His eyes occasionally glow red when he is angry, detects hostility, or is extremely annoyed.

He has a pet Ferret named Scout, and an Owl named Windfury.

Notably Physical Traits include the fact that he is shorter then most boys his age, and some girls. He also has a dragon shaped birthmark on his right arm that runs along the edge of his back and....well the tail reaches his right leg. And then there is this unique trait of the DeBells.

What Lies Within...

He hates bullies, people who pick on him, and anything gross. What he likes is friends who are dependable, and who will stand up for each other. He also likes Quiddich, and is especially interested in the Magical Beasts class as well as Transfiguration.

One of the more influential things about him is his families bloodline. For centuries, the DeBells have usually home schooled their children, one of the few families who do. There is a reason for that. The DeBells are Metamorphmagus, Shape Shifters who may take multiple forms. Unlike most metamorphmagus, they cannot turn into other humanoid forms, but can fully turn into any animal form they can. It is unaware how, but there are only certain forms that a DeBell can turn into, and it changes for each DeBell, with the only consistent being a wolf form. Joshua, at this point, only knows of four forms he can turn into. A Raven, a wolf, a ferret, and a Drake.

HIs family bloodline is part curse as well as part gift. He cannot always control it, and the side affects can be...annoying. For one thing, it is more like a Werewolf then an Animagus, because in his bloodline clothes do not retain for the morph, which makes Joshua hesitant to morph around other people. Additionally, the bloodline demands that each one of them morphs frequently, though how frequently changes from person to person, or they will suffer dehabilitating pain. Joshua can go an entire day without morphing, but for every second longer it brings him more pain and more agony. Its best he morphs at least twice a day, according to his parents. He can maintain a morphed form indefinitely. During a full moon, the DeBell bloodline have to morph at least twice if not more that night. As far as people know, its believed their bloodline stems from a time that a Metamorphmagus had children with a Werewolf, which resulted in their unique bloodline.

So that is the big special trait involving the DeBell family. He is afraid of people taking advantage of him, trying to use his bloodline trait to embarass him, and spiders. He hates spiders, and will freak out around them.

What makes him the most upset though is that none of his family has ever really stepped up for him though. So he is hoping that being around other children, at Hogwarts, will be much better for him.
