Introduction
Before the wicked Yubaba, their was a time that their was no bathhouse , no pig farms, and no train. Just the beginnings of a amusement park. At this period of time humans, and spirits lived at peace with each other, and maybe even sometimes lived with each other. Therefore the owner of the park made it coed, for humans interested him. He himself was half human, so he had the power of a spirit, and the body of a human. His name was Kaonashi, or as you youngsters know it Noface. At this time though he had not given up his human side to become the monster you may know. So he maybe to some even looked handsome.
10 years had past, and he was still the owner of the park. The park was at it's peak, everyday the it would e filled with tasty smells of food. At night everything would be lit with lanterns. But a new spirit had moved into town, and a rumor spread that the spirit was making something even grander them his amusement park. So to keep his business in good health, he built a inn on a hill over looking the park, and a small cannon with a river running through it. The inns location as you may know was where the bathhouse was going to be. When the inn was complete it made it so people could come and stay at night, and play in the park at day.
The rumor had past, and Kaonashi's worries blew away with it. Lately work with the park and the inn was making him overwork. For he only had a couple of workers hired. So to make things run smoother, he decided to hire a few more. To make sure they would like their job, and he would have to pay them less. Kaonashi offered them free lodging at the inn, free means. And on the time they weren't working they could go and enjoy the park. All of the workers would be spending a lot of time with each other so Kaonashi had something up his sleeve. For he had a little friendship game planned in mind. The point of the game would be to make the workers comfortable around each other. Now I hope you have been patient, because this is where you come in.
For you would be one of the workers Kaonashi hired. If you choose you can be one of the ancestors of the characters from the movie, and you can choose to be human or spirit. Their are unlimited character slots so don't panic.
[ I will be playing Noface. ]
Spirits~ You are a being that can be in many shapes and sizes, and are much more powerful than the average human, and half spirit/human. You can be a spirit of a certain element, place, or object. For example, as in the movie a river. You can have two powers that are semi powerful of your picking.
Half human/spirit~You look like a human, but have 1 semi powerful power. Your power like a spirit can be of a certain element, place, or object. But you must have something that represents the spirit inside you. For this object helps handle your power inside your weak human body.
Humans~ You my good friend can look like any human you want. Sorry to say you do not have a power, but you can create contracts with spirits for obtaining a sliver amount of their power. But this contract can only be used a number a times, because the human body cannot handle that much energy. But you'd have to give the spirit something of yours in return as payment, like an object that you hold dear to you. Or whatever you and the spirit agree on. YOU CAN ONLY MAKE CONTRACTS WITH FULL SPIRITS.
Jobs~
Cleaner- you are the one who goes around the inn making beds, dusting ect.
Cook- you are the one who prepares the meals nightly, and washes dishes
Assistant- you are the one that helps Kaonashi with problems around the park, and inn.
Gardener- you are the one who tends to plants and flowers around the inn and park.
Farmer- The one who harvests and grows the crops, and takes care of the animals
(NOTE- This jobs will be rotated throughout the roleplay, and you don't have to take them to seriously.)

Re: Life Before the Bathhouse
And I love everyones ideas, it's great that you worked on that plan while I was gone.
I shall make the first post and that will show you it's time to start the RP.
@Inno I loved your idea about filling out "applications" ,they could be in your guys first post . (by the way it can be and opptional.)
I'm going to have us all take a vote. Should the RP begin in the gist of things. Or should it begin when they just arrive. So heres how it's going to work you guys are going to PM me which one you choose and I'll count them up.Just so nobody knows who picked which, only me.
Thanks,
Peachy
Re: Life Before the Bathhouse
Hey guys, it's DasNaisa here. I stupidly forgot my password for my other account,
so here I am. LOL. Don't freak If I'm tagging Sera in all of my posts.
Re: Life Before the Bathhouse
Has Peachy posted a wanted ad for this? That might help.
Re: Life Before the Bathhouse
No, but those ideas sound awesome!!! So excited about starting this (:
SO, just to break it down, we'd like to start where we already have our jobs, but we all haven't met yet, but we meet over a series of events such as something as simple as a customer leaving plates, cutlery etc in their room (: Awesome.
I love you guys :')
Re: Life Before the Bathhouse
lol, hope no one minds a guy housewife.
I have no complaints, it sounds good to me! Loving the scenario btw, lol.
@ Kiyoko
That doesn't sound like a bad idea! So our characters wouldn't be "Oohing" and "Aahing" all over the place,
but they wouldn't exactly be completely used to it yet. I think that the assistant should be an exception though. It would be a bit awkward to have he/she have no clue what they're doing. A few mistakes here and there aren't that big of a deal, but the assistant should generally be comfortable with what they're doing.
CURRENT REAL-LIFE TIME : ( Just thought it might be helpful to add this, in case I wasn't posting for a period of time )
11:37 pm. I'll be gone until 3:30 pm.
(I have school tomorrow :P )

Re: Life Before the Bathhouse
Anyway, I'm glad you agree, I was worried I'd be boo'd off stage, rofl. I also like that idea of adding the job title we have. And also how they got it and why; that would be an interesting part of it.
OHOHOH. We could... fill in "applications" on why our characters would make a good cook or cleaner of whatever. But it should be at least 3 of the 5 choices Peachy has offered. Then we can rate how proficient our characters are at the job they applied for on a scale of 1-5 or something. That way we can be placed correctly. c:
About the place we can all meet...
Quick example: Your character is a cleaner; s/he makes the bed, dusts, etc. Another character is a cook; s/he obviously makes the food and washes the dishes. My character could be the assistant person; helping with problems around the park/inn.
(first meeting) Your character comes to my character (while my character is in the gardens helping another gardener character or something) and says the room they had just been cleaning, that customer leaves their plates on the floor and tables instead of putting it on the cart and setting it outside like they're supposed to (I totally just made that up). So your character is kindda annoyed and wants me to go talk to the customer about the situation. Both characters could go to the kitchen and talk to cook (second meeting) about missing dishes. Afterwards my character can talk to the customer.
Just everyday, normal interactions like that ya'know? We don't all have to get along but I feel like we should be in the middle of the story where we all at least know one another and understand how the park/inn works.
Re: Life Before the Bathhouse
I completely agree with you!
It's much more fun ( and also a lot more simple ) to start in the whole gist of things.
If it's ok with peachy we should all probably add what job our characters start out with and also maybe a teeny weeny bit of history as to how they got in, and why they got the job they did.
If your proposal is accepted, is there any particular place where all of our characters should end up meeting each other?
@Peachy
Sorry If my character is a bit girly. I resubmitted my character as a guy, but I was too lazy to go back and fix his personality. My point is; don't be too surprised if he comes off as a "house-wife" type person. ouo
Re: Life Before the Bathhouse
I, personally, thought it would be better that way mainly because I feel like we could by pass all the beginning steps. If each individual had to get a job, and get familiar with that job, and make friends, and understand their customers, and blahblahblah... that's all boring. I hate to say it, but I feel like that stuff should already be.. done. Let's get to the fun part and skip the boring introductions. I've been a part of other RPs that started at the tippy top (with introductions) and they all failed. Because people got bored.
Maybe I'm going about this all wrong, but it sounds like we're already in the flow of things, and already started so. I think starting in the middle would be a good idea, over all.
c:
Edit: I removed the headsets stuff from my CS because... we're 100 years in the past. ;-;
Re: Life Before the Bathhouse
Sounds like a good idea. I like it. Anyone else have any ideas? I feel like I've been posting
