Brinn Ellington
Nicknames:
Brinny
Description:
Once a kind and innocent girl, she saw the world as a magical, happy place. That drastically changed as she was put in the orphanage. The magical place turned into a hell that she constantly wanted to escape.
Brinn is quite a mysterious person, who doesn't seem to share anything. She tends to remain quiet and keep to herself a lot, and even seems cold and dismissive to everyone. She carries herself with a powerful demeanor. While Brinn doesn't make friends that easily, she does socialize with the others if she is approached, though it depends on her mood. When she does make friends, she can get really protective of them. She doesn't like to waste her words on things that don't need attention. Brinn is incredibly guarded towards others, never sharing her feelings. To her, surrendering to one's emotions or talking about them is a sign of weakness. She's also a very intelligent person. Despite being so guarded, Brinn shows compassion towards others who deserve it in the little things she does.

Brinn was born to a successful businessman and his wife. She grew up a happy child, and was constantly pampered by her father. It was a very nice childhood, one filled with countless good memories. But, her life took a turn when she turned seven. Her parents drove Brinn to a weird building, promising her a great day, and left her there. She didn't know that the place was an orphanage, but she found out a little later when she was tossed into one of the rooms filled with other girls. It was hard being new in the orphanage. Being the new kid at school was bad enough, but at the orphanage, she was considered an outsider, a parish. To them, she had everything, a family, a home, and screwed it up, ending up losing all of it. She was tirelessly abused everyday by the older girls, and made very few friends. Every night she would wait for her parents to return and get her, to prove that she hadn't lost anything. But after a couple years of getting her hopes up every night, she realized they would never come. It finally hit her how big their betrayal was. The environment of the orphanage was a very damaging one. Brinn began looking for escapes, a way to get away from a world that had betrayed her in every way. While most gitls lashed out at others, Brinn retreated within herself. She became quiet and dismissive. That was where the Otherworld came in. When she finally turned 17, she ran away from the orphanage and found a way to live by herself.
