Character Back Story

Aiden's parents are sending him to summer camp this year rather then some expensive sports camp because they want him to try and make some actual friends rather then enemies for once. They also think it will keep him out of trouble because in summers past he is all about the three b's Booze,Boobs and bullcrap. If Aiden isn't playing some sport he is always partying and starting trouble, but if you know his father and how strict he was then you might understand why Aiden acts the way he does.

Arella Blake

Image
Arella sat on the bus keeping to herself the entire ride to Lawton Wood Summer Camp. This was going to be the first time she had ever attended one and she could already tell she may not like it in the end. After all, she didn't know anyone who was going to be there, at least from who she could tell was on the bus. The red head just wished her grandmother didn't force her parents to have her go to this stupid camp. Arella had better plans for the summer then spending it with bratty teenagers she didn't even know.
Once the bus arrived at the camp she climbed off following the other teens. The young female looked up at the wooden sign with the words Lawton Camp and let out a frustrating sigh as she slung her backpack over her left shoulder. The female took a deep breath before making her way under the sign and officially onto the camp ground.

Caius spent the entire bus ride doing three things. Listening to his I-Pod, chewing gum, and staring blankly out the window. In the back of his mind he still couldn't believe that this was happening. He could have been practicing with his band, getting somewhere with what he wanted his career to be. But instead he had to spend the entire summer trapped in camp with people he didn't even know, or really want to get to know. His parents were only making him go because they thought he should make some friends, that he spent too much time focusing on music. Well at least he had something he loved to focus on, unlike them. They were trying to make him go their route, barely getting enough money to get by, but being safe, consistent. They didn't want him on the roller coaster ride that was being a musician. But that wasn't going to change and they knew that.

When the bus stopped he picked up his guitar case and backpack from the seat next to him, a nice assurance that nobody else would be sitting there, and got off with the rest of the teens. His backpack was heavy, probably due to the entire case of white Ultra Monsters that he had stuffed in there, along with some snacks and candy. Stuff to get him by for the as long as he could. His parents had also given him one of their credit cards, their way of trying to make it up to him, he could buy whatever he wanted from the general store that they had here.

Caius wordlessly helped the adults unload the bus, for the sheer reason that he wanted to get his stuff and get away from all the teens as quickly as possible. Once that was done to grabbed his suitcase and took off into the campgrounds. Hoping that they got their cabin assignments soon. He wanted to explore, find a nice quiet hidden spot that he could call his own, and spend as much of the summer as he possibly could there.

Summer sat toward the middle of the bus. She predominantly smiled as people passed her or listened to her iPhone. Occasionally her over bearing mother sent her a text message saying this was best for her and she missed her dearly already. Or her sister sent her a text about how much this blowed or promised to make sure that Johnny ( Summer's crush of two years, who also is her best friend and her enemy's boyfriend) doesn't become his bitch girlfriends pawn.

The blonde looked down at her outfit. A floral bustier fit tightly to her curvy torso and snug white low rise shorts hugged her hips but were also short enough to show off the rose tattoo on her thigh. She decided to wear cream canvas toms on her feet and a gold chain along her ankle with a small gold heart on it. A similar gold chain dangled on her neck as well.

At some point she fell asleep and woke up , rather gracelessly, to see them pulling into the camp. She smoothed her shirt down and finger combed her hair from the top to the ends which hung just above her waist. She was suddenly glad that she decided to curl her hair that morning. She climbed out the bus and looked around, as her eyes adjusted to the bright lights. When she heard a grunt and a muttered "Dumb blonde" behind her she blushed and rushed off the bus mumbling "How Rude"

She walked over to a board that other students were congregating to and looked for her name. "Lean Anderson..." She read aloud looking around, as if she would spot her based on her name. Finally giving up on her roommate magically popping up out on nowhere, she headed to her Cabin.

Once she put away her clothes, feminine products, multiple hair products, and seemingly endless makeup she pulled her curls into a high ponytail and got ready to head out. But not before leaving a note on the mirror saying "Sorry for all my crap If you need to move it you can, just make it neat. xoxo Summer." Then she slipped her fringed bag on her shoulder and shoved a cherry Chapstick, a rose pink lipstick, a water, mini brush, iPhone, and nail file in it.

She slipped out her Cabin and began to walk around. It was a nice day hot, but not too humid and when she felt a breeze pass her she let her hair out of the ponytail. It fell down to her waist cloaking her like a veil. When she finale looked up she spotted a big muscular blonde guy going for a run. At least he's making the best of his time She thought to herself.

No Service. Raquel read the two words in top right corner of her iPhone 5s to herself for what felt like the millionth time in the last hour. She couldn't call anyone. Couldn't text. The only thing her phone was good for at this point was listening to music and playing apps. Which is exactly what she did. Laying her head against the glass window she put her playlist on shuffle and listened to the random songs that came sounding through her Beats earbuds. She played Candy Crush until she ran out of lives and then switched to Flappy Bird as she waited out the time until she regained lives to resume playing Candy Crush.

She repeated this playing cycle between the two games until the bus finally came to a stop when they arrived at their destination. Once the person sitting beside her got up and move out into the aisle Raquel stood up taking a moment to stretch. They had been sitting for hours and it felt good being able to stretch her legs. She noticed a guy seated all the way at end of bus fast asleep. No else looked like there were going to wake him up so Raquel decided to walking to the back of the bus. Placing a hand on the guy's shoulder she gently shook him, "Hey. We're at the camp." Stepping aside as the attractively tall guy got up putting the strap of his bag over his head and across his neck he gave her a simple "Thanks", as he walked by her as he walked up the aisle. "No hay problema."

Getting off the bus behind him she stood amongst the other teens and several adults as everyone's luggage was unloaded. When she spotted her bags she grabbed them and walked over to where she saw people huddled by a bulletin board. On the board was a piece of paper with a list of names and cabin numbers. There were two people to every cabin which meant she would be sharing. Layla Grey. Lord. I hope she not a bitch. Raquel thought as she found her name as well as the name of her summer roommate on the paper.

Turning from the bulletin she walked across the camp grounds until she found her cabin. Could be worst, she thought to herself as she walked into the empty cabin. From what she could tell she had made it to the cabin first. Which meant dibs. It took about fifteen or so minutes for Raquel to unpack all of her belongings and when she was done she wasn't exactly sure what she was suppose to do next. She had never done the whole summer camp experience thing before. When it had become clear that her mother was sending her whether she liked it or not she had promised herself that she would give it chance. However, the idea of an entire summer without internet and cell reception was just not her idea of the best summer ever.

She sat in quiet boredom tapping her tropical leopard print nails against the wooden bed frame as she attempted to wait for her roommate to arrive. Succumbing to the boredom that she felt in attempt to find something to do she left her cabin and went to see the sights. As she walked she braided her hair into a side french braid that hung down past her bust. It was a nice summer day out. Hot but not humid and there was a nice breeze blowing. Raquel wore a simple all white flowy crop top that left the tattoo on her side visible and a pair of denim laced shorts. Two light necklaces decorated her neck, a bracelet on her right wrist and a pair of sandals.

Aiden was surprised at how nice the camp was he didn't expect much but it was way nicer then he thought it was going to be. As he continued his run he rounded a corner and was near some more cabins and there was a pretty big lake to his right that he looked out over as he kept running and not paying attention to where he was running almost into a girl braiding her hair as she walked. Almost running into her he smiled at her and said. "Excuse me I'm sorry."

Aiden went to start running again but stopped after taking a couple steps and turned around taking one of his headphones out. "Wait your the one who woke me on the bus when we got here rn't you? Thanks again but you could of left me sleeping maybe they would of drove off without noticing, anyways I'm Aiden it's nice to meet you." He said and gave a slight grin and laugh at the leaving him on the bus part intending it as a joke.

Raquel hated to admit it to herself but the camp site was phenomenally beautiful. It almost made being without internet and cell service worth it. Almost. She wasn't the biggest nature buff as with all the wide open spaces and beautiful scenery came the wildlife. Snakes, bears and more importantly the bugs. When it came to bugs she was a total girl in every way and if something touched her there would be some loud screams coming from her. She hated bugs with a passion. One thing she didn't hate was the water and over the course of the summer the lake would definitely become her home away from home.

She was in her own world as she was just finishing up the french braid she had been doing when the guy from earlier nearly collided with her. "Excuse me I'm sorry." Raquel just smiled. "No problem roadrunner." She said jokingly as she started walking again. "Wait your the one who woke me on the bus when we got here rn't you?" His voice stopped her as she turned around to face him. "Thanks again but you could of left me sleeping maybe they would of drove off without noticing, anyways I'm Aiden it's nice to meet you." Raquel couldn't help but laugh. "Please, you think am gonna spend my entire summer here and just let you get away. Sorry sleeping beauty but if am stuck here so are you. And am Raquel by the way."

Aiden couldn't help but get a evil grin on his face after hearing what Raquel said. Sleeping beauty huh.....so you think I'm beautiful....but I don't think guys can be beautiful I think what you meant to say was sleeping handsome." He said with the sly grin still on his face and also, and the other thing if your here I have to be here so in other words you want me here is that what you ment?" Aiden said with a slight laugh as he put his sweaty arm around Raquels shoulders and looked out of the lake once more.

"Well I can't say this stupid camp has started the way I thought it was going to,I'm standing here with a very beautiful girl looking out over a beautiful lake maybe this summer won't suck so bad after all." He said looking still looking out over the lake and then turning to look at her with a smile on his face.

"Sleeping beauty huh.....so you think I'm beautiful....but I don't think guys can be beautiful I think what you meant to say was sleeping handsome." Raquel just shook her head as she attempted to hide the smile that was growing on her face. She knew exactly what kind of guy was standing before her. She was a cheerleader after all. She knew her jock types well and Aiden was definitely a jock. If it wasn't his body that gave it away he's cocky demeanor did. "I think you think your handsome. I just think your a deep sleeper." She replied cooly as he draped his muscular sweaty arm over her shoulders as they stood facing the lake. "Well I can't say this stupid camp has started the way I thought it was going to, I'm standing here with a very beautiful girl looking out over a beautiful lake maybe this summer won't suck so bad after all." He spoke looking out at the lake before turning his gaze to her with a smile on his face. "Well aren't you just the natural charmer." She said as she removed his sweaty arm from around her shoulder. "So in what way did you expect this stupid camp to start?" She asked as she started walking away from him. The lake was beautiful and all but the camp grounds didn't stop at the lake. She wasn't sure when they would be called to start their mandatory bonding exercises with the other campers but before they did Raquel wanted to do some exploring. Whether or not Aiden decided to join her on her mini dora the explorer trip and get back to his run was up to him.

Earbuds in her ears, music turned up as loud as it could possibly go, bare legs crossed with left leg bouncing along to the beat of the music that was playing from her cell phone, the brunette hummed along with the song that was playing. Every now and then she'd get complaints from other kids who were on the bus with her, but she just shrugged them off and continued on with what she was doing. After all, even though she was forced to go to this stupid summer camp, she still had to work on her own music.

Once the bus pulled up to the camp she let out a relieved sigh, happy that she was finally going to be able to get off this stuffy bus and out into the fresh air. The young female pushed through the crowds to get to her things in the back of the bus. Before making her way over towards the room board she checked on Sera, her beautiful red fender guitar. After finding that she was alright, she closed the case and continued making her way towards the board. After scrolling down the list she noticed that she had been the only one in the entire camp who didn't have a roommate. Well at least that is until late comers show up.

The young brunette smiled and shrugged her shoulders as she began making her way through the crowds once more and into cabin fourteen. Leaving the door wide open for the fresh air, she claimed the bed by the window and began unpacking. Once she was finished she pulled Sera out and began strumming the strings as she sang along to the original song she had been working on for the past month.

Leah glanced around the bus. Most of the teenagers were looking at their phones or sleeping. Leah didn't own a phone, never had. She leaned against the window and looked up at the sky outside. This was as long away from home she had ever been and she felt great. Everyone else on the bus seemed to be dreading the place they were going, but Leah was quite positive about it. No matter what, it couldn't be worse than home.

The bus finally stopped and she tried to get off, but a boy bumped into her. "Watch where you going.. redneck" he hissed before pushing her aside and jumping out of the bus. Was it really that obvious where she was from? Leah followed carefully behind him, trying not to let the words hurt her. He was probably just having a bad day. She briefly helped getting the others luggage out of the bus, then she grabbed her own suitcase and followed the crowd to a bulletin board with names on it. After letting everyone else look first, she finally found her own name. "Leah Anderson and Summer Makinna," she whispered to herself. Summer was a nice name. She wondered if the girl would be nice too.

Leah started to walk, but then realized she didn't know where she was going. The only cabins she could see from here had the numbers 11, 12 and 13 on them. Hers was number 7. She glanced around the camping site. The place was beautiful. She wanted to go find her cabin as soon as possible so she could start exploring the area. She looked around to find someone she could ask for help. There was a big shirtless guy talking to some pretty girl. Then there was another blonde girl not far from them. She didn't want to ask the two people talking. The guy looked a bit intimidating. She decided to ask the blonde girl who was on her own. She looked like someone from the big city and Leah couldn't help feel a little nervous. She took a deep breath and instinctively grabbed the cross she was wearing around her neck. She might hate talking to strangers, but she wasn't gonna let it show. She walked over to the girl who was dressed nicely. Leah couldn't help compare the blondes outfit to her own worn-out dress and old boots. "Do you know where I can find cabin 7?" she asked with her thick Southern accent and smiled.

Layla Grey

Image Layla spent most of the bus ride listening to music and hadn't bothered to look at any of the others on the bus. ''God, I hate buses''she thought and continued looking out the window. there is no way she would have survived the ride without her Ipod. it was the old, but it had served her well.

Once the bus finally arrived at the camp, Layla grabbed her luggage(Mainly just clothes and her back up pair of headphones) and made her way over to the notice board to check her cabin pairings with her headphones still on.She found her name and her cabin pairing ''Raquel Pierce, Wonder what shes like?''. On the way to the cabin, she couldn't help but notice the lake. ''Didn't Know there was a lake here'' she thought. At the cabin Layla took out her headphones and put her Ipod in her bag. Her foster parents wanted her to make loads of friends, but Layla didn't see that happening. ''I wont be here long, it will be over soon. I hope''.

Layla had gotten up early that morning as she had forgotten to pack and she decided to try and get some sleep. The bed in the camp wasn't as uncomfortable as Layla had imagined. ''Maybe I could sleep all through this stupid camp''. . But she couldn't with the sunlight coming in through the window. She decided she had better get acquainted with at some of the others.
''wonder if anyones worth talking to'' she said to herself, as she was leaving the cabin. 'I just hope they don't
ask questions''

What can I say... and well for starters I didn't think there were going to be any beautiful women here and I wasn't expecting the camp ground to be so nice." Aiden said with a slight laugh as he turned to start running again. "Well I'm going to go back to my cabin and shower before we have to start our bonding stuff or what ever they are going to call it, you can join me if you'd like. Anyways it was nice meeting you I'm in cabin twenty four and if I don't see you there I'll see you around." He said with a smile as he started to run off again and went around a corner stopping just in time to miss colliding with a girl that had pinkish red hair on a skateboard. Before starting to run again he stopped and looked at the lake once again and saw someone in the lake and figured he would see how to lake felt.

Aiden took off towards the lake and as he got close to the edge of the lake kicked off his shoes and socks and dove in head first, as he surface he turned around and saw a red haired girl in the water. "Hey I'm Aiden." He said with a smile. Looking around at the camp from lake level make it look even better then it already did but he couldn't waste anymore time and looked at the red head. "Sorry to cut this short but I need to get back to my cabin and shower before we have to go to some lame meeting or event I'll see you around." Aiden said with another smile before he got out of the lake and picked up his shoes and socks and started to run back to his cabin barefoot as he started to run he saw a pretty girl just getting to the lake and waved at her as he continued on his way to cabin.

Walking inside he saw that his roommate had made it there finally and as he walked in the cabin and stood in the doorframe of the bed room sighed it was worse then he thought not only was he reading like a nerd he from the look of his things and him he looked like a emo. "Please tell me your not one of those emo or goth type of people." Aiden said with a slight annoyed tone in his voice.

Arella Blake

Arella chuckled softly at Evie's words and nodded her head as the red head was making her way out the cabin door with her skateboard. The young female decided that she'd go out for a small swim in the lake, so she changed into her hot pink bikini and tired her long strands up into a pony tail before sliding her flip flops upon her feet and grabbing a towel. She calmly walked out the cabin, closing the door behind her and headed out towards the lake.
After arriving she noticed there was a flaming red head and a very attractive male in the lake already and she smiled softly to herself, hoping that she wouldn't have any problems with either of them this summer. She's never seen them in her life so she hoped that they wouldn't get off on the wrong foot. Arella placed her towel and flip flops down onto one of the fold out chairs on the lake's beach then headed out into the water. She noticed the male began leaving the lake and she waved back at him. There was no denying how attractive he looked with the water dripping off his body the way it was, but she wasn't going to say anything about it at that point. Arella just continued going back into the water.

Seeing as how it was a beautiful day out, Stevie thought it would be a good idea to go outside and play her acoustic for a little while. She always seemed to enjoy playing her guitar outside, it was nice and calming to her. The young brunette stood up from the bed and walked outside, her red acoustic in hand then sat down on one of the empty benches.

After she made herself comfortable on the bench, she began strumming the guitar in an even pace and began singing along with the tune she was playing. The female glanced over at the notebook she had sitting beside her every now and then, trying to place different lyrics places and switch things around to make the song sound complete.

Aiden let go of the door frame and walked into the room and over to where his bed and where his stuff was and grabbed out a pair of sandals and set his shoes under the bed and grabbed a towel from his bag. As he turned to walk out of the room he stopped in the doorway. "Don't touch any of my shit and we won't have any problems." he said before he walked down the hall to the bathroom.

Once he was in the bathroom he turned the water on so it could warm up before he took his shower. After standing there under the shower head for a few minutes just relaxing he turned the water off and got out of the shower drying himself off, got dressed and did his hair before he walked out of the bathroom and as he passed the bedroom threw his dirty stuff into the corner next to his bed and without saying anything left the cabin to walk around. He saw a red haired girl with what looked like to be lots of freckles looking lost and by the looks of her screamed preachers daughter. "Did daddy make you bring your chastity belt?" He said with a laugh jokingly but from the looks of the girl she would probably not take it as a joke. As he looked around he saw a blonde haired girl sitting on a table leaning back on her hands looking up at the sky. Aiden grinned and made his way over to the table and sat on the table and leaned back just like the blonde was doing until their heads were almost touching.

Looking up at the sky with his sunglasses on he said, "It's not as bad as you expected it to be is it? Surprised the hell out of me."

ImageSummer lazily tilted her head slightly toward him. "Once you get over the fact that this is a punishment and I'm eighteen years old at a summer camp." She laughed "Yeah it's pretty beautiful She sat up, turning slightly to look at him. She had to admit he was hot. He had that tall blonde, tanned, and muscular thing going for him but she knew his type very well. She called them bumble jocks. Going from flower to flower as they pleased. Sure they were fun, but you couldn't really expect much from them but fun. Though she also knew that bumble jocks loved two things for sure: they're sports and a good challenge. Which is where girls like her came in. She licked her lips, a habit of hers when she was thinking something through before grinning. "Your the hot runner guy who was flirting with the cute hispanic girl right?" She slid off the table and stood in front of him. She didn't have to ask she knew she was pretty. She was tan all year long, she had a body girls would kill for (full breast, small waist, flat stomach, long legs, the works), she had perfect hair, and a cute face. Which gave her the opportunity to play hard to get. She smiled, and it was one of those lazy smiles that only certain girls could get away with before saying "Your cute, runner boy" winking and walking away.

Arella felt the small chill of the air around her once the wind picked up slightly so she decided it was time to get out the lake and change back into her dry clothes. After picking up her towel and wrapping it around her dripping body, she grabbed her purse and slung it over her shoulder and began making her way towards her cabin.

She was digging in her purse to find her cell phone to see how much charge she had left on it but as she was keeping her eyes glued to her purse, she happened to bump straight into a gorgeous blonde female and the attractive male she saw in the water with the flaming red head. Arella quickly glanced up towards the two of them and spoke, "I am so sorry about that! I should have been watching where I was going!"

Once the girl turned around and started undressing him with her eyes he could tell exactly what kind of girl she was from the look of her. He wondered if she thought she was sneaky by looking him up and down but what could he say he was a sexy stud. This blonde was nothing new to him she was the prep type and the preps thought they were the most entitled people on the world but they at least in his mind were very superficial. A grin came across his face when she spoke of seeing him talking to Raquel earlier which meant she was the jealous type but to cover it up played hard to get but that also came with the prep status and Aiden could play that game as well. Before he could say anything she said he was cute with a wink and walked away right into another girl, it was the girl he had waved at as he was heading back to his cabin after his run.

Aiden turned towards the two women and walked over to them and stood next to the two and put a hand on each of their shoulders. Now now ladies come on it's the first day of camp and your already fighting over me, there's no need for that ladies. Lets all just be friends and not fight over something so amazing, everyone knows sharing is caring and what can I say I'm a nice guy." He said with a laugh and flexed his arms a little to create a three person kind of hug. "Now before she goes telling you I'm cute runner boy the name's Aiden, it's nice to meet you I saw you earlier at the lake. This here is cute table girl." He said with a grin on his face at the fact that he got her back with a stupid chummy name.

The female chuckled at his words, "Fighting over you? Please. I won't deny that you're attractive and all but I don't know a single thing about you other than you being highly cocky," she stated in a calm voice. Of course she really wanted to get to know this guy a bit more, but she wasn't going to give it away very easily. But then again this girl Aiden seemed to call table girl was gorgeous too. Arella mentally shook her head and smiled softly, she needed to keep away from the females, it was already bad enough that most of her family doesn't accept that, she didn't need to start falling for a girl she already had a feeling wouldn't like it. "Oh, um, I'm Arella," she introduced.

ImageSummer chuckled "I'm with her, sorry Aiden right?" She rolled her big blue eyes "I fight over no man, especially when there so many others to choose from. She said lightly. Then she turned to the girl, who introduced herself as Arella, and smiled, not the lazy "I don't care smiles" that she was giving to Aiden but a true smile that made her squint a little and showed off the dimples in her left cheek. And contrary to what this conceited male has told you mu name is Summer, nice to meet you" She took the girl in ,ever observant as always. She could tell the girl was a prep like her and that put her at ease. She liked fellow preps, instead of most girls in her clique, who were frenemies, she truly was friends with all of them.

She tilted her head a bit before asking "Anybody know when this shindig is gonna start" She looked around for any sign of people in charge, but gave up on her search about two minuets in. She did however, note that neither of the girls moved from the embrace.
