You can not easily set foot into that 'mysterious mansion' in your town.
Because if you anger its former occupant, you will not get away lightly...

Especially if there are no people there...

Kazakhstan had led the group for miles, awaiting the moment they found that stupid mansion California was blabbering about. She had to bring that up at the conference, didn't she?

The mansion was big. Bigger than any house Kazakhstan had seen before. It certainly looked sinister, with the night sky, the unrelenting rain and the lightning in the background. He turned to his small group of friends that California had dragged with her. From left to right, stood California, Argentina, Alisia (Who he had a slight crush on,) and California's sister, New Orleans. He preferred to call them by their country, rather than their real names as it showed respect on his part.

"Alright, if we're going to go into this supposedly haunted house, we'll avoid splitting up. Something tells me Orleans and Cali will freak out if we split up. Little California is scared of the dark, and being alone. So, follow me, Da?" He muttered, beckoning the group. He was the first to walk up to the door, and run his hand over the cold, wet handle. He opened the door with ease, to his own surprise. "Okay, it's open." He called back, opening the door fully and walking through. He was taken aback -to see all the lights on, and the house was fairly warm. He walked into the main room, and turned to look at his friends once they had followed him in. California exclaimed in joy when she saw the huge room. "So cool, dude!" She cried, scoping the room.

"Okay... We're in. It's a bit weird.. It's very big, so don't get lost."

Alisia followed in, keeping her fear hidden.
"It's nicely kept for being abandoned...." She muttered as she looked around. She didn't really like the vibes she was getting from this place but she had some friends around her. The only person she really knew was Kazakhstan. He was really nice though. She saw that there were stairs and immedietly knew SOMEONE would want to go to up there. Just thinking about it gave her the chills. She wished they would just walk out but she also knew no one would want to go.

she was a littel taken aback at what kazahstan said about her, " I,m not that much of a cowerd am i"?she asked herself. America had introduced her to scary movies years ago and she knew going in to an abandon hose was a big no-no, neverthe less she wallked inside motoning for callafornia to fallow.

California looked around the huge room. "Ali-Orleans-Kazzy, anyone wanna go up-" California was cut off by the sound of a plate smashing. She turned her head in Alisia's direction, and her eyes widened. "It came from over there. In that room behind well.. You, Alisia." She muttered, walking towards the room, and the noise. "I'll go check, okay? It can't be that bad. Probably the wind.. Or.. Something." She laughed nervously, Kazakhstan giving her shifty looks.

California wrapped her hand around the handle, and opened the door. Nothing yet. She walked into the room, and the door swung shut behind her. Her footsteps echoed on the tiled floor, as she walked towards the counter and the plate on the floor. She lifted the plate, and saw it was only missing one piece, but it had writing on it.

"Come to the Library. Through the kitchen and upstairs. The first right." it read. She did as it said, running through the kitchen, to some side-stairs, upstairs and into the Library. The other piece was on the floor. She picked it up, and walked towards one of the books. It was bright red with a few sparkles on it. "Oh, Shiny!" She laughed, setting the plate pieces down, and lifting the book. It made a loud noise as it left the bookcase. She heard another noise behind her, and her head jolted up. "Nikolai? Evelyn? 'Lizzy? That isn't funny. Speak if it's you..." She whispered, but was only replied with a few breaths. She turned around to see who it was, and her eyes widened in horror.

A strange, tall creature with hulking arms stood before her. It stared at her as she tried to grab her butterfly knife out of her pocket.

She didn't grab it quick enough, and the creature put its hand onto her forehead, wrapping it's fingers around her head. It lifted her off the ground, and slammed her into the bookcase, knocking it over. A girlish scream of agony filled the house, and she was hurled over the now on the floor bookcase into another one. The monster just looked at her, and approached to make the finishing blow. It slammed its fist into her stomach, and lifted her up. She was almost crying in both pain and fear, and she could tell the end was near. It hurled her down the stairs, and in a desperate effort to get away from the monster, she crawled through the hall into the kitchen. "Just a few more seconds until I'm safe.. Just.... A... few... more.." she whispered, her vision darkening, and then there was just black.

Nikolai looked up suddenly, worried for Chiki. "Hold on... was that Chiki screaming? Derʹmo! I hope she just stepped on something sharp..." He groaned, walking towards the door that she went into, behind Alisia. He opened the door slowly, and started shaking like a leaf with what he saw. Which was unusual for Russia's little brother. He stumbled backwards, his mouth wide open at what he saw. When he moved, it became visible to the others that the state of California was now lying there, in a pool and a trail of her own blood, dead.

Argentina followed behind the others, dragging his large, Spanish rapier behind him, staring at the creaking ground until they all heard a plate smash, causing him to flinch and cover his face with his sword in silence, watching California and Alisia from the corner of his eyes. "Plate smash. Fun," he murmured under his breath, setting down his sword as California walked up the stairs and into some room.

In the mean time, Argentina took glances around the walls and the house, thinking to himself, unusually mute. Gripping the handle of his rapier, he once again flinched at a scream and followed behind Nikolai in concern. As they got closer, he could tell by Nikolai's reaction that it was something bad, and as he moved away, the Spanish country could feel his whole chest swell. "Ay dios mio." The boy whispered, eyes widening.

Crouching down to the body, he ran a hand soft through her hair and sighed, obvious sadness glimmering in his blue eyes. "I suppose, the rumor's true.."

Nikolai stood still, his eyes watering, unable to comprehend what had happened. "D-Diego?" He whispered, his feet slowly moving him towards California and Argentina. The creaking of the floorboards beneath him woke him from his trance, and he broke into a run.

He ran towards the girl, taking his coat off and dropping his broadsword onto the floor. He let out a small cry of sorrow as he dropped to his knees in front of the girl. "Nyet... Not Chiki... Not her.." He cried, wrapping his coat around her, and resting her head on his knees. "Diego.. If those rumours are true.. Then we need to leave." He whispered, looking into Diego's sad eyes.

He wiped some blood off of Chiki's face, holding back all of his tears, and converting them into his anger.

A Russia-Like, purple glow surrounded his face, and he made a clacking noise with his teeth, better referred to as "KolKolKol."

Alisia jumped as the plate crashed. She didn't like that she was so easy to scare. She nodded slightly as California went to check what happened. She didn't take her eyes off of the way she went after she left. She was a bit scared and didn't want to let her guard down. Suddenly, she heard California's scream. She saw Kazakhstan run and quickly ran after him. She didn't like that sound at all. The next thing she saw was California, on the ground in her own blood. She immedietly felt tears streaming down her face as she covered her mouth to muffle a scream. She rushed in after Kazakhstan and sat down on her other side. Trying to contain her sobs, she put a hand over her eyes and closed them. The blank glare didn't suit her.
"This can't be happening..." She said quietly, fear taking over her voice.
"This must be just a bad dream.... A nightmare." She stated, shaking her head slightly while closing her eyes as if that would wake her up somehow. The feeling of death was in the air and it felt like it was just suffocating her.
