Introduction
Alex was laying on the couch in the back room of the venue, throwing a hackey sack up in the air. He started singing the lyrics to I feel like dancin. He was wondering where is bandmates were when he heard someone open the door and Jack ran in with a burrito in his hand. "I JUST WANT TO..." Alex stopped throwing the hackey sack, he knew immediately what he was going to say. "Don't you dare assault that burrito, Jack Bassam Barakat." Jack looked at him and put down the burrito. "Geesh, full name? That's harsh." He laughed lightly and looked at Alex. Alex grinned and looked Jack up and down, biting his lip. Recently, Alex had been feeling differently around Jack but he couldn't figure out what exactly he was feeling. "ALEXANDER WILLIAM. Quit checking me out, dude. It's freaking me out." Alex laughed and stuck his tongue out at Jack. "What's bothering you bro?" Jack looked at Alex.
Alex bit his lip; sometimes it bothered him how easily Jack could read how he was feeling. He didn't know if he should admit what he was feeling or not. Actually, he wasn't entirely sure how he was feeling. He had this weird feeling in his stomach and his heart was beating so fast it felt like it might come out of his chest. He bit down hard on his lip, getting lost in thought. “Alexander William Gaskarth,” muttered his best friend looking at him, tapping his foot impatiently. “Er... nothing dude, I'm just tired Jackalope.” Jack grinned like an idiot when Alex used his favorite nickname. “Lex. I know something is bothering you. What's up?” He took your hand in his and squeezed it lightly. “You know you can tell me anything Lex, even if you think it's stupid. Please tell me?” Jack looked straight into Alex's eyes, as if he was trying to read what he was thinking.

"I hope so. I really do." Alex smiled. "Love you too Ri." Everyone chuckled. "Let's go back to the bus. I have no idea how things turned out there." Alex walked into the bus. When he walked in everyone was staring at him. Zack was wide-eyed. "Uh. You okay man?" Alex nodded with a "Yes." in response. "Is she gone?" Alex asked as he walked to his bunk. There was no sign of her. "Hopefully she won't return." Alex sighed. He walked up to Jack and gave him a big kiss. "I love you, don't ever forget it!"

Jack walked with Alex and RIan back to the bus and he grabbed Alex's hand squeezing it lightly. "I'm so glad that she's fucking gone." He mumbled. He smiled and kissed Alex back. "I know you do, babe. I just get worried sometimes that you're going to leave me... like everyone else has." He sighed and looked Alex in the eyes and wrapped his arms around him, pulling him close. "I love you too, Lex."

Alex was almost angry at what Jack said. he would never leave him or do anything to hurt him. "Jack, I could never leave you. Ever! I think it's ridiculous when you say stuff like that." Alex smiled and pulled Jack closer. "I don't think I could ever let someone so amazing like you go." Alex was still annoyed by his comment. "Let's go get some food. I'm starving." Alex randomly said trying to get himself less annoyed. Alex got the can of whipped cream and sprayed it directly into is mouth. "It's so fluffy" he yelled out as the white goodness went down his throat. "Want some?" he asked you as he set the bottle down on the counter.

"Don't be mad at me Lex..." He mumbled, tears immediately streaming down his face at the thought of Alex being mad at him. He buried his face into Alex's shoulder not wanting anyone else to see him cry. He moved over to the couch when Alex went to get the whipped cream. He put his head in his hands and continued to cry. Rian noticed and sat down next to Jack and wrapped his arms around him and kissed his cheek. "Way to completely ignore your upset boyfriend, Alex." said Rian, staring at Alex.

Alex stared back at Rian. "Are you fucking kidding me?" He rolled his eyes. "I love Jack, and that's why I didn't react. I didn't wanna explode in his face. His comment irritated me." Alex went back to spraying whipped cream into his mouth when this time he added chocolate syrup. Alex rushed over to Jack and looked in his eyes. "Come here, babe. I love you." He gave Jack a giant kiss to make him feel better. Alex really didn't wanna fight over something so stupid, even though it still annoyed him he let it go. "I'm still irritated, but I don't care. I'm not gonna let you go over stupid shit. One more thing, I think you're super amazing! How could anyone let you go?" Alex hugged Jack.

He wiped his eyes and kissed Alex back passionately. He sighed when Alex mentioned that he was still irritated with him. Rian moved away slightly when Alex and Jack were kissing you could tell that it weirded him out and he still had strong feelings for Jack. Jack giggled when Alex said that he was super amazing. He looked over at Rian and pulled him into a hug since he looked lonely. "Can I talk to you?" Rian whispered in his ear. Jack nodded slowly and stood up. He kissed Alex's cheek. "I'll be back babe, Rian wants to talk to me about something." He took Rian's hand and pulled him back into the bunk area. "So, what's up Ri?" He looked at him, studying his face. "I still love you... Jack." He mumbled, a worried look on his face. Jack sighed and nodded. "I figured as much but, I'm with Alex so I don't know what you want me to do. And breaking up with him is not an option since he makes me incredibly happy." Jack hoped that Alex wasn't standing just outside the doorway because if he was there was a chance that he could hear this conversation completely wrong.

Alex was walking back to his bunk to grab his phone when he heard it all. "Excuse me, Rian?" Alex said in a "I'm going to rip your face off" tone. Rian gulped. "He's mine. And I intend to keep it that way. What's wrong with Casadee? She's a pretty, loving, sweet, nice girl." Alex gave Jack a big kiss. Alex sighed, he realised he had just kinda been an insensitive ass. "Look, Ri. I love you, man. And I'm sorry. But Jack is mine. And hopefully always will be." Alex smiled. "You gotta get passed some things. Zack got passed me." Alex hugged Jack and left to go sit down on the couch.

Jack stared at Alex with his mouth wide open he was being way too harsh to Rian. Alex must've known deep down that Zack wasn't completely over him either. It must've bugged him. He kissed him back but with hardly any passion. "You didn't have to be that mean to him Alex." He mumbled. "Is it because deep down you know that Zack isn't totally over you? Is that why you took it out on Rian like that? He has every right to have his own feelings, its not like he acted on them or anything. If he had kissed me, it would have made sense to react like that but he didn't." He turned and looked at Rian. "Dude, I'm flattered and everything but I'm not interested. Besides, you have Cassadee and she's been wonderful to you. You deserve to be happy." Rian merely nodded and stared at Alex as he walked off. "I'm sorry." Jack muttered before walking off after his boyfriend. "Lex!" he called.

"I know Zack isn't completely over me. And I really did overreact. I'm sorry." Alex died a little bit inside when he realised what he did. He began to cry at how much of an ass he was. In his mind, he was worse than that! "Ugh." Alex groaned to himself. He sat there on the couch cupping his face in his hands apologising in tears. "ZACK!" he called. Zack quickly ran up. "Yes?" Zack inquired. "Are you over me?" "Yes." Zack managed. Alex could tell he was lying. "Stop lying. It's okay to be truthful." "Fine. No, not really." Zack looked up to Alex in fear. All Alex could do was hug him crying apologising. "I'm sorry." Alex uttered.

Jack bit lip as he stood there, watching his boyfriend cry. It killed him inside to see Alex cry and the tears started streaming down his face. Rian immediately appeared at his side and wrapped his arms around him and let cry. Jack held onto Rian tightly, not wanting to ever let go. Jack managed to lift his head up and look over at Alex and Zack which only made him cry harder. Maybe this is how things should be. He should be with Rian, and Alex with Zack respectively. But maybe not. Maybe this is just how it seemed that things should be. Jack didn't know what the hell he was supposed to do. He loved Alex dearly but he also felt bad for Rian. He sighed and gripped Rian's arms as he started sobbing. He felt so completely lost and confused.

Alex started to drink a bottle of Jack while sobbing. He loved Jack, and to be honest, he didn't really want Zack. He sorta felt bad for the guy, yes! But it not ever once crossed his mind that he loved him more than a bestfriend. He really wanted Jack by his side, but he didn't know how to tell him. All he could think was to sob his name. "Jack. Jack." he said through sobs. He really needed him there. Whiskey wasn't enough. He took another gulp and cried some more.

Jack looked up at the sound of his boyfriend's voice. He managed to slip out of Rian's grip and over to Alex. Jack pulled the alcohol out of his boyfriend's grasp and placed it down on the table where Rian grabbed it from almost immediately. Jack grabbed Alex's hand and pulled him back to the bunks. "We need some alone time, please." muttered Jack before closing the door. He laid down on the bunk, pulling Alex with him. He wrapped his arms around Alex and held him close. "I love you, Lex." he whispered.

Alex's crying began to let up. He came closer and snuggled with Jack. "I love you, too." Alex smiled a bit. "Thanks. I probably didn't need all that alcohol." Alex sighed as he snuggled in closer to Jack. "I'm so sleepy." Alex said as he yawned. He wasn't going to fall asleep though in case Jack had something to say, but it was so warm and cozy... Alex reached up and kissed Jack on the cheek. "God you're amazing."

Jack rubbed his boyfriend's back, trying to soothe him. "Thanks baby. So are you." He smiled and kissed Alex gently. "Awh, you're sleepy? Why don't you get some rest then?" He smiled at his gorgeous boyfriend and held him close. "I love you more." He said with a huge grin spreading across his face.

Alex fell asleep in Jack's arms. When he woke up, he was still in Jack's arms. When he got out of the bunk he heard conversation. "Dude. Get the fuck over him. He's not coming to you." Another voice came in response. "Same to you! You're all like. "Jack Jack!" 24/7. It's annoying." Alex immediately knew who it was. He walked over to them. "Look. Guys. You need to get over us. We're not going anywhere or breaking anytime soon." Rian turned red while Zack just stared at him wide-eyed. "Yeah. I heard you. Guys!" Alex groaned. "It's getting upsetting. I'm sick of it." Alex went and woke up Jack and told them what happened. "We need to talk to them together." Alex said as he walked back to Rian and Zack.

Jack woke up to Alex shaking him, he rubbed the sleep from his eyes and looked at Alex. It took him a couple of minutes to comprehend what he had said to him. Jack followed Alex over to Rian and Zack. He wasn't sure what he could say to resolve this. Obviously Zack wanted to be with Alex and Rian with him. Rian walked up to him and before he could do anything about it Rian's lips were crashing against his. Jack pulled away quickly and wiped his lips. "Rian... what the fuck?!" He said angrily. He knew this would cause Alex to go apeshit and he didn't want him to. He grabbed Alex's wrist in an attempt to hold him back from harming Rian. Zack stood there with his mouth open for a moment before he realized that this was his last chance. He moved close to Alex and kissed him roughly. Jack tried to hold himself back. He had kept Alex from harming Rian but right now Jack wanted to punch Zack in the face. He settled with slapping him and outstretched his hand but Zack moved before his hand made contact with his face.

Alex stood there still for a second before what happened registered. "Dude!" Alex screamed. That's really all he could muster. He wanted to severely injure them both. "I can't do this anymore." Alex said as he went back to his bunk. He put his face into his pillow and screamed. "I fucking hate the world! WHy is everyone doing this? Is it wrong for me to be happy?!" He screamed once more into the pillow. After screaming, a tear dropped down his cheek. He began to cry. He began to wail into the pillow. His head began to hurt and he passed out in his bunk.

"ALEX! SHIT ALEX!" called Jack as he ran after him. Jack found his boyfriend passed out in his bunk and started to panic. He leaned down to check if he was breathing. He was breathing but it definitely wasn't normally. "Shit! Alex sweetie. I'm right here. Everything is going to be okay." He whispered, running his fingers through Alex's hair. "SOMEONE CALL AN AMBULANCE!" He bellowed. "ON IT!" yelled Rian. Jack put his head down on Alex to see if he was still breathing but he was no longer breathing. "FUCK!" He mumbled and started giving Alex cpr. "Alex, baby. Please come back to me." He kept giving him cpr hoping he would start breathing again.

Alex woke up in a hospital. "What happened?" he groaned as he began to properly wake up. He smiled when he saw Jack. "Hey babe!" Alex tried to sit up. It really hurt. He hissed in pain. As he laid down he began to cry some more. He was in pain and felt really upset about what happened. "Where are Zack and Rian?" Alex asked as he tried to get up once again. His attempt failed and he winced in pain once more.

Jack sighed in relief when Alex woke up. "I'm so glad you're back, babe." He smiled and kissed your forehead. "Zack and Rian went to get some food they said to have me text them if you wanted anything. Hungry? Thirsty?" He sighed again. "I'm so fucking happy that you're okay, Lex." Jack pressed the button on the side of the bed that raised the back of the bed up so that Alex could sit up. He readjusted Alex's pillows and smiled at him. "Is that good babe? Comfortable?" He smiled and kissed your cheek. A tear slipped down his cheek, he was so incredibly happy. Had Jack not have known how to to cpr... Alex probably wouldn't be alive now. "You want me to call the nurse? She can give you medicine if you're in pain at all."

"I just need some water. And pain meds would be nice." Alex smiled at Jack. Alex got a questioning look on his face. "So, what happened? I remember Rian kissing you and Zack kissing me. Nothing else." Alex felt bad for asking, because he didn't want Jack to re-live the memories but he was curious. Alex's pain meds arrived tot he room and he took them. "I feel a lot better." Alex smiled once more in Jack's direction. "As we were saying... about what happened." Alex said before he got too off topic.

Jack smiled at his boyfriend, he was glad that he felt better now. "uhm... that's really it. I mean, I heard you screaming. So I ran after you and I found you passed out in your bunk. At first you weren't breathing normally and then you weren't breathing altogether so I started giving you cpr. The medic said had I not known how to do that... you probably wouldn't have made it..." He mumbled and looked Alex in the eyes. "I'm just so fucking glad that you're okay, Lex." He smiled and kissed Alex's lips gently.

After a few hours under observation and some sleep Alex was ready to go back on tour. "Thanks for everything." Alex told the doctors as he grabbed Jack's hand and walked out. As they were walking out a patient recognised them. Alex immediately took Jack's hands out of his. The girl screamed and ran up to him and hugged him. Jack immediately got a hug from the same girl right after. "Autograph?!" She screamed. Alex really wasn't in the mood, but this was a fan. He smiled and asked for a Sharpie. He asked where to sign. The girl pointed to her broken arm. "What did you do?" Alex asked. "Oh, I fell out of a tree." she replied elated Alex Gaskarth even spoke to her. "Well, feel better." Alex winked at her and began to walk off with Jack again. "I think it's time to have mature conversation this time. With no kissing. What do you think Jackalope?"

Jack playfully pushed Alex when he took his hand out of his. Jack smiled at the girl and then at his boyfriend. He wondered how the fans would react when they found out that he and Alex were dating. Jack nodded at Alex. "Yeah, I think you're definitely right. Plus, I don't need you passing out on me again. That was fucking scary. I'll bet anything that they're still in the caf looking for food. He laughed lightly and pulled Alex towards the elevators. He kissed Alex passionately and looked into his eyes. "I love you." He whispered. "....are you guys from All Time Low?" said a voice. Jack turned and saw a small girl in a wheel chair. His face immediately turned a light shade of pink, she had definitely just seen them kiss. "Yes, we are sweetheart. But promise us you won't tell anyone you just saw that." The girl nodded, "I don't see why I shouldn't since you two seem so happy but, okay. My lips are sealed. Could you autograph my copy of Dirty Work? It should be in that pocket on the back of my chair." Jack nodded and smiled sweetly at her.

Alex smiled at the girl. "Thank you." He signed the girl's copy of Dirty Work and got off the elevator. The were finally in the lobby and about to leave when a little girl, no older than 10 called their names. "Jack? Alex?" Alex swiftly turned around. "Yes?" Alex answered. "I love you.Have a nice day." the girl said she she walked off. Alex finally got out the doors of the hospital. He pulled out his phone and text Zack & Rian to come out. Zack & Rian met them out front. "I called Flyzik to come get us." Rian said. Flyzik pulled up in their tour van. Everyone got in and they went back to the tour bus. "Guys. We need to have a talk. The four of us. Mature talk."
