there was a rumble as she appeared in her brothers room and she approached her father.
" What the Hell are you doin' inside?" he growled in a drunken rage.
" Taking care of you and her once and for all." she hiss and tackled her father into the cold bitterness of the outside. She released and disappeared back inside at the table where her mother leaned over the dope.
" Kailo!" she screamed and Kailo grabbed her wrist and teleported her also to the outside.
" Now you know what it is like for us." she hissed and disappeared again.

Night loved night. It was more comfortable than having to burn under the daylight. She was in the park sitting on one of the swings, ripping the petals off of a flower. Of course, she knew this was destined to happen. She and Day were never meant to find trust in each other. They had been opposites from birth. Day had even disliked Night so much that she bleached her midnight hair so it was blonde. Both wore opposite colors, had opposite personalities, opposite wants. She frowned and got up from the swing to drag herself to find a place to stay, for home was never home and for the time being, it was just a living hightmare.

He slowly got out of the bed trying not to wake the girl laying next to him. Truly he felt bad about leaving the girl before she woke up but he had no choice. He quietly looked around for his clothes, making sure not to disturb the sleeping girl. Cole found his pants and shoes but realized that she was wearing his shirt. He was not willing to take the chance so he left the shirt on her and wrote her a note. Placing the note on the night table he pictured his house in his head; when he opened his eyes he was in his bed room. Grabbing another shirt he put it on and went in the Kitchen to get something to eat. Being a jumper was great seeing the world and things like that but it was a lonely life.

" You're a palidon." she whispered and he grinned.
" Jumping Bi-"
" Finish that and you die." she hissed appearing behind the man holding a knife to his throat.
" You wont kill me you jumper. you'll die." He smirked and she grinned holding and wrapped a hand around his mouth.
" Not with these gloves." she said and slid the knife across his throat.
Back in the Lair Griffin sat holding a remote and pressing buttons furiously. Griffin had longish brown hair that was always a mess
" Hey, Griffin." Kailo sat taking off her coat and throwing it into the corner.
" How'd it go, love?" he said with his english accent, not taking his eyes off the screen.
" Fine. I managed to get another palidon." she said and flopped onto the couch next to him and stared at the screen.
" Get any others to track?" He said holding out another remote.
" Only one. It's his daughter. she is only 16 but she has already killed 4 jumpers." she said now also pressing buttons furiously.
" Great an amateur." he sighed rolling his eyes.
" Yeah. Stupid kid."
" Hey we're only kids too." he pointed out.
" Yeah but we didn't chose to be like this."
" Sure we did." he grinned and paused the game. " Look we both needed to do that or we would've died." he said trying to calm her.
" Whatever." She sighed.
" I got news of your brother." he said quietly and she looked up.
" You kill him?"
" No. I couldn't find him but i know that he is what you thought."
" A palidon." she hissed and Griffin looked down.
" We'll get him later." he promised and unpaused the game.

"Don't curse, Night, it isn't nice."
"Shut your mouth, Day, and stop following me," she countered and turned to walk away. Her twin was standing right in front of her, hands on her hips. The two stared a glare before Day straightened up.
"Always getting into trouble, aren't you? I'm surprised you didn't kill that guy."
Night gritted her teeth. "I owe him."
Day laughed quietly. She waved her hand and a skateboard landed in her hand. "Oh, is this yours?"
"Damn..."

"You're just mad cause you couldn't ride it so I got it instead," Night growled, looking slightly relieved that he had helped.
"Oh pardon, let me introduce myself," her twin continued and made a sweeping bow. "I'm Day, twin of that black haired brat behind me."
She gritted her teeth. "You have black hair too, Day, you just bleach it so you don't look like me."
"Whatever. This is getting boring. Let's make this more interesting." Day turned back towards her sister and then was gone.
Night blinked. Her twin clearly wasn't interested in the skateboard any longer. She turned to the trees to see where her sister had gone when she felt a rush of air behind her. Two hands pressed ruthlessly against her back and seconds later she found herself to be pinned against a tree. Teeth gritting she pulled a leg up and kicked out at her twin but came in contact with nothing. After waiting for a couple of minutes she pulled away from the tree, a bleeding scratch on her cheek. "Damn her," she muttered, back feeling tight and sore. Her gaze flickered back up to Cole. She sighed and covered her cheek, stuffed her other hand into her pocket, turned and walked away. She staggered slightly, her ankle feeling twisted.
