[:.Weapon.:]
Naginata
A staff, a sword, and a whip all rolled into one.
[:.Power.:]
"I know not where this power comes from, only that I must wield it."
Pyrokinesis
This power allows Kabal to conjure and manipulate fire simply with his mind. Although it sounds simple, it is hard to control and often bound by emotion.
Lava Armor
This power allows Kabal to summon the fire from within, giving the effect that he is made of hardened lava. This 'hardened lava' produces a thick, almost impenetrable armor. This armor can only be made on parts on the body, and never on the entire body at once.
[:.Abilities.:]
"If you wish to fight, then come."
Silent Warrior/Natural Fighter
Kabal has been trained in the arts of war. In fact, he excels on the battlefield as a ruthless force of sheer strength. To say he has never taken a life is like saying a fish has never swam in the water. He is quite renowned for his silence in battle- never yelling a battle cry, nor uttering a single order, he simply charges into the front lines. Having been trained in the arts of war, Kabal is not only exceptional with Naginata, but is also skilled in hand-to-hand combat.
Fiery Gaze
For some reason, Kabal's eyes seem to be glowing constantly, giving the impression that a flame is constantly burning within. It is rumored that Kabal can tell if a person is lying, simply by gazing into their eyes. While this is true, it is not by some supernatural power or by some fated gift. He is simply really good at gauging other people's facial expressions.
Endless Furnace
Kabal can hold his alcohol. A lot of alcohol. How does he do it? Perhaps it just burns away....
[:.Personality.:]
"My heart burns as an everlasting flame, turning all that touches it into ash. I fear that nothing can extinguish it...."
Kabal is, in one word, intense. Like a searing flame, Kabal's determination is matched by only a few. He is always feeling a sort of burning in his soul- it gives him no relief, no rest, and no sense of peace. He is always looking for some kind of way to extinguish it, the everlasting flame, and so he fights. Perhaps, he thinks, if there is one out there who can challenge me, then maybe they can quench this flame. Because of this thought, he throws himself onto the battlefield. He has become somewhat renowned for his nature in battle- ruthless, merciless, and silent.
When out of the battlefield, Kabal can be hard to talk to. It's not that he's anti-social, he's simply not good with people. At all. He is honest to a fault, which naturally causes him to be blunt. More often than not, because he knows very well that he has little to no people skills, he will keep quiet and speak only when spoken to. However, just because he keeps his silence doesn't mean that he feels any less than anyone else. If anything, he feels strongly, and often has a strong opinion about things. Kabal is downright horrid when it comes to hiding his emotions- if he's sad, he'll cry. If he's happy, he'll laugh. And if he's angry....well, let's just leave it at that.
[:.Bio.:]
Kabal was abandoned as a child, his parents leaving him on the doorstep of an orphanage when he was but a mere six months old. To this day, he has no idea who is parents are, and doesn't care. Of course, he grew up in the orphanage, although the living conditions were terrible. The ladies would often let amateur 'scientists' perform experiments on the orphans, even going so far as to let them try to take Kabal's right eye. Kabal was only seven at the time, and his powers manifested for the first time in self-defense so that the 'scientists' would not be able to take his eye. Somehow, he escaped the orphanage, but not before burning it to the ground. Luckily, most of the other orphans ended up making it out safe and sound. The same could not be said for the 'scientists' or the ladies who let them experiment....
He ran as far and fast as he could, making a living on the streets for a year. He was often bullied and discriminated against simply because of his strange right eye. One day, he used his pyrokinesis to try to steal some food, when a man saw it and caught him. Kabal was sure that he'd be tortured and persecuted. Instead, for some reason the man adopted him. It turned out that the man was actually one of the Holy Knights, who saw potential in a Power Wielder and wished to take it for his own. From that day on, the man became known as Kabal's father, and took care of him well. The man had Kabal trained extensively in the arts of battle, even going so far as to send him to the battlefield as soon as he reached the age of eighteen. For three years Kabal traveled with King Ryuu's army.
Now, at the age of 22, Kabal has finally returned home from the battlefield.
Ever since his powers manifested, a burning grew in his heart and spread into his soul. No matter how much water he drank, no matter how far or fast he ran, he could not quench it. To this day, he still longs for some sense of peace, anything that would cause the burning to cease, short of death.
[:.Other.:]
Although he doesn't act like it, Kabal is blind in his right eye due to the Mark taking the place of a normal pupil.
Kabal's sexual orientation is bisexual.
[:.Status.:]
"Yes, that dress does make you look fat."
Despite his dashing good looks, Kabal is single. This is because when it comes to social matters, Kabal is about as adept as a wet paper bag.
