         An eerie presence suddenly appeared as the doors to the Phantom Lord's Guild were opened. The source of such was a woman that had the features of a perfectly made doll. Upon her right cheek was the mark of the guild, she had pledged loyalty to. Although, it seemed more of a tear since it was directly beneath her eye. However, it is not advisable to underestimate her due to looking outwardly of so delicate and gentle. She is after all a Rank S and is known to wield the most dangerous and rarest of magic of all. Although, she does not openly use her Forbidden Arts unless the situation calls for it. Instead, she often uses her own element of water in missions that she had been receiving on a day to day basis.Thus, only a selected few knows that she hold such great magical abilities and one of those individuals was the Guild Leader in now in front of her.

She simply gave a curt nod as a piece of paper was handed by her. It was the report and success of her S-Class mission. The said mission was mainly about eradicating an ancient monster that had been said to plague the nearby villages in its dwelling for several of eons. It was only until now that the menace had been slain. She would admit it was a tedious and hard battle. It made her much more aware of her weakness when in battle. The Guild Master looked at her with approval knowing she was one of the Guild's finest and also the most bizarre of them in terms of personality. Giving her the just rewards the completion, he trusted her with another mission to be done. It seemed, she had no time for a break. It was being more hectic nowadays. She wondered if this would be an omen for a bad thing. In any case, she read the details of the new mission and cannot help but be amused of it.

"Leader. Isn't one person enough for this? You have already sent one."

The said leader released a heavy sigh and gazed at the young maiden in front of him who was called, Nimue. He knew that she would ask about the danger of the mission. However, he did already sent someone that he had faith upon. Still, there is this lingering feeling that something chaotic would happen. He may be known as a sinister and shady person but he was not the type to abandon his subordinates. It would add to his relief if Nimue would go there herself and simply supervise. She is the type to attract unneeded attention due to her aura and appearance but she as well do not engage in battle without being told to. In addition, it would a nice change of pace for her from doing slaying jobs. He spoke all of this in a tone resembling much of a father. It was not certain why he felt so fatherly towards the so called Water Maiden. Maybe, it was due to the certain presence she emits. It was comforting yet melancholy in a sense.

"Alright, I understand. I accept the mission to accompany Miss Cyrile Skylark to the Solo Elite Guild.Let me take a few minutes to prepare my things and I will be on my way."

After saying that, she saluted the Guild Leader and went on her way towards her personal quarters. The other members that she had come across would greet her with respect and others would looked down in intimidation. She did have a certain reputation as being a cold killer when it comes to her missions. In addition, she was not also the type to idly talk or to be cheery all the time. Nimue mostly keep to herself but would not think twice in offering her help when the need arises. Arriving at her room, she packed her things which was only necessary. In reality, she really did not have much to pack since she rarely buy things. However, her attention was taken by an opened book upon her desk. It was a tale of young man journeying to save the princess. A light reading with a childish tone. It was the kind of story she appreciates very much too bad she was finished with it, Thus, She took hold of it.

"I should return this to the library first."

With that said, she exited her room and proceeded to the library. Unbeknown to her, there was a certain man wanting to know the roots of the Forbidden Magic that she possessed and kept hidden from everyone else except to the Guild Leader and the people who had suffered a horrendous end in her conjuring it. Opening the doors, she gazed at the library that had served most of the time as her escape from the reality she was bounded to. Nimue also noticed a presence of a fellow guild member as he simply gazed at him to assess. Afterwards, she began to find the right shelf to place the book she had borrowed.
