Introduction
Alex was laying on the couch in the back room of the venue, throwing a hackey sack up in the air. He started singing the lyrics to I feel like dancin. He was wondering where is bandmates were when he heard someone open the door and Jack ran in with a burrito in his hand. "I JUST WANT TO..." Alex stopped throwing the hackey sack, he knew immediately what he was going to say. "Don't you dare assault that burrito, Jack Bassam Barakat." Jack looked at him and put down the burrito. "Geesh, full name? That's harsh." He laughed lightly and looked at Alex. Alex grinned and looked Jack up and down, biting his lip. Recently, Alex had been feeling differently around Jack but he couldn't figure out what exactly he was feeling. "ALEXANDER WILLIAM. Quit checking me out, dude. It's freaking me out." Alex laughed and stuck his tongue out at Jack. "What's bothering you bro?" Jack looked at Alex.

Actually, he wasn't entirely sure how he was feeling. He had this weird feeling in his stomach and his heart was beating so fast it felt like it might come out of his chest. He bit down hard on his lip, getting lost in thought. “Alexander William Gaskarth,” muttered his best friend looking at him, tapping his foot impatiently. “Er... nothing dude, I'm just tired Jackalope.” Jack grinned like an idiot when Alex used his favorite nickname. “Lex. I know something is bothering you. What's up?” He took your hand in his and squeezed it lightly. “You know you can tell me anything Lex, even if you think it's stupid. Please tell me?” Jack looked straight into Alex's eyes, as if he was trying to read what he was thinking.

"If you don't tell me, I'm going to have no choice but to assault the burrito." He grinned and raised and eyebrow at Alex before reaching down to pick up the burrito. He stared at Alex, trying to keep himself from blinking. "Lex, please." He looked at you, tapping his foot impatiently. "And you know I'll actually assault this burrito. Just tell me the truth and the burrito won't get hurt." Jack grinned, nervously running his fingers through his hair as he continued to stare at his best friend. "And besides, the tour barely ever stresses you out. Alexander William Gaskarth. You sir, are a dirty liar."

"I know your my best friend, and I trust you. Things are just eh right now. I told you, it's the tour. I'm not lying" I smiled at you nervously knowing you could see past my eyes. "And Jack, I wasn't checking you out. According to you, everyone that looks at you is checking you out." I chuckled at the end of my sentence. "One more thing... Don't harm the burrito! It didn't do anything to you." I smiled one last time before you began to speak.

Jack grinned and dropped the burrito onto the table and looked over at you. "Really, Lex? It's the tour that's bothering you?" He sat down next to you and wrapped his arms around you, rubbing your back gently. "Well, I'm here for you man. No matter what happens during this tour." He took a minute to process what you had previously said. "HEY, LEX! I DO NOT THINK THAT EVERYONE CHECKS ME OUT. And you totally looked me up and down just a minute ago so, there." He bit down on his lip, as he started to get this weird feeling in his stomach. It wasn't even a bad feeling either, it felt kind of nice, almost like having butterflies in your stomach. He shook his head, "No I can't be having this feeling because of Lex. That's just weird." He thought to himself. "If it will make you feel better, I'll let you sleep in my bunk with me tonight and we can cuddle. Just like we do when it's winter and it's too cold to bear."

I quickly turned away when I saw you began to notice."And so what if I was staring you down. I'm allowed to. You're my best friend." I then stuck my tongue out in your face.

He grinned and stuck out his tongue at you. "And you wonder why Flysik calls us gay all the time." He shook his head slowly, grinning at you. The butterflies he had felt in his stomach previously seemed to increase when Alex stared at him. He noticed you staring at him and raised and eyebrow. He was going to say something about it but, he decided against it. He looked at Alex, staring intently without fully realizing. There must've been something about what Alex was wearing today because Jack could not keep his eyes off of him. "No... I can't think my best friend is attractive that's just..." He thought to himself, biting down on his lip. "We can always cuddle now." Said Jack, a smile quickly spreading across his face. "What things are on your mind anyway? Is Lisa being obnoxious again? I can always tell her off for you, Lex. She definitely knows how to piss you off, that's for sure."

"No, I assure you Lisa's fine... I just have some thoughts." I looked at Jack for what seemed to be forever, turned into two minutes. I was noticing something in myself... Not only were my thoughts all jumbled, I began to get this weird flipping feeling in my stomach. The feeling intensified when I looked at Jack. "I can't be thinking of Jack like that, I got Lisa and everything else to worry about." I said to myself. I bit my lip as I began to speak. "Jack, I have so much on my mind... I think I'll take you up on that cuddle offer." We began to cuddle as I put my head into Jack's chest. "Jack smells so nice..." I thought to myself. The feelings intensified right there... I had this weird urge to just lean up and kiss him. "Jack, you're so warm. It feels nice." I said as I laid there some more. A lot of things lifted of my mind with you. I had this feeling of comfort around Jackalope.

"Thoughts... Like what dude?" He looked at Alex, studying his face trying to figure out what the heck he was going on about. He was almost certain that it had something to do with Lisa. How could he have been wrong? Alex is his best friend, he's supposed to be able to read him like the back of his hand. He sighed and cuddled close to Alex, wrapping his arms around his waist. The butterflies in his stomach were now going absolutely mental, to the point where it felt like they would burst out of his stomach at any given moment. He couldn't be getting this feeling because of Alex, could he? He smiled and kissed the top of Alex's head. He had this sudden urge to kiss Alex but he shrugged it off. They had kissed plenty of times before but never while they were sober. For some reason Jack always found himself making out with his best friend whenever he was the slightest bit trashed. "Lex..." He started looking down at Alex. He wanted to know if Alex was feeing strange too.

"It's nothing really. Nothing important. Little things I can't really explain..." Alex looked up to see what Jack was thinking and kissed his chin. The odd flipping feeling was back in his stomach. At this point Alex felt as he was gonna almost hurl... "Jack..." Alex began. "I'm feeling so weird lately. I don't know how to describe it though." Alex had the urge to kiss him still, and he didn't know how to deal with it. "well, Jack did just kiss me on the head... I guess I can return the favour... All he's doing is helping me!" Alex reached up with his lips and kissed Jack on the cheek. "Thanks Jack, for being there for me. You cuddle so nice." Internally Alex was just getting feelings of desire. He didn't know how to explain it though. "Man, I must have hit my head. I can't be getting feelings for Jack, he's my best friend." Alex thought. Alex sighed and rested his head once more.

"Lex... I love you." Whispered Jack but it was barely audible. "I mean... er... you know. In a best friend way..." He stammered, starting to get all flustered. He looked down at Alex as he spoke, his eyes widened when he mentioned the fact that he was feeling weird lately. Could it be the same weirdness that Jack was experiencing right now? Normally he could tell Alex he loved him without getting all flustered about it. But, today was different. He caught himself staring at Alex again and he pulled away his gaze unwillingly. He leaned down and kissed Alex's cheek, his heart starting to beat faster in his chest. He swallowed, feeling a nervous lump in his throat. What the hell was going on? "You don't have to thank me, Lex. You know that I'll always be here for you." Jack ran his fingers through Alex's hair and smiled down at him.

"I love you too Jackalope." Alex whispered back loud enough for Jack to hear. "In a best friend way of course... uh... uh" Alex stammered. He thought Jack might think he was hitting on him again, especially after the whole "I feel weird thing." Alex was feeling really weird about the whole thing again.... Alex was just about to explode at the feeling of Jack rubbing his fingers through his hair. He didn't know what to do back. All caught up in confusion and feelings Alex scream. "JACK BASSAM BARAKAT! I WANT YOU!" Alex paused... What the hell did he just say? "To be here anytime I have a problem and wanna cuddle!" added Alex quickly to throw of Jack off. He settled into Jack's chest once more about to cry. He had no idea what to do! He was thinking for sure he loved Jack. "But it can't be, I've known him for years and never felt this before. Or I don't think I have." Alex thought to himself. Has he ever felt like this about jack before...? Right now he didn't know, nor care. All he knew is that all he wanted was Jack's lips. "Jack. You're so amazing, I can't hold myself back any longer. He swiveled up and kissed Jack on the lips. He pulled himself back immediately. "Sorry jack, i don't know... I just. uh..." Alex stammered once more.

Jack grinned like an idiot when Alex called him by his favorite nickname. His heart was still beating fast in his chest. Jack raised an eyebrow when Alex screamed out that he wanted him. He quickly covered his mouth with his hand and looked at you. He moved his hand away and stared at Alex. He couldn't help himself, Alex looked so attractive right now. He wasn't sure what was causing these sudden feelings towards his best friend. He didn't think that he had ever felt like this towards Alex before. Or maybe he had and he just dismissed it because Alex was his best friend and the thought of being attracted to his best friend seemed anything but normal. He shook his head, clearing his thoughts. These feelings were strong, he knew that he was falling in love with Alex and it scared him shitless. Jack paused when Alex's lips crashed against his. This is what Jack wanted but Alex was feeling the same? He looked into Alex's eyes before kissing him passionately. "No, it's okay... I... I...." stammered Jack.

After they kissed Alex laid his head down on Jack's chest again. He could hear Jack's heart beating in his chest. He was lost in thought. "Does he want me? I mean. I love him... So much. But I think that's what best friends are for though. Maybe it's just a phase." Alex looked into Jacks big brown eyes. "They're so pretty. I could get lost in them for hours." Alex thought. Alex started to bite his lip as he felt Jack's heart going faster and faster. "I don't know Jack... I-I just..." Alex stammered. "These thoughts..." Alex sighed. "I don't know how to go on about this..." Alex sighed once more as he fit back comfortably into Jack's chest. Alex could feel his heart to the point where he thought it was gonna pop out of Jack's chest.

Jack couldn't hold himself back any longer, he wanted Alex so badly. He bit down on his lip before carefully lifting Alex's head. He crashed his lips against Alex's kissing him roughly. He ran his fingers through Alex's hair and looked into his eyes. "Lex... I-I- I can't even explain how I'm feeling right now but.... I just know that I love you... so much." He mumbled before crashing his lips against Alex's. His heart was beating so fast that Jack was starting to wonder if it was healthy. He didn't think it was possible for his heart to beat this fast. There were too many emotions for Jack to sort out at the moment. He just knew he wanted Alex and he would do anything to have him. "Tell me, Lex. Tell me what you're thinking. What you're feeling right now at this moment." He stared into Alex's beautiful eyes, getting lost in them almost immediately. What would the other guys think about this whole situation? Hell, he didn't care. He wanted Alex so badly that nothing else mattered. "Lex... please." He looked at you, studying your face. God, he's so gorgeous.

The fact I get to be around you 24-7 is amazing, if I didn't know you I didn't know where I would be." Alex smiled at you and grabbed your face once more rubbing his soft lips up against yours. Alex closed his eyes at this beautiful occurrence. He was in heaven. "Jack... jack. I love you" panted Alex as he lifted his lips off for a moment. "You're so amazing. I need more. I need more!" Alex panted once more.

It almost felt as if he was dreaming. Alex wanted him as much as he wanted Alex. Could this really be happening? He had fallen madly in love with his best friend even though he was straight. He shook his head, none of that mattered anymore all he wanted was Alex. He crashed his lips against yours and tugged on your shirt, trying to pull it off. "I love you more, Alexander William Gaskarth." He smiled staring at the beautiful boy in front of him. "You need more? Well, I'm all yours Lex. I don't know when all this started but, I know I love you more than anything else in this world... in this universe. If I ever lose you that will be the end of me. I love you so much Alex." He smiled and took your hand in his intertwining their fingers. "Lex... You're so gorgeous." He grinned, kissing you gently.

Alex thought to himself. "Is this really happening though?" Alex pondered for a moment. I mean, he had known Jack for years, it was kind of odd for him. Alex stooped thinking for a moment and rubbed his fingers through Jack's dark luscious hair. He knew once he did this, it wasn't a dream. He was in love with his straight best friend. And, he also knew he wanted more.

Alex had always been the person he turned to for everything and the only person that had ever seen him cry. The fact that Alex felt the same way he did made him so happy. Alex quickly kissed Jack as he stood up to put some clothes back on. "Close call Jackalope!" Alex said as he rushed to be presentable for sound check.

Called Jack, pretending to look around for his mom. He opened Alex's mouth and looked inside. "nope, not there." He grinned. Looking for his mom was something he and Alex had started on their annual trips to Disney. He pulled on his clothes and smiled at you. "Definitely a close call, Lex." He giggled and walked over to you and kissed you gently. "I love you Alex."

Alex sorta laughed at this. He was in love with jack, and nothing else mattered. Rian came knocking on the door. "Five minutes till sound check! Get your asses out here!" "Come on Jackalope. Let's hurry up and get out of here." Alex smiled at Jack as he still worked to get his jeans up.

He smiled and kissed you gently, rubbing you through your boxers, hoping it would help your boner go down a bit so that you could get on your jeans. Luckily, his plan worked and he tugged your jeans up and zipped them up and buttoned them. "There you go, Gaskarth." He giggled and kissed you passionately. "How do I look?" He mumbled nervously running his fingers through his hair. His heart was still beating like a drum in his chest and the butterflies in his stomach hadn't calmed down either. He was totally head over heels for his best friend and he loved it. Alex was absolutely perfect but he had never dreamed that Alex would feel the same way about him.
