Lilly leaned against the wall outside the Great hall waiting for Jake. She nibbled on the bagel she grabbed before waiting for her brother. She looked down at the watch on her wrist for the 6th time in a minute. She started to think about the letter from her father, then how she forgot to write to her grandparents after she promised her self she would do it before breakfast. She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard footsteps running towards her.

"Finally," she complained handing him a bagel, "Only 5 minutes later, that's a new record Jakob."

"Thanks for reminding me Lillian." He responded. He shoved his bagel in his mouth and stared to fix his uniform, which he clearly rushed to put on. The siblings walked in silence, finishing breakfast on their way to Care for Magical Creatures.

"You aren't going to listen, are you?" She asked breaking the silence between them.

"Why would I? This is me we are talking about here. Did you write to grand-mère and grand-père yet?" He asked.(grandmother and grandfather) She raised her eyebrows.

The teacher, Hagrid, briefly explained what they were going to be learning and then started to talk about wolfbears."Now, an important thing to know is that they are not inherently hostile. Mostly. If it begins to growl, it means that for whatever reason, maybe your smell, maybe you looked at it funny, maybe you are close to its nest, but you should start backing away if not full on running. If it nods, it means it has no intention of attacking you. If it bows, which by the way, it never does except for rare exceptions, it means it acceptsyou as its greater. Wolfbears have an unusually high amount of intelligence. So, who wants to approach it first? How about you, Joshua?"

Lilly watched as he walked towards the woofers. It growled at him and returned the gesture. The wolfbear then bowed and Joshua walked back to the group, as Hagrid asked who would like to go next. She gave Jake a light shove forward.

~Jakob~
Jake didn't expect to wake up late on the first day of school, but he did despite his best nonexistent efforts. He quickly throw on his uniform, grabbed his bag and started a mad dash to the Great hall, where he was supposed to meet his sister 4 minutes ago.

He watched Joshua walk up to the wolfbear, which growled at him. He growled back and it bowed. He walked back and Hagrid asked who would go next. Lilly lightly shoved him, making him the volunteer.

He followed Joshua did before him. The wolfbear growled at him as he walk up. It took all he had to not scream and run away. He knew that Lilly was smirking behind him, he knew her too well. He growled back and the wolbear bowed. He walked back to his place next to his sister, relieved that it was over and he didn't die.

"What a great way to start the morning, don't you think Bruder liebste?" (Brother dearest)She smiles twirling her pinkish hair around her finger.

"Yes, just the best." He takes a smiles, looking overly happy.
