Introduction
Kitsunes have been around as long as people known for playing tricks, scaring mortals, and causing havoc but some are known as faithful guardians, friends, and even lovers and wives. Kitsunes serve Inari a shinto kami or spirit and serves as it messenger. the more tails a kitsune the older, wiser, and more powerful it can be one kitsune is known to have all ninetales! making it the wisest strongest and best kitsune out there. younger kitsunes see her as a god.
Its well known people make offerings to these kitsunes at the serenity shrine, and a few accept these offerings and follow the human who made it sometimes seen sometimes not kitsunes have the uncanny ability to shape shift into many forms mainly, a fox, human, or a human with fox ears and tails. but to be honest these powers arent at 100% some have problems hiding there tails when they get drunk is one of many ways of finding these tails.

The story
A group of teenagers/young adults thought it was all just folklore legend myth tall tales what ever you'd like to call it, they left an offering and each asked the same thing "dear Inari bless us with your messengers as guardians and let them protect us". The kitsunes heard their plea but knowing the boys didn't take it serious. they agreed to follow the boys and play tricks on them in their mortal forms, but seems things might go wrong seems some are falling in love with each of the humans.. and just might reveal themselves and race to the world, will they take the risk and admit their love or keep it hidden from them and try their best to finish the plan that much is up to you

It seemed like another long night to Kirara, as she padded along the forests edge the shrine was just a few feet in front of her, her ears perked up completely to alert her to any foot steps of humans. To be honest she seemed much like a regular arctic fox except for the three tails that were swaying behind her, her coat was a soft white much like fresh snow in the winter. "What to do" she woofed slightly picking up her pace towards the shrine where food was always left as an offering rice rice rice was all she could think about other then pondering what to do after she had her fill. It wasn't long till she reached the steps of the shrine but something was odd to her there were no offerings yet "WELL THANK YOU MORTALS" she grumbled climbing up the stairs with heavy paw steps as if she stomping, her three tails intertwined into one making her seem a lot more normal as she sat at the very top of the last step waiting to see if she would be brought some food, though she would be shoo'd off by humans thinking she was just another pesky fox trying to snatch a free meal from the humans precious Kitsune Deity's.

Tami sat in the forest under the flattering moonlight licking the white fur of her paw as she groomed herself lazily. Tonight seemed so quiet and peaceful, it was far too boring for her usual perky mind, she missed the sky’s full of awe inspiring lights, she believed they were called fireworks and were used on special occasions, something about festivals. Tami never paid much attention to the human world.
Suddenly out of a rustling bush jumped a screeching cicada, its brown beetle wings flickered for a moment as it too bathed in the white moonlight. Tami grinned her teeth sharp and her eyes full of excitement as she suddenly pounced at the cicada her two fluffy white tails swishing with her movement. However the bug escaped her paws and began to fly away quickly, this made Tami frown before leaping up and chasing after it almost like a bewildered kitten would have done.
Taking in the entertainment of her chase as she ran through the forest her steps crunching old dry leaves fallen to the floor she saw the flash of something familiar through the trees scattered trunks making her stop her chase of the cicada. Sauntering almost with a grin she poked her head out of the forest and then hopped down the small bank of grass towards a weary old shrine of which upon sat a figure similar to that of her own white fox form.
"K-i-r-a-r-a" she called dragging out the name playfully as her two tails hung over her head stepping on the first step of the shrine. "What brings you here tonight hmmm?" she spoke nonchalantly as her two tails also twisted together to look like one, being on a shrine meant humans could come after all. Lucky sat at her shrine, her blue and white fur almost rippling in the wind. She gracefully ran across the land, heading towards her shrine. She stopped behind it and stared at the emptiness with a frown. "No offering tonight?" She sighed, switching into her half form and sitting on the shrine. "Humans need to start believing." She heard voices and quickly turned, spotting two other kitsunes in the distance. She changed back into her fox form, her one tail swaying low behind her. She trotted over and stood a few feet from them. Now that there were others around, she was a bit shy. "H-hi. I see that you haven't got any offerings either." She smiled softly. "I'm Lucky Charm. Humans come to me for any kind of luck. May I ask who you two are?"

Her ears flickered hearing rustling in the distant bushes, then leaves crunching under some ones feet "humans?" her tail began to sway in hopes of food but soon heard her namebeing called out and then saw a figure of another fox "good evening tami" she said with a soft sigh disappointed that it wasn't a human but glad to see another kitsune. Now she wouldn't have to wait alone "What always brings me here rice and noodles with rice and more rice" she rolled onto her back her head hanging over the step now viewing everything upside down. "How about you what brings you here tonight?". her small ears flickered hearing another voice and soon rolling back onto her belly. "not a single grain of rice or a drop of sake tonight, and lucky charm? what a cute and unique name, my name is kirara i'm usually asked to be a guardian but its no fun protecting humans if you ask me" once again she shifted positions now sitting up her ears remaining perked up.

The male had checked around his house making sure his father was asleep who was visiting for the weekend, once he was absolutely sure he was asleep he snuck his way towards the kitchen softly humming a familiar spy tune the pot was on boiling the rice and freshly slice fish on the counter he opened the fridge grabbing the seaweed and placed it on the counter as well letting it warm up. once the rice was done he would place spoon fulls of rice onto the seaweed then small sliced of the fish in it as well rolling them up. then searching around again he would find a bottle of sake he boxed the food and placed the left over rice inside of it as well then placed everything into a black bag. "ready for a laugh?" he asked himself on his way out of the door and began his walk towards the shrine almost dragging his feet, he never really wanted to do this, he knew it was nothing but folklore. He sighed heavily looking up at the moon. As he drew closer to the shrine he could hear what seemed to be animal chatter at least that what it sounded like to him. He paused a few feet away from the shrine quiet interesting to him to see 3 foxes So these are kitsunes everyday foxes stealing food, this is truly a joke to believe in a deity that's a fox human.. they're just foxes scavenging like they always done in the wild he thought to himself

Seth had finish his usual chores inside of the guest room he called home. He had a fresh bit of rice made with pork and cooked fish. He layered a small amount of fish and pork on rice rolling it up on seaweed. He then took two small paper bowls one had fish on it the other had pork on it. Seth put it in a small basket where his grandma kept mini trinkets that were ment to keep away spirits.
"I better take one of these just ward off any evil spirits." He pulled out a light brown beaded bracelet with a little golden symbol on it that marked it as an evil spirt to not get close, Seth put on the bracelet and then place the three small bowls of food in the basket. He headed to the old shrine slowly walking he was cautious and a bit paranoid. "Why did I agree to do such things." Seth thought nervously as he got closer and closer to the shrine.

Charm paused and turned as a human boy came closer. She tilted her head a bit and then ran the other way, heading to her shrine. Her blue fur looked almost silver in the moonlight to show humans that she was a kitsune, although most humans always thought it was just a white color. She darted to her shrine and walked behind it, hiding. She groomed herself for just in case the human asked for a special kind of luck, in which case she would turn into either her human or half-form self. She watched from behind the shrine, seeing if the human decided to ask for luck or if he would just go to Kirara's shrine.

Seth saw something move quickly through the grass whatever it was, it was silvery or white. "What the hell was that?" He looked a bit but couldn't make anything out. As he looked he saw a small trail even though Seth was scared as a rabbit in a fox territory he decided maybe he'd go and investigate. He followed the small trail and saw a shrine (Lucky's shrine) it was old but there was no evidence of any food being offered to it some quite sometime. Seth looked in the basket he pulled out the pork and rice and cut the seaweed roll in half. He then placed the seaweed roll on a piece of paper towel and the pork rice next to it. "For the spirit who protects this shrine I give you a small offering." He said gently and quietly. "Besides I hate to see any shrine without some respect without an offering. Seth smiled and headed to Kirara Shrine to give the rest of seaweed roll and the fish rice as an offering.

Tami folded her tail around her body as she sat on her four legs calmly as she watched kirara move around into her strange position, lifting a paw she began to lick it again gently twitching her whiskers slightly in the small breeze. "Nothing much, a cricket came by and it was entertaining me for a bit untill I saw you here kirara" she shrugged matter of fact before smiling "Im sure humans will visit you soon, they are always asking for protection after all" her tone was kind but it held a little remorse.

From Kirara's reply she hadn't neither, the kitsune looked pretty shy so Tami just gave her a pleasant smile "Tamaki, you can call me Tami" she then grinned with a mischievous glint "I bring good health to the humans that I deem deserving, though I haven't visted this realm in a while" she spoke with happiness that was almost fake.
The reason she had stopped visiting this realm was because humans had trashed her shrine long ago in some silly prank, it was no longer recognisable and humans had therefore stopped visiting her and asking for her help. She didn't recieve offerings anymore since her shrine was buried under the forests plant growth, she doubted anyone would come across it again and would probably rather find a tidy shrine of another Kitsune who offers health anyway. Maybe one not quite so picky as her as to who she chooses to help aswell.

Kirara's ears had flicker to the some what familiar sounds of foot steps that were drawing closer soon turning her head back to lucky to see her dash off and barely two heartbeats later a human had emerge following lucky's trail straight to her shrine, kirara began to paw the ground as the scent of food crossed her nose almost ignoring Tami's good bye "see you around make sure to come back" she said softly her tail swaying more and more by the second, she had lost view of the human causing her to stand on her hind legs quiet wobbly it was certain her long and fragile vulpine legs weren't made to be bipedal. But seeing the human come closer caused her to drop onto all fours again and began her way down the stairs but she paused her two front legs on the stair below and her hind legs on the very top step. she knew the male was headed to the shrine but there was another human scent had he been there the whole time she didn't know for sure but kept her spot wondering if the other person had watched them the whole time.

Jessie attention were drawn from the foxes to another human who had actually went up to the first of many shrines. He snickered he wasn't happy with the fact the guy had to ruin his experience of witnessing foxes in the wild. But he had found a few things weird, so many foxes on one territory, though it seemed to have a good food supplies with humans dropping food, but the color of their pelts were much of those of foxes found in colder northern areas but what ever he had to do what he had came here for.

Lucky walked out from behind her shrine and smiled. "Two offerings right next to each other?" She watched the second boy leave. "He didn't know what to say, but I'll still give him his luck." She quickly turned human, her long white hair flowing slightly in the wind. She laughed softly. "May Luck go their way." She sat on her shrine and picked up some of the food, eating it gingerly while taking small sips of sake in between. She smiled, sipping down the last bit of sake and taking the bowl and offering leftovers, placing them in a small hole in the ground. She transformed back into a fox, having eaten everything and finished the sake, and trotted after Seth. She stood behind some tall grass to stay hidden as she watched him.

Seth headed to Kirara Shrine unaware that something was following him. Once he got to the shrine he gently placed the other half of the seaweed roll and fish rice. "For the spirit who protects this shrine." Seth said once more in a quiet voice. He looked at the sky through the trees and could see the bright moon and even the stars. They looked beautiful he felt at peace with himself. "I wonder what mom and dad are doing? I hope they're well." He said a little sadly, eventually he got up from where he was crouching and decided he should get back home.

She poked her head out from underneath the shrine crawling out from under the tight space, only getting half of her body out she had only stopped to listen to the male speak "hope they are well?" she said tilting her head slightly to the left as her last word slipped her muzzle, she tried scurrying back underneath the shrine bumping her head against it "Oh,great Inari!" she mumbled rubbing her right front paw against her head glad, though she was glad she had gotten underneath the shrine again she couldn't help but growl and luckily there was only room for a fox to fit.
Once regaining herself she could see lucky at least catch a glimpse of her fur in the grass a small sigh of jealousy escaped her maw, apparently lucky was a lot stealthy then she was and that is what she was a bit jealous of, most if not all kitsunes were stealthy compared to herself. even regular foxes were, well being a klutz has its up and downs i guess.

Even though Zira wasn't the most prankful Nogitsune, she was kinda glad that she lost that 'bet' with her eldest brother. Now she could prank those snobby, selfish Myobu kitsunes. They deserve it, Zira thought, for making the humani give them 'offerings' just so they don't have to get food for themselves. The lazy things...
Transforming into her human form, Zira pulls out a scroll and takes it up to one of the shrines (OOC: I don't care who gets it). She places it on the steps and smirks. Zira had no clue what was on it, for it was her eldest brother who wrote it. It was probably something stupid and ridiculous.

Tami sighed as she walked away from Kirara's shrine the human making his way towards Lucky's she supposed.
Playfully she walked with a little skip to her toes before catching a glance at the soft tails near her as she let them fall out into two again, with a smirk she thought she may be childish for once, it may take her mind away from the thought of her abandoned destroyed shrine hidden under plant growth. Swishing her tails she jumped around in circles trying to catch them in her mouth like a puppy would.
As she jumped her excited squeels came out in fox barks to the humans her feet moving through the forest with every dainty leap, suddenly she found her back left foot trip on a stone sending her body flying forward with an "umph" to the ground. Laying flat on the ground she sighed happily feeling flushed with energy from her little game, however as she did her eye caught the site of something rather tasty. Pushing herself up she trotted over to a rather strange susi roll, what on earth was such a thing doing out in the open?
Sitting down she stared at it before looking around wondering if maybe the other Kitsune's had dropped their offerings. When she saw no-one she sniffed it instead, and raised an eyebrow surprised to find the scent of a human male. Did he leave this for the foxes she wondered a soft smile tweaking onto her face, "what a kind human, I wonder what possessed him to do this?" she mumbled shifting out of her fox form.
With the gentle flow of a light purple kimono hugging her body fox ears twitching through her head of strange coloured purple hair and a flash of two fluffy white tails at her back she sat down on the floor comfortably crossing her legs and leaning back on her hands as she popped the sushi roll in her mouth happily.
(guys need to say "dear Inari bless us with your messengers as guardians and let them protect us". LOLS)
Playfully she walked with a little skip to her toes before catching a glance at the soft tails near her as she let them fall out into two again, with a smirk she thought she may be childish for once, it may take her mind away from the thought of her abandoned destroyed shrine hidden under plant growth. Swishing her tails she jumped around in circles trying to catch them in her mouth like a puppy would.
As she jumped her excited squeels came out in fox barks to the humans her feet moving through the forest with every dainty leap, suddenly she found her back left foot trip on a stone sending her body flying forward with an "umph" to the ground. Laying flat on the ground she sighed happily feeling flushed with energy from her little game, however as she did her eye caught the site of something rather tasty. Pushing herself up she trotted over to a rather strange susi roll, what on earth was such a thing doing out in the open?
Sitting down she stared at it before looking around wondering if maybe the other Kitsune's had dropped their offerings. "Dear Inari bless us with your messengers as guardians and let them protect us." Seth said in front of shrine as he thought about his friends and his parents. He then heard something hit the shrine he tried to see what it was but the trees and the moon cast an eerie shadow and what ever it was looked akward and lumpy. Seth backed up as he heard a mixture of his own heart beating so loud and scratching againist the dirt! He then began to run opposite way so freaked out he yelled. "DEMON!!!"

Lucky quickly stood up when he shouted. She chased him from the side-grass as he ran, hoping to catch up and be able to at least tell him of his blessing from her. She quickly turned into a full human, lifting up the skirt of her kimono and running behind him, her pure white hair flowing behind her. "Wait!" She stopped at the edge of the shrine yard, not wanting to go any farther because of the legends she had heard from other kitsunes. "Don't go farther then the shrine gate. If you do, your shrine will disappear along with your ability to stay at the shrine yard. You won't be able to come back until the human you protect dies or no longer needs you." She laughed nervously. "Silly old myths. I'm sure." She stepped under and through the shrine gate, feeling a sharp disconnection. She turned with wide eyes. "Or not." She swiftly turned and ran down the path, continuing to follow the boy. "No turning back now. He asked for protection and gave an offering for luck. I'll have to fulfill the rest of the myth, assuming it's true."

Jessie spun around hearing the other person scream but soon caught a glimpse of a fox and began laughing "what demon its a fox dude" he crouched down in front of the shrine wavering a piece of sushi and clicking his tongue trying to get the fox to come out from its hiding hole. But noticed someone chase after the male "Well what in the world is going on a girl got in here to?". Shaking everything that just happened off he would continue trying to get the fox to leave from under the shrine his thoughts sending shivers down his spine "what if its true?" he though to himself.

Seth ran he didn't here the voice behind him he was to freaked out he ran through the path until he tripped on his own two feet and fell over into some mud. The mud got on his face, arms, and on his shirt, unfortunatly he dropped his glasses so he couldn't see. Seth sat up and wiped the mud off of his face and arms. "Oh damn it! I can't see a thing its to dark." He squinted and felt around for his glasses. "Where are they?!" Seth was practically blind without his glasses as he crawled around. "This was a bad idea." He thought to himself.

The screaming caused her ears to fold back, but soon it had stopped and was only followed by fast moving foot steps she sighed heavily and edged her way out from under the shrine through the back, shifting to her human form a maids like dress hugged her curvy petite frame, though kitsune usually had kimonos but this wasn't her first time around humans she had quiet a few different outfits, though she had to admit walking in her heels weren't easy she remained in her fox form far to long.But stumbling her her way around the shrine she noticed jessie waving the sushi roll around reaching she took it plopping it into her mouth "delicous" she muttered then noticing a scroll on the shrine "hmm this is odd what is it?" she looked at the male before picking it up "its light weight" she said. not caring for her rudeness towards the male

"Legends of the shrines, you say?" Charm was quite impressed. "Have you heard the myth that if a kitsune leaves the shrine yard, she can never go back until she is no longer needed?" She laughed. "And it's nice to meet you, Seth. Glad to know you believe in legends." She decided to discreetly tell him of his blessing, as to not give herself away. "Also, I saw you place food at the luck kitsune's shrine. Now you'll have good luck!" She smiled sweetly. "Say, do you know a place I can stay for a while? I don't exactly know what to do since I, er, left my house far away and wandered here. I can't go back, due to some personal problems." She wasn't lying, just telling her story in a different way. Kitsunes couldn't lie without difficulty, and she hated to anyway.

I would like to have the last male slot reserved/taken, but i don't wanna force it upon you dear, and its always great to have someone with ideas to bring surprises into the role play, and i ask all of you to bare with my poor grammar German was my first language and English writing been a bit difficult with me xD, and actually beckki i can open a new kitsune slot, though you wont have a male partner having a few wandering kitsunes would make things interesting
