Appearance: Arthur has fair blond hair and an average complexion. Having Kept in good shape Aquaman has a muscular build that only supports and his intimidating look. Aquaman wears a scale armored shirt and green scaled leggings. His appearance radiates a god like feel to those around him. His blond hair and blue eyes portrays a look of royalty.
Goals & Ambitions: Aquaman’s main goal is to ensure the security of Atlantis. His people are his priority though this is often clouded by his bitter hatred for Black Manta, the villainous man who slaughtered Arthur’s father. Feelings of revenge and rage have been known to cloud Aquaman’s judgment. When Manta is in the mix and he will go out of his way to secure his revenge.
Abilities & Equipment:
Telepathy- Aquaman has a telepathic ability that allows him to communicate effectively with most marine animals. On occasion this ability can be used in other adaptations. He has yet to discover the variations of this ability. This is most predominantly expressed in calling sea-life to aide him.
Strength- Aquaman possesses above average strength, granting him the ability to lift, move and carry a substantial weight.
Hybrid adaptations- The ability to breath underwater, pressure resistance and resistance to cold temperatures are all significant abilities possessed by Arthur.
Swimming speed, Aquaman possesses the ability to swim quickly underwater and can out swim modern ships and submersibles.
Trident of Neptune- A powerful Atlantean Relic belonging to the God Neptune. The weapon holds multiple powerful magical attributes such as water and weather manipulation along with dealing a powerful energy blast (often electrical).
Weaknesses: His most predominant weakness is dehydration. The main manifestation of this becomes apparent in high heat environments. Being Half-Human he does and survive and function in his norm outside of water however the effects of this weakness become extremely apparent in environments like deserts etc.
Personal History: Arthur Curry,son of Tom Curry and Atlanna was born in Atlantis and raised in a small coastal village with his father. His mother, who died in childbirth was Atlantean. This heritage would seal Arthur’s destiny and he would be set to become the defender of the oceans. At a young age Arthur Curry would begin to manifest his powers, his father in an attempt to help his son would seek the assistance from a Dr. Shin. This scientist helped the young hybrid to control his unique abilities. Shin though had a darker plan for the boy. It was this man who would attempt to take credit and reveal the unique lad to the world. His father would have none of this, and set about sabotaging all the research that Shin had gathered in an attempt to protect his son.
Years later Arthur’s father was killed by Black manta. In an attempt to avenge his father Arthur killed Manta’s father, whom at the time he mistook for Manta himself. Manta swore his revenge on Aquaman and has been after him ever since. Aquaman eventually found his place on the throne in Atlantis at a young age and would meet Mera whom would become his queen.
