.



Gen turned around, wore his goggles, picked up a hammer, and continued his work on the Sea-kind.

The shadow of a man,walking in the frozen streets of the Morning Avory: this man was dressed,enough to be noticeable to the people around him.
The few that saw him either moved to one of the sides to let the man one pass.His way to move were slow,confident and who had a careful eye can deduct that he already walked over the cobblestone road.
He had a goal: everybody does,but the man's absence of haste suscitated suspicion.
He moved apart who blocked his path with his hand.His face was hidden by an helmet,as he walked toward directed to the Castle of the King of Avory.
He reached the peak,seeing his party: thought he never worked with someone,it was good assembling some élite for the task: Convincing a god is already an impossible task for one mortal,and if he was going to fail he preferred to fall with someone.There was something that man wished: be remembered,as a protector of homes,as an hero and murderer in the same time.

He reached the castle,recognizing his fellow companions: most of them were hooded.He recognized the princess of Avory,thanks to her clothing and her coming out from the castle.
Arkantos slowly reached the group,his body hidden by a dark red cloak. He stopped few inches and kneeled,with all the hood.
During all the procession,there could be heard metal clinking and a voice coming out from the helmet.
"Lord of Avory" Arkantos said rising."I shall respect the deal and as I will respect it you will safeguard the people of Clearwood.Until the people is safe,my blades are yours to command" The man said,and a second later he looked at the group: apart the princess he saw a man,probably her personal guardian,then he passed his eyes over a blue clock and a somewhat fusion between a man and a cat.
"For thus who doesn't know it,am the Crimson phantom.At your services" He said,emotionless.
He had to give a little speech to himself and remind the deal with the Lords of Avory.

Theda waited a few moments for the others to come forward before introducing herself. It would be less likely that they remembered her clearly if she introduced herself somewhere in the middle of the herd. Theda bowed politely to the king and the queen saying simply, "I am Theda. It's a pleasure and an honor to meet you your majesties." Theda's attention was quickly drawn away from the royal couple when she set eyes on the girl who stood next to them. She bowed deeply to the girl she presumed to be the princess. Theda smiled as warmly as possible, though these days her smiles never reached her eyes.

She said in the most lighthearted and awed tone she could muster, "It is an honor to meet you Bella, the light of Avory. I look forward to getting to know you on this journey."

“Thanks,” Garen said when he was offered a hand to get back up. “So why are you guys heading too Avory,” he said inquisitively. His curiosity was insatiable and he knew it, but to be fair he never talked to people or walked through towns, usually he was roaring and scaring some poor sheep herder that had wondered into his territory or pillaging towns, the usual dragon stuff. Stuff like talking and asking questions was a new experience for him and he couldn’t get over how interesting it was. Then there was all of the knowledge that buzzed in his head. A lot of it dated back to ancient times and had a lot to do with history and stuff. (OOC: Not my best work -.-)

Mitei glared at the boy whom heard her and Reiko talk to each other, "We're heading to Avory because..." Mitei explained before pausing, "Something happened to where we were..." she said looking at Reiko and Reiko nodding, "Because we're escaping from the Pruwas army. Whichever regiment it was..." Mitei muttered as she looked at her armor for a second, 'Yeah, this isn't going to end well...' she thought as Reiko stepped in, "So what are you doing here?" Reiko asked with a hyper tone.

((Short post is short. For my standards, I don't have too much to work with.))

In the nearby eatery, a demon-kind were watching and listening to Mitei, Reiko, and Garen, acting like a normal person. He took out his a device from his pocket and held it near his mouth.

"I've found her" he whispered to the device.



3 more demon-kind appear in the shadows of the alleyway and followed them. The demon-kind waited and waited until the three are alone. Using stealth, all the demon-kind shot lightning enchanted wires. Wires which would shock them, rendering them unconscious.

The king looked at Rixator "do not let the looks of these people fool you, Rixator. They are experts in what they do" The king said

Bella was a little surprised when Theda greeted Bella.

"oh" Bella startled "the honor is mine"

Bella then pulled Gabe and hid behind him, shy. Gabe looked at Bella behind him and saw her blushing. He then turned to look at Theda.

"I'm Gabe, Bella's personal protector" Gabe said, smiling, as he put his right hand forward for Theda to shake

The king looked at Arkantos "yes I still remember our deal, Arkantos" Some of my stronger men are in Clearwood now, holding off any attacker. If we succeed in finding the Gods and convince them to aid us, peace will be upon Daughtris once again.

"Well it seems that everyone who are supposed to be here, have arrived" He said as he looked around "Shall we go to the airship?"

A long roofless hovering vehicle drove up beside them, picking them up, and dropped them off beside a larger size airship in the parking area next to the take-off area.

The king started brief them about the airship "This is the airship you that is going to carry you on your quest. I assume, if anyone falls off, they would have their own ways to save their own lives. This airship have all the necessary things needed and an A.I for autopilot. Everyone shall have their own bedroom with built in toilet and bathroom" the king looked at everyone saying nothing for a moment then continued "The more time we spend here talking, more of Daughtris is being conquered and maybe destroyed by the battles. Board the ship when you are ready. There is still some people needed to be picked up near Clearwood. It will take a few hours to reach there"

Eclipse was at his war table, with three of his four lieutenants. Slith was a lizard-man who had ran after killing his tribe’s living idol, a sand wyvern with only with his Ki and then eating it, his shadow armor took the shape of a half dragon. Bozok had been an elite dwarf knight, of the order of the stone father, until he stole the holy weapon of the stone father, the hammer, mountain-shatter, his shadow armor had took the form of his old armor; but was Bozok’s burning and pillaging towns ,so he wasn’t here to give his report. His twin dark celestial servants Solos and Lunos, had joined him because he had cast a spell that bound them to him as long as his soul roam Daughtris, the price was when his soul no longer roams Daughtris then they may do what they want to him, their armor gave them the look of arch-celestials six wings as black as knight and their swords burning with black flames. They were equal in strength to any mortal, the thing that made them so hard to kill were that their physical forms could only be destroyed by weapons blessed by gods or dragon magic. Though after they were destroyed all they had to do was return to him and sacrifice a pure soul to regain their bodies.

All three had reports for him, and he listened as he sipped his wine laced with essence of innocence, expensive but it made the wine taste perfect, Slith had just come back from capturing prisoners, he had left with a hundred shadow knights and came back with ninety five of them, plus food to last another three months, sixty able body’s, the five bodies of his knight s and corpses of twenty villager’s would bulk up the numbers of his undead, enough children and toddlers to make a gallon of essence of innocence if he could find a whole unicorn. Solos and Lunos had taken about two hundred and fifty of his knights and had scouted west along the coast line, finding a perfect jump off point for the crossing the sea to get to demotin, they had run into some servants of one of his siblings, but if he lost one hundred knights then he just gained them back as undead plus all the corpses that can be carried back to him. His plans were working well the only one of his siblings he hadn’t heard about was Gen he was going to be a pain sooner or later.

“What’s this,” Garen said as a wire attached to his wrist. There was a few seconds as everyone looked at it before there was a hum. Next thing everyone knew electricity was traveling down the wire shocking Garen. He went rigged for a second as the electricity locked up his muscles, then giving a yank he freed himself, “What the hell, that really hurts you know,” he said with a growl at the demon-kind. Picking up the wire, this time the effects not as bad, he started pulling in the demon-kind, “shock me will you,” he muttered as his eyes turned a dark grey like storm clouds.

The demon-kind jumped forward as Garen pulled his wires. The demon-kind landed on his feet, in front of Garen . Seeing Garen's eyes turning dark grey, the Demon-kind focused his Ki to his feet, flipped kick fast, aiming at Garen's face. A kick intended to crush.

As the demon jumped in front of him Garen got a good look at the ugly. Then the demon tried to flip kick him. Putting up his arms as a shield he skidded a few feet back from the force of the attack. Shaking both his arms from the jar they received from the kick he let out a low growl. “Concentrate,” he said to himself. Then one of the arms changed and was replaced with a dragon’s claw, “yes I did it.” Grinning he jumped forward and aimed a punch with the arm for the demons stomach. “

The (handsome) demon-kind tried to evade the attack by jumping back but was not fast enough. In mid air, the punch made contact with the demon-kind stomach and was thrown back to the wall of the Alleyway. The wall crumbled. He kneels on one knee in the rubble, looking at Garen while one of his hand reaching for an enchanted katana from his back.

Mitei noticed the wires going towards her, "Reiko get back!" she yelped as the wires barley missed her (by about one nanometer) Mitei looked at the demon and focused, 'I got to hit him...' she thought as she knew her spell was ready, "Lightning come down!" she yelled as a bolt of lightning went straight for the demon attacking Garen.

Arkantos looked at Gabe,introducing himself."My pleasure..." Arkantos said,soul less.
Then,as the king announced about a vehicle,a hulking flying fortress shadowed the area below.
Arkantos looked above: his movements were slow,expressing nothing.He was surprised: he never believed that technology could arrive till this point.
They were going to land in the Clearwoods,to grab few allies during the road.
Arkantos said nothing but:"Shall we,gentlemen and Ladies?" Arkantos said,while the winds produced by the engines moved his crimson mantle,showing his body covered in a metal armor.
Arkantos looked at a stair,falling from the skies and arriving down at their feet.
"It's the time...it can be a one way ticket...for my parents and Clearwood my life is nothing" Arkantos never considerated death as an option,if he was going to,he won't be the only one: Coinvincing the gods is the only way to stop the ruthless sons of Venash and save Clearwood and his family.
Arkantos grabbed the stars and climbed on the Colossal flying object.
Duty is duty: aslong as the king safeguards Clearwood,he shall fight for their cause.
Arrived at the top,Arkantos didn't turned to watch below: it could cause some problems: he focused on the interior and started to walk around the ship.
The King mentioned about private cabins with bathrooms.

Theda Shook Gabes hand politely, "It's a pleasure to meet you Gabe. Your very brave, to take on such a task where any harm that befalls the princess rests on your shoulders." Theda's standard joking smile shone out from her face, though it didn't reach her eyes. It hadn't for a long time. Before she could continue her conversation with Gabe the king took them to the giant airship.

"Mother F-" Theda paused, remembering the company she was in, "anther, sister, brother." She said in an attempt to cover up her blunder. Theda gave a polite cough and and shrugged in an what-can-you-do sort of way.

She scowled at the airship. It had been bad enough getting into the roofless one, but now this? Theda didn't like technology, she didn't trust technology, and truth be told she'd have been much happier walking. How could she know for sure that it wouldn't collapse beneath her feet? It wasn't like she could look at the inner workings and determine wether or not it would function! It was all a senseless jumble of buttons and wires. Theda's personnal nickname for technology was "the demon magic." So while Arkantos boarded the ship Theda hung back to see if it would collapse when he walked on it.

One of the demon-kind instantly jumped on top of his ally which was kneeling, drew his katana up, forcing the lightning attack to move to the katana and miss it's target. The sound of thunder from the lighting attack was loud, attracting curious people.

There were a total of 4 demon-kind. 1 was still in the eatery. Slowly he got up and sneaked behind Reiko. He grabbed Reiko's arm with his left hand and placed a katana near her neck with his right hand.

"Hei!" she called to Mitei "Surrender yourselves or you shall see your sister dead"
