Introduction
One day the world found out that there where odd people out there. The government wanted to do tests on them but they fled to quickly. Most anyway. Some where caught. They where kept in perfected cages. Testing on them constantly. They would occasionally be stumbled upon by humans. Some where with them some where there enemies. Either way they had to move. Some humans traveled with them making up a fourth of the populations. Many had scars because these creatures had short tempers. Some call them shape shifters. Some call them werewolves. Either way they could shift into wolves at anytime they wanted. One day the older wiser ones found a spell. They could finely settle and have a final home. The spell made anyone without the gene pass right through and go to the other side. They could expand anytime they want as they grew larger. Do you choose to join them?

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 7 authors
Everything was a daze for Zak, he wasn't sure at first when he saw the girl, not sure if he was dreaming or not. She left then returned with a dead squirrel and laid it next to his muzzle it no longer mattered. Zak wolfed down the animal, slightly more alert Zak looked at the girl.
There was something, a slight sent, "No" he thought "impossible".
He needed to move to go with the girl and get to safety, he no longer cared about capture, he just didn't want to die here. He couldn't get up or crawl in wolf form, so as it no longer mattered Zak shifted.

"Oh...hi," Ryla said to the boy as he changed. "I'm Ryla. Who are?"
She reached out her hand to help the boy to his feet. "Um...do you want to head back to the Pack House? What happened? You look tired. Are you okay?" Ryla bombarded the older boy with questions, then decided to be quiet.
"I can show you the way, if you're lost," she said quietly. "I know my way back."
She waited for the boy to reply, and instead looked up at the clouds to occupy herself. She loved the clouds. They could take on different forms, too, some shaped like food, others like objects, others like-
"Ooh, look, that cloud is in the shape of a wolf!" she giggled, then blushed and looked down at her feet.
She reached out her hand to help the boy to his feet. "Um...do you want to head back to the Pack House? What happened? You look tired. Are you okay?" Ryla bombarded the older boy with questions, then decided to be quiet.
"I can show you the way, if you're lost," she said quietly. "I know my way back."

Zak listened to Ryla, one of the benefits of being blind his mother had told him was that all your other senses improved to make up for it.
Zak was blind he had been since birth, he was only able to see in his wolf form. He stood wobbling slightly on his feet, Ryla had stopped talking. He thought of a reply "Ooh, look, that cloud is in the shape of a wolf!" Ryla suddenly said then giggled. Zak smiled slightly "Hello" he began "I'm Zak, yes I would quite like you to take me to the Pack House, I collapsed because I have travelled quite a way to get here, yes I am very tired, I should be okay now you've found me and um, I can't see the cloud, I'm sorry but I'm blind, I'm sure it's very life like".
Zak hated telling people he was blind, once he said that they knew he was disabled and in peoples heads disabled people were stupid, to be taken care of, some even spoke to him in a slow or baby voice like he wasn't intelligent enough to think properly. "It's people" Zak had decided long ago "who are the idiots."

The pair walked out of the forest, finally arriving at the Pack house. "We're here!" Ryla yelled. "Guys, look, a new pack member! His name's Zak. He said he travelled a while to get here," she added. She brushed her hair back self-consciously.
Ryla turned red. "Oh, um...sorry..." she brushed down her dress. "Okay, then." She took Zak's hand and started walking back to the house. "You're going to like it," she assured him. Blair
Blair growled deeply at Scarny as she was herded away by her mate. Honestly, Blair was pumped, and wasn't really hurt that much. Just a few scrapes. But, her opponent had been taken away before she could react and fight back. And trust me, she wished she could. Then, a howl erupted in the air, followed by a few more. A lot seemed to be going on around her, because suddenly, the little girl, Ryla, brought in a newbie, who she claimed his name is Zak. THe pack beta padded over as silent as usual, her fur still fluffed out from the adrenaline pumping through her veins. She then switched forms, back into human, and ran a hand through her wavy blond hair, and blinked. As usual, she was friendly and welcoming... well almost as usual. When her little stand off with Scarny, that wasn't friendly. But hey, somebody had to stand up for what they believe in right?
"Hi Zak." she said with a smile. "I'm Blair. Pack beta." she introduced herself with her soft, and musical voice. Then, the looked at Ryla with a sincere, and genuinely friendly smile.

Liam heard the yelling and ran over to see what was going on. HE turned the corner to see Blair, Ryla and a little boy. He jugged up and shifted into his human form halfway there before they could see him. He stood back a little bit and just watched from behind a large tree. He had heard already that there was a fight between Scarny and Blair. He didn't think she would want to be around him since its his sister. Ryla surely wouldn't want to be around him she adores Scarny. The little boy was probably being told to stay away form him.
"So, Ryla's been out looking for people, hm?"
Ryla turned red. "No! I was...um...I heard him.." Ryla giggled and smiled sheepishly. She heard someone behind them. She turned around to see someone behind a tree. Liam was hesitant. He looked at Ryla then Zak then Blair. He still didn't feel welcome intruding. He just tried to hide more behind the tree. He was afraid of what Blair might say to him. Over the course of time that he had joined the pack he had gotten a lot of nasty comments from people. His self esteem had diminished. So he didn't really care much for talking to people and getting talked down at him. It just hurt so much more. His sister had tried to help but then he started acting out and ruined the relationship.
Zak heard a couple of people approach, "Hi Zak." said a warm female voice "I'm Blair. Pack beta." the other didn't speak. Zak shifted, he wanted a look at them, bad move. Once again Zak felt the crushing exhaustion but he fought it, he looked at the girl first, attractive, he barely noticed, she had wavy long blonde hair and a kindly expression on her face but under that he smelt something, adrenaline she had been fighting there was a collection of small wounds around her neck, she had probably lost. Next Zak looked at the boy Emo or Gothish in appearance more was to be found out from the boys scent, fearful and angry, with a large amount of something else, "ahh, guilt" Zak thought to himself" he ha dent smelt that emotion for a while.
He turned back to the girl "Would you mind" he said weakly "if I go have a lay down for a bit." Zak smiled then as testimony to his strength as he was ready to collapse on the spot, walked jaggedly toward a nearby building a lay down by the wall, falling instantly into contented sleep.

Blair
Blair turned and spun gracefully on her heel, spotting Liam. She gave a friendly smile and gestured for him to join them. Once again, she was just like that all around. And, she didn't like the fact that Scarny would treat her own brother like an outcast, no matter what he did. They were still family, and they should be lucky they have each other, an not take family for granted. Blair frowned at the thought. Her family was dead, so she hated when people treated each other so harshly. Yeah, her and her younger brother fought, but she regrets every second of it now that he was gone.
"C'mon mate, join the party!" she called over to Liam light heartedly.

Liam trendily took a step towards them. He watched the boy shift and trot of and lay agents the building. He walked over to them more. Still afraid of being talked down to like the rest of the pack did. He smiled at them lightly. Not giving to much so he didn't have to fear being hurt to much. "Hello." he whispered
Ryla waved Zak goodbye then turned to Liam. "You'e very quiet," she commented. "I suppose it's just shyness. I'm not shy. My Dad was but my Mum wasn't..." Ryla trailed off, the conversation of parents always felt strange, seeing as she didn't have any anymore. "We should do something," Ryla said decisively. "Like, interesting. Like a party! I love parties. They're so fun. And we could have cake! But how would we make it? I suppose we could figure out a way." She took a gasp for air after her long sentence.

Liam just stood there quietly. Both of these girls parents where gone. It was proably because of him. SO many have died and suffered because of him. For what so that he could get a girl. All of this was his fault. Blair would proably be off with her family having fun not fighting. Ryla would proably be having tons of sleepover parties with her freinds and her parents not wondering if she can lan a party. How could I have done this for a girl. He thought to himself. He got so angry that he couldn't stand being around them. Feeling there sadness. He shifted and ran off into the dark woods. While running he threw back his head and howled for as long as he could.
Rex stopped. He didn't see a single soul, so he returned back into the forest. "Sigh, where is everyone?" said Rex to himself. On the way to the forest, he saw a deer grazing. Quickly, he pounced onto the deer and bit it on the neck, it took him a few minutes to get it killed. But, eventually he got it killed. "Rest in peace," he said. He believes that once a living thing has died, its soul will continue to the Second Life. He aye the deer until he was full. Then, he turned back into human form and went to the lake.

The blondie was surprised when Liam dashed away, and she sighed, running a hand through her hair frustrated. Why couldn't he just see that everybody didn't hate him? The beta sighed and shifted forms, shaking out her silky coat. Habit whenever she shifted forms. Then creamy and copperish speckled Blair blinked her unusual blue eyes and said to the two of them, "I'm gonna go try to talk to him." she said. Although Ryla was five, Blair trusted her.
"Hey, Ry, why don't you go show Zak around? Stay around the house though." she said and nosed the girls hand. "Be back in a few minutes." she said and raced off, her small frame giving her more speed than the others. They were all bigger than her, but stronger. Other than Ryla of course. So, she located Liam by the sound of his howl, and when she pin pointed his location, Blair walked up beside him and sat down.
"Hey, Liam, are you okay?" she asked gently, her head tipping to the side slightly and she wrapped her tail around her lethal, but smaller paws.
Suddenly, she realized that the were by the lake, and saw a figure move on the other side. (Rex)

Rafe held Scarny close to him. She felt cold to his bare chest. Once he reached the spot he set up for Scarny, he set her on the blanket. He silently thanked the moon for shining down on them, and the fireflies for coming out. He presented the food out for Scarny, hoping that she liked this little moonlit picnic. He looked up to the moon and smiled, "Beautiful huh?" Rafe said. He looked at Scarny who had a confused look on her face. Rafe smiled as he looked back up to the moon and pointed, " I was just telling the moon how beautiful you were." He waited for her to respond to him.

"-and here is the B-E-S-T best place in he whole house! The kitchen!" Ryla giggled. She was showing Zak around the house - or rather dragging- she had one hand in his, and tugged him after her. She waved at the friendly face of Mrs.Prestige. "That's Liam and Scarny's Mum," Ryla explained. "Now to what's going to be your favourite place - the bedrooms!"
She showed Zak to the bedrooms. "There's mine," she said, pointing to a small room with a bed and chest of drawers squashed in. The walls were a light pink. "You can have this one!" She pointed to the one next to it. A bed and ches of drawers o match, but the walls painted white. "It's kind of boring..." Ryla pondered aloud. Scarny blushed at what he said about talking to the moon. She never got compliments. Not even before they became mates. She was always used to being picked on by her brothers. Even Liam picked on her even though he is younger. She sighed and laid back in his arms. Then she spotted the food and her stomach gave out a growl. "We wont need pups if my stomach keeps that up." She giggled to him. Then she couldn't resist temptations and reached for the food.
Liam didn't look at her. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." He told her. It wasn't coming from the sides that where mistreated. It came from the heart because he felt she was pushed here to survive and now she was getting into fights with his sister. "It was for a girl you know." He started thinking back to four years ago when he was 15. "I was trying to impress her. I knew i wasn't supposed to show anyone. Its just she was my world. I thought she would love to have me as a boyfriend if she knew what i was. She did too but someone was watching us. She was mistaken for one of us. When they told her to shift she told them she couldn't and she was eventually killed. The first to be killed. Scarny and my father tried to save her but they only got me in time. Now every time I see you guys that lost your families because of it. I see her face. I loved her and she loved me. I killed her though. and my father."

Rex went to the side of the lake. Then, he lied down, he has used up all his energy for today. Just before he dozed off, he saw two pups swimming in the lake, he thought nothing was gonna happen. So, he slowly closed his eyelids and dozed off.

Rafe smiled as he watched Scarny eat the food. He looked to all the little fireflies. He chuckled, "Do you know what my people call these?" He looked at Scarny as he held his hand to the fireflies. "Little Miracles, is what the Cherokee call them. We believe they are magical. There is a story about a young girl who was saved by these fireflies. I'm sure you don't want to hear the story though, its a bit long." He looked into his mates eyes, they glimmered in the moon light as well as did her hair, she was perfect for him. He leaned over and kissed her forehead.
