Anywhere and everywhere

Flustered and annoyed by his farewell 'gift' Day got to her feet and went downstairs. She pulled her phone out of her jacket and stuffed it into her back pocket. Then with an air of annoyance she left the house and began down the street. She'd have to fight Night now. She'd have to kill her. The look on her face was impassive though her eyes flashed multiple times as she continued onwards. As she did she wiped her cheek with the back of her hand. "Damn, he'll pay for that." Suddenly her mission changed. Night's death could be put off. It was his turn first.

" Fine." Kailo said glaring and turned jumping out of the room. ' She's hiding something.' Kailo thought and landed in the lair.
Back at the Lair Griffin was asleep in bloody clothes on one of the beds. She yawned and lay down nearly falling asleep in an instant.

After getting a wrap for her foot Night payed and stumbled from the hospital. She was now completely poor with no money to spare. She looked around warily, only her skateboard giving her comfort, and began towards the woods to be alone. Cole was gone, he was done with her, and she didn't know where Kailo had gone. Alone; the word was scary to her, but she'd have to get used to it if she wanted to live.

It didn't take long for Day to determine where Cole's house was. She just asked around, slowly getting information all the while. Once at the house she noticed that all the entrances and doors were bolted. Damn.. With a blink she jumped into the house, landing just inside the front door so she could look around.

Cole was in his computer room when he heard something in the living room. Grabbing him japanese dagger from off the shelf he jumped to the hallway he noticed a familiar smell but it couldn't be Night. Day, he thought what was she doing on his house how did she find it anyway. Walking around the corner he asked " What are you doing in my house". Holding the Dagger by his side he looked at her. She looked kind of upset, maybe the show of appreciation was not appreciated. He didn't know what she wanted but he knew it couldn't have been good because she wanted him to leave her house so badly then she comes to his that didn't make any sense.

"What's the big idea?" Day asked, arms crossing harshly over her chest. She made her way around the furniture, more graceful than Night but it was forced. "Sorry, but I don't understand your behavior. Maybe you're some other type of human, I don't know, but I don't like it." She stopped a couple feet from him and stared daggers at him. "It intreges me, to tell you, how one person can have so many complicated peices to them." Day leaned against the wall and watched him with an unfaltering gaze.

"What are you talking about I'm a jumper just like you" He watched her carefully as she spoke and then leaned against his wall" Why am I so intriguing to you Day or were you not talking about me" walking around to the couch he leaned back on the arm rest of the couch. Not letting down his guard he kept his eyes locked on her as she did on him. Neither one of them would budge with their gazes so the just stood therE on alert staring at each other.

She stared at him, chocolate gaze flashing every moment or so. She took out a dagger and swung it warily around her finger. "You seem to be the type of person who will risk their lives for others. Yet then you cower away from someone just because she is a target. I may hate my sister but you don't." Day wasn't really sure what she was going with this, but she continued to ramble on. "So you come to me for advice, a stupid thing to do, and end it with... a kiss?" Her gaze hardened. "You have multiple personalities, in my opinion at least." She continued to stare, unsure if she had actually made any sense at all.

" I'm not running from anything I barely know your sister". Cole was confused he only had one personality and that was the one he was showing her. " And it was a kiss on the check that's how I so gratitude to women I'm sorry if you took it any other way". He walked toward her not sure if she was still a threat or not but why had she come her to attack him for something she told him to do." I didn't go to you for advice just the rest of the story" he said looking at her with the same intensity she was giving him." Your right I don't hate your sister because she has done nothing to make me hate her". Cole thought about night at that moment he wondered how she was doing at the moment last time he saw her she wasn't doing to good.

"Fine, whatever," Day growled. The dagger she twirled in her hand came to a stop and she looked at the point of the blade, then at him. Despite the fact that she felt she could easily take him on, he was much taller and much bigger, and her impatience level was high. Her gaze flickered to the outside. Ever so slowly the beautiful rays of the sun were sinking so that the darkness could rise once more. She looked at him once more, enjoying the thought of getting rid of him just because she could. "I kind of have a problem with people who help my sister," she said quietly.

"Why do you have a problem with people helping her? Why do you hate your sister so much?" He asked her. He knew that she was underestimating him everybody did, the way she was playing with her knife he could tell she thought he was and easy target but he wasn't. He didn't like to fight so he didn't do it often but when he did he was a force to be reckon with. She looked outside and sadness graced her face she didn't like the dark that was ironic he thought.

"Because if you didn't notice, day and night don't mix well. Neither do my sister and I." Day pulled her guard down and sheithed her dagger, seeing that he didn't appear to be one to fight. "Why does it matter if twins don't get along? People make so much trouble over it." She watched him with a frown though it was clear that she didn't dislike him. She just wasn't sure if her feelings were more positive then negative.

"Well obviously you have never seen a solar eclipse that is a perfect example of the sun and the moon mixing together to make something extraordinary " he said sitting on the couch. " It's not that most siblings don't like each other I think it's the fact that you make each others life miserable. I mean from what I have seen she treats you like the enemy and vice-versa. Think about you jumped you sister into a tree and made her sprain her ankle and I bet you haven't even checked to see if she is okay. I'm not saying that it's your fault or her's either you guys were born to be enemies you couldn't help it".

"Yeah, you wish you understood what I live with," Day growled and watched as he sat down. Despite the want to join him, to sit instead of stand, she remained at her spot. "I don't pick on her because I'm her older twin, I pick on her because she disearves it. Too many people die because of her existance. The more miserable she is the less people she interacts with, therefore less people lose their lives."

" Hey look I didn't mean to upset you Day" he said as she was becoming upset. " Can you please come sit down I won't kiss you again I promise. Look if I try anything you have permission to stab me with you dagger okay". he looked at her wondering if she was going to sit down. It had been a long day ( no pun intended ) for the both of the them." Have you ever thought instead of making her miserable you find out who the hell is doing this and try to stop them?"

Kailo got up the next day (though it was more of a twilight) and yawned pulling out another set of clothes she changed before smelling something.
" Griffin! Are you cooking?! i think you added to much-" she was cut off by him coming out of another part of the cave carrying a tray with muffins on it.
" Happy birthday, love." he smiled and she blushed.
" It's not my birthday . . ." she said and he laughed wiping batter from his face.
" I know but you never will tell me when it is so today is your birthday for me."
" Nice. and this is my present?"
" No. Your present is better." he smiled and she took a bite.
" Wow! You added peanut butter!" she gasped and took another bite.
" Yeah . . . i found a recipe on your bed." he said rubbing hit head as she ate the rest.
" Thanks." she said and lay back.
" Come on your present is outside." he said giddy. She laughed and went out seeing a beautiful motorcycle.
" Wow." she whispered and Griffin laughed.
" And there is more. I found out where your brother i-"
" REALLY GREAT WOW YOUR THE BEST THANK YOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!!!"she shouted glomping him. He of corse was not prepared and so they fell over.
" Ummm . . . would you like to get off me now?" he asked and Kailo laughed.
" Where is he?"
" New York, Address 667 dark ave.." he read off a note. and she took it from his hand looking at the picture and leapt onto the bike.
" See ya." she grinned and disappeared revving up the engine.

Outside of the apartment Kailo appeared zooming down the street and swiftly turning down the side street. she slowed to a stop and parked her bike left of the building looking up.
" I know your in there Alex." she hissed and slipped on her gloves and re adjusted her shoes. " But soon you wont be alive."

Day, after a moments hesitation, took the offer and sat beside him on the couch. She was growing very conscious about how under dressed she was, in her pajama shorts and a slightly low cut tank top. Hoping not to make it evident she messed with her bleach blonde hair. "Don't you think I've tried that?" she asked quietly, staring blankly ahead. "I tried, alright? I did everything I could. I know it has to be another jumper but I can't find him.. or her, anywhere."

Night was watching Kailo from a distance. What the hell was she doing?

Kailo stepped through the doorway deciding that he would grow less suspicious if she walked and soon she arrived at the elevator. Smirking she went up to the 8th floor.
" Now why is number 667 on the 8th floor."she sighed looking at the layout. She arrived at the floor and smirked. The room was across the hall and she jumped outside the door knocking.
" Who is it?"
" Kayla!" she said in a high voice and there was a sigh from behind the door.
" Come on i told you that it was over Kay." he groaned and Kailo smirked as there was sounds coming from the other side, the sound of bolts grinding.
" I know Lex, i wanted to talk to you." she answered in the high voice again and as the door opened she changed back to normal. " And it's very important." Alex drew great surprise and immediately threw his hand out to send the shock but Kailo grabbed his hand and as the shock blew the room was filled with light as the bolts flew everywhere not hitting her.
" Hello, Alex." she smirked and shoved him away. He took a new approach and fell to the floor sending a current hoping to send it up her legs.
" That wont work." she called and walked without stumble. He ran over to his desk and picked up an umbrella. Kailo glared at the thing with great dislike and then saw the sparks zoom out.
" Lex, lex, lex . . ." she sighed and jumped behind him. " You never understood Lex!!!" she shouted as he swung around and the two began to struggle. " They were going to kill you! I saved your life! They were-"
" LIKE ME!!!" he shouted and began to cry. " THAT'S why! you were a jumper and they knew it. They were going to kill you that night and so they left you outside, but mom forgot to chain you . . ." he whispered and tears filled his eyes.
" Dad wasn't going to kill me! he was making me stronger!!!" He shouted tears streaming, " You were a thr-"
" A THREAT?!?!" she shouted and kicked the wand away with her shock proof shoes. " I wouldn't have been if they were loving parents!!!" she shouted back and held his throat to the ground with her shoe. " I would have spared them like i spared you!!!"
" We're all monsters! You! ME! That Bitch You were talking to who told you about me, and her pathetic sister, AND that Stupid Stud who fell in love with them!" (No offense, But i have plans for him and you have to dislike him for his part . . .)
" Night?" she whispered and he laughed.
" Don't think i don't know about you! Palidons and jumpers used to love each other. But then came the Mus-"
" Shut up you Bastard!" shouted Kailo and pressed harder on his throat and he gasped out a chuckle. Kailo looked down and saw with horror a hand on her ankle and had about 3 seconds to realize that it was her brothers before she was thrown against the wall with the force of the shock.

"Are you cold or something" he asked her noticing her pulling on her clothes a little. He got up and walked to get her a blanket to wrap up in." Here can't have you freezing to death in my house that wouldn't look good" he said handing her the blanket. He sat down back where he was sitting." I know you have tried but you have never tried with someone like me. I could help you maybe two heads are better than one. Beside you said I'm the type to get myself to kill to save some one let me live up to my rep" he said trying to make her laugh. He would do whatever he could to help her; what good was having this gift if he can't help someone in need." Hey who knows maybe at the end of this you won't want to kill me anymore".

"Did you seriously just call me a bitch?" Night was standing in the doorway with her eyes narrowed as she watched the two siblings struggle. "If you were in my position, fat-ass, you would have spilled up as well." She clearly didn't care that this was a personal problem. Nobody called her a bitch and got away with it.

Day rolled her eyes with grinned slightly. She pulled the blanket up, satisfied how it covered up everything. "Yeah, that's a good one," she teased. He didn't seem... that bad. He was good looking and so far had a good sense of humor. But something about her didn't like him. Suddenly her gaze flashed and she watched outside at something that clearly wasn't there. "Night, dammit.." She stood, dropping the blanket.

"What's wrong" Cole said as she jumped up scaring him half to death. She looked liked she was upset about something but he didn't know what. There was nothing that he said so it couldn't possibly be his fault. He picked up the blanket and laid it on the chair." Did something happen that I missed because if so can you fill me in".

"Actually I get really odd vibes when my sister is in trouble," Day explained as she began pacing around the room, staring blankly as she did. She looked annoyed and concerned all at once, but she wasn't exactly with emotion had driven her to jump up so immediatly. "Sorry, its probably nothing," she murmured and sat down next to him once more, heart pounding violently; she was sure he could hear it.

"Look obviously you thought it was something or you wouldn't have jumped up like that" he also heard her heart beat she was worried about night and which made him worry." I can take you to her exactly where she is" he knew she would look at him weird. Jumpers couldn't jump somewhere unless they had a jump trail to follow or had been there before in there life. Also there was no way for a jumper to jump exactly where someone was but what she didn't know is that Cole was a special jumper." If you want me to that is?"

She shook her head, forcing herself to calm. "She's fine, I think. They won't kill her. She always manages to get out of harms way." Day looked over at him, slightly surprised but not very. "Oh, so you're special, huh?" She leaned back against the couch, letting her hands rest on her stomach, and let out a sigh. It was a lot more comfortable than she expected. Despite the want to sleep she was almost enjoying this conversation.

"Yea I am I have tricks that would blow your mine" he said lighting the mood. "Are you hungry I am also a talented chef or so I have been told. I make a mean PB&J sandwich". he said sitting on the edge of the coffee table right in front of where she was leaning on the couch. They were actually having a pretty good conversation. It had been so long since he just talked to someone to talk. He never had been able to talk to someone and not try hard to keep what he was a secret.

"I'm not really hungry for anything," Day murmured, rubbing her eyes slightly. "Actually, I should be getting back to my house. It's late, you know. Things happen when crazy people like me manage to get outside at this time of night." She stood and stretched slightly, looking tired but still a bit wound up.
