Tsunayoshi Sawada (aka Tsuna), who was the 10th boss of the Vongola family, he stated that in a few years, a new generation of the Vongola family will far surprass him and his guardians. So far none of the new generations had been able to show such progress. However, it's now time to search for the 20th boss... Will the 20th and his guardians be the ones who surpasses the 10th?
A new hitman is now in search of the 20th, and came to Japan... It really didnt take long to find him.
At the same time, another hitman is searching for another family's boss. (Also in Japan)

Their goal isnt only to bring down the Vongola family... they're planning on taking down the Dibernado family as well. With those two biggest family gone, they're planning on getting rid of every mafia family around.
Now there's only one option... and that's for the Vongola and the Dibernardo family to become allies. Of course... that's up to the new bosses.
Roles of the Guardians:
Sky- Rain, Storm, Cloud, Sun, Mist and Lightning, he influences, understands, and accepts all of them. Becomes the sky that captures and encompasses all. The sky flame is orange.
Sun- Destroying the misfortune that attacks the family with their own body. They become the sun that brightly shines upon an area. That is the purpose of the Sun Guardian. The Sun Flame is bright yellow and has the power of Activation, meaning it can provide energy and act as healing or a energy boost.
Thunder- Does not only take the lighting, but also the damage to the family, like a lightning rod. That is the role of the Thunder Guardian. The Lighting Flame is lime-green and the flames can solidify and carry properties of electricity.
Storm- Defeat the enemy with a relentless stream of attacks that never falters. Always at the center of an attack, the furious storm that never rests.
Color: red
Rain- Squaring the accounts of Battle; that settles conflicts and washes everything away.The blue color of the Rain Flame has the power of tranquillity.
Mist- Creating something from nothing and nothing from something; thus bewildering the enemy rendering the family’s true form intangible with visions of deceit. That is the role of the mist guardian. The Mist Flame has an indigo colour and the power of solidification or construction.
Cloud- The mission of the Cloud Guardian is to be the aloof drifting cloud that protects the family from an independent standpoint and whom nothing can ever bind. The Flame has a violet colour and the power, of propagation, to feed on other’s flames and expand or become stronger.

Haine blinked, where had the girl come from? He hadn't even noticed her. He'd really have to quit those drugs, they ruined his reaction speed, and left him off guard, they'd get him killed if he wasn't careful. There were days he'd have dodged that punch, and noticed this new girl quick as a flash. But his life seemed to keep getting worse and drugs took off the edge. He snorted, he knew they were bad, and were probably what made him into a head case, but he didn't care. "Called us refugees did he? That bastard I'd like to give him a lesson. And who ARE you, both of you?" Haine never bothered learning the names of the other students. After all they didn't really mean anything to him. "Oh and if you know of anyone who likes getting in a fight, point me in their direction."

Leon turned his head to look at Devin. "Huh? Oh.. uh.. noo--nothing!!!" he stuttered shoving the paper in his pocket. He rubbed the back of his head with a small nervous smile. What the hell was he supposed to say anyways? Tell them a baby popped out of nowhere telling him he was in part of the mafia. What kind of madness was that? He tilted his head when Haine also joined the little group. "Girl?" he repeated.
Well... he thought Devin was a guy.. but at the same time, thought he, or should he say she was hiding something. He watched as she stormed off after giving Haine a nice punch on the face. Leon's attention snapped back to Haine once more. "What do you mean your roof? This is school property." he said with a shrug as he got up. "You go to loosen up a bit. Fighting isnt always the answer."
Just then Misami called his name, making him jump. "Eek... dont scare me like that." he muttered. "Baby? Oh.. him.. you see, he's not--" he started to say, but she continued to speak over him. He sighed when he was told he would have extra class tomorrow and rubbed the back of his head. "Alright, thanks for telling me." he said before pulling out the paper. If he remembered, he was sure he saw these two names...

Misami jumped as another voice came from her side. The second one of the escapees, Haine. Well, that made her job easier in some aspects, but now it made responding to Leon MUCH harder. Becasue most people these days took the mafia as an urban legend, some aincent evil orginization. They didn't believe that they existed in this day and age. Misami herself had a hard time accepting that they still existed too. With the improvements in technology, it was hard to believe that they still operated.
And yet they managed.
So with all this in account, Leon had to know something. She either had to get him away from Haine, the innocent, albiet annoying bystander. Either that or she had to talk to Leon in code. Ugh, this was going to be annoying. Misami looked over at Leon and cocked her head. "What about the mafia?"

His run-ins with the actual mafia back in Italy had never been good, they'd kill and dump a kid his age on the street without a second thought."I should know." he muttered, looking down as he remembered his defeat and near death not so long ago.

Devin was watching them from a short distance away wondering what they would do next. She thought about going back to the roof, her initial reason for leaving them is because she was pissed and if she stayed that one who told her what she was which is something she despises would have end up dead. She could not afford carelessness as that could get her killed and put the Family in jeopardy, it may be small and incomplete now, but she did not want to be the reason for it to be in shambles when the other members of the Family were found.

Leon blinked, before laughing. "It's nothing. I was uh... I just happened to watch a movie on mafias and.." he trailed off, thinking he shouldnt talk anymore. "Ah, I'm going to be late. Uh, need to help out my parents." he said. He looked over at Kiyoshi, wondering when she got there but shrugged. "If you everget hungry, visit my place." he said before running off. He almost tripped down the stairs, but somehow, mananged not to. "That little kid was playing with me.. of course, not mafia.. I'm just weird." he muttered to himself. Leon bumped into Kuro, but didnt bother stopping, "Sorry!!" he yelled as he continued to run off.

"I'm back.." he said as he walked in.

Leon was washing the dishes, staring blankly down at it. He sighed, and at the same time, his hands slipped, letting the plate fall onto the floor. "Ah crap.." he muttered, as he bent down to pick them up. The only thing he ended up doing was cutting himself. "Ow!" he yelled. "Nothing's ging right today!!" His mother rused into the kitchen wondering what was up.

He didn't even think that the mafia was a myth. Well this was... unexpected. Were they BOTH mafia? That would be one hell of a coincicdence. Well, she had to chase down Leon now. Finding out more aboutLeon's association was first.
She may not have asked for this mafia job, but it was now her job to protect the twentieth. Whomever he may be.
So with her presence not needed in this conversation, she quietly slipped away from the pair that was now chatting. She ran down the stairs trying to catch up with Leon. He said that they could come by anytime, right? Well, Now was a good time as ever.
She ran out of the school in the small crowd that had been leaving school for their own after school studies. But she just ignored their looks at her of all people in their midst. She had to get into town as fast as possible. She didn't want him getting caught up in anything else... as could happen around a mafia man. Luckily, she knew where his parent's restaraunt was.

Even I wouldn't be any help against them." Haine turned and watched Misami turn to leave. "You'd better watch out, girl, if your friend Leon here gets mixed up with the mafia hes going to bring trouble. And if he gets ME mixed up in it I'll make trouble." He called after her. Turning back to Kiyoshi, he gritted his teeth and clenched his fists, looking down at the beaten and worn roof. "People think the mafia's a myth, but they're real enough, you too, stay away from that crap."
Haine was tempted to try jumping and using the tree to reach the ground faster like Devin had, but to do that safely he'd have to use his control over lightning to give himself some upward force and soften his fall, and he still wasn't sure if his power was strong enough to do that, it would take a LOT of lightning. Frowning, he walked quickly into the building, heading for the slums to go beat up some thugs and ease his temper.
"Stupid boy doesn't know where he's sticking his nose. He's going to get a lot of people killed too," he muttered.

Misami frowned slightly at her just missing Leon, but she quickly regained her composure and smiled at Leon's mother. She had to chase that boy down. It was to much of a coincidence on the day she got her Vongola ring for him to be mentioning the mafia so awkwardly. But now the problem was that she had no idea where he went. Where would a boy go at this time of day? She didn't know Leon that well, even though she was in the same class as him. Arcade? How could she read that boy's mind?

Haine walked through the alleys and hidden slums of the city, where crime was king. Heading for the closest Yakuza hideout, he was looking for some answers, and heeded some meat to find it for him. Looking at the building, the abandoned warehouse looked decrepit form the outside, but it was secretly reinforced against attack. At least, it should be, if this gang was even the slightest bit competent.
He looked for a door, and tried the handle. It was locked. "Open up this fucking door or some heads are gonna roll, shit!" Haine shouted as he stepped to the side of the door. Sure enough, he was able to brain the first thug that came through with both fists against the back of his neck. Stepping through, he stuffed his hands in his pockets and grinned. "I'm looking for information.."
"And you'll pay for it with your blood." The gang leader was tall, with a black skull bandana pulled over his head, and multiple piercings in both ears. The black leather jacket had multiple studs and chains and the leather pants were tight and expensive. "We're gonna beat your ass to a pulp."
Haine smirked. "Just try me." The hidden 4 shot duelist pistols in his sleeves slid into his hands, and he shot four of the thugs in the shoulder, arm, or leg. His aim was good, but not that good. He had to cheat a little, guiding his shots with his lightning a bit. Not that the lightning riding the bullets was visible, the electric charge was really quite small. He grabbed the gang leader's collar with his right hand. "Someone's been asking around about a mafia, and there may be mafia activity soon. Find out everything you can, and bring me the information. And your attempts to kill me will all fail." Haine pulled a nasty sneer and threw the leader to the floor as he walked out. The violence had made him feel better. He only wished he had more control and power with his lightning, guiding his shots and making a blade sharper than it should be was about all he could do right now. It might not be enough, if the mafia got involved.
He looked for a door, and tried the handle. It was locked. "Open up this fucking door or some heads are gonna roll, shit!" Haine shouted as he stepped to the side of the door. Sure enough, he was able to brain the first thug that came through with both fists against the back of his neck. Stepping through, he stuffed his hands in his pockets and grinned. "I'm looking for information.."
"And you'll pay for it with your blood." The gang leader was tall, with a black skull bandana pulled over his head, and multiple piercings in both ears. The black leather jacket had multiple studs and chains and the leather pants were tight and expensive. "We're gonna beat your ass to a pulp."
Haine smirked. "Just try me." The hidden 4 shot duelist pistols in his sleeves slid into his hands, and he shot four of the thugs in the shoulder, arm, or leg. His aim was good, but not that good. He had to cheat a little, guiding his shots with his lightning a bit. Not that the lightning riding the bullets was visible, the electric charge was really quite small. He grabbed the gang leader's collar with his right hand. "Someone's been asking around about a mafia, and there may be mafia activity soon. Find out everything you can, and bring me the information. And your attempts to kill me will all fail." Haine pulled a nasty sneer and threw the leader to the floor as he walked out. The violence had made him feel better. He only wished he had more control and power with his lightning, guiding his shots and making a blade sharper than it should be was about all he could do right now. It might not be enough, if the mafia got involved.

It was sudden. Laney had been dozing softly on the couch in the surveillance room when it happened. At first she remained in her slumber, unaware of the flashing change in surroundings. To this day she still didn't understand what sent her to this time period. Perhaps she'd been called. Perhaps she was cursed. But when the soft breeze touched her face her eyes immediately snapped open and she sat up abruptly. Pavement was under her hands, warm to the touch. Flustered as she found herself lying in the middle of a street, the blonde stood and examined her surroundings. It was oddly familiar but so different, and she couldn't put her finger on if she'd been here before.
"Is this an illusion?" she wondered quietly to herself as she turned. The screech of tires caught her off guard, as did the smash of metal into her abdomen. Laney released a paralyzed shout and toppled backwards. The maroon car that had crashed into her screamed to a stop just as her legs disappeared underneath. Breathing rather harshly, she scrambled out from under the car and staggered to her feet.

It had Yakuza written all over it, she had been lucky enough to mostly stay out of areas like that, she lived in a good neighborhood, so this came as a mild...shock.
But what she saw next made her take an automatic step back to a tree farther away from the scene, trying extremely hard not to panic...or scream, what the hell was he doing here?
All she could do was stand there after a while, she didn't even know if she could get back to her house from there, she didn't really know where she was...

She'd obviously followed him, but he had to assume the worst, for safety's sake. "What are you doing here?" Haine frowned, gritting his teeth. He didn't lower the gun. "What happens next depends on what you say."

Kiyoshi's eyes settled on the revolver in his hand, taking a step back, "I just...wanted to talk to you." She managed, taking a step back, looking like a scared puppy or something close to the equivalent. It was a combination of Haine pulling a gun out on her and the extremely creepy area that had her totally freaked out. She had always lived in nice places, so this was practically a nightmare scene for her.

Haine groaned. People these days. Lowering the gun, he said. "Alright, fine, but not here, definitely not here." Turning, he beckoned for her to follow. "Come on then, and for future reference. Don't EVER sneak up on me again. And in case you feel like arguing, in this case, the definition of sneaking up on me is whatever I say it is." He flashed her a glare. He was mad that she'd followed him here, and wondered whether she knew what'd gone on inside the Yakuza hideout. She obviously was unused to dangerous places, and was looking to him for some form of guidance. Unexpectedly, he grinned. "Now come on, unless you want one that thug on the ground over there to wake up before we go."
Turning, he led her out of the slums. 'Why in hell, did she follow me? Doesn't she know better?' Sighing, he opened the door of his apartment complex, and took her up the stairs to the roof. Sitting down, he faced her. "You wanted to talk to me? Go ahead."

Haine grinned, it reminded him how good it felt to let his anger out on people. "I needed something, so I commissioned some meat to find it for me. Simple really. They even offered to do it for free. But I'm too nice, after all I had to pay them somehow. So I did. After all, if you don't remind people like them who's in charge they start to think that they could get rid of you. And then where would you be?" Technically, he was telling the truth, maybe not exactly, and there were different ways it could be understood. But that wasn't his problem. "What made you want to follow me?"

"Hmm... lets see.. he'll either be home, or the park..." Leon's mother answered tapping her chin. "OH!!" she yelled out of nowhere. "He can be at the shooting range too." she asid smiling.

"Um...I don't really know." She confessed quietly. "Perhaps it was just because I was curious?" Kiyoshi wondered aloud, tilting her head to the side a little, then brushing ink black hair behind her ear.

alright.. A.C I do agree your posts should be longer. maybe describe how your character's feeling, or thinking. Also, you could let your character interact more. you're always welcomes to make NPCs. Have them bump into someone or something xp

If you saw, they all get smashed into walls, throw into the air, etc and they survive. Using a tree to get down will work in this case. but as chris said, I dont want to argue about this so moving on...

I'm studying physics too. I just took the best case senario at the school was two stories high, and that the jumping character was approximately 100 lbs. Then used GPE to figure the energy of hitting the ground, convereted to Kinetic energy to get velocity. (I got around 7 m/s) From that figure, I worked into Newtons and then estimated using my own foot (Which is rather large and would fit into best case senario) and got Newtons/mm2. Then converted to PSI and researched how much PSI it would take to break various bones. (Which in this senario would break your feet)
Then I researched a bit into oter falls that have been survived and approximately how fast you would have to be going to guarentee death or serious injury, and that is what I got.

I see your point, and it is completely understandable, everyone wants to know more about the characters involved and that is where development comes in, every post isn't supposed to tell you something brand new about the character. when you take your time with a character i think you get so much more out of it.
btw, kind of off topic, but how exactly did you do the physics of that, we don't know the distance from the roof to the tree, we don't know how high the school is or the tree. we kind of know the build of the jumper, but I don't think we know the force of gravity on the jumper.
