Introduction

Hunter's Destiny.

Meet Krisiana Marie Anderson. She's your average 18 year old. She goes to school, has friends, and offten dosen't pay much attention to what her parents say. But on the night of her 18th birthday, which just so happens to be Halloween Night, everythings about to change. It all started just before school, when her grandmother, Mariana, gave her a beautiful ruby pendent. But what her grandmother failed to mention, was that the meaning behind the necklace. You see, this necklace had been entrusted to Mariana, to hold until Krisiana turned 18, the age she would come into her birthright.(More will be explained on this.) But Mariana decided it'd be best not to ruin her grand-daughters exciting day, and decided to wait until later to explain everything. Krisiana, completely obvlivous to what was happening, and also completely excited about finally being 18, and the beautiful necklace her grandma gave her, Krisiana rushed off to school to meet up with her best friend, expecting to have just another boring day at school.

Her day went normal enough that is untill, the new student walked into her homeroom class. The new boy was tall, and had a hit of mystery to him, but the way he looked at Krissy caused a chill to run up her spine. He didn't even seem to be looking at her, but rather right through her. Krissy's hand went to the small rubby, gripping it tightly as she tried to shake off the feeling of dread that settled into her. This guy just gave her the creeps. As soon as her class was over, Krisana all but ran from the room, desperate to put some distance between the new guy and herself.

The day passed quickly, Krisiana only seeing the new guy once, and each time he left her with a feeling a dread, though she quickly shook it off. On the short walk home, she frowned a bit, notcicing that it had gotten darker then it should have been. Hearing a twig snap somewhere off to her left, Krisiana froze, her wide gaze darting around quickly. Fear slowly began to cripple her, making it nearly impossible to move. It was then she saw him, or rather it. She couldn't really be sure what it was. But it was huge, and very scary looking. She heard it's growl as it advanced upon her, followed by what sounded like something heavy being dragged upon the ground.

The creature stopped several feet away from Krisiana, sniffed the air, then turned it's blood red gaze to her. Lifting a large axe, the thing it had been dragging, it slowly advanced on Krisiana, who was currently frozen to her spot, fear crippling her. She watched in horror as the thing lifted a large axe, prepared to split her in half. Squeezing her eyes shut she only prayed it would be painless, though before she could register what was going on, she'd been tackled out of the way, just as the axe slammed into the ground where she'd been standing. Blinking a bit disoriented, she looked up to see the new student, but he looked diffrent. He looked, if it was even possibly, deadly. "You okay?" He asked quickly, but didn't wait for her to reply. Within secconds he was fighting off what reminded Krisana of a giant very ugly bear. Slowly sitting up, she watched as he killed the bear thing, using it's own weapon against it. He tossed the large axe to the ground, a look of disgust playing out on his features."Damn...Looks like they know.." He mumbled to himself before looking to Krisiana. "You shouldn't be out after dark. It's not safe." "What...what the hell was that?!" "Well...That was a demon.." He sighed a bit, before dropping to take a seat next to Krisiana in the grass. "I was hoping I wouldn't have to explain things like this...But looks like I have no choice. You're a demon Hunter Krisiana. I'm you're protector. Deal with it." He stated simply, almost coldy.

No only does Krisiana have to deal with her final year of highschool, but now she must deal with the fact that she's destined to be a demon hunter. Her protectors a bit of an asshole, and she's failing math. Not to mention she has to figure out who she's going to the halloween dance with...What else could possibly go wrong?

(If anythings confusing, just Pm mee and I can clear things up. This is a re-make of an old Rp I did, but it died. I hope this one dosen't! :D)

You're a Demon Hunter Krisiana. I'm your protector. Deal with it. Krisiana heard the words but she couldn't bring herself to believe them. Who would really? Being told by some random person that just slowed up out of the blue that you were a demon hunter? It was insanity! At least to Krisiana it was. Shaking her head a few times, Krisiana turned her gaze to the dead thing that lay just a few feet from her before looking back to the new guy. "I...You're crazy. This is all some crazy dream and I'm gonna wake up...Right.." She ended her mini rant lamely, staring at the ground infront of her now. So many emotions were running through Krisiana at the time, so many diffrent thoughts circled the pink haired girls mind, but one thought stood out clearly. Call Vee! "I...I have to go." She mumbled to herself, while standing up.

Krisiana swayed just a bit, her entire body feeling shakey. Her vision rolled for a few moments, before finally settling down enough for her to begin walking. One foot infront of the other, that's it Kris..Just keep walking.. She told herself, while she pulled out her black and green android. Shaking her head a few times, she scrolled through her conatcts before coming to Vee's name. She quickly typed out a text, while still trying to make sense of the whole situation, almost completely forgetting about the guy that had saved her. Vee! Emergency, meet me at the coffee shop ASAP! -Kris Once she was done with the text she sent it, slipping her phone back into her back pocket. Without a glance back at the male, Krisiana broke into a run heading straight for the meeting place to await her bestfriend.

Samantha was watching them the whole time. As Krisiana was walking home, she conjured up the demon to attack her, knowing that her protector would show up any minute. Carefully though, Samantha stayed sure to not be seen, she obviously didn't want to blow her cover. As her and her protector battled the dark, furry creature, Samantha sat leisurely in a tree, near the path Krisiana was walking home on. She watched as she found out the gruesome truth of her destiny, what she was meant to be. Samantha's plan worked out perfectly, she was dying for Krisiana to learn a little bit of the truth, this whole normal school girl routine was a bit boring. Everyday, Samantha watched Krisiana, bored to death of the average teenage girl's problems. But now, she had an incentive. She could actually begin plotting to whisk her away, and take her to her lord. Oh he'd be so pleased with her.

Krisiana then took off, after pulling out her phone and sending a message. Where was this one heading to? Samantha jumped from the tree, 7 feet high. Most likely would have hurt for the normal, average human, but with powers like hers, anything was possible. Now how was she going to follow her without being seen? Shape-shifting. Samantha forced her body to morph into a cat, the form she often used. She felt energy, and power ball up inside of her, as the transformation from human to cat took place. Her skin no longer smooth, but furry and soft. Her arms and legs, shrinking to cat like paws. She sprouted a tail, thick and fluffy. Finally, she shrunk down to the ground, the size of an average house cat. Her cat form had white fur, and slight purple streaks lining her. Gracefully trotting on the opposite side of the road, behind bushes, Samantha followed Krisiana to wherever she was going. Just another normal day in the life of a demon.

Vee slowly pulled up into the driveway of her home after getting back from the store. The radio pumped out Avril Lavigne and she sang with it obnoxiously. She turned the radio down and checked her phone, "Kristiana still didn't call me? Unusual, maybe she finally took my advice and found herself a man." She smiled at the thought and kicked the door of her truck open and hopped out.
She fished her purple camera out of her bag and took a quick picture of her with her baby, then tucked it back in and went on her way to the house she shared with her older sister and her sister's baby son. Vee inserted her key in the door and knocked her hip against the door to open it. "Court, I'm home!" She called to her older sister, Courtney, who poked her head around the corner to warn her to be quiet.
"Shh, Vee!" She hissed, "Spencer is sleeping."
She stuck her tongue out, "you're too young to have a kid."
Her sister rolled her eyes and went back to her college studies. Vee threw her bag onto the couch and went to the kitchen to search for food.
Her Kin phone buzzed in her sweatshirt pocket while she had her hind quarters protruding from the refrigerator and a pudding cup hanging from her mouth. She spat the cup out of her mouth and sat it down on the floor, while pulling the phone out of her pocket.
A message from Kris? A sly grin spread across her face, "that girl, texting me during a date? Naughty." She opened up the message and read it with sparkling green eyes.
Vee! Emergency, meet me at the coffee shop ASAP! -Kris
She cocked her head to the side as she read, "ooh, the date must have ended badly, poor baby." She went to the couch and picked up her back, and slung it over her shoulder.
She quickly typed a reply while jogging out to her car. "I'm going out!" Vee shouted kicking the door open. Somewhere in the house she heard Spencer begin to cry and Courtney hiss, "good riddance". I'll be right there. Do you need me to pick you up somewhere, my baby likes it when she's needed. ~V She slammed the door shut behind her and ran over to her orange Ford Raptor with black decals on the back, and hugged the side, "Oh my baby, momma's back, did'ya miss me?" She hopped in and stuck the key in the ignition.
Vee swung out of the driveway and sped to the coffee shop. She parked and stepped out, letting out a whistle, "Krissy, here girl!" She called, patting her lap while standing, "here girl! Come on Krissy!"

John followed Vee to the coffee shop. John had been watching Krisiana for a while know. He knew that if he followed someone close to her, they would lead them straight to her. His car was right behind hers as he followed her, Figuring that a young teenage girl as obnoxious as she was wouldn't even notice. Vee had lead him to a coffee shop that wasn't to far away. She parked her car and got out. John parked a few slots down from her car. He didn't get out though, instead he quietly watched her make a fool of herself. He was ready for any kind of trouble. He was packing a lot of heat in his over coat. In the trunk of his firebird he had an arsenal hidden under a fake floor. He also had weapons hidden in compartments all over the rest of the car. Taped to the front dash was an old picture from about 12 years ago. In the picture were people ranging in different ages. Almost All of them were hunters and all of them were either dead or missing.
John was standing off to the left in the picture. Another man was standing next to him. He looked similar to John, because it was his brother. Another person caught his eye, Lauwee Rathmeson. Her distinctive blue hair stuck out. She was the the only one in the picture that he knew might still be alive. John give a short sigh, he looked back and continued watching Vee.

Kaiden couldn't help but feel a smile spread across his features, as the person he was supposed to protect was already freaking out. He was crazy? No, no, neither of them were. This was all real. He opened his mouth to speak, yet she was continuing, going on about how this must be all a dream, and how she would have to wake up. An eyebrow raised, he snickered quietly. Okay, now she was crazy. This would have to be a pretty odd dream then. A lucid dream about being attacked by a demon? Though he understood her thoughts. Anyone would think that this is some sort of dream, or at least try to convince themselves of it.

He reached for a few strands of grass, picking them out, waiting for some sort of response from the girl. She would calm down eventually, figure it all out. Remember that he was sitting right by her, awaiting for her to come to her senses. Kaiden kept his gaze focused on her, ripping the grass in his hands to shreds, letting them fall to the ground near him. She seemed to be focused on something, thinking deeply. Then suddenly, she got up, saying that she had to leave. Kaiden got up to his feet as well, taking a few steps towards her.

"Hey, wait a second. You can't just run off." He tried to call her back, yet she had already began to walk away, pulling something out of her pocket. A phone. What was she doing? Calling one of her friends? At first, he wasn't too bothered by it. That was alright, if she talked to someone, then maybe she would be more content with what was happening. But...if she talked to someone...then she would tell them everything. What just happened. Demons. What she was supposed to be. Kaiden began towards her. She couldn't do that! She was supposed to keep her mouth shut.

Already though, she was running off. And he had no idea where she was going. For a brief moment, he considered following her to slow her down, but at the last moment, decided against it. If she told her friend, there was a good chance that her friend wouldn't believe her. Talking about her current....'problem', then she would feel a bit better. It was probably the best thing to do. Besides, he wasn't going anywhere. He would still be here, tomorrow, and the day after. He wasn't going anywhere soon.

Kaiden glanced down at his hand, noticing the glint of blood on his fingertips. Quickly, he wiped it down on his shirt, narrowing his eyes in slight disgust. Okay, good thing he hadn't gone near her. She probably would have freaked out if she saw his bloody hand on her shoulder. The movement of something caught his eye, and his gaze followed the movements of a small cat, probably a stray. The animal seemed to be following the girl, now far in the distance. What if her friend did believe her? The reason why he was a Protector in the first place, was to protect her. There was still demons out, she only had her little friend to be with.

Damn it, this job was too much of a worry. He really didn't want to care anymore or worry about this girl. If you asked his opinion, he really never wanted to do this. Any of it. Why didn't he tell her everything later? With a quiet sigh, Kaiden began towards the direction which Krisiana was going towards, without any hurry at all. He had to explain to her a bit more.

Karl sat upon a blood red throne, ornate and disgustingly extravagant. A red tinge blanketed the room from the many candles that lined the walls. He drummed the arm of the chair with his fingers; patience was a virtue he did not possess. He cast a glance to a large grandfather clock.
β€œWhere is that infernal messenger…” He growled, a fierce glow building in his eyes. One of the large double doors at the end of the room swung gingerly open. A small hooded figure poked a long thin nose around the edge along with a bony hand.
β€œErrr, has master eaten yet?” Came a high-pitched and very nasal voice from behind the sturdy door.
β€œEnter.” Karl ordered bluntly. The goblin-like demon shuffled in, a scroll clutched in his hand.
β€œAre you sure you want to read this?” It squeaked.
β€œHand me the scroll.” Karl said, locking his burning gaze with the whimpering messenger. The demon extended his hand, the scroll wobbling furiously as it tried to stem its fear. Karl snarled and wrenched it from the messenger’s hand, pulling him off balance and sending the little demon sprawling across the floor.

He sneered at the messenger and began opening the scroll. His eyes scanned the parchment and with each passing word the rage within him stockpiled. By the end of the message he was livid. Standing up he roared and all the candles in the room blew out. The messenger was lying prone on the floor with both his hands over his head. Karl picked him up by the scruff of his neck and with eyes aflame stared him down.
β€œI don’t care if you are just the messenger, disobey me now and I will rip your insides out and show them to you.” Karl growled. The little demon squeaked, nodded and audibly swallowed simultaneously. Karl let go of him and he collapsed onto the floor and as soon as the messenger touched the floor he gripped Karl’s tabard and began his profuse grovelling.
β€œAnything master! I hang on your every word!”
β€œQuiet!” Karl shouted, detaching himself from the demon. β€œBring me the Seer.”

The messenger left like a bolt of lightning. Soon another demon entered, very similar to the last one, but hunched over with age and wore a long hooded robe of purple. It shuffled in with a large tome tucked under one arm and a glass orb clasped in the other.
β€œYou require my services master?” It asked in a raspy dry voice.
β€œWould I have summoned you otherwise?” Karl replied, still with a hint of anger in his voice.
β€œQuite.” It said, letting go of the orb. Instead of crashing to the floor and exploding, it floated gently in mid-air. Karl drew nearer. The orb flickered into life, showing the events of the past few minutes back in the mortal realm. Karl’s anger re-ignited with a vengeance. This new amulet bearer had not died as planned, just as the message had said. However, his anger dissipated unusually quickly.
β€œI have a new plan.” He said in a clam voice, menace laden in his tone.
β€œYes master?” Said the Seer.
β€œI shall take her alive, I will bend her to my way of thinking. I shall have both the girl and the amulet.”
β€œWhat if the hunters come?”
β€œI will slay them.”
β€œWhat if she refuses?”
β€œThen I will slay all those dear to her.”
β€œAnd what if she still refuses?”
A dark grin stretched across Karl’s features. β€œThen I shall kill her.”

Krisiana heard the guy call her back, but she refused to turn around. Refused to face him again. She needed to see Vee, needed to have some sort of comfort that she knew her best friend could provide. Shaking away her thoughts, Krisiana focused on placing one foot infront of the other, on still running, and not on falling to the ground and curling up in a ball. Which she desperatly wanted to do. C'mon Kris! Snap out of it! Vee will be able to make sense of everything. She thought to herself.

After running for a good 10 minutes, Kris slowed down to a jog, before coming to a stop, a searing pain shooting up through her side. She groaned softly, trying to catch her breathe while she pressed agianst her right side. "Just great..This day sucks.." She mumbled to herself, while scowling a bit. Hearing the all too familar roar of Vee's 'Baby' or as Kris liked to call it, the monster gas guzzler. While she did in fact love the monster of a truck, she felt it was far to big for her petite friend but she never said anything. Krisiana watched as Vee pulled into a parking spot, before swinging out of the drivers seat. Once her feet touched the ground, Krisiana assumed Vee had seen her because she began babling like an insane person. Krissy, here girl! Here girl! Come on Krissy! She heard her friend yell out followed by a sharp whistle.

Krisiana froze for a moment, her baby blue eyes narrowing as she let out a quiet growl. "I'm not a damned dog Vee!" She yelled back to her friend, before breaking into a run once more. She soon leaped at her friend, her arms wrapping around the girls neck in a tight gripped hug. "Vee! You will NOT believe what's been going on." She said in a rush, not releasing her friend just yet.

John saw Krisiana approach the coffee shop. She was breathing heavily and clutching her side in pain. He was fully alert now and ready for anything. She began to approach her friend when she suddenly leapt towards Vee and embraced her in a hug. I knew I chose the right friend to follow. He thought to himself. He continued to watch intently to see if anyone was going to meet up with them. He slowly rolled down his window just enough so that he could hear what they were saying if he listened hard enough.

"I'm not a damned dog Vee!"
Vee straightened up and smiled at her friend, "I know that, sweetie, dogs make me sneeze, and you don't make me sneeze, so, this is a hunch, but I'm pretty sure you're not a-" Her sentance ended in a surprised 'ahoomph!' when Kristiana practically flung herself at her.
"Vee! You will NOT believe what's been going on."
She stood there and thought for a moment, then replied, "Hm..let me guess, you ditched calling me like you always do after school so you could go out with a guy," she paused for a second and sniffed her friend's shoulder, "who smelled like rotting meat and sour milk, and decided no matter how incredibly hot he was, it wasn't worth it if you'd have to walk around with someone who smelled so awful for the rest of your life." Vee pushed Kristiana back and held her shoulders while looking into her friend's eye with pity, "sounds terrible, darling, just terrible, but, in a situation like that, I would have done the exact same thing." She pulled her friend back into a comforting hug and patted her back.
After a bit, she, once again, pushed her friend away, "now, we should go in, people are probably starting to get the wrong ideas with us standing out here hugging each other, and I've seen a few hotties go by. We can talk about it inside over some coffee, my treat. I want to know every detail."

Samantha broke out into a swift walk, as she saw Krisiana darting to the coffee shop. What a strange girl, what was she running for? As they came to a halt at the coffee shop, Krisiana's friend from school pulled in. Ah, what was her name again? Vee. Samantha ducked under a car that was parked beside the monster of a car Vee owned. Vee and Samantha embraced in a hug, as they were talking about nothing of much importance. How was Samantha going to continue listening in, if she was in cat form? Samantha made a quick decision, and dodged behind the coffee shop, which was nothing but a dark space where two dumpsters stood, probably where the coffee shop dumped their trash. Trotting behind one of them, Samantha double checked to see if anyone was coming. Almost identical to the procedure before, Samantha began the transformation to human. She stood up, and dusted off her sweater and jeans. She went around to the front, and grabbed a table, one beside Krisiana and Vee's. It was possibly the first time Samantha has been in public as herself, but luckily there was no one from school, but the two girls. She ordered a coffee, to make it seem like she was busy. As she was listening in on the girl's conversation, Samantha looked outside to see a mysterious man sitting in his car. Channeling her demon senses, she could see farther away to get a better look at the man. Oh boy was Samantha surprised. It was none other than John Wessen, the famous demon hunter. Known in the demon community for ages, John was no one to mess with, but it didn't phase Samantha one bit, she dealt with people like John before, and disposed of them without difficulty. Samantha sipped her coffee, and contemplated what John was doing watching the young demon hunter.

Karl dismissed the Seer; he had fulfilled his use now. He sat back down on his throne and a piece of parchment floated over to him. He wrote the letters with the flame of a candle, burning them into the page.

There is a change of plan. You will no longer sit and wait around watching in the background. You must capture the girl, preferably alive, and return her to my castle. Remember, the amulet is still your priority. The demon that succeeds will be rewarded beyond their wildest imagination.
The Demon Prince, Knayvos Yuvenol-Amugaki

Karl rolled the scroll up and called for the messenger to return, who tiptoed shakily into the room.
β€œCloser.” He ordered. The messenger took a few more wobbly steps forward. Karl extended a hand and dropped the scroll with his royal seal freshly imprinted on it. As it struck the floor it multiplied seven times to make eight. The messenger bent down and collected them all, attaching them to hooks on the inside of his robe.
β€œNow, you are to hand out these scrolls. One must go to Petunia, she is already out in the field so consider that your punishment.” He said. The messenger gulped, none of the Prince’s minions liked going among humans for they could not alter their shape like the bigger demons, it would be a perilous task.
β€œThe remaining seven,” Karl continued, β€œmust go to my trusted generals. They will go and attempt to capture the girl. They will not be reprimanded should anything… unfortunate, happen to the girl. But the reward will be greater if she returns alive. Make sure to tell them that.”
β€œAs you command master!” Said the messenger and he scurried off to begin handing out the scrolls. Most of which would already be inside the castle, as the generals were not usually sent on idle tasks. He almost reached the door when Karl called to him.
"Oh, and make sure that this spreads around the lower demons too. Tell them there could be a promotion in it for them. I plan on making it as hard for her to hide as possible. The hunters cant kill us all off, especially not at the same time." Another dark grin strectched across his face. Swarm them, that'll show them the true force of the demons! He thought.

Krisiana scowled at her friends remark about dating. She knew Vee wanted her to be in a relationship, but Krisiana could never find a guy that she was actually intrested in. For long anyways. Pushing the thoughts aside for now, she frowned when Vee began to drag her into the shop going on about rotting meat and sour milk. Really where did she come up with these things? Sighing softly, Krisiana dropped into a seat near the back windows at their usuall table. Once Mark, one of the guys who worked their came by, Kris gave him a small smile. "Just a mocha frap for me Mark." She told him, before turning her gaze back to her overly hyper and boy crazy friend. "Vee..Hunny can I get you to focus!" Kris finally hissed out, leaning over the table towards her a bit. She snapped her fingers infront of Vee's face for a moment, before letting out a sigh as she leaned back in her seat.

Quickly glancing around to make sure no one was within hearing distance of them, Krisiana bit her lip. "I wasn't with a guy...Well, not how you're thinking anyway. I was walking home from school and I ran into this..Well.." With a pause, Krisiana flung herself back in her seat, her head banging lightly against the wall behind herself. "Ugh! You have no idea how hard to explain this is!...I just know you're gonna thinking I'm on crack or something when I'm done.." Krisiana's baby blue eyes welled up with tears while she turnd her gaze away from her friend, looking up towards the ceiling.

So many emotions were running through her, fear, disbelife, and plenty of anxiety. Shaking her head a bit, she wiped away at a stray tear looking back to her best friend. It'd be best just to get it all out at once. Taking a deep breath Krisiana began to explain everything to her friend. "I was attacked Vee, and not by a human. It was..This ugly bear thing. But it wasn't a bear..It was like..." She paused for a moment, searching for the right word until what the guy that had saved her's words drifted through her mind. You're a demon hunter Krisiana. Blinking for a moment she looked back to her friend, chewing on her lower lip. "It was like a demon...Anyways, then the new guy, the one that you thought was completely sexy came out of nowhere and saved me..It was werid! Then.." She looked around once more before leaning closer to her friend to whisper. "Then he told me I was a demon hunter and he was my protector.." She stopped then, watching her friend, attemtping to figure out her reaction to what she'd just been told.

John watched a strange looking cat dart behind the back of the coffee shop. I've seen that cat before. He thought to himself. A few seconds later a young woman with purple hair came out from that area. It was none other than Samantha Petunia. He had never personally crossed her before but he knew she was very dangerous. He decided to keep his gaze fixed on Krisiana as Samantha walked by to avoid attention. It was imperative that he found out what was going on. Once Samantha entered the shop John casually got out of his car. He walked towards the door and went in. He saw Samantha sitting at the table next to Krisiana's. This confirmed his thoughts, Samantha was after Krisiana. He decided to sit at a table across from there's. He had an excellent viewpoint on all three of them. John pulled out a news paper and began to "Read" it. Although his eyes never really looked at the pages. His gaze was too fixed on Samantha. If she tried anything he was ready to retaliate.

Chase looked at the outfit in the mirror of the coffee shop and sighed. He had wanted a job, and he got one alright: Working in a coffee shop. It was definitely a downgrade from his past human lives. One time he grew up into a Roman Centaurian. And now he was pouring coffee for humans. Big downgrade. But he did not mind it, the job paid for the stuff he wanted, like those knew pair of Razor headphones he had been looking at. Those would totally be worth working at any place. But he hated the uniform, it was extremely tacky. The only good thing was it showed off his lean, semi muscular body. But it did that for every other dude that worked there, but he had to smile about that point: How many ripped guys worked at a coffee shop? He didn't count any. Sure, there were some dudes that worked out, but no "Holy crap guys his bicep is bigger than my head." guys.

He pulled open the door and walked out, his long black and purple hair flowing behind him at the sudden rush of air. Under protocol, he had to wear a bandana (he found a purple one. Yay!) to keep his hair out of people's food, but he didn't mind. He got behind the counter and started doing what he had been hired for a few months ago: Making coffee. He served a few people, but then his higher up Mark yelled to him. "Hey, Chase!" Chase rushed back behind the counter to see Mark on the phone, covering the mouthpiece. "Grab the drinks for the 2 girls over there for me, will ya?" He pointed in a direction, Chase turned, and instantly knew who the girls were: Krissy and Vee. Both of them went to the same school that Chase had been attending for about 4 years now, and they both looked pretty good. Vee was one of those really cute vixen types, while Krissy was like those really hardheaded ones. He had more experience with Vee's kind over the course of human history.

He grabbed the drinks and brought them over to the table, and set them down with a little smile. "Here you go"

Thoughts were running through his mind, so many different questions and scenarios that could happen. She could tell her friend. She could be diagnosed as some crazy mental patient, which wouldn't be good, or her friend actually would believe her, and then...well, their little Demon Hunting group would kind of be out in the open. Exposed. That was the last thing he wanted, and it would all be his fault. Overall, the entire situation he was in right now, at the time, was bad. There was nothing good that would come out of this unless he got this girl to shut up about it. He would be able to calm her down, right? Kaiden briefly wondered for a moment if he was the comforting sort of person.

He chuckled quietly to himself. Absolutely not. He looked up, bringing his gaze in front of him again, searching for Krisiana's figure anywhere. It had completely disappeared, and the only thing that was there was a small coffee shop, along with a strip mall around the corner, and a few apartment building. He racked his mind, trying to rememer if he had seen anything written on her phone when he had peered over her shoulder. All he could remember were a few black words on the glowing screen.

"Meet me....shop." Then she had signed her name. Shop. That could be part of the mall around the corner, but...then again, that wouldn't be an ideal place to talk about something like this. Maybe he could take a chance at the small cafe. If not, then he was officially done for.

Kaiden sped up his pace, dashing across the street, narrowly missing a car speeding down the street. A few vehicles honked their horns at him, but he ignored them completely, stepping up to the door of the shop, and pulling it open. The smell of coffee and baked goods washed over him. There was a dull rumble of people words, all blending into other's conversations. Everything was just a blur. His eyes scanned over the various people sitting at tables, talking to friends over a cup of some warm drink and a pastry. He stepped forward a few times, weaving through a crowd of people as they moved towards the door. Crap. He was wrong, she wasn't in here. He had just wasted his time. Maybe everything would work out anyways, maybe she chickened out, and decided not to tell her friend.

He had just about given up hope when he spotted a pink head of hair in the dim lighting. He moved towards her, hardly noticing that they were already in conversation. He noticed the person at their table already yet stepped up behind Krisiana, resting his hands on the back of her seat. Kaiden didn't say a word. All he did was lean down by her ear, with a small smile playing on his lips.

"So, what have you told your little friend so far?" He questioned.

Samantha was listening in on Krisiana & Vee's conversation, when John walked in the cafe, eyeing Samantha. He could easily know who she was. In the demon community, Samantha was well known. Even though she was young compared to most of the big names, she was very powerful. Known for taken down big named demon hunters, and for doing her jobs with success, she could easily be recognized. She flashes John a look, and he was looking back at her. She'd deal with him later, not in a coffee shop like this, not now. Continuing listening to the girl's conversation, Krisiana had spilled the beans to her friend Vee. Was this good or bad? Samantha didn't know. Good, because her little friend Vee could easily be taken out the way if needed, a human wasn't much of a big deal. Bad, because now the secret was being spread. More demons could possibly be on to her now as well, which wasn't a good thing. Samantha wanted to complete this herself, she didn't want anyone interferring.

While listening in, Samantha's eyes had wandered. Her attention was taken by the extremely cute Barista. Long hair, great body, Samantha's type of guy. It wouldn't hurt to talk to him, would it? Samantha got up, and made her way to the counter. As she got closer, and closer she fealt as if she's seem him before. When she was finally there, she couldn't believe it. Slithixen, the traitor. Samantha has heard countless stories of how he betrayed the Prince himself, but he was exiled just 1,500 years short of Samantha's birth. They met once, in Rome. She was on a mission to defeat a demon hunter, which she of course did flawlessly, when they crosed paths. They had a little encounter, nothing serious, they chatted and hit it off, but obviously they weren't supposed to befriend each other. He hated demons, she hated humans, and he of course wanted to be just like them. "Hello Slithixen, long time no see."

John was was keeping a close eye on Samantha. To his surprise she got up and went over to the counter. What was she doing? She began to talk to someone behind the counter. This was beginning to get very unusual. Was there another demon in the bar? John had no choice but to presume that she was working with someone. He had to be extremely careful now. John now had keep his eyes on two groups of people. He had a very bad feeling that something big was going to happen soon.

Vee blinked a few times, trying to process what Kristiana was telling her. "Krissy, sweetie, you can't be serious? Maybe you fell and were hallucinating or something." Her usual voice, the one that sounded like she was hyped up on sugar, and obviously ready to pounce on a guy who would be passing by, had disappeared, leaving only a concerned voice, "are you sure you didn't drink anything spiked?" She tilted her head to the side and tapped on her chin, "are you on any medication?"
She perked up when the tall, dark, and shmexy new guy Kristiana had mentioned in her little demon fairy tale came up and whispered in her ear. "Krissy," she whined, "this is the guy you were seeing? No fair!"
She frowned at him, "Why choose that dishrag?" She asked, pointing at her friend, then laughed, pointing her attention back to Kristiana, "you know I'm kidding, darling, I love ya, any guy's lucky to have ya."
Then, another guy came over and put down a drink in front of her. She winked at him and ducked out of the booth, "I'll be right back, sweetheart, tell your boyfriend about your interesting day."
She jogged after the guy with the long black hair who had made his way back to the counter. Another girl was there, talking to him, Vee prayed she wasn't his girlfriend. First, Kris got Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome new guy, whose left for best friend Vee?
"Hi." She greeted the lady, then went to the guy, "my name's Vee. Call me?" She smiled and grabbed his hand, stuffing a small slip of paper into it (she always kept her number handy), then walked back to Kris and slid back to her seat.
"Have I missed anything?"

Krisiana did the best she could not to scream out in pure fear when the guy from before stooped down, and whispered agianst her ear. Turning her head quickly, she stared up at him, her eyes as wide as plates. Though her gaze was soon quickly drawn back to Vee when she started going on about something. Krissy! Her friend whined. This is the guy you were seeing? No fair! Krisiana couldn't help the look of shock and horror that washed over her features. "Wh-what?! No Vee! You're completely missing the point!" Krisiana hissed casting a glare towards her best friend. Though before she could say anything more, Vee was slipping out of the booth. I'll be right back sweetheart, tell your boyfriend about you interesting day. "He's not my boyfriend, you witch!" She yelled after her friends retreating form. With a groan Krisiana flung herself forward, her forehead smacking right into the table, and only narrowly avoiding her drink. "Eff..My...Life.." She mumbled under her breath.

Krisiana stayed like that for several moments before she heard Vee slip back into her seat. Have I missed anything? "Oh you know..Just my entire life turning to shit. But no big deal love." She replied, while slowly sitting up. A frown slid across Krissy's face as she rubbed her sore and reddened forehead. "And me attempting to cause brain damage to myself.." Sighing she shook her head a bit looking around the cafe. "I figured you wouldn't belive me Vee...I mean really..It sounds crazy even to myself." Krisiana mumbled to her friend, completely forgetting the tall guy that was standing behind her. Krisiana reached up then, her fingers closing around the ruby amulet that her grandmother gave her. "Maybe I am crazy.."

Chase noticed Vee winking at him, and he smiled politely and walked back to the counter. This was weird, why would Vee take such an interest in him? Sure, she was 'hot' as humans put it, but they have been going to the same school for at least 4 years now. Not once out of those years had she come up to him and winked, or any such flirtatious acts. Instead, she usually hit on some of the guys he hung out with, which was like a band of misfits. One of them was the singer of a garage band, the other a science wiz, and one... well, he needed to clear his head.

He went back to the counter, and noticed the dirt build up, which he would be killed for if he didn't clean that up instantly. He grabbed a spray bottle and squirted it, then used a paper towel to wipe it down. When he looked back up, a stunning lady was in front of him, and one he knew. It was Samantha. He was a little surprised to see her here, hoping she wasn't here to drag him back to the Prince. But instead, she looked at him with a timeless beauty, just like she did back at Rome: He was a high ranking Centurion and she murdered a Demon hunter, who was probably after him or her, he couldn't remember. What he did remember was how much they hit it off when they crossed paths. Everything was fine, until the topic of humans came up, and they had to part. She hated humans, probably still does, while he is still fascinated by their evolutionism. Humans look like they have evolved from cavemen, but are still the same. Emotions, Personalities, everything: They are barbarians with suits on.

Hello Slithixen, long time no see He gave her a wicked smile, like he did most women, but this one was a bit more special. "Well, well well, Samantha, time hasn't changed you much. Still the quiet bad ass beauty I remember." He teased, wiping down the counter again. "I haven't heard somebody call me by my Demon name in years..." He mumbled, almost longingly. He, in truth, missed desperately the ability to be his normal self, his inner Demon. But a choice is a choice. "I haven't seen you since-" He was cut off by, of all people, Vee. She said a quick hello to Samantha, and looked at him in her energetic cutey way. my name's Vee. Call me? To top it all off, she shoved a piece of paper into his hand and left. When she left, he opened it to find Vee's number. He wasn't sure whether he was shocked by the face she had her own number on hand or by the fact that 2 women were gawking over him. At least, one was and the other was reminiscing. Which sorta counts... He shoved it into his pocket, bemused.

Samantha looked up, as he flashed that smile she much adored, possibly one of his best features. "Well, well well, Samantha, time hasn't changed you much. Still the quiet bad ass beauty I remember.I haven't heard somebody call me by my Demon name in years...", he began. "Well, you're still the charming man I remember from Rome. How long has it been, about 100 years now? You still look as handsome as ever," said Samantha playfully. He was about to start talking again, as Vee came up and said "Hi" to her, as they have never even met. She's spoken to her before in classes, and she acts as nothing of her. Samantha shot her a look of disgust, as Vee handed him Chase her number, and said "My name's Vee. Call me?". Samantha's eyes followed the piece of paper, that he slid into his pocket. "Oh Slithixen, please don't tell me you're still obsessed with mortals. There's much bigger things out there, what you were born to do was to be a demon, not this silly charade of a human," said Samantha in a flirtatious tone. Boy did she miss him. Ever since they parted ways, she thought about him for the longest of times, but convinced herself they weren't meant to be, due to his silly obsession. But seeing him here again brought up many memories. "I'll tell you what, if you would ever like some time with someone like you, not that silly girl over there, let me know." She used her fingers to burn her number into his skin, not that it hurt him. She playfully smiled, and walked back to her table, a bit blushing. She took a seat, and saw a man. Krisiana's protector. What was this, the hangout for demons and hunters everywhere? She hoped they didn't wouldn't notice her, so she could keep on eavesdropping like she was.

Kaiden had hardly noticed the girl sitting in front of Krisiana, yet when she spoke up, he couldn't help but glace over to her.

"This is the guy you were seeing? No fair!"

He raised an eyebrow at this, amused by what the girl was thinking about the two of them. Had she even been told anything about demons and such? Had she heard Krisiana's story yet? With what she was speaking about, he couldn't be sure. Or maybe this girl was always just a mess of hyperactivity. He pulled himself away from the girl near him, letting his hands slip from the back of her chair. He didn't even have time to speak before she was off, talking to him again, then yapping back at Krisiana. He couldn't tell what half of the words coming out of her mouth even were. A wave of relief washed over him though when she disappeared, off to chase after somebody.

He turned his gaze back towards Krisiana, just in time to see the girl smacking her head into the table. He laughed softly, his amber eyes flickering with amusement. He didn't bother to say anything. Eventually, she would re-collect herself, and pull her head away from the table. Just then, the girl of pure sugar returned to her seat, now focused on her friend once more.

Kaiden turned around, grabbing an empty chair by a table, and setting it down at the edge of the table, sitting own in it. Leaning forward towards the table, he rested his arms down on the top, moving the chair a bit closer. He managed to catch her words, and then quietly shook his head.

"You're not crazy. If you were imagining all of this then...that means I was too. And I, for one, know that I am not crazy." Kaiden shrugged his shoulders, his eyes moving down towards her hand, which was gripping the stone on the necklace around her neck. He brought his attention back up to her features, noticing briefly her reddened forehead. He parted his lips to speak again, yet remembered the presence of the other girl near her, at the end of the table.

"Maybe you can get your little sugar-high friend out of here too. You're not even supposed to talk about this with other people in the first place, especially this girl." He glanced over to her briefly, his dark eyes resting on her. "She probably couldn't keep her mouth shut." A small smirk spread across his lips for a moment, before fading away completely at the sound of footsteps on the floor. On instinct, he turned his head to glance over his shoulder, but saw no one of interest nearby, so looked once again at Krisiana.

Krisiana's gaze wandered back towards the guy as he pulled a chair up sitting at the table next to her. A scowl of annoyance flickered across her features for just a moment, her grip on the amulet tightening slightly before it loosened once more. "I guess you're right.." Sighing a bit, she shook her head some her gaze drifitng to her best friend momentairly. "She dosen't believe me anyway...She thinks its some sort of medication or a hallucination.." Krisiana stated softly, her gaze still resting on her friend. "Vee..Honey I think Im gonna go for a walk. Clear my head..You might be right. Bad tea or something." Krisiana stated absent mindedly, while she easily slid out of the booth they'd been seated in. Walking around the males seated form, she leaned across the table giving her friend a quick hug before she pulled back. "I'll call you when I get home. Granma Mariana is coming in for my birthday dinner, and you just have to be there. Give your sis a hug for me."

Krisiana sighed once more, shaking a lock of pink hair out of her eyes while she slowly navigated herself around the many people in the coffee shop. As she was passing a girl with dark purple hair, Krisiana let out a quiet squeak of supprise, her gaze immediatly moving to the gem that rested agianst her throat. "What the hell.." She muttered, pulling the gem away from her skin. By now the ruby was glowing a bright red, and very hot to the touch. Krisiana hissed once more, dropping the gem from her fingers. She couldn't understand for the life of her why her necklace seemed to be on fire. Walking over towards the counter, she pulled the gem away from her neck once more, while looking up to see a familar face. "Hey Chase, do you have a rag or something back there..I think I might be allergic to this necklace, it feels like it's on fire.." She told him, giving a slightly forced smile. She'd never really talked to Chase in the past 4 years, except the occasional times they got paired up in Chemistry or English, but she thought he was a pretty nice guy.

The young man had come up behind Krisiana and whispered something in her ear. She then started talking to him for a little bit. Then her obnoxious friend showed up again. John Decided it was his time to step in. He watched krisiana give her friend a hug then walk over to the counter. "Hey Chase, do you have a rag or something back there..I think I might be allergic to this necklace, it feels like it's on fire.." he heard her say. John walked up beside her. " I can Help you with that...He held a hanker chief. On the inside of the hanker chief he had wrote in marker," GET OUT IT'S NOT SAFE HERE. He then gave her a look that said he meant business.

I can help with that.. An unfamilar voice spoke up from Krisiana's side. She blinked turning a wary gaze to him, noticing he held a clothe in his hand. "Oh..Well thanks." She said a little awakwardly, as she took it. Giving him a slight smile she turned her gaze down to the cloth, her eyes widneing just a bit at the large black words written there. GET OUT IT'S NOT SAFE HERE. Warily, Krisiana turned her gaze back to the man, slipping the cloth back into his hand as she moved back to gripping at her still very hot necklace. "Uhm..Right..Look I've had one hell of a day..Well recently just the past hour or so..I can't deal with anymore crazy right now.." She told him, while she slowly turned away, tapping the counter once, in a very distracted manner. "See ya at school Chase." She called over her shoulder, shaking her head a bit as she made her way out of the coffee shop slowly.

Once outside, Krisiana took a deep breath, trying to clear the wild thoughts that were running through her mind. "Ugh...I wonder what else this day will hold..Can it be over already.." She muttered to herself, while pulling out her phone. Checking her messages, she made sure her parents didn't call. Once that was over with, Krisiana slid the phone into her back pocket once more, before casting a glance back inside the coffee shop. "To hang around and get pelted by more random people..Or to just walk and get away..That is the question.." She murmured to herself, before coming to a descion. Turning to the right, Krisiana ventured down the street at a slow pace, her gaze on the setting sun, watching as it dipped down below the tree's.

Most recent OOC posts in Hunter's Destiny..

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

if you hadn't noticed by now, mirror dropped out a while ago ._.

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

Hi everyone, where are you guys?! I'm kinda waiting on Mirror to post, but if she doesn't within another day, I'll post to keep things going. Let's get this back on track guys! :)

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

I'm using them as semi-npcs, I added them so that the hunters had something to hunt without having the Prince die in like post 3 and there being no danger after that. I fully expect them to die so go just throw everything you have at them.

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

Derotzka, are the generals only under your control or are they free to be controlled by anyone. I don't want to take away from your power and god-mod.

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

Ach!! I feel like I've neglected my duty as GM T_T Sorry I've been away guys. As we're getting closer to the Holidays work is freaking crazy. (I work in a grocery store...People are nuts and the hours suck ass.) But I will be posting more offten now. Or at least when I'm able too. I've noticed wheezymcgee and Thadain have not posted in awhile. I will be sending them both Messages to see if they will be continuing this. (It would royally suck if they didn't though.) But thanks to everyone who has kept up with it. (:

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

I might be busy after this guys, I have to write a 50,000 word book and have it in by the end of November for English. Good thing is that if I finish I can have it published and get a copy of it. I'll try and sneak in from time to time while I'm working on it.

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

Go right ahead Hinasil, the Generals are there to be killed by any of the hunters.

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of posting lately, busy working with Homecoming, School, & Cheer! Just submitted my post, going to start posting a lot more lately! :)

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

I'm sorta just going off of what Derotzka is posting. I'm not sure if he's planing on having something happen.

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

Question for Deru and Derotzka, are you planning on doing someone with your posts or may I jump in to save the day?

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

Dammit, why is Chase so lucky and unlucky at the same damn time?! D:

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

Sure thing! :) Just send me your character sheet so I can look over it and all, kay?

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

Would it be possible if I made a second character? I was think maybe a character that is an angel or a warrior from heaven. If not thats perfectly fine.

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

Glad you posted @ Hinasil!

Annd @ Joker; The demons that look like humans may have a true form, yes. Or like Samantha, they can be able to change what they look like.

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

Quick question: Do the Demons that look like humans have a 'true form' they can turn into, or no?

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

@ Thadine: Yeah I know xD Their names are just so similar! Whatevs.
So sorry to any that thought I was being all crazy and stuff...

And I'm glad people like everybody's character! That usually makes things work soo much better in the long run :D

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

Fret not my fellow Arachnids, I have been biding my time til the right time to strike presented itself. The time I can sink my teeth into the skin of the infidels and spread my venom throughout their body-

Was I typing that here? Uhh, I'll post soon. Hehehe, yes that should cover nicely. What? Oh son of a bi-

Alright I posted. Hopefully it's good because I took like 20 mins on it.

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

Wow, sorry about the length of my last post. I tried to split it up so that you don't need to read it all, just the bits that are relevant to each person.

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

Lmao I had to read over your posts once or twice to figure out who you were talking about @ Joker.

Annd I'll send Hinasil a pm to see if they are going to post. I like the character as well and would hate to see it not be apart of this. Annnd now to work on my post. ^^

Re: [OOC] Hunter's Destiny..

Ive got several things to say:

1.lol I wasn't paying attention and i didn't know we started a second page of posts
2. I would love to have a fight with minor demons it would give John a chance to have a bigger role and to show why he's a legend
3. The character Lauwee Rathmeson Hasn't made any posts. I really like the character and i don't want to see it go away so would it be possible if someone could pick up her character?

These are just a few of my many crazy thoughts.
